"It's nothing,Kris. I'm fine. Let me go," You shook him off and continued walking up panicky. Unfortunately, you fell down again after two steps.

"Aish, noona what's wrong with you?!" He held your arm tightly as if you were some sort of wild animal on the loose. "I'm not going to let go until we reach your apartment," he said sternly.

"What? No, Kris, i'm fine. Leave me alone."  Kris ignored your excuses and you reluctantly had to follow his lead until you reach your apartment. You felt like a spoilt child being scolded by a strict brother. Hard to believe, but Kris is naggy, yes.

Finally, you're back in your apartment, looking forward to being alone. But no, this giant dweeb insists on staying until you're safe to be left alone. You prayed hard that Maeri is on her way. You wanted Kris out as soon as possible. He watched you eat, wash your clothes, and clean the living room. You're running out of things to do to make him bored. You stared at him for a very long time, thinking of how to get rid of him.

"No, i'm not leaving until your friend is here. You might fall down again, dummy."

You were surprised at his remark. Did he read your mind? Or did he realise you were actually holding a knife in your hand? Whatever it was,it still didn't work. You glared at him and stomped your way to the bathroom. Kris was about to follow you into the bathroom, before you threatened to kick him in the shins if he did.

"Wow, you're seriously not a girl. How can you not have BB cream?! There's zero make up in your room. You're a weird girl, noona." 

Is he going through my stuff?

You opened the door abruptly and stormed towards him. "Kris! Put that down!" You grabbed your things hurriedly before Kris could continue rummaging your stuff. 

"Relax, noona. I was just looking around. Besides, this is not my first time in your room," he said cheekily and laughed. You had enough with Kris, it was time to take care of him. You didn't want to do this, but you had to.

Slowly, you grabbed your pillow and hit him as hard as you could on his back. His scream was loud enough to scare you, but the look on his face showed no mercy, scaring you even more.

"YOU! Come back here!" He grabbed a pillow and chased you around the apartment. Damn you and your long legs, Kris. 

Eventually, he cornered you at the door. "You can't escape now, noona." he grinned. You closed your eyes, dreading the hit you were about to receive. 

Any day now, Kris.

You slowly opened your eyes, and to your surprise, saw Kris staring at you intently. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.

"Kris, why are you-"

He leaned closer, you could hear the irregular beat of his heart. You swallowed hard, Is he really going to....me? But why?  Your thoughts are getting more confusing, and being the naive girl you are, you closed your eyes in anticipation.

"I'm glad the pillow fight chase made you happy. Now move over, Baekhyun and Maeri are here." 

The closeness made you feel hot, but those words slapped you back to reality. You were so embarrassed, you moved to the side quietly, slapping your erted thoughts away.

You hugged Maeri as soon as she came in. You hated hugging, but you had a tough morning and needed her more than ever. Maeri was confused at your sudden change in behaviour but was more interested on why you and Kris were alone in the apartment.

As the four of you were eating Chinese noodles at the table, Maeri decided to finally tell you the truth. "Airu-yah, actually, Baekhyun and I have been hiding something."

You nodded, signalling her to go on.

"We've been going on a few dates secretly and now, we've decided to make it official. So, now we're together." Maeri nudged Baekhyun who was eating sloppily. Baekhyun looked up and flashed his usual square smile towards you. "Yep, together!" 

You're not that surprised, to be honest. Maeri is one feisty, flirty woman and Baekhyun is her bias. Something was bound to happen. You and Kris congratulated them happily. They really do look good together, he thought.

"Ah! Noona! I found this letter in your mail. It's from the company. It looks super important."  Baekhyun gave you a thick letter. You took it nervously. This was the results. Whether you'll be enjoying a fancy trip to Shanghai for vacation work or lose your temporary job and extra money for fangirl needs. 

"Kris.... can you open it for me?" You said slowly and reluctantly. You were too nervous and scared you had to ask him to open it for you.

He chuckled and grabbed the letter from your hands. He opened it hastily and gave the contents of the letter to you. 

"Congrats, you'll be stuck with us again. We'll try our best to make your life more difficult from now on." Kris said sarcastically.

You read the whole letter and stared at the plane tickets excitedly. You can see it now. 5-star treatment, expensive hotel, cute Shanghai boys- and then you remembered. You're suppose to work, not play. But, fantasizing won't hurt right?

After everyone left, you started packing happily. Finally, a trip overseas that didn't involve any studying. You even forgot that you were upset earlier. You were hoping this Shanghai trip would make you forget about your past again.

The next day, you called Soomi and Maeri over to help you pack. They made you even more excited. Soomi wants to pack last minute, as usual. And Maeri wanted to help you pack because you would never bring any cute outfits. 

And being the sly Maeri she is, she packed all the outfits you didn't like. " No sweatpants and jerseys for this trip, young lady," she whispered to herself and let out and evil laugh. "Okay Airu, you just need to pack the others." She said innocently. 

"I'm going to check the boys. Wanna come along?" Soomi announced suddenly.

"DEFINITELY! Let's go!" Maeri grabbed your hand, forcing you to come along.

Reluctantly, you followed. How bad could the boys packing skills be?
