March 23, 2264.

Seoul, South Korea.

The Ilhwan Subway.

4:18 PM

Shifting in her seat and trying to find a comfortable spot, Yoon Jinri glanced out the subway window. The shuttle gave a slight rattle as it continued to hum along the track, most likely running over a rock and interrupting the magnetic hovering devices implanted on the bottom of the train. Turning her head away from the boring scenery of the city that she saw everyday, the girl tried to tug down the edge of her work uniform, while shifting the bag of groceries to between her feet so it wouldn't tip over.

"God, it's so freakin' cold," she grumbled, before rubbing her hands together and once again picking up the bag at her feet. "The heat sensors are probably broken."

Not that she'd be surprised if that was true. The subway had been created over twenty years ago, which meant they had been there during the Power Wars. They had probably been trashed by some rebels and the city hadn't gotten enough time to fix them, with all the time they spent fixing the rest of the damaged country.

The Power Wars...

Sighing, she slunk back while shaking her head, feeling a surge of anger towards the idiots and morons who had taken the gift of the Powers and used them to basically trash the world and mess with everyones happiness.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid..." Jinri continued to mutter under her breath while once again staring out the thinly cracked subway window.

She missed the curious look that was shot at her from a male sitting across from her.

4:44 PM

"Current Location: Seoul Nation Park. Please exit in an orderly fashion and have a nice day. Next location: ..."

"Fiiiinally," Jinri moaned, standing up and rubbing her cold legs, trying to regain the feeling in them.

She inched for the exit, trying not to shove past all the people who were headed for it too. Why were they moving at the pace of turtles?! So slow! She had to get back to work!

In her haste to get off the subway sooner, Jinri tried to wiggle her way forward without, well, pushing anyone outright. She failed miserably, knocking the shoulder of a girl who was next to her. She turned to her, an apology already at her lips.

"Whoops, sorr - " She blinked and paused when the girl turned to her and just stared.

A moment of heavy silence settled between them with the girl just giving her a death glare before someone josled Jinri from behind, causing her to stumble forward into the now empty area of the subway. Seconds later she was off, stepping into a slightly bustling platform. She seperated from the crowd unconsiously, all the while scowling.

"What the heck was her problem, it was an accident, geez," She hissed loudly, turning back to the crowd and trying to find the girl. Sure, the girl was pretty-heck, she was gorgeous, with long dark brown almost black hair, big dark eyes, straight nose and full lips-she was probably a model. But that didn't mean she could just act however she wanted around to strangers!

Turning away from the shuffling crowd, she muttered "," before walking parallel along the subway, to avoid the crowds covering the subway station.

Suddenly she spied the girl ahead of her, leaning against one of the station pillars, no doubt waiting for another train or someone to get her. Walking up to her, Jinri stopped right in front of her and simply gave her a fuming look.

"Why did you act so rude on the subway?! I was trying to apologize and you gave me a creepy look." She snapped, leaning closer to the girl.

In return, the girl just remained silent, refusing to say a word, and instead slowly switched her gaze from the magnetic tracks of the subway to Jinri's face.

"Maybe if you had not, like, been in such a hurry, you wouldn't have had to even apologize." She replied coldly, her voice so soft that Jinri had to lean forward to hear her.

"It was an accident!" She shot back, glaring even harder at the girl as she stepped forward.

Stepping away from the pillar, the girl narrowed her eyes in retalition, as the two stood nose to nose. "Look, I'm not having a very good day right now. I acknowledge the fact that you're, like, apologizing, so would you do me a favor, and leave? I'm busy."

Feeling her temper flare even higher at how seemingly rude and blunt the girl was acting, Jinri tried to calm herself with several deep breaths. In...and out. In...and out.

...

Nope. Not working.

Slamming a hand against the pillar next to the girl's head, she snarled, "How about YOU apologize. I came here for a simple explanation, and instead you're acting rude and bratty!"

"Says the girl who's basically ripping off my head because she won't get over a simple two second issue! Just go-"

"Just apologize!"

Her eyes widened in anger and Jinri was positive she was going to hit her. But they were interrupted when she heard a voice call out, "You !" behind her back.

"What the-" She turned to see who had spoken, but instead felt the girl shoving her away several feet.

"I know martial arts, and I have a phone, so if you don't leave right this instant, I'm going to choose one of the two-not that it matters, 'cus in the end, you're going to regret it either way. Leave. Me. Alone."

Jinri growled before taking a step forward, ", try m-"

There was a sudden pop noise and the world froze.

Her heartbeat echoed in her ears as her vision failed her, pitching her into complete darkness. A second later, there was a crack, and suddenly she could see again. Panting, she felt her heartbeat speed up as she met the other girl's gaze. The strangers reaction was the same, with sweat beading on her forehead, and her face slightly flustered.

"What the hell just happened?" She asked. Only then did she hear a faint screeching in the background. Snapping her head towards the rest of the subway, and away from her secluded spot with the other girl, she noticed two things: one, that the subway was completely cleared, all the previous crowds that had been there a minute ago gone, except for two people. And two, that another train was barrelling towards the stalled subway they had just got off of, the same transport that they were only 4 feet from. Was it malfunctioning?! She had never seen a subway move that fast by a station!

"Holy ! They're going to crash!"

She stared open mouthed, unable to move, as the speeding train came closer and closer, feeling panic build up within her. The girl behind her grabbed her arm, and started tugging.

"Move! We have to move!"

She started to stumble away, the ground beneath her shaking from the vibrations of the subway. Jinri could tell they weren't going to make it-in only a few seconds, the trains would smash into each other, and the flying debris would most likely kill anyone who remained on the station. Which meant them.

They were going to die.

I wasn't actually planning on writing any chapters until I got all the new characters, but when I started recieving applications I was so happy and excited that I thought i'd write an intro/teaser chappie. (Might make more...)

Yes, I'm still recieving applications, though if you want your character to be in a relationship with someone, the only two Infinite guys left are Myungsoo/L and Sungjong~

I'm also still open for co-author applications-Pleeeaaase apply~I love writing with other people (I do it all the time with my friends when we get bored)-If worse comes to worse, and no one applies and for whatever reason I find myself having difficulties with this story, I'll probably ask my awesome friend to be a co-author but I'm not sure if they will want to do it :/

Also: I had been thinking about it, and then Wynthe pointed it out so I thought I'd let you guys know- Yes, you can give your guys Powers-there are two ways of getting them-temporary or permentantly. BUT keep in mind that having Powers has become illegal and that it is dangerous to have them-so that would affect your relationship with your family and the outside world, as well as your family's jobs and their relationships, etc.
