This story takes place in winter. I love winter. It's a time when bears are hibernating, birds fly south. To me, it is a new beginning. In winter, I met a boy colder than ice-cream. Yet he was worshipped by biased females, who, regardless of his icy soul, loved him unconditionally. Before this, I didn't know who he was. He was nothing but a simple passerby, a stranger, a person I will recognise in a few years only by his face. So insignificant.

But as he says himself, it's difficult not to fall hard for him. Though he pushes all away, even though his very breath could freeze anything in it's path, he had an attraction as strong as a magnet. Like N to S, we were destined to meet. Our cats were destined to fall in love and have kittens, and sometimes, I wonder if we were too.

But fate is a cruel thing. Like a cat who always lands on it's feet, I want to fall without harm. This is my love story, if you could call it that. This is a cat's love story.

She was one of those girls who looked as though they would float away because they were so light. Girls like her were made out of bubbles and sweet things, you could hardly call that human. At first I never looked twice at her, ignored her for most of my life. But when two things come colliding regularly, there are two choices - continue ignoring it, or accept that maybe God has given you a present.

Stupid people ignore it. For a long time, I did too. I ignored any stupid thumping of my heart, and all the jealousy I felt, because all I saw in her was a little sister. A baby kitten. You know those people who make you want to look after them, and after a while you start to realise you feel 'something'? Yeah. That was it.

But maybe I realised too late, or maybe I purposely avoided it, but when I finally saw the light shining upon her angelic face,  it was like a sun melting snow.
