Chapter 18.

Today was the day of the Talent Show! B.A.P and other people who's going to perform were backstage in the hall rehearsing for the last time on the actual stage with lights.The teachers were busy organizing the chairs and spotlights and music. You were there helping the teachers too.

-BackStage-

After lining up the chairs you went backstage to check out What B.A.P was doing.It was full of contestants dressing in their outfits. You spotted B.A.P near the dressing rooms. They were fixing their leather jackets. ‘’How do I look noona?’’ Zelo pushed his chest forward trying to look manly. ‘’..Great!’’ you smacked his back playfully.Himchan was sitting at the dressing table checking himself out on the mirror. Daehyun came out of the dressing room. Your eyes widened. He looked…WOW. You realized you were staring and him and your forced yourself to look somewhere else.

‘’Wow Daehyun! This suits you!’’ Youngjae came out wearing similar outfits but has different details. They looked great. ‘’Jinja?’’ Daehyun looked at himself in the mirror and saw you next to him. ‘’Watcha think?’’ Daehyun turned around and faced you. *AMAZING!* You thought. ‘’…Not bad.’’ You raised both of your brows. ‘’Wheres Kikwang?’’

Kikwang slowly opened his door of the dressing room poking his head out. He looks the same with the hair and glasses. Yongguk got up and pulled him out. Your eyes popped.He was wearing a black tanktop and leather vest jacket that shows off his toned arm muscles.He looks so..different.His body doesn’t suit his face though.Kikwang awkwardly covered his chest. ‘’Do I look weird?’’

(Imagine him in that outfit on the top left :D)

‘’No man! You look grand!’’ Jongup patted his back bringing him in.

You gave him 2 thumbs up. ‘’You look great Oppa’’

Kikwang blushed.

*Great?! He’s GREAT and I’m ‘’NOT BAD?’’* Daehyun glared at Kikwang folding his arms.

Himchan looked at Kikwangs reflection at the mirror and wagged his index finger. ‘’No no no no.’’ Himchan got up.

He pulled Kikwang over and sat him down infront of the mirror. ‘’Look at your nerdy face’’ he sighed and pulled off his glasses. Kikwang squinted at himself. ‘’Hyung what are you-‘’

‘’Shh! Listen to the expert.’’

Himchan then grabbed his hairgel and started styling his hair ruining his neat hairstyle.Himchan looked at his artwork and nodded.He then grabbed an eyeliner. Kikwang pushed his hand away. ‘’Andweh andweh! This is enough..thanks..’’Kikwang hastily got up away from Himchan. Himchan shrugged. ‘’If you don’t want to be the hottest’’ Himchan sat down and started applying makeup to himself.

Kikwang looked at himself in a full body mirror. ‘’I don’t look like myself..’’

‘’You look great though!’’ you came up behind him.

‘’I do?’’ he smiled a little.

‘’Mm.’’ You nodded scanning him from head to toe.

‘’The only thing missing is your CONFIDENCE.’’

‘’..confidence..’’ Kikwang stared at himself.

‘’Hey its our turn lets go!’’ Yongguk was already on stage in position.

‘’I’ll be watching you rehearse’’ you gave him a smile and walked out,

-After rehearsing on stage- B.A.P went backstage.The rehearsal went well.You were the only one watching.You clapped when they finished their song. The mics were working at the music was in sync.

Soon another girl came on stage. She was playing the piano. You sat there listening to the sweet melody.

Kikwang sat beside you.It was only you and him in the whole P.E Hall with a few teachers shuffling about near the back. ‘’Good Job. You did really well a minute ago’’

Kikwang rubbed the back of his head. ‘’I tried’’ he smiled.

‘’..Min Young ah..’’ he looked right into your eyes.

‘’I’ve been wanting to tell you this since day one..I mean..I..First thing..Thank you.For being the first one that actually..cared for me.For bringing me in your group so I can make so much friends..’’

You looked back into his eyes listening.

‘’I wouldn’t be able to get on that stage without you..I wouldn’t be here without you…Jinja..Gomawo..’’ Kikwang looked down and blushed really hard but the lights were dim so you couldn’t see. ‘’and.I…I……I REALLY REALLY-‘’ Suddenly the lights switched off and the room went pitch black.The girl playing the piano stopped and you could hear murmurs and feet shuffling. You and Kikwang looked around wondering what happened. *No! I can’t let this slip away again and again! I have to tell her!* Kikwang shut his eyes and took a deep breath. ‘’I REALLY LIKE Y-‘’

You got up. ‘’Kikwang I have to go see what happened’’ With that you jogged to the teachers.

Kikwang sat there in silence. He sighed. ‘’Knew this would happen.I’m never successful in anything I do.’’

The lights were faulty but now its back on and everything was going smoothly. The Talent Show is starting in minutes and students were already starting to flood the whole Hall. Luckily you already saved front row seats for you and your siblings.

-Backstage-

Kikwang was sitting infront of the mirror staring at a spot with a blank face.

‘’Guys we’re all ready for this yeah?’’ Yongguk looked at everyone. ‘’Deh! (Yes)’’ everyone answered.Himchan applied some conceal  under his eyes. ‘’Hyung what are you doing?’’ Zelo looked curiously at him. ‘’This is called a concealer.Its my best friend.’’ Himchan the glorious concealer stick and brought it to his cheek. Daehyun laughed at him ‘’bwoyah that’s something fugly people use’’ he joked

‘’Shut up! You need it more than me’’ Himchan jabbed a finger at his dark circles. ‘’Daehyun bent down to the mirror examining his circles then looked a Himchans flawless face. The shifted his gaze to daydreaming Kikwang and realized he doesn’t have any dark circles either.‘’….’’ Daehyun then suddenly grabbed the concealer off Himchans hand and locked himself in the dressing room. ‘’JUNG DAEHYUN!!!!!” Himchan pound the door.

You go backstage again to wish B.A.P Good Luck.As you’re going through the other contestants you Kai suddenly jumped infront of you.

Kai’s POV: I was getting ready with my friends for the show when I spotted MinYoung  walking through the crowd of people. ‘’HYUNG! Get in there!’’ I shoved him under the table. ‘’What-‘’

‘’Shut up its MinYoung’’ I gave him a look and he immedietly stayed quiet.

‘’Hey MinYoung!’’

‘’Oh hey Kai..’’ You wondered why he suddenly popped up.

‘’What are you doing here?’’

‘’Just to wish my friends that were about to perform a good luck’’ You pointed towards B.A.P

‘’Oh yeah same me too..’’He nodded towards Chanyeol,Suho,Sehun, and D.O. ‘’I guess I’ll catch you later’’ with that he went over to them.

You shrugged and walked to B.A.P.

They were next to perform. You hugged everyone except for Daehyun checking out his new face without the dark circles. ‘’Good Luck everyone!!’’ You turned to Kikwang ‘’Hwaiting!’’ You pumped your fist and smiled. ‘’..hwaiting.’’ he pumped his face and smiled also.Daehyun sat on his seat waiting for you to say something to him.

‘’Cmon Daehyun we’re going on stage now!’’ Daehyun rolled his eyes and got up he was last to go up the stairs to the stage. ‘’Jung Daehyun!’’ You called. He turned around . ‘’Hwaiting!’’ You pumped  your fist and smiled charmingly.Daehyun turns around in a cool way and walks up the stairs. *YES!* He did a little victory dance in his head.Chapter 18.
