Haneul unlocked the gate and opened it stepping in. She gently closed the gate and noticed that it didn’t squeak anymore.

*Dad must have oiled the gate.* She smiled and went towards the house. Unlocking the front door, Haneul stepped in to be greeted by silence.

She frowned and remembered that her dad was searching for work and her mom was at work again. Haneul trudged towards her bedroom. When she opened her door, her phone beeped indicating that she received a new message.

Closing her door, Haneul pulled out her phone from her blazer pocket. She unlocked her phone and tapped on the new message that she received.

‘Why did you leave me like that? >n<’ – Anonymous

Haneul frowned at the foreign number with her brows knitted together. “Did I give my number to someone?” She scratched her head trying to recall, but couldn’t. Setting her backpack down, Haneul message the mysterious person back.

‘Who is this?’ – Haneul

A quickly reply came back.

‘How could you forget about me? Am I not your friend?’ – Anonymous

“Who in the world is this, my friend? I’m pretty sure I saved all of my friends’ number-” She faltered when she remembered someone. Haneul quickly replied back.

‘Is this V?’ – Haneul

Haneul bite her lip in anticipation. It seemed like a hundred years when a message finally came back.

‘Finally! I thought you forgot about me.’ – V

Haneul couldn’t help but chuckle. She sent another reply.

‘How could I forget you? We’re desk buddies. ^^’ – Haneul

‘It’s good that you remember we’re desk buddies.’ – V

 Haneul smiled and sent him another message.

‘Did you get home safely?’ – Haneul

After sending the message, Haneul placed her phone on her bed. She went to her closet and changed into shorts and a t-shirt.

Then her phone beeped. Haneul hopped over to her bed and swiftly picked up her phone. She opened the message and let out a laugh reading it.

‘I’m supposed to ask that question, not you! I’m the man here. ):<’ – V

‘It doesn’t matter who asks the question.
