Chapter 32

Kyuhyun was busily preparing his pregnant wife’s breakfast inside the dining room while talking to someone over the phone.

“I want you to make a reservation at Conrad Hotels and Resorts later. I’m going to throw a party later at seven in the evening. We’re going to use the hotel’s grand ballroom”

Kyuhyun told the person he’s talking with over the phone.

“What for Sir?”

The girl on the line asks Kyuhyun curiously.

“Nicole…”

Kyuhyun sighs and stares at his iphone that was on top of the dining table. Kyuhyun puts his mobile phone in speaker mode for him to be able to prepare Sungmin’s breakfast properly while talking to his secretary over the phone.

“I told you that I’m going to throw a party later at seven in the evening. It’s just a simple celebration to announce the news about my wife’s pregnancy”

Kyuhyun told his secretary with a proud smile on his lips. He’s very happy and really proud that Sungmin is already pregnant and he just can’t wait for her to give birth though he knows that they still need to wait for eight more months for his first born child to arrive.

“I want you to invite all my wife’s friends and all my business partners and the other CEOs. All the employees and members of the Board of Cho International Group of Companies are all invited and of course my Vice-President”

Kyuhyun informs Nicole happily. Nicole nods her head and write it down in her ipad.

“Copy Sir. Is there anything else?”

Nicole asks. Kyuhyun thinks for the meantime. He nods his head when he remembers something.

“Does dad’s charity already pay for the European Trip of Seungri next month?”

Kyuhyun asks, checking if everything is already prepared for Seungri’s European Trip because he doesn’t want Seungri to have a hard time in preparing for his passport and visa and he doesn’t want Seungri to think about all the expenses for the trip.

“I don’t want the kid to think about it too much because he needs to study for the exams before the trip. Make sure that everything is ready for his trip in Europe and I give his allowance later for his trip in Europe to Onew. He will just give it to you when he arrives there. You give it to Chullie and tell her that it’s from the charity. I don’t want Seungri to find out that the money came from me because he won’t accept it for sure. Don’t forget to give Min’s friends invitations for the party later. Don’t tell them that Min is pregnant. Keep it a secret because it’s a surprise. Just tell them to attend and they all need to be there for my wife”

Kyuhyun told Nicole, giving her instructions. Nicole nods her head and write down everything in her ipad.

“Anything else Sir?”

Nicole asks. Kyuhyun thinks again for the meantime.

“Tell Onew that I’ll be in my office at twelve noon. Tell him to prepare the Conference Room 5 for my meeting”

“Yes Sir”

“Ok. That’s all. You arrange the party later ok. Please don’t hesitate to hire party coordinators if you need help or if you need one. I’ll just see you later and Onew. Call me if needed. Bye”

Kyuhyun told Nicole before hanging up. He continues preparing his wife’s breakfast happily when Mrs. Cho arrives inside the dining room with Jessica. They were surprise to see Kyuhyun busily preparing something on the dining table.

“Good morning sweetheart”

Mrs. Cho greets her son happily.

“Good morning mom”

Kyuhyun greets his mother without staring at her. His attention is only focused on Sungmin’s breakfast. Mrs. Cho and Jessica stare at each other curiously before walking towards Kyuhyun to see what he’s doing.

“Wow! Is that for our breakfast today?”

Jessica asks her cousin while staring at the pasta that Kyuhyun cooked for his pregnant wife. It looks delicious because the presentation is really good.

“This is not for breakfast. French toast and blueberry waffles are for breakfast. This food is only for my baby Min”

Kyuhyun told his cousin.

“How come you didn’t tell the chefs to cook one for me as well? It looks delicious”

Jessica told her cousin while pouting at him. Kyuhyun raises his head and stares at his cousin and mother happily.

“Jess, if you want to eat pasta, ask the chefs to cook for you. You see. This pasta is specially made for Min by me”

Kyuhyun told his cousin with a bright smile on his face.

“Excuse me? You’re the one who cooked that pasta?”

Jessica asks curiously. Kyuhyun nods, feeling proud of his self.

“SERIOUSLY?”

Mrs. Cho and Jessica shout in unison while giving Kyuhyun a shock expression. They can’t believe that Kyuhyun can cook something like that because they know that Kyuhyun doesn’t even know how to turn the stove on.

“You’re kidding right? Come on Kyu. You don’t even know how to turn the stove on”

Jessica told her cousin, teasing him. Kyuhyun frowns at her.

“Excuse me Jessica Jung. If you don’t want to believe, you can ask the chefs. I wake up very early just to cook this very special pasta for my wife because she loves it”

Kyuhyun told Jessica with a proud smile on his lips.

“Min loves it? How?”

Mrs. Cho asks.

“Well, my wife requested me to cook for her yesterday night. I made my own recipe and she loves it so much. Want to try it?”

Kyuhyun asks his mother and his cousin while smiling like an evil inwardly.

“Can we?”

Mrs. Cho asks her son happily. Kyuhyun nods his head happily. He gets two forks on top of the dining table and gives one to Mrs. Cho and the other one to Jessica, allowing them to taste his special pasta that is only for Sungmin. Mrs. Cho and Jessica brightly before tasting the pasta that Kyuhyun cooked for his pregnant wife. Mrs. Cho and Jessica happily taste the pasta, but they suddenly cough upon tasting it because of it’s super bitter taste. Kyuhyun starts laughing like an evil while staring at his mother and Jessica who quickly grab their drinks, trying not to puke.

“Seriously Kyu…”

Jessica coughs softly and finishes drinking her cold glass of fresh orange juice. She wipes her lips with a table napkin.

“What kind of food is that? Why it is so bitter?”

Jessica asks while wiping the tears at the corner of her eyes. Mrs. Cho puts down her cold glass of fresh orange juice on the dining table and stares at her son who is still laughing really hard.

“Do you plan to kill your wife with that super bitter pasta? Seriously sweetheart, Min will not eat that kind of food. Actually, is that even a food?”

Mrs. Cho asks her son with teary eyes. She and Jessica think that Kyuhyun is being a bit cruel to his pregnant wife for cooking a food that is not suiting to everyone’s taste.

“Min won’t eat that kind of food. Honestly Kyu, are you insane? Why will you even cook something like that? Why is it so bitter? Just as I thought…that’s the result because you don’t even know how to turn on the stove”

Jessica told Kyuhyun, frowning at him. Kyuhyun stops laughing and wipes the tears at the corner of his eyes because of laughing so hard.

“I put a lot of bitter melon and chopped peppermint and those are the secret ingredients for my very delicious pasta”

Kyuhyun told them happily. Jessica raises an eyebrow.

“Delicious? You call it delicious? Since when did super bitter pasta become delicious? Why are you so weird huh? Why will you put peppermint and bitter melon on it?”

Jessica asks, still frowning at her cousin.

“Well, those are the first ingredients that I saw. You see. I really try my best to cook for my pregnant wife yesterday night because she demands for it. She doesn’t want to eat dinner unless I cook for her. Since I’m a very good husband and soon to be daddy, I just grant my pregnant wife’s wish and I just follow what Doctor Park told me when I brought Min to her. She told me to follow what my pregnant wife wants and needs to avoid miscarriage”

Kyuhyun explains to them.

“I know that it doesn’t taste good. It really tastes awful, but for Min, it taste so delicious. She even request for it as her breakfast today”

Kyuhyun told them. Jessica sighs.

“Well, I guess pregnant women really have weird cravings. I remember Fany when she was three weeks pregnant, she always crave for an ice and spicy food. That was really weird”

Jessica told them. Mrs. Cho nods her head, agreeing with her niece because she also experience weird cravings when she’s pregnant with Kyuhyun.

“I guess women are becoming weird when they are pregnant. I also have weird cravings when I was pregnant with Kyu and I really give your uncle a hard time. But he never complains about it. He just follows everything that I told him and give everything that I want. He’s such a sweet and very caring husband”

Mrs. Cho happily told Jessica before focusing her attention on her son.

“That’s why you need to be obedient and patience all the time because being pregnant is never easy, especially for Min because of her condition and it’s her first pregnancy. She still doesn’t know what to do and that’s why you need to take care of her all the time and don’t give her a lot of stress”

Mrs. Cho told Kyuhyun, giving him some piece of advice. Kyuhyun nods his head and wraps his hands around his mother’s arm.

“I won’t worry that much because you’re here mom. You will help me, right?”

Kyuhyun asks while flashing his cute doe eyes. Mrs. Cho nods happily.

“Of course sweetheart, I will guide you and Min on how to be a good, loving and very responsible parents and I will guide Min on her pregnancy, so it won’t be hard for her”

Mrs. Cho told her son. Kyuhyun smiles brightly at him.

“Thanks mom”

Kyuhyun told his mother before kissing her cheek.

“By the way, we’re going to have a party later at the grand ballroom of Conrad Hotels and Resorts. It’s just a simple celebration. I will announce to the world that my baby Min is already pregnant and I’ll be a daddy soon”

Kyuhyun told his mother and cousin happily.

“But don’t tell it to my wife because it’s a surprise for her”

Kyuhyun told them. Mrs. Cho and Jessica happily nod at him.

“Please excuse me for awhile. I’ll just go upstairs to wake my wife, so we can already join you in breakfast”

Kyuhyun told them happily before leaving the dining room.

“He’s really excited to be a dad soon. I bet Kyu will be a good and very loving father just like uncle”

Jessica told her aunt. Mrs. Cho nods her head.

“If only your uncle is still alive, I’m sure that he will give Kyu dozen of advices every day about being a good father and how to take care of his wife while she’s pregnant. I’m sure your uncle will not only throw a party once he finds out about Min’s pregnancy, I bet he will have a press conference and throw party for one week. He will surely dance because of joy”

Mrs. Cho told her niece. Jessica nods her head, agreeing to her aunt. She also thinks that way because Mr. Cho is really eager to have a grandchild.

“It’s just sad because he can never see his grandchild anymore and he can no longer play with him and take care of him because he’s no longer here with us. Your uncle really want to see his grandchild before he leaves us, but that thing didn’t happen. But I know that he will watch over him and take care of him from heaven”

Mrs. Cho told Jessica as tears start falling from her eyes upon remembering her husband who is no longer with them.

“Aunt…”

Jessica wipes Mrs. Cho’s tears away.

“Uncle will be sad if he sees you crying again. Kyu and Min will also be sad if they see you crying”

Jessica told her aunt. Mrs. Cho wipes her tears away and smiles at her niece.

“Sorry about that Jess. I just remember your uncle. Let’s not cry anymore. Min will surely be sad and will worry and it’s not good for pregnant woman to worry and to be sad. It will be bad for the baby”

Mrs. Cho told Jessica while wiping her tears.

“Let’s just eat our breakfast now. The lovey dovey couple will follow later”

Mrs. Cho told Jessica. They sit on their respective seats.

“Aunt, I keep on wondering why Kyu looks tired. I wonder what time he sleeps yesterday night. He still looks sleepy”

Jessica told Mrs. Cho while pouring cold orange juice in her glass. Mrs. Cho nods her head, agreeing to her niece. She’s also wondering why her son looks very sleepy and really tired. It’s because Kyuhyun didn’t have a proper sleep yesterday night because of Sungmin who keeps on disturbing him. Sungmin always wake Kyuhyun whenever she’s going to pee and she keeps on peeing yesterday night. She even throws up, making Kyuhyun worry about her. Kyuhyun offers to bring his wife to the hospital, but Sungmin ends up crying and that makes him worry some more. He gives Sungmin a leg and foot massage because she’s having cramps. Kyuhyun just watch Sungmin in her sleep all night and he keeps on talking to their little cherub in Sungmin’s tummy all night because he’s really happy and very excited to see his child soon.

“Maybe he did a lot of paper works again. You know him. He’s always busy with his work”

Mrs. Cho told Jessica.

“I just hope this time he won’t be too busy because Min needs him all the time”

“Don’t worry Jess. I’m sure that Kyu will always spend a lot of time with his wife now that she’s pregnant. See how excited and happy he is? He will even throw a party to announce the pregnancy of his wife. He’s really cute. I’ve never seen him act like a kid for a very long time. It’s really good that he’s a better person now and thanks to Min”

Mrs. Cho told Jessica happily.

“Min is really his angel”

Jessica told her aunt. They smile at each other and start eating their breakfast while talking about the possible names for Kyuhyun and Sungmin’s first baby.

MEANWHILE…

Kyuhyun happily return inside his room to wake his pregnant wife, so they can already eat their breakfast and join Mrs. Cho and Jessica. Kyuhyun’s smile suddenly vanished from his lips upon arriving inside his room because his bed is empty and Sungmin is no longer there sleeping.

“Where is my baby Min? When I wake up, she’s still sleeping in our bed. I just go down to cook her breakfast and prepare it inside the dining room and she’s no longer here? Where did she go?”

Kyuhyun asks his self.

“BABY, WHERE ARE YOU?”

Kyuhyun shouts as he starts looking for his wife inside their room.

“MIN, WHERE ARE YOU? IT’S TIME FOR BREAKFAST! MOM AND JESS ARE WAITING FOR US AT THE DINING ROOM!”

Kyuhyun shouts. He heard some noise inside the bathroom. Kyuhyun quickly run towards the bathroom and holds the doorknob to open the door, but he can’t open it because it was lock. He can hear someone groaning inside and he is sure that his wife is throwing up again.

“Min baby, are you inside?”

Kyuhyun asks as he starts to know on the door.

“Please open the door”

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin washes her face and and runs her hands on the marble counter, looking for the paper towel, but she drops the box of paper towels on the floor causing Kyuhyun to worry about her. Kyuhyun’s knock starts getting loud.

“Baby, what’s happening inside? Please open the door!”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin with worried voice. Sungmin shook her head. She feels dizzy again. She holds her head and drops her long cane on the floor. Sungmin slowly sits on the floor before she falls down. She starts crawling, following Kyuhyun’s loud knock on the door.

“Baby, please open the door. How many times do I need to tell you not to lock the door whenever you’re going inside the bathroom and you should call for someone who will accompany you inside? Why are you not listening to me? Please open the door now. I’m already worried here”

Kyuhyun told his wife while knocking continuously. Sungmin bumps onto the bathtub. She rests her head and closes her eyes, feeling weak and really dizzy. Her morning sickness is really giving her a lot of hard time and she feels a little pain in her body because she’s having cramps again and her s feel so sore.

“Kyu, I can’t open the door”

Sungmin whispers. She doesn’t have much energy to speak loudly. Kyuhyun stops knocking and calls downstairs to ask the head maid for the duplicate key of the bathroom in his room. The head maid quickly goes upstairs and gives Kyuhyun the duplicate key. Kyuhyun smiles at her, assuring her that everything is fine because the head maid might inform his mother and cousin that he asks for the duplicate key of the bathroom and Kyuhyun is afraid that his mother and cousin will suddenly panic and he doesn’t want that to happen. Kyuhyun closes the door of his room as soon as the head maid leaves. He quickly runs towards the bathroom and opens it using the duplicate key.

“Baby…”

Kyuhyun went inside and saw his wife sitting on the floor while resting her head on the bathtub.

“MIN!”

Kyuhyun runs towards his wife to check her. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between his hands. His wife looks pale.

“What happen to you?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. He carries Sungmin on his arms and went out of the bathroom. He uses his foot to close the door. Kyuhyun walks towards their bed and carefully puts down his wife on the soft mattress. He puts two pillows on Sungmin’s back and under her knees and feet.

“Baby, are you ok? Should I call Doctor Park or do I need to bring you at the hospital?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly, holding Sungmin’s hand.

“Kyu”

“Yes baby? Are you hurt?”

Kyuhyun asks and starts checking his wife. Sungmin shook her head.

“Please hug me”

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun moves closer to his wife and hugs her. Sungmin rests her head on Kyuhyun’s chest.

“Let’s stay like this for the meantime until I recover my strength”

Sungmin whispers. Kyuhyun nods his head.

“Tell me what’s wrong baby”

Kyuhyun told his wife, still feeling worried about her. He starts Sungmin’s hair.

“I’m fine. It’s just that I’m having a hard time because of my morning sickness. It’s really bad Kyu. I’m feeling really dizzy and weak because of it. It’s hard to throw up and I’m having cramps again and my body is aching, even my s are aching. I think our little cherub is not behaving today”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she places her hand on her tummy, touching it gently.

“I never knew that being pregnant is really hard. I thought I will just carry a baby in my tummy for nine months. I didn’t know that I need to undergo hard things like this”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun.

“I’m sorry”

Kyuhyun whispers worriedly.

“Why are you saying sorry? You’re sorry because you impregnate me? We want to have a baby, right? So why are you being sorry all of a sudden?”

Sungmin asks sadly. Kyuhyun kisses his wife’s forehead.

“Sorry because I can’t do anything to ease the pain that you’re feeling”

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin slowly shook her head.

“That’s not true. Hugging me like this and knowing that you’re here with me is just fine with me. I’m just having a hard time because of my morning sickness. But you don’t need to worry because I’ll be fine later when I finally regain my strength”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she flashes a smile though she’s still feeling weak.

“You’re not yet greeting our little cherub a good morning”

Sungmin told her husband.

“Oh yes! I forgot”

Kyuhyun told his wife. He rests his head on Sungmin’s lap, facing his wife’s tummy. Kyuhyun puts his hands on his wife’s tummy, carefully touching it.

“Good morning our little cherub. How are you today? It seems that you’re not behaving inside mommy’s tummy. You need to be a good baby and don’t give mommy a hard time ok. We’re very happy to know that you’re already inside mommy’s womb and we’re really excited to see you soon. We just need to wait for eight more months, so please stay healthy inside and be good. Don’t worry because daddy will always take good care of you and mommy, so both of you will be healthy”

Kyuhyun told his baby inside his wife’s tummy. Sungmin smiles when Kyuhyun starts rubbing her tummy gently.

“I hope your tummy will grow fast soon, so I can already feel our little cherub moving inside”

Kyuhyun told his wife while gently rubbing her tummy. Sungmin starts Kyuhyun’s hair happily.

“Kyu, are you happy?”

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun nods his head happily.

“Very happy and excited baby. My birthday wishes are starting to come true little by little”

Kyuhyun told his wife happily. Sungmin smiles sweetly and continues Kyuhyun’s hair happily.

“Kyu, I’m hungry now. Can we already eat our breakfast now?”

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun gets up and sits on their bed.

“I’m going to call the chef to bring our breakfast here”

Kyuhyun told his wife, but Sungmin shook her head.

“I don’t want to have breakfast on bed. Let’s go downstairs and join mom and Jessica Unnie in breakfast”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun.

“But baby…”

“Kyu, I’m already fine. I can already go down and eat my breakfast. Did you cook the same food for me, just like what I eat yesterday night?”

Sungmin asks happily. Kyuhyun smiles and nods his head.

“Yes baby. I made your favorite food”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, making her clap her hands happily.

“You heard that little cherub. Daddy cooks our favorite food. Let’s go down now and eat our breakfast ok”

Sungmin told her baby as she happily rubs her tummy.

“Are you sure that you don’t want to eat here? I’m just worried about you because you told me that you’re having a hard time and you’re feeling weak and dizzy”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, feeling concern about her. Sungmin smiles at him and reaches her hand out. Kyuhyun holds it and softly kisses it.

“Don’t worry about me Kyu. I’m fine now. I told you that I just need to regain my strength and I’ll be fine again. Let’s go down now and eat ok”

“Ok. If that’s what you want then we’re going to eat downstairs and join mom and Jess in breakfast. Let’s go now”

Kyuhyun told his wife. He gets off of the bed. He holds Sungmin’s hands and helps her to stand up.

“Careful baby”

Kyuhyun told his wife, helping Sungmin to get off of their bed. He slowly sits on his heels and gets Sungmin’s bedroom slippers and puts it on his wife’s feet before standing up.

“Can you walk or should I carry you?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin smiles at him.

“I’ll walk with you”

“Ok”

Kyuhyun holds his wife’s hand as they start walking. Kyuhyun was guiding Sungmin’s every step, making sure that she will be fine and won’t fall down. They leave their room and use the elevator to go downstairs. Kyuhyun presses the first floor button. The elevator door starts to close slowly.

“Kyu, why do we need to use the elevator and not the stairs?”

Sungmin asks as she feels the elevator going down.

“From now on, you’re no longer going to use the stairs. You will use the elevator whenever you’re going up and down. I don’t want you to take the stairs anymore, so you won’t tire yourself and just to make sure that you’re fine because you might slip on the stairs and fall down and if that happens, you and our little cherub will be in danger. You must take good care of yourself whenever I’m not around”

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin nods her head cutely. The elevator stop as it arrives at the first floor. The door slowly opens.

“We’re here now”

Kyuhyun told his wife. He holds Sungmin’s hand as they went out of the elevator. The helpers who are cleaning at the first floor all bow at them and greet them with a bright smile. Kyuhyun smiles at them and went at the dining room with his beautiful wife.

“We’re here now”

Kyuhyun told Mrs. Cho and Jessica happily.

“Good morning mom and Jessica Unnie”

Sungmin happily greets her mother in law and cousin in law as she and Kyuhyun carefully walks towards her chair.

“Good morning Min!”

“Good morning sweetheart!”

Jessica and Mrs. Cho greet Sungmin with a bright smile on their lips. Kyuhyun pulls the chair of his wife and helps her to sit down.

“Are you ok?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods.

“Do you want anything?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin shook her head. Kyuhyun gets the cold pitcher of fresh orange juice and carefully pours some in Sungmin’s glass. Kyuhyun gets the table napkin on the table and puts it on Sungmin’s lap and gives her the fork for her pasta.

“You can eat now or do you want me to feed you?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin shook her head.

“I can eat Kyu. You take your seat now and eat your breakfast”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun with a smile on her lips. Kyuhyun nods and sit down on the empty chair beside Sungmin.

“Sweetheart. how’s your sleep?”

Mrs. Cho asks.

“My sleep is fine mom because Kyu is there for me. I just have a hard time…just a little because I keep on waking up to pee. But I fall asleep peacefully”

Sungmin told her mother in law before eating her breakfast happily.

“How are you right now? Did you have a hard time with your morning sickness?”

Mrs. Cho asks before taking a sip on her orange juice. Sungmin nods her head while carefully chewing her food. She finishes eating the food that was inside before speaking.

“I just have a hard time awhile ago mom because my morning sickness is really bad. It’s hard to throw up and I feel so dizzy and weak. I have cramps and I feel little pains in my body. But I’m fine now. I still feel sleepy, but I’m also hungry. Maybe I can sleep later after I take a bath. Is that ok?”

Sungmin asks. Mrs. Cho nods her head.

“Of course sweetheart. You need to have a lot of rest for the baby. Just sleep whenever you’re feeling sleepy”

Mrs. Cho told her daughter in law. Sungmin nods happily and continues eating her breakfast happily. Jessica watches her cousin in law eating the super bitter pasta that Kyuhyun cook for her. Jessica was wondering if Sungmin can taste it’s bitterness.

“Min, is your breakfast delicious?”

Jessica asks curiously. Sungmin nods happily.

“But it’s very bitter you know”

Sungmin nods.

“But it’s very delicious for me. My little cherub and I love it very much. Do you want some Unnie?”

Sungmin asks, offering some to her cousin in law. Kyuhyun bites his lower lip to control his laughter while staring at his cousin who keeps on shaking her head.

“No thanks Min. It’s for you. You should eat it all. Let’s watch our favorite drama later while eating cherry ice cream ok”

Jessica told Sungmin who shook her head.

“I don’t want cherry ice cream. I want watermelon shake and peaches with whip cream. It should be frozen”

Sungmin told Jessica.

“Ok. I’ll make one for you later”

Jessica happily told Sungmin.

“I don’t want Unnie. I want Kyu to do it for me. I only want Kyu to prepare all the food that I want to eat”

Sungmin told Jessica, rejecting her offer.

“But I need to leave early baby for work and I don’t know how to do your request”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, making her frown.

“Then ask the chefs to teach you. You can do it before you go to work. I’m going to hate you if you will not do it for me”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as her mood changes so quickly.

“I don’t want to eat anymore”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun. She wipes her lips with the table napkin.

“I’m going up now. Please excuse me mom and Jessica Unnie”

Sungmin told them as she tries to stand up. Kyuhyun quickly stand up and holds Sungmin’s hands to help her stand, but she pushes him away.

“Don’t touch me! I hate you!”

Sungmin told her husband. Mrs. Cho stands up and helps her daughter in law to stand.

“Are you going in your room now?”

Mrs. Cho asks. Sungmin nods her head.

“Mom, I hate Kyu”

Sungmin told her mother in law. Jessica bites her lower lip to avoid herself from laughing as she stares at Kyuhyun’s blank expression.

“Yah! I’m not doing anything. Why do you hate me all of a sudden?”

Kyuhyun asks.

“That’s because I hate you now. Don’t talk to me ok. Just go to work and don’t mind your wife. I hate you”

Sungmin told her husband as tears start forming in her eyes because of anger.

“Let’s go now. I’ll just ask your nanny to bring your breakfast upstairs, so you can eat in your room ok”

“Ok”

Mrs. Cho holds Sungmin’s hand as they start walking carefully. She asks Sungmin’s nanny to bring her daughter in law’s breakfast in Kyuhyun’s room before she leaves the dining room with Sungmin.

“Aish! What is wrong with that girl? Why does she hate me all of a sudden? I’m not doing anything”

Kyuhyun asks Jessica worriedly while ruffling his hair irritatingly.

“I think she gets mad at you when you told her that you need to leave early for work and that you don’t know how to do her request”

Jessica told her cousin.

“But I didn’t say that I will not do it. If that’s what she wants then I’m going to ask the chefs to help me do her watermelon shakes and freeze peaches right now and put whip cream on it. She doesn’t need to hate me”

Kyuhyun told Jessica.

“Maybe she misunderstood it. Just lure her later. She’s just having her mood swing again because she’s pregnant. Min starts being sensitive since she becomes pregnant and you should understand it. Just go back to your seat and continue eating before you do her request. I’m sure that Min will be fine and she won’t hate you the whole day. Just let her cool her head down and her mood will change again. I’m sure that she’ll be in good mood again later”

Jessica told Kyuhyun, cheering him up.

“Aish! Now I’m already having a hard time”

Kyuhyun told his self. He sighs sadly and just go back to his seat and continues eating his breakfast, still worrying about his wife’s mood swing.

Kyuhyun went out of the bathroom, wearing his corporate attire. He stares at his pregnant wife who is sitting on their bed quietly. Sungmin is watching a drama. She’s just waiting for Jessica to go upstairs because she’s still busy preparing snacks for them. Kyuhyun takes a deep breath and walks towards his bed. He sits beside Sungmin.

“Baby, I’m going to work now”

Kyuhyun told his wife, hoping that Sungmin will already talk to him. But Sungmin ignores him. She didn’t even answer or speak.

“Min…”

Kyuhyun sighs sadly.

“I’m sorry. I really need to work today because I have a lot of things to do and I have a lot of meetings ok. I’ll just make it up to you when I’m free. I already made your watermelon shake and frozen peach with whip cream awhile ago before I take a bath. Jess is preparing it for you now”

Kyuhyun told his wife.

“Kyu…”

“Hmmm?”

Sungmin reaches her hands out. Kyuhyun holds it.

“Why?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin smiles at him.

“I want to sit on your lap”

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun helps her to sit on his lap. Sungmin happily wraps her arms around her husband’s neck. Kyuhyun stares at his beautiful wife who keeps on smiling.

“What does my baby want? Am I already forgiven? You don’t hate me anymore?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin shook her head.

“And what is that supposed to mean?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin starts brushing her fingers on Kyuhyun’s soft pinkish lips while biting her lower lip, seducing her husband in her own simple way. Kyuhyun understand what his wife means by her simple gesture.

“Baby…”

Kyuhyun shook his head. He holds Sungmin’s hand for her to stop brushing her fingers on his soft pinkish lips.

“I’m sorry, but we can’t do it today ok”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin before planting soft kisses on her fingers.

“Why not? Are we not allowed to do it because I’m already pregnant?”

Sungmin asks, still trying to seduce her husband with her innocence. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between his hands and kisses her lips softly, but he quickly pulls back before Sungmin kiss him back.

“Kyu…”

Sungmin leans her face forward to kiss Kyuhyun, but he stops her.

“Why are you being naughty? Are you just seducing me, so I won’t be able to go to work today?”

Kyuhyun asks while raising an eyebrow. Sungmin shook her head.

“I want you. Why don’t you want to make love to me?”

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun was shock when Sungmin starts ing her blue v-neck blouse. Kyuhyun quickly holds Sungmin’s hands to stop her from what she’s doing.

“What are you doing?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin smiles at her husband—smile that is seductive, but still innocent.

“I’m taking off my clothes because we’re going to make love. I’m making it easy for you”

Sungmin told her husband, trying to pull her hands away from Kyuhyun’s grip, but Kyuhyun won’t let it go.

“Yah! Honestly, I don’t understand your mood. You’re being happy, grumpy and now you’re being ert? Why are you like that?”

Kyuhyun asks.

“That’s because I want you. Am I not allowed to ask for it? Why? Don’t you want to make love to me? Was it because I’m already pregnant and you don’t find me attractive and y anymore?”

Sungmin asks, feeling upset. She doesn’t know why, but she really wants to make love to her husband at that time.

“Was it bad to be naughty sometimes?”

Sungmin asks.

“It’s not like that baby…”

Kyuhyun gently pulls his wife closer to him and captures her lips. Sungmin slowly opens to respond to the kiss. Kyuhyun slowly laid his wife on their bed, without breaking the kiss. He slowly pulls back and stares at Sungmin.

“Why did you stop?”

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun starts buttoning Sungmin’s blouse before getting off of her.

“I’m sorry baby, but I really need to go to work today”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, making her feel upset and sad. She thinks that her husband doesn’t love her anymore and she doesn’t want them to have intimate time anymore because she’s already pregnant.

“You don’t love me”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she slowly gets up and sits on their bed.

“What? What are you talking about? Where on earth did you get that idea? It’s just because I reject you? Is that it?”

Kyuhyun asks, controlling his temper.

“You just don’t find me attractive anymore, that’s why you’re like that”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun with teary eyes.

“Yah! I told you that I need to work today. Was it hard to understand? I don’t understand why you’re being all of a sudden! Stop using your pregnancy just to get what you want”

“But I’m not using the baby to get what I want. Am I not allowed to ask for it? I’m your wife”

“I know”

Kyuhyun nods.

“But this is not the right time for love making because I need to go to work”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin.

“Fine. Just leave now. Don’t talk to me. I hate you so much!”

“Min, please. I don’t want to go to work and leave like this. I mean, come on. Let’s not fight anymore. We can always have time for love making, but not now ok”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, trying to explain so that his wife will understand.

“Just leave now. I hate you. You just don’t love me anymore. No need to reason out”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun, holding back her tears. Kyuhyun sighs heavily.

“Fine. Think whatever you want to think. I’m already tired of dealing with a very childish girl like you!”

Kyuhyun told his wife angrily. He gets his car key on top of the bedside table and gets his backpack on the lounger. He wears it and walks angrily towards the door. He was about to open it when someone opens it; it was Jessica with his wife’s nanny who is holding a large tray full of food for Sungmin and Jessica.

“Hi Kyu, are you—“

Jessica stops talking upon noticing her cousin’s angry expression. Sungmin’s nanny bows at him before going inside the room to bring the tray.

“Is there something wrong?”

Jessica asks. Kyuhyun didn’t answer. He just walks away without saying anything. Jessica sighs and went inside the room. Sungmin’s nanny bows at her before leaving the room.

“Sweetheart…”

Jessica sits beside Sungmin who is already eating her frozen peaches with whip cream.

“Did you and Kyu fought?”

Jessica asks while staring at her cousin in law’s sad expression. Sungmin nods her head.

“I hate him because he doesn’t love me anymore”

Sungmin told Jessica, controlling her tears from falling.

“What?”

Jessica asks, but Sungmin didn’t answer her.

“Ok. I won’t ask anymore. Let’s just watch our favorite dramas and let’s not talk about it ok. Just eat a lot and don’t stress yourself that much. It will be bad for the baby”

Jessica told Sungmin who nods her head.

“And by the way, you will go with me and aunt later after lunch. We’re going at Ms. Song’s boutique because we’re going to look for cocktail dresses for the three of us”

Jessica told Sungmin happily before eating her cherry ice cream.

“What for?”

Sungmin asks.

“We’re going to attend a party later at seven in the evening”

Jessica happily informs Sungmin.

“Is Kyu will be there as well?”

Sungmin asks. Jessica nods her head happily.

“Yes sweetheart”

“Then I won’t go with you and mom. I don’t want to see him because I hate him”

Sungmin told Jessica, still mad at her husband.

“But sweetheart…”

“I’m sorry, but I’m not really going”

Sungmin told Jessica who just sighs. She just continues eating her cherry ice cream quietly while watching drama with Sungmin, thinking that she and Mrs. Cho will have a hard time convincing Sungmin later to go with them.

Joon was sitting inside his office in his condominium. He was busy reviewing his patients’ medical records while doing his research for Sungmin’s illness when he heard his mobile phone ringing. Joon gets his mobile phone on top of his desk and stares at the caller’s name; it was his little sister.

“Yes Sunny. What can I do for you?”

Joon asks as he answers the call. Soon-kyu smiles upon hearing her older brother’s voice.

“Oppa, are you busy? Can I disturb you for awhile?”

Soon-kyu asks happily. Joon removes his glasses and puts it down on his desk. He stands up and comfortably rest on the lounger.

“I’m busy. I’m reviewing a lot of medical records of my patients and I’m studying Sungmin-shi’s case. You sound so happy today. What happen?”

Joon asks his sister before closing his eyes to rest it for awhile. His eyes are already tired because of reading a lot and staring at the monitor of his laptop, doing his research for Sungmin’s illness.

“Sorry to disturb you. But I really need to tell you something and that’s the reason why I’m happy”

Soon-kyu told her older brother. Joon just nods his head.

“Oppa, are you ready to hear my news for you?”

Soon-kyu asks. Joon nods his head again.

“Just speak now ok. I don’t have much time to talk to you. I need to end this call later. Tell me what makes you happy this time”

Joon told his sister. Soon-kyu smiles brightly before speaking.

“That’s because I got the chance to talk with Jess Unnie and I discover that she’s still single!”

Soon-kyu told Joon while giggling happily. Joon didn’t react. He’s still absorbing what his little sister just told him that Jessica is still single.

“Yeoboseo…Oppa, are you still there?”

Soon-kyu asks when Joon didn’t even speak or react about her good news for him. Joon sighs.

“That’s it?”

Joon asks. Soon-kyu frowns.

“Are you not happy about it Oppa?”

Soon-kyu asks.

“Why will I be happy about it? So what if my ex-girlfriend is still single? She doesn’t give a damn care about me”

Joon told his little sister with a hint of bitterness in his voice. Soon-kyu sighs sadly.

“Oppa, it’s been long years ok. Why can’t you—“

“Sunny honey, if you just call me to talk about my past with Jess then you’re free to hang up now. I’m busy ok. I have a lot of things to do, so don’t bother me about her. Let me clear everything to you. I agree to handle Sungmin-shi’s case because I want her to have her eyesight and not because she’s Jessica’s cousin in law”

Joon told his sister.

“I need Kyuhyun-shi’s number. Send it to me, so I can contact him whenever I need to”

Joon told his sister before hanging up.

“Honestly, why am I still bitter about it? Well, that’s her choice not mine. It’s just that…”

Joon sighs heavily and slowly opens his eyes.

“Never mind. Why will I think about her? I still have a lot of things to do”

Joon told his self. He takes a deep breath before standing up. He returns to his chair, wears his glasses and starts working again.

Kyuhyun was driving his car quietly. He was on his way to his company after going at his wife’s university to talk to the Dean of College of Journalism to inform him about the current situation of Sungmin and to apply his wife to a home base study for her to be able to finish the school year before they fly in Sydney for her eye surgery.

“You have a call from unknown caller”

Kyuhyun heard his mobile phone ringing. He stops his car at the corner and stares at the unknown number.

“The number is from Sydney, Australia. I wonder who it is. Maybe one of the employees in our company there”

Kyuhyun told his self. He presses the answer button on the steering wheel to answer the call.

“Good afternoon, Cho Kyuhyun speaking. How may I help you?”

Kyuhyun answers the call, speaking in English since the number is from Sydney, Australia.

“Good afternoon Sir. This is Doctor Lee Joon from Sydney Eye Hospital. My sister, Lee Soon-kyu passes me the case of your wife. I got your number from her”

Joon told Kyuhyun.

“Oh! Good afternoon doctor. What can I do for you?”

Kyuhyun asks.

“Does my sister already inform you that I’ll be going in Seoul next week with two of the doctors in my team to see you and your wife?”

Joon asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

“Well, she didn’t inform us. She informs my cousin, Ms. Jessica Jung and she’s the one who rely the good news to us”

Kyuhyun told Joon, emphasizing Jessica’s name. Joon just nods his head.

“That’s good. I hope to set an appointment with you and your wife in my sister’s clinic next week, Saturday at ten in the morning. Will that be ok with you?”

Joon asks. Kyuhyun nods his head. He’s just thinking to cancel all his appointment on Saturday because his wife’s eye surgery is more important than his work.

“Ok. No problem about that. But can we meet earlier than that. I mean, I’m going to bring my wife’s OB with me and introduce her to you. You see Doctor Lee. My wife is actually pregnant. She’s already on her third week”

Kyuhyun informs Joon.

“Oh!”

Joon nods his head.

“Ok. It’s good that you inform me about it. Let’s just put it this way. I’ll just meet you and your wife’s OB at Coffee Lab at eight in the morning, if that’s ok with you”

Joon told Kyuhyun.

“It’s fine with me. But I need to call Doctor Park first and tell her about it. I’ll just give you a call to inform you about it”

“Ok. No problem. I’ll just check your wife in your house, so it won’t be hassle for her since she’s pregnant. I just need to see her and perform some blood test. It’s just a simple test that can be done at home”

Joon told Kyuhyun who nods his head.

“No problem about that Doctor Lee. Anyway, how’s the status of my wife’s condition? Will she be able to see?”

Kyuhyun asks, hoping that he will hear good news from Joon.

“To tell you the truth Mr. Cho, LCA has no cure. But due to the modern technologies nowadays, we can find solution for it. But the treatment depends on what type of LCA your wife has because some LCAs are really not possible to be cured while others can be cured”

Joon informs Kyuhyun.

“What type of LCA does my wife has?”

Kyuhyun asks nervously. Joon shook his head.

“That’s the thing that I don’t know Sir and that’s the reason why I, Doctor Bang and Doctor Jung are flying in Seoul next week to see your wife and check on her. The medical documents that my sister gave me are not complete. She forgot to test the type of LCA your wife has. We’re going to test it through blood”

Joon told Kyuhyun.

“And after that, what will happen?”

Kyuhyun asks.

“If we determine that the LCA is curable and the LCA has a possible solution then we will already plan the surgery. We’re going to talk further about it when we meet next week and when we finally know the type of LCA your wife has. Let’s just hope that it will be RPE65 or RPGRIP1 because there is 50% chance that your wife will be able to see if her LCA is either of the two”

Joon explains to Kyuhyun.

“But if not?”

Kyuhyun asks sadly. Joon takes a deep breath.

“We’re going to pass the case to different doctors to consider another option. Don’t worry Mr. Cho. I’m not going to give up on your wife. I and my team are studying it very well. If I need to attend different Doctor’s Conference, I’ll do it, just for us to be able to give your wife eyesight”

Joon told Kyuhyun.

“Thank you so much doctor. I really want my wife to see soon and I don’t want her to live in darkness forever. Now that we’re going to have our baby soon, I want her to see our baby”

Kyuhyun told Joon who nods his head.

“We’re going to do everything for her to have eyesight. That’s a promise Sir. Just give me a call if you need to and if you already finalize the time and place of our meeting on Saturday next week”

“Ok. No problem Doctor Lee. I’ll just give you a call and inform you about it. Thank you so much and see you on Saturday next week”

Kyuhyun told Joon before pressing the end call button on the steering wheel to hang up.

“I know that there’s still hope for Min and Doctor Lee Joon will be the one who will help her have her eyesight”

Kyuhyun told his self. His hope about Sungmin having her eyesight soon is becoming strong now that he already talked with Joon.

“He seems to be a nice person. I wonder why Jess and he broke up”

Kyuhyun told his self. He takes a deep breath and starts driving his car again.

Seungri went inside the student council’s office after his class. He goes there for two reasons. First, he will eat lunch together with his friends and second, he will ask them about Sungmin.

“Can I come in? Are you guys having a meeting?”

Seungri asks his friends while staring at their sad yet serious face.

“Please come in. We’re not having a meeting. We’re just talking about Minnie”

Heechul told Seungri.

“I also want to ask about her”

Seungri told Heechul. He goes inside and gently closes the door and sits beside Donghae.

“Do you know the reason why she needs to stop going to school and just study at home?”

Seungri asks Donghae.

“I just heard about it from our Professor in our first subject today. I was surprised to hear about it. He informs our class that Minnie will no longer go to school and will just continue studying at home”

Seungri told Donghae, but he shook his head because he doesn’t know the reason about it as well.

“I also don’t know Seungri. Our Dean just gather all of us here awhile ago and told us that Kyuhyun Hyung went here in our school awhile ago to talk to him and tell him that from now on, Minnie won’t go to school anymore and she will just have a home study”

Donghae told Seungri.

“And Dean didn’t even told us the reason why”

Zhoumi told Seungri.

“I’m going to miss her so much. She won’t be able to join the European Trip as well. Kyuhyun Oppa didn’t allow her to go. I wonder why she needs to stop going to school. It’s so urgent you know. Do you think it’s about her eye condition?”

Ryeowook asks them worriedly. Youngwoon nods his head, agreeing to her.

“Possible. That’s the only reason that I can think why Minnie needs to stop going to school and just have a home study. Kyuhyun Hyung will not just decide without any serious reason. I mean, Minnie told us that her husband wants her to learn to socialize with people, so she won’t be afraid with them anymore and that’s the reason why Hyung send her to school”

Youngwoon told them.

“I already miss my baby Juliet. My day will be gloomy every day because I won’t be able to see her often anymore”

Hyuk Jae told them sadly as she rests her chin on her desk. Seungri also feels the same way as Hyuk Jae. He was sad because he wouldn’t be able to see Sungmin more often and he wouldn’t be able to be with her and take care of her and somehow show his love for her because Sungmin will no longer go to school and will just continue studying at home. Seungri and Sungmin’s friends are all sad because of the news about Sungmin.

“Don’t be sad guys. Well, I know that it’s really sad news because we won’t be able to see Minnie more often and we won’t be able to spend some time with her. But we can always visit her at home whenever we have free time”

Heechul told her friends to cheer them up. Hyuk Jae happily snaps her fingers.

“Perfect! Maybe we can go later after our dismissal. What do you think guys?”

Hyuk Jae told them. Heechul shook her head.

“We need to call first to ask for an appointment. We can just go there without informing them. Surprise visit is not allowed”

Heechul told Hyuk Jae.

“But we’re my baby Juliet’s friends”

Hyuk Jae told Heechul while pouting at her. Heechul nods.

“I know. But we need to do the right process even though we’re Minnie’s friends. You know that Kyu Oppa came from a very prestige family. The guards won’t let us in if we will not set an appointment with Minnie even though we’re her friends”

Heechul explains. Setting an appointment before visiting is one of the policies at the Cho mansion. Mr. Cho set that rule because he doesn’t want to see Kyuhyun’s arrogant friends setting their feet in the mansion and to avoid Kyuhyun from bringing them in the mansion and that’s why Mr. Cho set that kind of rule and they didn’t change it anymore even though Kyuhyun already become a good boy. Mrs. Cho decided to keep that rule to avoid danger because she remembers the bad incident that happens to her husband that causes the death of Sungmin’s father.

“I’m going to call now and ask for an appointment”

Heechul told them. She gets her mobile phone inside her handbag and was about to call the Cho mansion when someone knocks on the door. Zhoumi stands up to open the door and see who their visitor is.

“Hi Ms. Jung! What brought you here?”

Zhoumi asks as she let Nicole to go inside the office. Youngwoon gets a chair and puts it down beside Ryeowook.

“Please have a seat Ms. Jung”

Youngwoon told Nicole.

“Thank you so much Youngwoon, but I’m not going to stay here longer”

Nicole told them. Zhoumi closes the door and goes back to her seat. They all focus their attention on Nicole who is smiling brightly at them.

“I’m here to invite all of you later at seven in the evening. Sir was the one who arrange this party and he wants all of you to be part of it”

Nicole told Sungmin’s friends. She gets the invitations for Sungmin’s friends inside her tote bag and distribute it to them.

“What’s with the party Ms. Jung?”

Donghae asks as he reads the invitation.

“Why is my baby Juliet not going to school anymore?”

Hyuk Jae asks Nicole.

“You must attend the party for you to know”

Nicole answers Hyuk Jae.

‘So, it’s not something serious? It’s not like my baby Juliet is very ill?”

Hyuk Jae asks. Nicole nods at her, making them all sigh in relief.

“Thank goodness. We really thought that something really serious and bad happen to Minnie and that’s why Kyuhyun Oppa decided to stop her from going to school”

Zhoumi told Nicole.

“Ma’am is fine. She’s staying at home right now and she will start her home study next week. There’s nothing to worry about because she’s fine. Sir just has his own reason why he needs to stop his wife from going to school and let her continue her studies at home. I’m sorry because I can’t tell anything as of now because Sir told me not to speak about it. Just attend the party for you to find out about it. But Ma’am is fine. I assure all of you”

Nicole told them while smiling.

“It’s actually a surprise party for Ma’am, so please don’t tell her later when you arrive at the venue”

“When can we visit Minnie?”

Seungri asks. Nicole shook her head.

“I don’t know. Maybe you can ask Sir later because from what I heard, they will be flying in Sydney and will stay there for a long time. It’s for Ma’am eye surgery. I just don’t know when the exact date of their flight is”

Nicole informs Sungmin’s friends, making them feel sad, especially Seungri because he will be far away from Sungmin if that happens.

“They are just waiting for the eye doctor who will fly here in Seoul next week. They will talk about the eye surgery of Ma’am which will took place in Sydney, Australia”

Nicole told them.

“Are they going to stay there forever?”

Hyuk Jae asks sadly. Nicole shook her head.

“I don’t know. It depends on Sir. It can be possible, but I doubt it”

Nicole told them and claps her hands.

“So, see you guys later. Please be there later and celebrate with Ma’am and Sir. I need to go now. I just go here to bring the invitations and to talk personally to Chullie”

Nicole told them as she stares at Heechul.

“Can I talk to you for awhile?”

Nicole asks. Heechul nods her head. She stands up and went out of the office with Nicole.

“Is there something wrong?”

Heechul asks Nicole as she closes the door of the office. Nicole shook her head and drags Heechul at the corner.

“I just need to give something to you. Sir wants me to give it to you”

Nicole told Heechul. She gets a small white envelope inside her tote bag and gives it to Heechul.

“It’s for Seungri. It’s his allowance for the European tour next month. Sir told me to tell you to give it to the kid and tell him that it’s from the charity because Seungri might not accept it if he finds out that the money came from Sir himself. Just give it to him ok”

Nicole told Heechul.

“Ok. No problem Ms. Jung. Anyway…”

Heechul clears before continuing.

“Is the party all about Minnie going in Sydney? She will bid goodbye to all of us because she needs to migrate in Sydney?”

Heechul asks curiously. Nicole takes a deep breath and shook her head.

“It’s a secret. Sir was the one who told me not to tell all of you about it because it’s a surprise. But since you’re very close with Ma’am, I’m going to tell it to you. But please don’t blab about it yet ok”

“Ok. Promise”

Heechul smiles at Nicole, feeling excited to hear the news.

“Actually, Ma’am is pregnant. Three weeks to be exact”

Nicole told Heechul, making her jump because of happiness. She even covers to prevent herself from shouting because of happiness. Nicole smiles at Heechul.

“Sir wants to announce it to the whole world and that’s why he throws a simple celebration later at seven in the evening. That’s the reason why Ma’am needs to stop going to school and study at home because her OB advice her, so she won’t have a hard time. It’s for the baby, that’s why”

Nicole explains everything to Heechul.

“I’m so happy for Minnie and Kyu Oppa”

Heechul told Nicole, hugging her tight.

“All of us are really happy for them. Sir is really excited and very happy about it”

“Thank you for telling me Ms. Jung”

“Keep it as a secret first”

Heechul looks at Nicole and nods her head happily.

“Don’t worry Ms. Jung. My lips are sealed”

Heechul told Nicole.

“So, I need to go now. I still need to at Conrad Hotels and Resorts and check if everything is ready for the party later. Sir has a lot of instructions and I need to do all of it”

“Ok. Thanks for dropping by. We will all be there later to celebrate with Minnie and Kyu Oppa. Drive safely Ms. Jung”

Heechul told Nicole. She waves her hand happily and return inside the student council office to give the money to Seungri and eat lunch with them.

*CHO INTERNATIONAL GROUP OF COMPANIES*

It was already five thirty in the afternoon when Kyuhyun returns inside his office with Onew. He just finished a lot of meetings and it’s time for him to work on some paper works before he drives at Conrad Hotels and Resorts for the party for his wife’s pregnancy. Kyuhyun sits on his chair, feeling very tired. Onew puts down piles of documents on top of his boss’ desk. He stares at Kyuhyun who is already focusing on his laptop, working again.

“Sir, you supposed to be preparing for the party later at seven. You can just continue working tomorrow”

Onew told his boss. Kyuhyun shook his head. He gets one folder on his desk and starts reading the documents inside it.

“I’m not going to work tomorrow. I just plan to stay home and spend my time with my wife. I told her that I’m going to make it up to her, so she won’t hate me anymore. If I didn’t finish all of these then I’ll just bring it at home and continue working there after putting Min to sleep”

Kyuhyun told his secretary.

“But you already look so tired and sleepy”

Onew told Kyuhyun, worrying about his boss. Kyuhyun didn’t stop from working ever since he arrives at Cho International Group of Companies. He keeps on doing paper works, reviewing business reports and proposals and attending important meetings. Kyuhyun is not yet having a break and he’s not yet eating his lunch because of being too busy and Onew worries about his boss.

“Don’t worry about me. I’m fine and I’m used to it”

Kyuhyun told Onew before staring at him.

“Do you have any idea on how to lure your pregnant wife?”

Kyuhyun asks his secretary. Onew shook his head.

“I’m not yet married Sir. Why? Did you and Ms. Cho fight?”

Onew asks curiously. Kyuhyun nods his head.

“My wife hates me and she’s mad at me. She doesn’t even want to talk to me when I call her awhile ago. She gets mad at me because I need to go to work and I didn’t give her what she wants awhile ago. She thinks that I don’t love her anymore and I don’t find her beautiful and attractive anymore since she’s already pregnant”

Kyuhyun told Onew sadly.

“I need to go to work and that’s why I need to leave her and reject her, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t love her anymore. She’s just being too childish lately and very brat and very moody. Her mood always change so fast and I bet she’s just using her pregnancy to get what she wants and it irritates me sometimes”

Kyuhyun told Onew, sharing his dilemma with him.

“Sir, Ms. Cho is pregnant and it’s natural for her to act like that. You just need to understand her. If she wants your time then give it to her. If you can’t give all of it then at least gives some to her. She also needs you and work can always wait. I know how busy you are, but there’s always time for having a quality time with your wife. Don’t ever think that Ms. Cho is using her pregnancy just to get what she wants…”

Onew shook his head.

“It’s hard to be pregnant, they say. Of course we will not know because we will never experience it.  Maybe Ms. Cho is feeling something strange and she just wants you to be there for her, so she will feel fine. You’re being too busy Sir and maybe that’s the reason why Ms. Cho is thinking that you don’t love her anymore. Just try to understand as much as she understands you for being busy always”

Onew told his boss. Kyuhyun nods his head.

“Before you leave and go at Conrad Hotels and Resorts, please cancel all my appointments first on Saturday next week. I need to meet Doctor Lee Joon. He’s the doctor who will perform the eye surgery on Min. We’re going to talk about important matter for my wife’s eye surgery in Sydney. Maybe you can move my appointments for Saturday ahead or Monday, but not Sunday ok”

Kyuhyun told his secretary.

“Yes Sir. I’ll just inform you about it. I already talk to Doctor Park awhile ago and she told me that she’s available on Saturday next week at nine in the morning until twelve noon only and your mom called awhile ago. She’s already at the venue with Nicole. They are checking if everything is ready for the party later at seven. Ms. Cho will be there with Ms. Jung”

Onew informs Kyuhyun.

“Ok. I’ll just call Doctor Park and Doctor Lee later before I go at Conrad Hotels and Resorts. I’ll be leaving at six in the evening”

“Is there anything else Sir?”

Onew asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

“You can leave now. Thank you”

Kyuhyun told his secretary and starts working again. Onew bows his head and walks towards the door.

“Onew!”

Kyuhyun calls his secretary before he can go out.

‘Yes Sir?”

Onew asks.

“Before I forgot, please call Le Fleur and order a beautiful bouquet for my wife”

Kyuhyun told Onew as he smiles at him. Onew nods his head.

“No problem Sir”

Onew bows at Kyuhyun before leaving his office.

Kyuhyun was talking happily with some of his business partners when Sungmin arrives at the grand ballroom with Jessica. Sungmin is wearing a simple navy lace dress with illusion neckline and fuchsia flat sandals. She looks beautiful and cute at the same time. Kyuhyun excuses his self to approach his wife and his cousin.

“Hi baby. Come. Mom is already waiting for you and Jess”

Kyuhyun happily told his wife. He holds Sungmin’s hand, but she quickly pulls it away from his grip.

“Don’t touch me. We’re still not ok. I still hate you”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun with a bit of anger in her voice. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin sadly.

“But baby…”

“I said I hate you. Don’t talk to me ok. I came here not because of you, but because mom told me that she wants me to be here”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun, acting cold towards him. Jessica just stares at Kyuhyun sadly.

“Unnie”

“Hmmm?”

Jessica stares at Sungmin who is frowning because of Kyuhyun.

“Let’s go now and look for mom. I don’t want to be near Kyu ok”

Sungmin told her cousin in law. Jessica stares at Kyuhyun who just nods sadly.

“Ok. Let’s go now”

Jessica gently pats Kyuhyun’s shoulder before walking away with Sungmin.

“Why is she cold towards me? I know that I hate her, but does she really need to act like that towards me?”

Kyuhyun asks his self sadly. He sighs sadly and was about to talk with his business partners and other CEOs again when Sungmin’s friends arrive. They walk towards him and bow their heads to greet him.

“Good evening Oppa. Thanks for inviting us here”

Heechul told Kyuhyun who flashes a smile to all of them.

“Thanks for coming. I’m sure that Minnie will be very happy to see all of you”

Kyuhyun told his wife’s friends.

“Where is my baby Juliet?”

Hyuk Jae asks.

“Please follow me”

Kyuhyun told them before walking towards Sungmin who is happily talking to Jessica, Mrs. Cho, Nicole, Onew and Jonghyun.

“Behave ok”

Heechul told Hyuk Jae before following Kyuhyun.

“Baby, your friends are already here”

Kyuhyun whispers to Sungmin, standing behind her. Sungmin smiles brightly upon hearing her husband, but she just ignores Kyuhyun. She quickly removes Kyuhyun’s arms around her waist, still acting cold towards him. Sungmin’s friends approach her. Heechul quickly grabs Hyuk Jae’s arm before she can hug Sungmin and squeeze her tight.

“I told you to behave”

Heechul told Hyuk Jae who just frowns at her.

“How are you Minnie? We miss you so much”

Zhoumi told Sungmin before hugging her.

“I miss all of you Unnie. I’m sorry, but I can no longer go to school. I need to stop going to school and just study at home. It’s for the baby”

Sungmin told her friends while smiling brightly.

“BABY?”

Sungmin’s friends shout in unison, except Heechul because she already knows about Sungmin’s pregnancy. Seungri stares at Sungmin curiously. Sungmin nods her head happily and puts her right hand on her tummy.

“I’m three weeks pregnant”

Sungmin told her friends.

“AHHHHH! OH MY GOD! WE’RE SO HAPPY FOR YOU!”

Sungmin’s friends shout happily, except Seungri because he feels sad. He knows that he needs to be happy for Sungmin because he knows how much Sungmin wants to give her husband a child. But then, he just can’t help it. He feels jealous and sad because he knows that he can never have Sungmin anymore. Seungri knows that he can’t have Sungmin because she’s already married, but he still keeps the hope that someday he and Sungmin will be together when she and Kyuhyun got divorce. But that hope suddenly collides upon hearing about Sungmin’s pregnancy. It only means that there’s no more chance for Sungmin and Kyuhyun to get divorce in the future because their relationship will be stronger because of their child. Heechul notice Seungri’s sad expression. She elbows Seungri to catch his attention.

“Are you not happy for Minnie and Kyu Oppa?”

Heechul asks. Seungri didn’t answer.

“Where is Seungri?”

Sungmin asks, making Kyuhyun jealous because his wife is looking for other man while she keeps on ignoring him, her own husband.

“I’m here Minnie. Why?”

Seungri asks as he manages to flash a smile though he’s feeling really upset at that moment. Youngwoon guide Sungmin towards Seungri. Sungmin wraps her hands around Seungri’s arm and smiles at her friends.

“Come on. Let’s go to your table. I’ll sit with you guys and let’s talk because I’ll be missing all of you since I’m going to have a home study starting next week. But don’t worry. If I have some time, I will try to visit all of you in school and maybe you can also visit me at home. Just call mom’s secretary for appointment ok”

Sungmin happily told her friends. Sungmin’s friends bow at Mrs. Cho, Jessica, Kyuhyun and Jonghyun as they walk towards their table with Sungmin who is clinging to Seungri. Nicole and Onew guide them towards their table.

“Please excuse me for awhile. I just need to talk to Mr. Shin”

Jonghyun told them. He bows at Mrs. Cho and Jessica and gently pats Kyuhyun’s shoulder.

“Let’s continue chatting later and congratulation again. I’m happy for you Kyu and of course for your wife”

Jonghyun told Kyuhyun before walking away. Mrs. Cho and Jessica notice Kyuhyun staring at Sungmin and Seungri, watching them together.

“They are just friends ok. Let her mingle and have fun with her friends. She wouldn’t be able to see them more often since she’s going to start schooling at home. Don’t be jealous”

Mrs. Cho told her son.

“Let’s just entertain some of the guests”

Jessica suggested. Kyuhyun just sighs heavily and walks away, feeling bad mood because of what Sungmin is doing to him.

“I hope he won’t explode or else…there will be a big chaos for sure”

Jessica told her aunt worriedly.

“He shouldn’t be jealous because they are just friends. But then, Kyu is such a possessive man”

Mrs. Cho told Jessica. They just stare at each other and sigh, worrying about Kyuhyun and Sungmin—they are worried that the couple will have a fight because of Seungri’s closeness to Sungmin.

Kyuhyun stand in front of the guests to give his speech. He was holding a wine glass and a microphone. He didn’t even bother bringing his wife in front with him because Sungmin just keep on ignoring him, acting cold towards him and she doesn’t even want to speak to him. That’s why Kyuhyun just decided to make his speech and stand in front of the guests all by his self.

“Good evening everyone”

Kyuhyun starts to speak. All eyes are upon him. Sungmin is listening while drinking her watermelon shake through a straw and sitting comfortably beside Seungri who takes advantage of the opportunity to be sweet with her, ignoring Heechul and Zhoumi’s serious glare.

“Are you ok?”

Seungri asks Sungmin who nods her head. She carefully puts down her glass of watermelon shake on the table.

“Do you want something?”

Seungri asks. Sungmin shook her head. Seungri holds Sungmin’s hand just like how Kyuhyun holds her hand. But Sungmin quickly pulls her hand away from Seungri’s grip.

“Don’t touch my hand like that. Kyu is the only rightful person who can touch me like that. Don’t disturb me Seungri, I’m listening to my husband’s speech”

Sungmin told Seungri who feels hurt because even though Sungmin is mad at her husband, she’s still thinking about him.

“Sorry about that Minnie”

Seungri whispers. Sungmin just ignores him because she’s busy listening to Kyuhyun who is happily giving his speech in front of the guests.

“Before this night ends, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for joining me and my wife in this simple celebration”

Kyuhyun told the guests. Sungmin suddenly feels confused because she doesn’t know that the party is actually for her. Nobody informs her, not even Mrs. Cho and Jessica. They just told her that they are going to attend a party, but they didn’t tell her that the party is for her—party that Kyuhyun organized for her, to announce to the world that they will be having a child.

“I know all of you are wondering why I throw a party like this. I’m sure that my wife is also thinking and she’s already wondering what this is all about. Actually, this is a surprise party that I organize with the help of my secretary Nicole and mom as well. It’s for my wife”

Kyuhyun smiles brightly.

“And I’m going to announce something. I’m very happy and really proud to announce to all of you and to the whole world that my wife and I are going to have a child soon. My wife is actually three weeks pregnant and I’m really happy and proud soon to be daddy”

Kyuhyun announces happily. The guests clap their hands to congratulate Kyuhyun and Sungmin who suddenly feels guilty for hating Kyuhyun.

“And not only that…”

Kyuhyun clears his throat before continuing.

“I finally talk with Doctor Lee Joon awhile ago…”

Kyuhyun told the crowd. Jessica suddenly freezes upon hearing her ex-boyfriend’s name. Her heart starts beating fast and she can’t understand her emotions on that moment.

“He told me that he will be flying here in Seoul next week together with two doctors in his team. We will be discussing about my wife’s eye surgery in Sydney and my hope for my wife having her eyesight soon gets high upon talking with him. I am sure that my wife will be able to see soon with the help of Doctor Lee Joon. For that, I am offering a toast. This is to celebrate my being soon to be daddy and for my wife’s soon to be eye surgery. Thank you everyone”

Kyuhyun happily raises his wine glass for a toast. The guests stand up and hold their glass wines to have a toast with Kyuhyun before clapping their hands happily, congratulating Kyuhyun and Sungmin.

“We’re happy for you Minnie”

Heechul, Ryeowook and Zhoumi hug Sungmin.

“Thanks you”

Sungmin told them. Heechul notices a bit of sadness in Sungmin’s expression.

“Are you not happy that you’re going to have a baby and eyesight soon?”

Heechul asks worriedly.

“Of course I’m happy Unnie…very happy”

Sungmin told Heechul, smiling at her.

“I’m just tired now and I want to go home”

Sungmin lied. She just can’t tell Heechul that she feels guilty for hating her husband and throwing a fight with him and ignoring him. She feels guilty because she acts like a brat and fail to understand Kyuhyun who loves her so much.

“Unnie, can I asks for a simple favor?”

Sungmin asks. Heechul nods her head and holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between her hands.

“What is it sweetheart?”

Heechul asks with concern.

“I want my husband”

“Ok. I’ll bring Kyu Oppa here”

Heechul told Sungmin. She gently pats her friend’s cheek before approaching Kyuhyun who are happily talking with a lot of CEOs who are congratulating him.

“Oppa…”

Heechul holds Kyuhyun’s arm to catch his attention. Kyuhyun looks at him.

“Can I talk to you for awhile?”

Heechul asks. Kyuhyun nods his head and excuses his self as he walks at the corner with Heechul.

“What is it Chullie?”

Kyuhyun asks.

“Minnie told me that he wants you”

Heechul told Kyuhyun who looks at his wife who is sitting quietly on her chair. Kyuhyun nods and walks towards Sungmin with Heechul. Seungri let go of Sungmin’s arm when he saw Kyuhyun walking towards them. Kyuhyun puts down his glass of wine on top of the table and kneels in front of Sungmin. Seungri feels jealous when Sungmin smiles when Kyuhyun holds her hands.

“What does my baby wants?”

Kyuhyun asks while staring at his wife worriedly while holding her hands tightly.

“Kyu, let’s go home now ok?”

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun nods his head.

“Ok. Let’s go home now, so you can already take a rest”

Kyuhyun told his wife. He slowly stands up and holds Sungmin’s hands to help her stand.

“Is it ok if I go home now?”

Sungmin asks his friends. They all nod at her, except Seungri who didn’t react. He just stares at Sungmin, feeling jealous of Kyuhyun.

“It’s ok sweetheart. You need to take a rest for the baby. We will just visit you after the European trip ok”

Heechul told Sungmin who nods her head.

“Are you guys going to be ok?”

Kyuhyun asks.

“I can ask some of my Personal Assistants to drop all of you at home”

“No need to do that Oppa”

Heechul shook her head.

“Youngwoon, Hae and I bring our cars with us. Wookie can go with me and sleep in our house tonight since we’re cousins while Youngwoon will drop Seungri at home and Hae will take care of Hyukkie and Mimi. We’re going to be fine. Don’t worry about us. Thank you for inviting us and congratulation to you and Minnie. All of us are happy for both of you”

Heechul told Kyuhyun happily. Sungmin’s friends all smile at them, except Seungri who still feels bitter and really jealous at that moment.

“Thank you so much. If you want to visit Min at home, you can always do so. Just call mom’s secretary or Nicole or Onew for appointment”

Kyuhyun told them. The nod at him and hug Sungmin before letting the couple go. Kyuhyun approaches his mother and his cousin and bid goodbye to them. He bid goodbyes to his business partners, secretaries and to other CEOs before leaving the hotel with Sungmin.

*HAN RIVER PARK*

Kyuhyun and Sungmin are sitting on the beautiful grass at Han River Park. They supposed to go home after leaving Conrad Hotels and Resorts, but Sungmin changes her mind because she’s craving for something sweet and she wants her and Kyuhyun to have a husband and wife time at the Han River Park. Kyuhyun was staring at his beautiful wife who is eating her raspberry-lemon cheesecake that he bought at the pastry shop of the hotel. He was drinking his cup of coffee while watching his wife eating happily.

“Kyu…”

Sungmin stops eating when she notices that her husband is very quiet.

“Hmmm?”

Kyuhyun asks as he wipes the cream at the side of Sungmin’s lips.

“Why are you so quiet?”

Sungmin asks worriedly. Kyuhyun shook his head and carefully takes a sip on his coffee.

“I’m just thinking something”

“Thinking about what?”

Sungmin asks before stuffing with the cake that she’s eating. Kyuhyun puts down his cup of coffee on the grass. He gets the cake away from Sungmin as well as the little fork that she’s holding. He holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between his hands and stares at her as she chews her food cutely. He just waits for his wife to finish eating the cake that was inside before kissing her wonderful lips softly.

“You made me so jealous awhile ago, don’t you know that? You’re such a bad girl”

“Jealous?”

Sungmin asks. She doesn’t know that her closeness with Seungri awhile ago will make her husband jealous. Kyuhyun nods his head and kisses Sungmin’s lips again before speaking.

“You and Seungri. You know that I hate whenever you’re being close with other man. I know that you’re just friends, but I’m jealous of him. You keep on clinging to him awhile ago while you ignore me as if I don’t exist”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin with a hint of jealousy and sadness in his voice.

“You know that I love you Min. I love you so much. I just don’t understand why you need to think something stupid. I know that I reject you awhile ago, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t love you anymore. I really need to go to work today because I have a lot of meetings to finish and things to do and all of them are important and I really can’t cancel it. If you’re still mad at me and you still hate me…I’m sorry”

Kyuhyun told his wife.

“Kyu, I want to see you”

Sungmin told her husband. She closes her eyes. Kyuhyun holds her hands and carefully places it on his gorgeous face. Sungmin slowly runs her fingers on her husband’s gorgeous face.

“I’m sorry if I act so brat and cold awhile ago. I’m sorry for hating you and for getting mad at you. I just don’t understand why I’m like this. My mood always change fast and I’m really sorry if ever I’m already giving you a hard time. But don’t worry Kyu. I will behave and I promise not to give you a hard time again”

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand and softly kisses it. Sungmin slowly opens her eyes. Kyuhyun puts his hand on Sungmin’s cheek and starts caressing it gently while staring at his wife full of love.

“It’s ok baby. It’s not your fault because I fail to understand you and I become a grumpy man again. I don’t mind having a hard time. I won’t complain about it as long as you and our little cherub will be healthy and safe all the time. I will try my best to balance my time with you and my work. I’m going to make it up to you tomorrow. I promise that I’ll be yours exclusively tomorrow and maybe…”

Kyuhyun flashes a naughty smile and gently laid his wife on the clean grass with him on top of her.

“Maybe we can make love tomorrow just like what you’re asking awhile ago”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin seductively.

“I’m sorry Kyu, but I’m no longer on the mood. I don’t want to make love to you anymore”

Sungmin told her husband while smiling at him.

“What? Are you just playing on me huh brat girl?”

Kyuhyun asks as he gets off of his wife. He sits on the grass and helps his wife to sit on his lap. Sungmin laughs softly and happily wraps her arms around Kyuhyun’s neck, hugging him sweetly.

“I’m not playing on you Kyu. I really want to make love to you awhile ago, but I already change my mind now. I’m not on the mood anymore. You’re not mad at me, right?”

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun smiles and shook his head. He kisses Sungmin’s lips and hugs her.

“I’m not mad”

Kyuhyun told his wife.

“By the way baby, I already talk with Doctor Lee Joon awhile ago. He’s the one who called me because Doctor Lee Soon-kyu gave my number to him”

“Did you talk about Jessica Unnie?”

Sungmin asks, making Kyuhyun laugh. He gently flicks his wife’s forehead.

“Of course not, we talk about you ok. He will be flying in Seoul next with two doctors in his team. We will meet him on Saturday. They will check on you. It’s just a simple blood test”

“Blood test? It only means that they will extract blood from me?”

Sungmin asks nervously. She shook her head.

“I don’t want Kyu. I’m scared of it”

Sungmin told her husband, hugging him tight. Kyuhyun starts brushing his fingers on Sungmin’s beautiful face.

“You don’t need to be afraid baby because I’m here for you. They need to do that for them to identify the type of LCA you have, so they will know what kind of surgery they need to perform on you. I promise that I won’t leave you, so don’t be scared ok. I will give you strength”

“Ok”

Kyuhyun smiles and kisses Sungmin’s forehead.

“I love you Min”

Kyuhyun whispers, making Sungmin smiles sweetly.

“I love you too Kyu”

Kyuhyun was about to kiss his wife when she suddenly holds her head, feeling dizzy.

“Baby, what happen? Are you ok?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly while staring at Sungmin who closes her eyes.

“I feel dizzy Kyu. Let’s go home now”

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun nods and holds Sungmin’s tummy.

“Ok. Let’s go home now. Maybe our little cherub is already tired. Both of you need to take a rest now”

Kyuhyun told his wife. He stands up and carries Sungmin like a bride. He walks towards his car that was parked near their location. Kyuhyun opens the front door and carefully puts down his wife on the front seat. He puts Sungmin’s seatbelt on.

“Oh! Before I forgot…”

Kyuhyun remembers the bouquet of flowers that he bought for his wife. He opens the door at the back and gets the beautiful bouquet on the backseat. Kyuhyun gently closes the door and puts the bouquet on Sungmin’s lap.

“It’s for you baby. I love you”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, making her smile as she starts running her fingers on the petals of the flowers.

“I’ll just clean our mess ok”

“Ok”

Kyuhyun gives Sungmin a sweet peck on her lips before closing the door gently. He cleans their mess and throws their garbage in the trash bin and pack the cake. He puts their things at the backseat before running towards the driver’s side. Kyuhyun went inside and wears his seatbelt.

“Kyu…”

Kyuhyun looks at his wife who is smiling sweetly.

“Yes baby?”

Kyuhyun asks.

“I want your special pasta when we arrive at home ok?”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun happily. Kyuhyun nods his head happily.

“Ok. I’ll make one for you later when we arrive at home”

“Thank you”

Kyuhyun smiles and starts the engine of his car and drives his car away.

Joon was still busy doing his research for the possible treatment of Sungmin’s blindness.

“I hope it’s really RPE65, so it will be easy for us. But it has a lot of process and we just can’t perform the surgery and some medical procedures right away because the patient is pregnant. All the procedures that we’re going to perform for her will harm the baby and will cause death for the innocent child”

Joon sighs.

“It will be a long journey for her since she needs to give birth first before her eye surgery. It will be fine Joon. You and your teammates can do it. You will be able to give her the chance to see”

Joon told his self. He starts yawning, feeling sleepy and really tired because the only thing that he did on that day is to study Sungmin’s case and review some of his patients’ medical records. Joon removes his glasses and stands up, stretching his muscles.

“I think I should just continue my research later when I wake up. I need to have a meeting with Byunghee and Cheolyong tomorrow to discuss about Sungmin-shi’s case and our own research for the possible cure for her LCA”

Joon told his self before yawning. He gets his mobile phone on top of his desk and walks towards the lounger. He sits down to have some rest first before he goes inside his room. Joon stares at his mobile phone to check is he has missed calls or some text messages since he puts his mobile phone on silent mode, so nobody can disturb him as he work on his research about LCAs.

“Business card?”

Joon asks. He opens the business card and stares on it. Joon smirks.

“Sunny is really insisting what she wants. Did I ever ask her to send me my ex-girlfriend’s number?”

Joon asks as he stares at Jessica’s number. Joon sighs and was about to press delete, but he suddenly changes his mind. He saves Jessica’s number and he wants to give her a call just to hear her voice, but he controls his self from doing it.

“It’s already late and I bet she’s already sleeping at this time. I think, we’re just going to see each other in Seoul because her cousin in law is my patient. I can never escape from her. I know that it’s possible for us to meet each other while I stay in Seoul. I think I’m not ready for it…I don’t know”

Joon told his self. He takes a deep breath and stands up.

“Sleeping is not a good idea. I’ll just go downstairs and make a cup of coffee and return here to continue doing my research. I won’t be able to sleep because of my sister. I need to drip Jess away from my mind and I need to do it now”

Joon told his self. He throws his mobile phone on top of the lounger. He sighs heavily and went out of his office to go downstairs and make his cup of coffee before continuing working on his research, hoping that he can take his ex-girlfriend away from his mind.
