‘Kim Hyuna.’

               “Yeah that’s it, Kim Hyuna,” Ilhoon responded.

               “Do you know her, Hyung?” Changsub asked but Hyunseung remained silent.

               “What’s happening?” Jihoon asked.

               “I think Hyunseung knows Hyuna somehow,” Ilhoon answered.

               Hyunseung swallowed, ‘Y-Yeah, I know her. She’s four years younger than me and still the cutest, prettiest girl I’ve ever seen!’ Hyunseung calmed down a bit, ‘So I guess I kinda know her.’

               Junhyung and Changsub couldn’t help but laugh.

               “Guess you kinda like her, huh?” Ilhoon teased.

               ‘What makes you say that?’ Hyunseung responded. Ilhoon rolled his eyes and just turned to listen in on his sister’s conversation.

               “So, how’s the idol life, Unnie,” Sohyun asked, pouring the newcomer a cup of tea.

               “I’m not an idol yet,” Hyuna responded. “I still have several months. The company figured it’d be a good idea to spend a couple of months at home before I debut.”

               “Well I’m sure you’ll be great,” Jiyoon smiled.

               “Yeah, you were always the most talented performer in our Tae Kwon Do class. I wish I could sing dance and rap like you.”

               “Sohyun, don’t compare yourself to me,” Hyuna argued. “You have your own talents.”

               “Yeah, yeah,” Sohyun brushed the girl off.

               “So, Hyuna,” Jiyoon sat next to her friend, “I hear your gonna be performing a number with Mblaq’s Lee Joon, I bet that’s exciting.”

               “Yeah,” Hyuna chuckled. “He’s pretty nice.”

               “And very good looking,” Jiyoon picked up where her friend left off.

               “Sounds like you might have your first celebrity relationship,” Sohyun joked, nudging her friend.

               Hyuna sighed crossing her legs, “Joon is sweet and handsome, but he just doesn’t have that special something I’m looking for.”

               Jiyoon took a sip of tea, smiling at her friend. “Are you still hung up on that boy from across the street?”

               Hyuna’s entire face turned a bright shade of red.

               “Boy from across the street?” Sohyun asked. “I didn’t hear about that.”

               “Oh yeah,” Jiyoon chuckled as Hyuna waved her arms around in embarrassment. “Hyuna used to have this huge crush on an older boy that lived across the street from her.”

               “Yah, Unnie, don’t tell her!” Hyuna whined.

               Jiyoon giggled and Sohyun stared at the older girl. “Now you have to tell me about it.”

               Hyuna sighed, “Fine. It’s been years since I’ve seen him, anyway. He was this awkward boy, always staring off into space. He seemed to have his own little world; I could not even imagine what went through his head. But what attracted me to him were his moves.”

               “His moves?” Sohyun asked.

               “Yep,” Hyuna smiled. “He was a talented dancer, one of the best I’ve ever seen. And more often than not, he’d go out onto his front lawn just to dance. I remember waking up at five in the morning just to watch him dance, sometimes to no music at all.”

               The boys continued eavesdropping on the girls’ conversation, with the exception of Jihoon who went to sorting the cards of their game. Changsub was particularly invested in what Hyuna had to say.

               ‘Looks like Hyuna has someone she likes, huh,’ Changsub transmitted only to receive silence. ‘You gonna be alright, hyung?’

               Hyunseung paused for a moment until a single thought came to his mind, ‘Boy from across the street?’

               “It sounds enchanting,” Sohyun sighed wistfully, “a dancing Prince Charming. What’d he look like, I bet he was handsome.”

               “A little,” Hyuna smiled. “I mean, I never really saw him up close, I barely remember anything about his face. However, I do remember he had these really pretty doe-like eyes, almost like a girl’s.”

               “That’s so cute,” Sohyun chanted.

               “I think so,” Hyuna sighed, “But we never really talked.”

            “He was probably just shy,” Jiyoon smiled.

               “Maybe,” Hyuna sighed. “But I guess it’s too late to find out.”

               “What happened to him?” Sohyun sat up.

               “Well at some point, he just seemed to disappear. I’d see his parents and sister from time to time, but he was never with them. Part of me thinks that… maybe he passed away.”

               Sohyun’s eyes widened as she covered , “I’m so sorry, Unnie.”

               “It’s ok, Sohyun,” Hyuna smiled. “I’m not sad, ‘cause I still wanna believe that he’s actually still out there somewhere, maybe in college or something. And if not, he’ll always be in my memory, as well as that little song of his.”

               “What song?” Sohyun asked.

               Jiyoon turned to the young girl, “Hyuna used to say, she’d always catch him singing a song she’d never heard before, as though he was looking for someone to sing with. How’d the song go, Hyuna?”

               “♪Niga nareul itjji mothage jakku ni apeseo tto. Ni mam jakku naega heundeureo beoseonal su eoptdorok,” Hyuna sang a quick bar.

               “That’s a weird song,” Ilhoon voiced. “I’ve never heard it before.”

               “Me neither,” Changsub voiced and Junhyung shrugged.

              Hyunseung simply hummed the melody before singing a quick line, ‘♪Ni ipsureul tto humchigo meolli taranabeoryeo, Nan Trou-a-a-a-ble! Trouble, Trou-Trouble Maker!’

               “BWOH?!” Ilhoon, Changsub and Junhyung all screamed in unison, prompting Jihoon to drop his cards in surprise and attracting the girl’s attention.

               ‘Y-You know that song?!’ Junhyung shouted to Hyunseung.

               ‘Of course I do, I made it up.’

               “Wait, if you made it up, then that means you’re-”

               “Made what up?” Ilhoon’s statement was immediately cut off when Jiyoon wandered into the living room.

               “Uh, uh,” Ilhoon stuttered.

               “M-My game, Krakatoa,” Changsub interrupted, “I created it, so I should be the one to make a profit off of it.”

               “Hey,” Jihoon yelled. “I’m just as responsible for the game as you are! And J was the one to design the cards. We deserve as much of the profit as you do.”

               “Yeah, of course you do,” Changsub announced. “But how would we even give J any credit. We don’t even know his real name.”

               “You don’t know his name,” Ilhoon asked. “Why do you hang out with someone you don’t even know?”

               “Because he’s fun,” Changsub and Jihoon answered in unison, prompting both Ilhoon and Jiyoon to roll their eyes.

               Jiyoon sighed, returning to the kitchen with her two friends while Jihoon scooted closer to his friends.

               “So what’s really going on,” Jihoon whispered.

               Changsub smiled, “Looks like Hyunseung is Hyuna’s long lost suitor from across the street.”

               Hyunseung sighed, ‘I… I can’t believe she liked me. She used to watch me dance? It seems a little stalker-ish actually.’

               ‘You danced on your front lawn in broad daylight, Pabo. I’m sure everyone in your neighborhood saw you,’ Junhyung retorted.  

               Changsub chuckled, “Front lawns are the best place to dance, all the space of a backyard without the isolation of a fence.”

               ‘Exactly,’ Hyunseung cheered.

               Ilhoon and Junhyung both stared at the boy and shadow, speaking in unison, “Are you sure you two aren’t blood related?”

               Sohyun glanced over at the boys, smiling at them talking and laughing. She couldn’t help but stare at the boy in the light-brown knit cap, and smile.

               “What’s with that look,” Hyuna narrowed her eyes at Sohyun and smiled. “You liiiike one of them, don’t you?”

               “W-What?! No, what ever gave you that idea?!” Sohyun denied, her face turning bright red.

               “Mmmhmm,” Hyuna smirked. “So which one is it, the sleepy eyed one, the one with the cards, or perhaps you like Jiyoon’s brother.”

               “Wait, what?!” Jiyoon yelled.

               “Yah, it’s not about me!” Sohyun yelled. “We’re talking about you and… um, um what was his name?”

               “I don’t know,” Hyuna sighed.

               “You don’t know his name?” Jiyoon asked.

               Hyuna shook her head, “anytime I’d get the courage to talk to him or ask, he’d say something odd and run away. It was kinda cute actually.”

               “Or dorky,” Jiyoon joked.

               “Well whatever it is, I just wish that someday, I’d get the chance to dance with him, just one time.”

               Hyunseung sighed, glancing at the beautiful girl across the room.

               ‘Well, well, well,’ Junhyung smirked, ‘Looks like the shoe is on the other foot now.’
