"It's Shin Sukjin." Mr. Kim clenched his fists as news about Aeri's disappearance reached him. "I had never seen this time that he will go back in my life. In our lives."

Soyeon, Aeri and Aeran's mother, hugged her husband as she cries. "What does he need from Aeri? Our daughter has nothing to do with whatever we did wrong. I don't even remember doing something bad to him."

"I did." Mr. Kim whispered.

"W-What?" Soyeon looked at his eyes.

"He liked you. He was going to confess his love for you on the same day I asked you on a date." Mr. Kim hugged his wife. "He was my best friend but we liked the same girl. That was the end of our friendship, and he treated me as his worst enemy from then on."

"But I never liked him in the first place, Chunsoo-yah."

"He never moved on." Chunsoo closed his eyes while still hugging Soyeon. "I will do my best to search for our daughter."

"I lost everything in my life." Zico slumped back on the couch in their apartment. He stared at the framed photo hanging on the wall across him displaying a happy moment of Aeri and him.

"Don't lose hope, Jiho." Aeran sat beside him. "We will find Aeri soon."

"I don't know anymore, noona. My child...then my wife." He covered his face with his palms. "What have I done to suffer all of these?"

Matt went behind the couch and patted his shoulders. "It's not just you, Jiho. We're all in this together."

"All I want is to be with her." His tears are starting to form. "Why is there always an obstacle every time the two of us are happy together? Why?!"

Kyung sighed. "Let's not lose our hope and our faith, Jiho."

Taehyun arrived at the apartment. He was the main negotiator between Aeri's family and the authority. Everyone in the apartment looked at him as soon as he entered.

"What's the news?" Aeran immediately asked.

"They are still searching for Shin Sukjin. He is now blacklisted in all ports here in Korea, and the authority is now searching all over the country for his possible location." Taehyun explained.

"How long will it take for them to find that kidnapper?!" Jiho stood up, enraged. "It has been three days. Three. ing. Days." He went towards the door and opened it.

"Where are you going, Woo Jiho?!" Jaehyo stopped him.

"I'm going to look for Aeri by myself. I can't wait for all those freaking policemen. They are taking too long! What if something happens to Aeri?!!" He continued going outside and slammed the door closed.

Kyung was about to follow his best friend, but Taeil stopped him.

"Let him be. He'll be back." Taeil calmly said.

Zico drove his car without any direction headed to. He is mentally cursing himself for leaving Aeri alone in their apartment.

"It would not happen if I was there with her all the time. this, Woo Jiho! You're such a failure!!!" He screamed to himself.

After hours of driving endlessly around Seoul, he stopped near the Han River and went outside his car. He slumped himself on the grassy part and looked at the stars.

"Where are you, Kim Aeri? My Kim Aeri..." He looked up at the brightest star shining in the night sky. "I hope that you are doing fine and that psycho doctor did not do anything harming you."

He stretched his left arm above his face and stared at his wedding ring on his finger. Then he reached for his pocket using the other hand and took out Aeri's wedding ring that the doctors took off in the emergency room.

"Why are you always taken away from me?" He sighed. Is it a sign that I should give up on you already, Aeri?

He put Aeri's ring back in his pocket and sat up.

It's like we are not really destined to be together.

But I don't know how to live my life without you.

I want to know that you are safe and sound.

You mattered to me the most.

Aeri...please come back.
