Hourglass Has Turned
ParadiseAfter Hoya had tucked you in bed, he looked back one last time to check on how you were going. He saw the blanket rise and fall with your even, deep breaths. He smiled to himself and quickly went out of your room, closing it silently behind him. He went down the stairs two at a time and then into the living room. Infinite had gathered.
"Good, Hoya's here. Let's get on with it," Sunggyu was leaning forward from the sofa.
L had a dark yet sad look on his face. He kept glancing up the stairs towards your room, scared you were listening.
"I never knew she would finally talk and smile…" Woohyun whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.
There was silence in the room. No one shifted in their seats or moved.
"She was finally opening up to us," Sungyeol had slightly watery eyes.
"Wasn't that our goal? We brought her here because of that," Hoya looked down at his hands clasped together.
"We didn't know that it'll be so soon for her to talk, smile and laugh again," Dongwoo got ticked off.
"We brought her here because we couldn't let her go. We all decided that when we were given the choice. So now some of our goals are finished, our individual hourglasses have turned. Who's hourglass has turned?" Sunggyu closed his eyes then opened them slowly.
"Mine," Hoya spoke up first.
"Mine's too," Sunggyu whispered out.
