A week blew by.

Haneul and V had gotten closer. V even considered them ‘best friends’ because they were closer than ‘friends’ were, which didn’t make any sense to Haneul but she just went along with whatever V said.

Though V wasn’t the only person that Haneul grew to know, she also got to know BTS more. She learned how silly and dorky the boys were. The badass image that they had was nothing close to how bubbly and cute they were.

It had surprised Haneul when Suga did an aegyo. She thought it was the cutest thing ever! That was until…Jungkook showed his aegyo. She could have died because it was beyond cute! There were no words to describe what she thought about his aegyo.

Of course V was jealous that his friends took Haneul’s attention from him so he too showed Haneul his aegyo. However, his aegyo didn’t out beat Jungkook’s. That maknae was the king of aegyos in BTS.

Also, like V had promised, he greeted Haneul everyday in front of the school gates. He was never late once to school for the past week because of that promise. He even sleeps early the night before so that he would be able to wake up and greet Haneul.

There were even times in that week that V had almost walked Haneul home, but she kindly refused. Why? Well because she wasn’t those types of girls to let boys take her home (even if they were friends or ‘best friends’ in this case). It just wasn’t her to let someone take her home.

So no matter how much V bothered her about how dangerous it was, Haneul still refused. She was an independent girl and she was going to continue to be independent.

It may seem that Haneul didn’t make any friends beside BTS, but that’s where you’re wrong. She did make a friend. Just one because girls were either jealous or hated Haneul for being with their lovely BTS and boys were either too shy or too scared to approach her because of her looks or BTS.

Either way, Haneul didn’t seem to mind not having that many friends because she was used to it. So it really didn’t make a difference to her.

“Haneul~” A voice called. Haneul stopped teaching V, looked up, and saw someone familiar at the classroom door.

It was break time and students were everywhere in the hallways, chatting with their friends.

Haneul’s face lit up, “Minzy!” 

“Hey V.” Minzy greeted the grumpy V, who just nodded his head in acknowledgement. “Haneul, I need to talk to you.” Without waiting for her response, Minzy grabbed Haneul’s arm and pulled her out of the classroom.

Haneul glanced back at V, who was surprised at what just happened. She sent him an apologetic smile before turning to her friend.

When the two stepped into the back staircase, Minzy let go of Haneul. “You know, that was really rude.” Haneul rubbed her arm. “Sorry, but this is really important and I think you need to know about it.” Minzy said in a serious tone.

Haneul blinked at her friend. It was the first time she has ever heard Minzy be so serious. When they became friends a week ago, Minzy was always playful and cheerful but now she wasn’t.

“Did something happen?” Haneul asked worried. Minzy shook her head, “No, it’s nothing about me.” “Then what it is?” Minzy pressed her lips into a thin line.
