Chapter 31

 

 

Kyuhyun and Sungmin are already back in Seoul after spending Kyuhyun’s 25^th birthday and after attending the Executive Awarding in Jeju Island. Kyuhyun drives straight at work after dropping his wife at her school. Sungmin decided that she will just go straight in Korea University rather than going home and sleep because she’s afraid that she will only feel lazy to go to school once she already lay down on Kyuhyun’s soft and very comfortable bed. She can’t skip her class in the morning because they have oral exam in Speech 1 and written exam in Public Speaking 1, so she has any other choice but to attend her morning classes even though she’s not feeling really well because she feels nauseated, but she didn’t tell it to her husband.

 

“Why are you so early?”

 

Heechul asks Sungmin who is resting her head on Heechul’s desk, trying to sleep. Heechul just arrive in school and she was shock to see Sungmin inside the student council’s office. Heechul walks towards her desk, put down her things on top of her desk and pull a chair and sit down beside Sungmin. She looks at her friend who looks pale.

 

“Are you sick?”

 

Heechul asks. She was about to touch Sungmin’s forehead to check if she’s hot, but Sungmin shook her head and slowly raises it as she sits properly.

 

“I’m sleepy Unnie”

 

Sungmin told Heechul before yawning softly.

 

“Then go to sleep. I’ll be here to watch over you”

 

Heechul told Sungmin before staring at her pink wrist watch to check the time.

 

“It’s just five thirty in the morning. Why are you already in school at time like this? What time is your class?”

 

Heechul asks, wondering why Sungmin is already in school very early in the morning.

 

“Did you and Kyu Oppa have a fight?”

 

Heechul asks.

 

“Or…”

 

Heechul’s eyes suddenly grow big.

 

“Yah! Don’t tell me that you run away from home again?”

 

Heechul asks worriedly. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“Unnie, stop being paranoid ok. I didn’t fight with my husband and I didn’t run away from home. I’m not going to do that again. I won’t worry Kyu and mom that much again”

 

Sungmin told Heechul before yawning softly again. She’s feeling really lazy and sleepy. She already wants to go home and sleep all day because she’s not feeling well again. She’s always like that every morning and she’s really having a hard time on getting up in the morning and go to school.

 

“Oh! That was a relief then”

 

Heechul told Sungmin as she sighs in relief.

 

“I’m really curious. It’s still very early. What are you doing here in school at time like this if you didn’t fight with your husband or run away from home?”

 

Heechul asks while staring at her friend curiously.

 

“That’s because…”

 

Sungmin yawns before continuing.

 

“Well, I fly in Jeju Island on the night of February 2. Kyu and I celebrate his 25^th birthday there yesterday. Our flight was too early because he needs to finish something in his office. I told him to drop me here instead at their mansion. Actually, he wants me to sleep some more since it’s still early. But I don’t want to sleep anymore”

 

Sungmin explains, so Heechul will understand why she’s already in school at such an early time.

 

“But you still look sleepy”

 

Heechul told Sungmin while staring at Sungmin’s innocent eyes that looks really sleepy. Sungmin yawns and rests her head on Heechul’s desk.

 

“I am still sleepy”

 

“Then your husband is right. You supposed to sleep some more in your husband’s mansion”

 

“I don’t want”

 

Sungmin shook her head slowly as she closes her eyes, feeling sleepy.

 

“Why not?”

 

Heechul asks curiously.

 

“Because I’m feeling so tired and lazy lately and I’m having a hard time to get up every morning”

 

“Are you pregnant?”

 

Heechul asks with excitement on her voice. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I’m not pregnant. I just have my period before. Maybe I’m just stressing myself that much. There are a lot of things to do in school because exams are getting near again”

 

Sungmin told Heechul.

 

“Then just sleep here. I’ll watch over you and the other officers will also watch over you when they arrive. You see. I call for an early meeting today because our course will be having a European tour next month and we should plan it very well, so we can already pass a proposal to our Dean and the President of the University”

 

Heechul told Sungmin.

 

“All of the Journalism students will attend different seminars in London, Paris and Germany and then we’re also planning to have remedial classes for those students who are at risk of having failing grades and we will also offer a one on one tutorial. Do you want to sign up as a tutor? You see. It will be great if you will join us because you’re such a smart girl and you will be a great help for those students having a hard time in some subjects”

 

Heechul informs Sungmin.

 

“Ok. Just sign me up Unnie”

 

Sungmin told Heechul, making her giggles happily.

 

“We will continue to look for tutors before we open the one on one tutorial. Maybe Seungri can also join. I’ll talk to him later. By the way, are you going to sleep now? I’m feeling hungry. Do you want to eat breakfast? I’ll call Youngwoon and will ask him to buy us breakfast”

 

Heechul told Sungmin who slowly raises her head. Sungmin nods her head and holds her tummy.

 

“I am also hungry. I want to eat strawberry pancake and waffle. I want to eat a lot”

 

Sungmin told Heechul.

 

“Ok. I’ll give You—“

 

Heechul stops talking when someone enters the office; it was Youngwoon. He smiles brightly upon seeing Heechul and of course Sungmin.

 

“Good morning beautiful girls”

 

Youngwoon greets them happily before putting his things on top of his desk.

 

“Yah! Why are you still here? I was about to call you to tell you to bring breakfast for all of us”

 

Heechul told Youngwoon.

 

“Call Hae. He just leaves their house. That fish is always late”

 

Youngwoon told Heechul before sitting on his chair.

 

“As if he will say yes. That fish will just reason out because he’s a very lazy person. You can never rely on him when it comes to things like this”

 

Heechul told Youngwoon, rolling her eyes.

 

“I’ll just call Wookie. She’s on her way here. Maybe she can drop by in the near restaurant that is already open at this hour and buy all of us a breakfast”

 

Heechul told Youngwoon. She stands up and walks towards the door.

 

“You watch Minnie first. I’ll just give Wookie a call because the signal here is very low”

 

Heechul told Youngwoon before going out of the office. Youngwoon looks at Sungmin and notices her paleness.

 

“Are you sick?”

 

Youngwoon asks worriedly. Sungmin shook her head slowly and rests it on Heechul’s desk.

 

“I’m just sleepy”

 

Sungmin told Youngwoon before yawning.

 

“You can sleep if you want. Chullie and I will watch over you and we’re going to wake you once the breakfast is already here. By the way…why are you already here? It’s still early. What time is your first class?”

 

Youngwoon asks, feeling curious as to why Sungmin is already in school at an early time.

 

“It’s a long story Bear Oppa. Just ask Chullie Unnie. I already told her why I’m here. My class will start at seven in the morning. I need to eat my breakfast now because I’m really feeling hungry now. I forgot to ask my husband to buy me a breakfast before he drops me here”

 

Sungmin told Youngwoon before raising her head.

 

“Don’t worry because Wookie will surely arrive soon with your Romeo. Hyukkie sleep at Ryeowook’s condo yesterday because they did something for the student council’s website. By the way did Chullie already inform you about the European trip of all the Journalism students next month?”

 

Youngwoon asks. Sungmin nods as an answer.

 

“Are you going?”

 

Youngwoon asks.

 

“If Kyu will allow me”

 

“Can we talk to him about it? Actually, Chullie and the rest of our friends want to talk to personally talk to your husband about it, so he will allow you to come. We really want you to be there because you’re going to enjoy the seminars and it’s all about Journalism and you will learn a lot. I’m sure that your husband will not deprived you on learning new things and socializing with other Journalism students at other schools in Europe”

 

Youngwoon explains, informing Sungmin about their plan on talking with Kyuhyun to ask his permission about the European trip because they all want Sungmin to join the trip, so they will be complete. Seungri will also come because the trip amd Seungri’s allowance for the trip will all be shouldered by Mr. Cho’s charity.

 

“Kyu never deprived me on learning new things. I bet he won’t allow me because I’m blind and he’s a very protective man. He doesn’t want me to be in trouble and to hurt myself”

 

Sungmin told Youngwoon. She knows her husband that much. It’s true that Kyuhyun never deprived her on learning new things and Kyuhyun will never do that. But she’s sure that her husband will never let her go in that European trip because he’s such a very protective husband. Kyuhyun always want Sungmin to be safe and maybe Kyuhyun will only agree if the school will allow her to bring a guardian with her.

 

“We’re the one who will watch over you and we’re the one who is going to take care of you there. Kyu Hyung must not worry that much because we’re going to make sure that you will always safe and you won’t get into trouble or hurt yourself. Is he going to fetch you later?”

 

Youngwoon asks. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I don’t know. He didn’t tell me. He’s very busy lately. I guess you wouldn’t be able to talk to him properly because he has a lot of things to do for Cho International Group of Companies because the company will have expansion in New York and Berlin. He will fly in Berlin tonight”

 

Sungmin informs Youngwoon.

 

“But don’t worry about it Oppa. I’m the one who will talk to him later at home. I’ll try to convince him. Is Seungri also coming? Does he already have money to pay the trip? I’ll talk to Kyu about it, so we’re going to be complete in that European trip”

 

“Oh! Don’t worry about him. He will come. All expenses as well as his allowance for the trip will be shouldered by your father in law’s charity. I bet Kyu Hyung already know about this European trip since he’s already the President of that charity after your father in law passed ahead”

 

Youngwoon happily told Sungmin, making her smile because they will be complete in that European trip and the only thing that she needs to do is to convince her husband to allow her to join the trip. Heechul go back inside the office with Zhoumi.

 

“Mimi is here. We just need to wait for Wookie, Hyukkie and of course the master of delay, fishy Hae. I bet we will start our meeting really late because of that fish. Thank goodness that Wookie and Hyukkie are already near here. It only means that we can already eat breakfast”

 

Heechul informs them. Zhoumi sit down on her chair and looks at Sungmin.

 

“Hi baby girl. Why are you early?”

 

Zhoumi asks curiously.

 

“Why is everyone asking me about that? Am I not allowed to be early in school?”

 

Sungmin asks while pouting cutely. Zhoumi smiles and shook her head. She stands up and drags her chair beside Sungmin and sits down. She gently pinches Sungmin’s cheek.

 

“Of course not baby girl. It’s just that, this is the first time that I’m going to see you very early here in school. Anyway, are you sick? You look pale”

 

Zhoumi asks. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I’m not sick. I just feel sleepy and already hungry”

 

“Ah, don’t worry because your Romeo and Wookie are already near. I’m sure that Hyukkie bought a lot of food for you. Your know her. She will do anything for you because she loves you that much”

 

Zhoumi told Sungmin, teasing her.

 

“Stop teasing us Unnie. I’m already married and Hyukkie Unnie is a girl. She should find a man for her. Maybe Hae Oppa can be her boyfriend. I’m sure that they will be a lovely couple”

 

Sungmin told Zhoumi, making her, Heechul and Youngwoon laugh.

 

“Why are you guys laughing at me? I didn’t say anything funny. I’m not kidding. Hyukkie Unnie and Hae Oppa will be a lovely couple. I know that Hyukkie Unnie is beautiful and Hae Oppa is handsome and they will look good together. Hae Oppa is nice as well as Hyukkie Unnie and she’s also lovable. I’m sure that Oppa won’t have a hard time falling for her”

 

Sungmin explains to them.

 

“But the problem is those two are like cat and dog. Actually, they hate each other more than cat and dog. They always fight and Hyukkie is a lesbian and Hae hates girl who acts like a man and very childish. Hyukkie can be childish and brat sometimes”

 

Zhoumi told Sungmin. Youngwoon and Heechul nod their heads, agreeing to Zhoumi.

 

“I bet they will only fight all the time if they become a couple”

 

Heechul told them while laughing softly.

 

“I really can’t imagine them being a couple. It means trouble. Hae will just be Hyukkie’s punching bag and that’s for sure”

 

Youngwoon told them before laughing hard.

 

“Maybe Oppa can help Unnie to become a girl and act like a lady. He can change her. I’m sure that Hyukkie Unnie will already be a girl once she already fall in love with Hae Oppa and they will be a lovely couple and that’s for sure”

 

Sungmin told her friends who just keep on laughing because for them it will be very impossible for Donghae and Hyuk Jae to become a couple since they are always fighting and opposing each other and they really hate each other so much. Ryeowook and Hyuk Jae finally arrive at the student council’s office.

 

“Finally! We can already eat our breakfast”

 

Youngwoon told them happily because he’s also feeling hungry. He didn’t have the chance to eat his breakfast at their mansion because he’s in a hurry. He even forgot the chocolates that he will give to Sungmin because he’s in a hurry to go to school for the student council’s meeting.

 

“MY BABY JULIET!!!”

 

Hyuk Jae shouts happily as she runs towards Sungmin. She quickly kisses Sungmin’s wonderful lips before hugging her, squeezing her like a teddy bear.

 

“Unnie, I can’t breathe properly. Don’t hug me like that. You’re going to break my bones”

 

Sungmin told Hyuk Jae, trying to escape from her tight hug.

 

“I’m so happy to see you. I’ve never seen you lately because you’re always absent in the morning and we can’t already see each other in the afternoon since I’m already busy. I miss you so much my baby Juliet”

 

Hyuk Jae told Sungmin before showering Sungmin’s beautiful face with light kisses.

 

“Unnie, stop that. Kyu will be mad at you”

 

Sungmin told Hyuk Jae, pushing her friend’s beautiful face away from her. Zhoumi drags Hyuk Jae away from Sungmin before she can break Sungmin’s bones.

 

“Don’t hug her like that. Kyu Oppa will surely grill us alive if you break our baby girl’s bones. Aish! Why are you such an aggressive girl huh?”

 

Zhoumi told Hyuk Jae, frowning at her.

 

“I just miss my baby Juliet ok”

 

“But you don’t need to squeeze her like that”

 

“Arasso”

 

Hyuk Jae pouts. Zhoumi let go of her. Hyuk Jae grabs her chair and sit beside Sungmin.

 

“I bought a lot of food for you”

 

Hyuk Jae told Sungmin while smiling brightly, feeling really happy just by staring at her crush’s beautiful face.

 

“How much do I owe you?”

 

Sungmin asks. Hyuk Jae shook her head.

 

“It’s my treat my baby Juliet. But if you really want to pay me then you can just kiss me”

 

Hyuk Jae told Sungmin. Youngwoon gently hits Hyuk Jae’s head.

 

“Yah! What the hell are you talking about? Just start eating ok. We’re just waiting for our fish before we start the meeting”

 

Youngwoon told Hyuk Jae causing her to sighs heavily.

 

“I really hate that guy. He’s always late. Really irritating”

 

Hyuk Jae whispers before focusing her attention back on Sungmin.

 

“My baby Juliet, I’m going to feed you ok”

 

“I can eat alone”

 

“Let me feed you. That’s your payment since I’m the one who pay for your breakfast”

 

Hyuk Jae giggles happily. She gets a plastic fork and starts feeding Sungmin with strawberry and chocolate waffle.

 

“I bought an orange juice for you. Don’t drink coffee because coffee is sometimes bad for health”

 

Hyuk Jae told Sungmin before stuffing with pancakes. She chews her food happily while watching Sungmin eating very carefully.

 

“Was it delicious?”

 

Hyuk Jae asks before stuffing Sungmin’s mouth with waffles again. Sungmin nods her head while chewing her food very carefully.

 

“Next time, I’ll be the one who will make a strawberry and chocolate waff—“

 

Hyuk Jae stops talking when Sungmin suddenly holds .

 

“Is there something wrong?”

 

Hyuk Jae asks. Sungmin slowly stands up. Everyone stares at her curiously.

 

“Where is the bathroom? I need to use it”

 

Sungmin manages to speak though she’s already feeling like throwing up.

 

“I’ll accompany you there”

 

Heechul told Sungmin. She puts down her paper plate and wipes her lips with table napkin and holds Sungmin’s hands. Heechul, Ryeowook and Zhoumi accompany Sungmin inside the bathroom.

 

“What’s wrong with her?”

 

Youngwoon asks Hyuk Jae who looks worried. Hyuk Jae shook her head because she doesn’t know exactly what happen to Sungmin. All she knows is she’s just feeding Sungmin happily.

 

“I’m going to check my baby Juliet”

 

Hyuk Jae told Youngwoon. She puts down her paper plate on Heechul’s desk and quickly went inside the comfort room to check Sungmin. Hyuk Jae’s eyes widened when she saw Sungmin throwing up on the sink while Ryeowook, Heechul and Zhoumi rub her back to make her more comfortable.

 

“What happen to my baby Juliet?”

 

Hyuk Jae asks worriedly. Sungmin washes and her face after throwing up. Zhoumi hands her paper towels and help her to dry her beautiful face. Hyuk Jae walks towards Sungmin and notices her pale beautiful face.

 

“Are you ok?”

 

Hyuk Jae asks with concern. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I’m sick and I’m feeling dizzy”

 

Sungmin told them. They help her to go out of the comfort room. Youngwoon stares at the girls as they help Sungmin to sit on Heechul’s chair.

 

“What happen?”

 

Youngwoon asks while staring at Sungmin worriedly.

 

“She’s sick. Is the infirmary already open at this hour?”

 

Heechul asks Youngwoon while rubbing Sungmin’s forehead gently.

 

“She’s a bit hot. I guess she has a slight fever. We need to bring her at the infirmary, so the nurses can give her some medicine”

 

Zhoumi told them. Ryeowook and Hyuk Jae nod. Youngwoon stares at his watch, checking the time.

 

“I think the infirmary is already open at this time. Come. Let’s bring Minnie there since Hae is still not here”

 

Youngwoon told them. He puts down his cup of coffee and moves closer to Sungmin.

 

“I’m going to carry you ok”

 

Youngwoon told Sungmin who nods her head weakly. Youngwoon carefully carries Sungmin on his arms. Ryeowook and Hyuk Jae bring Sungmin’s things as they bring Sungmin at the infirmary. The nurses at the infirmary quickly assist them. They get Sungmin’s blood pressure and it’s low. Her temperature is a bit elevated. They give medicine to Sungmin for her to drink, but she didn’t drink it.

 

“You should drink it for you to feel better”

 

Ryeowook told Sungmin, but she keeps on shaking her head.

 

“I don’t want to drink it. I want my husband”

 

Sungmin told them, feeling nervous. One of the nurses who check Sungmin approaches them.

 

“The patient can stay here and rest for awhile. Doctor Song is already on her way here. She can check on Ms. Cho when she arrives”

 

The nurse informs them. She bows her head before leaving them. Sungmin holds Ryeowook’s hands and shook her head.

 

“Please tell them that I’m fine. Just call my husband. I don’t want a doctor to check me…please”

 

Sungmin told them nervously as tears start forming in her eyes.

 

“But Minnie…”

 

“Unnie, I want my husband. Just call him now. Tell him that I’m here at the infirmary. He will surely go here. Please Unnie”

 

Sungmin begs Heechul while controlling her tears from falling. She’s afraid that the doctors will soon arrive and check on her without Kyuhyun by her side. Sungmin wants her husband to be by her side once the doctors arrive and check her up. Sungmin is afraid that they will inject something on her and she wants Kyuhyun to be there for her.

 

“Please Unnie…I need Kyu”

 

Sungmin told Heechul, continuing begging her to call Kyuhyun. Sungmin starts to cry because she feels emotional again.

 

“Aigoo! Don’t cry”

 

Zhoumi told Sungmin. She sits beside Sungmin and starts comforting her. Hyuk Jae sits on the empty space beside Sungmin and wipes her tears away.

 

“Don’t worry my baby Juliet. Chullie Unnie will already call Kyu Oppa. He will be here any minute, so don’t cry now. It will be bad for you if you will cry. You’re just going to make your condition harder for you”

 

Hyuk Jae told Sungmin, comforting her.

 

“I’m going to call Oppa now. Don’t cry anymore”

 

Heechul told Sungmin who nods her head slowly before wiping her tears.

 

“I’ll return in our building and get my mobile phone. You guys stay here and watch over Minnie. I’ll be back soon”

 

Heechul told them before leaving the infirmary to go back to their building and call Kyuhyun to inform him that Sungmin needs him because she’s currently staying at the infirmary.

Kyuhyun was busy reviewing a lot of documents when he heard his mobile phone ringing.

 

“Aish! I forgot to put my phone in silent mode, so nobody will disturb me”

 

Kyuhyun whispers before getting his mobile phone on top of his desk. He stares at the caller’s name; it was his mother.

 

“Yeoboseo”

 

Kyuhyun answers the call.

 

“Where are you and Minnie? Are you back in Seoul now?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Mom, is there something wrong?”

 

Kyuhyun asks because he senses a bit of nervousness on his mother’s voice. Mrs. Cho nods her head.

 

“Jess and I are here at Cha Hospital. We bring Fany here. She’s already having her labor”

 

Mrs. Cho informs her son. Kyuhyun’s eyes widened upon hearing his mother.

 

“What? But I thought her due date is on February 15? It’s just February 4”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother, feeling worried about his cousin and of course the baby.

 

“Is that normal or what? Is the baby premature or what?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Mrs. Cho shook her head.

 

“The baby is not premature. There’s nothing to worry about Kyu. Doctor Park says that it’s ok. She checks on Fany awhile ago. She told us that the baby is fine and maybe Seung-hyun is really excited to see the world, that’s why he’s very eager to go out now”

 

Mrs. Cho told Kyuhyun with a smile on her lips. Kyuhyun sighs in relief. He really thought that something bad already happen to his cousin and to her baby.

 

“It’s good that they are fine. Where is Siwon Hyung?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“Jess already called him. He’s currently in Tokyo for a business conference. But he will not attend it anymore. He will be flying here by now. Your aunt and uncle already book a flight going here. Their flight will be at nine in the morning today. So, where are you and Minnie?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks.

 

“I’m already in my office. She’s already in her school. I drop her there before I went in the company. She told me that she will just stay at the student council’s office and study rather than going home”

 

“You should bring her to a doctor. I guess there’s something wrong with her. Maybe she’s sick and she just doesn’t want to tell it to us”

 

“Yes mom”

 

Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“I will bring her after my Berlin trip. I need to go there for the company’s expansion in Berlin”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother happily. Mrs. Cho smiles.

 

“Oh! Speaking of company, congratulations sweetheart for winning the Best CEO of the Year yesterday night and Cho International Group of Companies is the Best Company of the Year. I am so proud of you sweetheart. I know that you’re going to be like your dad and I’m sure that he’s very proud of you as well”

 

Mrs. Cho happily told her son.

 

“Thanks mom. I’m like this because of Min. She helps me stand again and become a better person. I will never achieve those awards if it wasn’t for her”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother. Mrs. Cho nods her head happily.

 

“She’s really your angel and I’m really happy having a daughter in law like her. I really wish that you and Minnie will have a baby soon. We need little Chos in the family now, to bring the happiness back in the house and I also want to take care of my grandchild soon”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son happily. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Min and I are trying. But I don’t know why we always fail”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother sadly.

 

“Don’t be sad sweetheart. The baby is soon to arrive. So, I’ll just see you and Minnie later. I’ll give you a call when baby Seung-hyun finally go out from his mother’s womb. Don’t tire yourself that much. I love you Kyu”

 

“I love you too mom”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother with a smile on his lips before hanging up. Kyuhyun puts his mobile phone in silent mode before putting it back on top of his desk. He stares at the picture on top of his desk; it was taken last Christmas in Sydney, Australia. It’s a picture of him and Sungmin.

 

“Seriously, when will our baby arrive? I really envy Siwon Hyung. He’s already a father now. I also want to be a father soon”

 

Kyuhyun told his self. He sighs sadly and focuses his attention back on his work when someone knocks softly. Onew opens the door and carefully went inside his boss’ office.

 

“Good morning Sir”

 

Onew told Kyuhyun before closing the door gently. He walks towards Kyuhyun who is busy reviewing a lot of documents. Onew bows at his boss before speaking.

 

“Conference Room 17 is ready. The members of the Board are already arriving there one by one. Mr. Lee is already there now”

 

Onew informs his busy boss. Kyuhyun nods his head. He puts down the folder that he’s holding on top of his desk and stands up. He stares at Onew and was about to give him instruction when someone knocks on the door. Nicole went inside.

 

“Sir”

 

Kyuhyun and Onew stare at Nicole who looks really worried.

 

“Is there something wrong?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Nicole nods worriedly.

 

“I received a phone call from Ms. Kim Heechul. She told me that she can’t contact you in your number. She informs me that your wife is at the infirmary and Ma’am wants you to be there. Ms. Kim told me that Ma’am is sick”

 

Nicole told her boss. Kyuhyun looks at Onew.

 

“Tell Mr. Lee to preside the meeting. I need to go at Korea University and fetch my wife. Just give me a call whenever you need too. I’ll be back to work later”

 

Kyuhyun told Onew, feeling really worried about Sungmin. He gives three folders to Onew.

 

“Give that to Mr. Lee. Tell him that I’m done reviewing it. I reject the business proposal of Cha Teletech. I’ll just talk more about it to him later when I return here”

 

Kyuhyun told Onew, giving him instructions. Onew nods his head as he writes everything on his notepad. Kyuhyun wears his backpack, grabs his mobile phone and car key on top of his desk and quickly leaves his office.

 

“What exactly happen to Ma’am?”

 

Onew asks Nicole who still looks worried. Nicole shook her head.

 

“I don’t know. Her friend didn’t tell me. She just told me that Ma’am is sick. They bring her at the infirmary because she looks pale and she throws up”

 

Nicole told Onew.

 

“Throws up?”

 

Onew asks curiously. Nicole nods her head as an answer.

 

“OMO! What if Ms. Cho is not sick?”

 

Onew asks. Nicole stares at him with a questioning glare.

 

“What if she’s pregnant and not sick?”

 

Onew asks. Nicole shook her head.

 

“I don’t know. If Ms. Cho is pregnant…”

 

Nicole thinks for the meantime.

 

“Of course Sir will know it and he will announce Ma’am pregnancy to the whole company or maybe to the whole world because he’s really excited to be a father soon. Maybe Ma’am is really sick because she looks weak when we’re in Jeju”

 

Nicole told Onew.

 

“Let’s just hope for the better Collie. I hope our Ma’am is fine or else Sir will be very sad and worried. We both know him. He really loves his wife that much and he doesn’t want Ma’am to hurt herself or get into trouble”

 

Onew told his friend. Nicole nods her head.

 

“So true. I hope Ma’am is fine and it’s not something serious”

 

Nicole told Onew. She takes a deep breath and pats her friend’s shoulder.

 

“We should get back to work now. You still need to give the folders to Mr. Lee and tell him to preside the meeting since our boss went at Korea University because it’s emergency”

 

“Arasso. Let’s order our breakfast when I return after giving the folders to Mr. Lee at Conference Room 17”

 

Onew starts rubbing his tummy.

 

“I’m already hungry. I need to eat a lot, so I will be having a lot of energy. I have a lot of works to do and to finish”

 

“Me too. I still need to prepare Sir and Mr. Lee’s flight later in Berlin”

 

Nicole and Onew smile at each other.

 

“FIGHTING!”

 

They shout in unison before giving each other a high five.

 

“Let’s go home together ok. You drop me in my condo. I didn’t bring my car today because I’m too lazy to drive”

 

“No problem Collie. Let’s get back to work now”

Nicole happily flicks Onew’s forehead before they leave Kyuhyun’s office together to continue their work.

Kyuhyun went at the infirmary to look for his wife. Heechul and Ryeowook are already waiting for him at the lobby. They quickly approach Kyuhyun upon seeing him arriving.

 

“Oppa!”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Heechul.

 

“Where is Min?”

 

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Heechul and Ryeowook can see Kyuhyun’s care and concern for his wife.

 

“She’s inside room 2. Follow us Oppa. We will take you there”

 

Heechul told Kyuhyun. She and Ryeowook start walking. Kyuhyun follows them from behind. Heechul and Ryeowook bring Kyuhyun inside room 2.

 

“Your husband is already here”

 

Zhoumi whispers to Sungmin.

 

“Kyu, where are you?”

 

Sungmin asks with teary eyes. Kyuhyun was standing at the doorway, staring worriedly at her. Heechul looks at Youngwoon, Zhoumi and Hyuk Jae, signaling that they should leave the couple alone.

 

“We’re going back now at the student council’s office. You take a rest”

 

Youngwoon told Sungmin before going out with Hyuk Jae and Zhoumi. Ryeowook gently closes the door, leaving Kyuhyun and Sungmin alone inside the room. Kyuhyun sits on the bed and hugs his wife.

 

“What happen to you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“I’m sick. Don’t leave me here. They are giving me a lot of medicines, but I didn’t drink any of it. I’m scared Kyu. Please stay beside me. Please don’t leave me”

 

Sungmin told her husband, hugging him.

 

“Ok. Don’t be scared anymore. I’m here now. We’re going home now. You take a rest at home”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin raises her head and shake it slowly, disagreeing with her husband. She can’t go home, not yet because she still has exams.

 

“I can’t go home Kyu. I have exams today”

 

Sungmin told her husband.

 

“Then I’m going to talk to your Dean and tell him that I’m already taking you home because you’re sick. We’re going to ask for a permission to go home and show it to him. I’m going to talk to him, so they will give special exams for you”

 

“But…”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s lips to stop her from talking.

 

“Shhhhh….we’re going home ok. You need to stay home, so I won’t worry too much. At least when you’re home, I know that someone will watch over you. I know that your friends can watch over you, but they also need to study, so they can’t watch over you the whole time”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Someone softly knocks on the door. The nurse came in with tourniquet and empty syringe.

 

“Sir, we’re just going to extract blood from your wife. It’s for laboratory test”

 

The nurse told Kyuhyun. Sungmin shook her head and quickly hugs her husband, feeling scared. Kyuhyun looks at the nurse and shook his head.

 

“I’ll be the one who will bring my wife to our family doctor. No need to conduct a laboratory test. Can I just request a permission to go home? I’m going to give it to her Dean because I need to talk to him”

 

Kyuhyun told the nurse.

 

“Oh! Ok. No problem Sir”

 

“Thanks”

 

The nurse bows at Kyuhyun before leaving the room. Kyuhyun looks at his beautiful wife. Sungmin is really pale and she looks sick. He gets his mobile phone inside his pocket and calls Onew.

 

“Yes Sir. What can I do for you? Nicole and I are having breakfast at the room”

 

Onew told Kyuhyun happily.

 

“Tell Mr. Lee that I’m no longer going back in the company. Tell him that I’ll just see him at the airport later for our flight in Berlin tonight. I can’t leave my wife. She’s sick”

 

Kyuhyun told Onew.

 

“How’s Ma’am?”

 

Onew asks with concern.

 

“She’s fine now. I’m going to take her home and take care of her there. She needs to take a lot of rest and she’ll be fine. Just give all the documents on top of my desk to one of my Personal Assistants. Tell him to drop it home. I’ll just continue reviewing it at home”

 

“No problem Sir”

 

“I’ll see you later for our flight in Berlin tonight”

 

Kyuhyun told Onew before hanging up. The nurse knocks on the door before going inside the room.

 

“Sir, this is Ms. Cho’s permission to go home slip. Please sign here”

 

The nurse told Kyuhyun as she gives the slip to him. Kyuhyun signs the paper and gives it back to the nurse.

 

“Can I bring my wife home now?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. The nurse nods her head.

 

“Thank you”

 

Kyuhyun told the nurse who looks at Sungmin.

 

“Take care Ms. Cho and take a good rest at home, so you’ll be fine soon”

 

The nurse told Sungmin. She bows her head to them before going out of the room.

 

“Come baby. Let’s go home now”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. He stands up and gets his wife’s cane on top of the bedside table and puts it inside her handbag.

 

“Are you feeling cold?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, checking his wife. Sungmin shook her head. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand to help her stand. He grabs all his wife’s things.

 

“Are these all your things? You didn’t forget anything at the student council’s office?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods.

 

“Ok. We’re going now. You wait for me inside the car. I’ll just give the slip to your Dean and talk to him. It won’t take that long”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin just nods her head. She yawns softly, feeling sleepy.

 

“Kyu, I want to sleep”

 

“Ok. We’re going to sleep at home”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, making her smile.

 

“Let’s go now, so you can already take a rest”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand as they leave the room together.

“Please get out of the car now Min!”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, controlling his remaining temper. Kyuhyun drives his car at Incheon Medical Center. He brings Sungmin there because he wants Doctor Wang to check on her. Kyuhyun is worried about his wife and he needs to know what is happening to Sungmin and that’s why he decided to drive first at Incheon Medical Center before going home with Sungmin.

 

“I don’t want”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she shakes her head. She feels scared and she really doesn’t want to see a doctor.

 

“I TOLD YOU TO GO OUT OF THE CAR CHO SUNGMIN! STOP BEING A HARD HEADED GIRL!”

 

Kyuhyun raises his voice, feeling angry and irritated towards his wife. He’s not the type of person who can hold his temper for a long time.

 

“GO OUT!”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He holds his wife’s hand and starts pulling her outside, forcing her to go out.

 

“I don’t want! Please stop!”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she starts to cry. Kyuhyun sighs and let go of his wife’s hand. He closes the door angrily before running towards the driver’s seat. Kyuhyun go inside and shut the door angrily.

 

“STOP CRYING!”

 

Kyuhyun shouts angrily. But Sungmin didn’t stop from crying.

 

“What am I going to do to you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. He takes a deep breath to calm his self.

 

“Sorry”

 

Sungmin whispers sadly. Kyuhyun stares at her. He moves closer to his wife and wipes her tears away.

 

“Stop crying now. I’m sorry. I’m not supposed to get mad. It’s just that…I’m worried about you. I just want to bring you to Doctor Wang for her to check you up. I need to know what’s happening to you and I want to make sure that it’s not something serious and that you’re really fine”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He holds his wife’s hands, hoping that she will already agree to his idea to see a doctor.

 

“Please baby. Let’s go inside now and see Doctor Wang”

 

Kyuhyun begs his wife, but Sungmin shook her head.

 

“Why do you always want me to bring at the hospital and see a doctor, knowing that I’m scared of them?”

 

Sungmin asks, controlling her tears from falling again.

 

“Kyu, I know that you’re worried about me. But I’m fine. I know that I’m sick, but I’m fine. This is my body and I know my limitations. I’m the one who will ask you to bring me to the hospital if I can no longer take it and if I’m not really feeling well. So please, let’s go home now. Stop worrying about me. I’m fine. I’m not going to be fine if you will force me to see a doctor”

 

Sungmin explains to her husband, hoping that Kyuhyun will no longer force her to see a doctor. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin and sighs.

 

“Fine. We’re going home now. It’s your decision and I don’t want to force you. Just take a rest at home. I’ll just take care of you and watch over you”

 

“But can we eat our breakfast first? I’m already hungry”

 

Sungmin told her husband, making him laugh softly.

 

“Ok. We’re going to eat first because I’m also hungry. Promise that you will eat a lot ok”

 

“Ok”

 

Sungmin smiles at Kyuhyun.

 

“Ok. Let’s go now”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. He let go of Sungmin’s hands and buckles her seatbelt. Kyuhyun starts the engine of his car. He buckles his seatbelt and drives his car away.

*CHA HOSPITAL*

 

 

Mrs. Cho is waiting outside the delivery room with Jessica. They are walking back and forth, waiting for Doctor Park to go out and inform them about Tiffany’s condition. Tiffany is currently giving birth to her first born. Mrs. Cho and Jessica are feeling very excited and nervous at the same time. They are very excited to see Tiffany and Siwon’s baby and they really feel very happy for the couple. But of course, they also can’t help but to feel nervous because one hour has already passed and Tiffany is still inside the delivery room and Doctor Park is not yet going out.

 

“Aunt, what is happening to Fany inside? It’s been an hour. How come Doctor Park is not yet going out of the delivery room and Fany is still inside? Do you think Fany is fine?”

 

Jessica asks her aunt nervously. Mrs. Cho stops walking. She stares at Jessica who looks worried for Tiffany. Mrs. Cho holds Jessica’s hands.

 

“It’s really hard to give birth, especially if it’s your first time. I remember when I gave birth to Kyu. I don’t know how to push and that’s why I also stay inside the delivery room for a long time. You see. It’s really painful”

 

“How painful it is?”

 

Jessica asks. Mrs. Cho thinks for awhile before shaking her head.

 

“I don’t know. I can’t explain how painful it is. It’s really painful and your entire body will ache that much and you just can’t explain the pain. That’s why it’s really hard to give birth. But the pain will suddenly fade once you see your baby and when you hear your baby’s first cry. It’s worth the pain”

 

Mrs. Cho told Jessica.

 

“I bet Fany is really having a hard time. I hope she’ll be fine as well as the baby”

 

Jessica told her aunt.

 

“Don’t worry Jess”

 

Mrs. Cho smiles at her niece and gently caresses her cheek.

 

“Fany is a very strong woman. I know that she can make it”

 

Mrs. Cho told Jessica.

 

“Oh! Oppa is here”

 

Jessica told her aunt upon seeing Siwon running towards them.

 

“Aunt, how’s my wife and the baby?”

 

Siwon asks, feeling nervous and of course excited at the same time.

 

“She’s still inside the delivery room. She has a hard time having a labor, but she’s fine. Doctor Park check on the baby’s heartbeat earlier and Seung-hyun is fine. We just need to wait for Do—“

 

Mrs. Cho stops talking when Doctor Park finally went out from the delivery room. She happily approaches Siwon, Mrs. Cho and Jessica.

 

“Doctor, how’s my wife and our baby? Are they fine?”

 

Siwon asks with a mixture of excitement and nervousness in his voice. Mrs. Cho and Jessica stare at Doctor Park, waiting for her to speak. Doctor Park smiles at them.

 

“Congratulation Mr. Choi! Fany gave birth to a healthy and very cute baby boy. They are both fine and healthy. Nothing to worry about. They are just cleaning Fany before they bring her to her room. I will check on baby Seung-hyun for the last time before we put him in the nursery room”

 

Doctor Park told them happily. Siwon starts jumping happily, feeling very happy because he’s already a father now. He even hugs Doctor Park because of happiness.

 

“Thank you so much doctor. When can I see my son?”

 

Siwon asks excitedly.

 

“The nurse will bring baby Seung-hyun later in Fany’s room”

 

Doctor Park happily told Siwon who smiles brightly at her.

 

“Please excuse me for awhile. I’m going back inside the delivery room now to check on Fany and baby Seung-hyun. I’ll just see you later”

 

Doctor Park told them.

 

“Thanks a lot doctor”

 

Siwon told Doctor Park before she returns inside the delivery room.

 

“AUNT! JESS! I’M A FATHER NOW! I’M SO HAPPY!!!”

 

Siwon shouts happily, ignoring the people who are staring at them. Mrs. Cho and Jessica jump happily with him. Siwon hugs them happily.

 

“I don’t know how to explain my emotions right now. I’m so happy…very happy and I can’t wait to see my son and hold him in my arms”

 

Siwon told them. Mrs. Cho looks at her nephew in law and holds his gorgeous face between her hands. Siwon is smiling brightly.

 

“I’m really happy for you and Fany. I know that both of you will become good parents to baby Seung-hyun”

 

Mrs. Cho told Siwon while smiling brightly at him.

 

“Thanks aunt”

 

Siwon told Mrs. Cho, keeping a bright smile on his lips.

 

“Why don’t you call Kyu and inform him that his cousin already gave birth. I’m sure that he and Min will be happy to hear the good news and maybe they can already go here and see my son and of course Fany”

 

Siwon told Mrs. Cho.

 

“I bet Kyu will only envy you that much”

 

Jessica told Siwon.

 

“Let him get envious of me, so that he and Min will make their baby soon. Seriously, their wedding anniversary is soon to come. They need to have baby soon and everyone will be very happy about it, right aunt?”

 

Siwon told Mrs. Cho.

 

“Of course, everyone will be very happy for sure. I seriously want to have a grandchild soon and I think that Kyu is being too slow”

 

Mrs. Cho told Siwon, feeling sad for her son and daughter in law. She suddenly feels envious on Siwon and Tiffany’s parents because they already have a grandchild and Mrs. Cho also want to have one soon.

 

“How can they have a baby if Kyu is always busy with his work? Seriously aunt, he’s always away from Min”

 

Jessica told her aunt while frowning. Siwon nods his head, agreeing to Jessica.

 

“I think Kyu should learn how to balance his time”

 

“So true Oppa. That boy is really poor in time management”

 

Jessica told Siwon, agreeing to him. Mrs. Cho sighs.

 

“I agree with both of you. But of course, we can’t do anything about it. He really needs to be busy because he’s handling a very big company. Maybe their baby will not arrive that soon. There’s always time for that. I’m going to call him now and tell him the good news. He can come here after Minnie’s school”

 

Mrs. Cho told them. Jessica and Siwon nod their heads.

 

“I’m so excited to see Min. I haven’t seen her for a long time since I’m currently staying in my place and I’m to announce something later when Kyu and Min finally arrive here. It’s good news”

 

Jessica told them, feeling happy and excited to tell everyone about the update on Sungmin’s eye surgery.

 

“What is it?”

 

Siwon asks curiously. Jessica smiles at him.

 

“As of now, it’s a secret. Let’s wait for the lovely couple to arrive before I announce it to everyone”

 

Jessica told Siwon before staring at Mrs. Cho who is giving her a curious glare, wondering what is that announcement that Jessica was talking about.

 

“Are you getting married soon?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks curiously.

 

“Aunt!”

 

Jessica shook her head.

 

“How can I get married if I don’t even have a boyfriend?”

 

Jessica asks her aunt while pouting. Siwon suddenly laughs.

 

“Aunt, Jess has a point”

 

Siwon told Mrs. Cho, teasing Jessica.

 

“Shut up Oppa! Stop teasing me ok. My Prince Charming is soon to come”

 

Jessica told Siwon before sticking her tongue out. She looks at Mrs. Cho and smiles at her curious aunt.

 

“I’ll tell it later. Just call Kyu now and inform him about Fany and baby Seung-hyun. Tell him to come here later with Min sweetheart”

 

“Arasso. Please excuse me for awhile. I’ll just call your cousin”

 

Siwon and Jessica happily nod their heads. Mrs. Cho gets her mobile phone inside her handbag and walks at the corner to give her son a call while Siwon keeps on bothering Jessica to already tell him the good news that she’s talking about.

 

 

Meanwhile in Cho mansion…

 

 

Sungmin was comfortably sitting on Kyuhyun’s soft bed while eating a bowl of raspberry.

 

“Kyu, where is mom? I didn’t hear her voice at home. Is she home?”

 

Sungmin asks her husband who is sitting beside her while busily reviewing a lot of documents that his PA delivers. Those are the documents that he’s reviewing in his office earlier before he went at Korea University and fetch his wife.

 

“Mom is currently at Cha Hospital with Jess”

 

Kyuhyun answers his wife while staring at the documents that he’s reading.

 

“Why?”

 

Sungmin asks worriedly.

 

“They bring Fany there because she’s already having her labor. I think her baby will already go out today”

 

“But I thought Fany Unnie is supposed to give birth on February 15? It’s just February 4. Isn’t too early for the baby to go out?”

 

Sungmin asks worriedly.

 

“Well, Doctor Park told them that it’s ok since this is the due month of Fany. Maybe baby Seung-hyun is already excited to see the world, that’s why he wants to go out today”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife.

 

“Are we going to the hospital today?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Let’s wait for mom’s call. If the baby will go out today then we will go at the hospital later to visit Fany and see baby Seung-hyun”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, still reading a lot of documents.

 

“Kyu…”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

“I don’t want to eat anymore”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun gets the bowl of raspberries away from Sungmin’s hands and puts it down on top of the bedside table before focusing his attention back on the documents that he’s reviewing.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin moves closer to her husband. She wraps her hands around Kyuhyun’s arm, catching his attention.

 

“Yes baby?”

 

Kyuhyun asks as he stares at his wife.

 

“Can we make our baby now?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun raises an eyebrow.

 

“And what is that supposed to mean Cho Sungmin?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“Let’s make love now, so we can already have our baby”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun.

 

“Seriously, you’re getting weird lately”

 

“Weird? What’s weird in making love with my husband and making baby? You don’t want us to have a baby?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“That’s not what I’m trying to say ok. Why are you asking for love making all of a sudden? You’re sick. You supposed to take a rest and not to ask your husband to make love to you and make a baby”

 

“But…”

 

“I’m doing something ok. I’m busy Min. Stop disturbing me. Just lay down on the bed. Sleep and take a rest. Let’s wait for mom’s call before we go at the hospital later to visit Fany and see baby Seung-hyun”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife before focusing his attention back on his work.

 

“But I want us to have a baby too”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun sadly. She suddenly feels envious towards Tiffany upon hearing the news about her giving birth on that day. Sungmin also want a baby in her tummy and she also want to be a mother soon like her cousin in law and she wants her husband to be happy and she also wants her husband’s birthday wish to come true. Kyuhyun stops what he’s doing. He packs his things and stands up. He puts all his things on top of the lounger before going back on the bed.

 

“Baby…”

 

Kyuhyun crawls towards his wife. He sits behind Sungmin and wraps his arms around her, hugging her from behind. He holds Sungmin’s hand that was on her tummy.

 

“I’m already feeling so sad and upset. Why is our baby not arriving? We keep on trying, but he’s still not in my tummy and I don’t understand why”

 

Sungmin told her husband as tears start falling from her innocent eyes, feeling really sad. Kyuhyun hugs Sungmin tight, comforting her.

 

“Don’t think about it too much”

 

“But I already want us to have a child. I also want to have a baby in my tummy. You’re already disappointed to me. I know you do even if you don’t tell it to me. I’m sorry Kyu. I’m really sorry”

 

“You don’t need to apologize. It’s not your fault and I’m not disappointed on you. I’m sad and jealous of Siwon Hyung and Fany Unnie because they already have baby Seung-hyun. I also want us to have a baby soon. But we can’t do anything if he still doesn’t want to arrive. All we need to do is to keep tyring and to wait”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He cups his wife’s beautiful and pale face and slowly turns it around, so Sungmin will be facing him.

 

“Shhhhh, I don’t want to see my baby crying. Stop that”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife as he wipes Sungmin’s tears away.

 

“What if we really can’t have a child?”

 

Sungmin asks. Tears start falling from her eyes again.

 

“Stop thinking like that. Of course we will have a baby someday. Maybe we just need to visit Doctor Park, so she can check on you and we know what to do for you to be pregnant soon. Just stop thinking too much. You will just end up stressing yourself. Don’t lose hope. Our baby will soon arrive. Stop crying now”

 

Kyuhyun wipes Sungmin’s tears and hug her. He rests his chin on his wife’s shoulder.

 

“If we’re not really blessed to have a baby then it’s ok though it’s really sad and it will be painful for both of us. But we need to accept it with all our heart. You see. Even though we won’t be able to have a child, we still have each other and that’s important. I told you. You’re my baby, so it’s ok. At least we still have each other and as the time passes by, it will be only you and be at the end. Don’t be sad ok. I don’t want you to be like that”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin nods her head and stops crying.

 

“Let’s sleep now?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I don’t want to sleep”

 

“But I thought you’re sleepy and you want us to sleep? You’re not feeling well, right? You supposed to take a rest, so you can already return to school tomorrow and you won’t miss a lot of lessons. You still need to take your special exams next week”

 

“But I’m no longer sleepy. I just want you to cuddle me in your arms”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun smiles and gently laid Sungmin on their soft bed with him on top of her.

 

“Cuddle you and kiss you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks before capturing his wife’s wonderful lips, kissing her softly. Kyuhyun crawls down and places his head on his wife’s tummy.

 

“Kyu, what are you doing?”

 

Sungmin asks.

 

“I’m listening to our baby”

 

“But there’s no baby inside my tummy”

 

“Shhhh…I’m just practicing on how to be a good dad ok”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin smiles when Kyuhyun holds her tummy and starts speaking, pretending that there’s a baby in her tummy.

 

“Little cherub, when are you going to arrive in your mommy’s tummy? We’re already waiting for you, so please arrive soon. Mommy and daddy are already feeling upset because you’re still not inside mommy’s womb. She already cries awhile ago. That’s why you need to arrive soon, so mommy won’t cry again and she won’t be sad anymore. Please little cherub, don’t keep us waiting for you…just arrive soon ok”

 

Kyuhyun told their baby inside Sungmin’s tummy before resting his head back on his wife’s tummy.

 

“Min, do you think our baby will really arrive soon if we make love today?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“Maybe we can just make our baby after your Berlin trip. I’m not in the mood”

 

“What?”

 

Kyuhyu climbs on top of Sungmin and stares at her.

 

“Are you just teasing me awhile ago?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin smiles and shook her head.

 

“No. I’m no longer in the mood to make love to you. I suddenly want to eat again”

 

“Yah! Why are you always eating? You’re already growing big”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife while frowning at her.

 

“But I want to eat something. I’m feeling hungry again. Let’s go down and look for food ok”

 

“It’s really hard to control your mood swing. Why are you being a brat lately?”

 

Kyuhyun asks before getting off of his wife. He heard his mobile phone ringing. He quickly gets it on top of the bedside table and stares at the caller’s name.

 

“Mom is calling. Maybe Fany already gave birth”

 

“Go answer it”

 

Kyuhyun nods and answers the call.

 

“Yes mom?”

 

“KYU SWEETHEART!!!”

 

Mrs. Cho shouts happily.

 

“Do you really need to shout? You’re going to break my eardrum. Why are you shouting like that?”

 

Kyuhyun asks his mother as he frowns. Sungmin slowly gets up and crawls towards her husband.

 

“Mom, did Fany Unnie already give birth?”

 

Sungmin asks.

 

“Where are you sweetheart and why is Minnie with you? Are you in her school?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“We’re home. I fetch her in her school early in the morning because she’s sick”

 

“OMO!”

 

Mrs. Cho’s eyes widened upon hearing her son.

 

“Is she ok?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Kyuhyun stares at his wife who looks a bit pale. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“She’s fine now compare before. Did Fany already give birth?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Mrs. Cho nods happily.

 

“Yes sweetheart. Baby Seung-hyun is finally here and they are both fine. Siwon is already here and we’re really excited to see the baby. When will you go here with Minnie?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks.

 

“After lunch. Min and I will just eat our lunch outside and then we’re going there to visit Fany and see baby Seung-hyun”

 

“Ok. See you later”

 

“Yes mom. See you later”

 

Kyuhyun hangs up.

 

“Kyu, did Fany Unnie already give birth? Does baby Seung-hyun already arrive?”

 

Sungmin asks excitedly. Kyuhyun nods happily.

 

“Yes baby. Fany already give birth to baby Seung-hyun and they are both fine and healthy”

 

“Are we going to the hospital now and visit them?”

 

Sungmin asks happily. Kyuhyun nods his head again.

 

“Yes. But before we go there, we need to have our lunch first”

 

“Ok. I’m already hungry. Let’s have our lunch now, so we can already go at the hospital. I’m already excited to see Fany Unnie and baby Seung-hyun. Can I hold baby Seung-hyun later in my arms?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun nods.

 

“Of course you can”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, making her giggles happily. Kyuhyun gets off of the bed.

 

“I’m just going to change my clothes because I’m still wearing corporate attire. I’ll be back soon”

 

“Ok. I’ll wait for you here”

 

“Don’t go anywhere without me. Just call me if you need to go at the bathroom or if you need something”

 

Sungmin nods her head. Kyuhyun smiles and gives Sungmin a sweet peck on her lips before going inside his walk-in closet to change his clothes.

*CHA HOSPITAL*

 

 

Kyuhyun and Sungmin went at Cha Hospital after having a peaceful lunch at Bien-etre. Kyuhyun knocks softly on room 4A before going inside with his wife.

 

“MIN!!!”

 

Jessica and Tiffany shout happily upon seeing their beautiful cousin in law. Jessica quickly runs towards Sungmin and hugs her, making her smile.

 

“I miss you so much”

 

Jessica told Sungmin.

 

“I miss you too Unnie. Are you going to go back at the mansion now?”

 

Sungmin asks. Jessica looks at her and smiles.

 

“I’ll be back tomorrow. Let’s have girl bonding ok”

 

“Ok”

 

Jessica holds Sungmin’s hand.

 

“Come. I’ll show you baby Seung-hyun”

 

Jessica told her cousin in law as she walks towards Tiffany with Sungmin. Kyuhyun puts down the basket of fruits that he bought for his cousin on top of the bedside table before walking towards Tiffany’s bed to look at baby Seung-hyun.

 

“Hi sweetheart. I miss you”

 

Tiffany told Sungmin before hugging her.

 

“I miss you too Unnie. Are you ok now?”

 

Sungmin asks with concern. Tiffany nods her head.

 

“I’m ok now. But I still need to stay here for two more days”

 

Tiffany told her cousin in law while smiling at her.

 

“Hey, you gain some weight. You grow a bit bigger compare before”

 

Tiffany told Sungmin as she notices her body changes a little.

 

“Super fat? Kyu told me that I’m already heavy”

 

Sungmin told Tiffany while pouting.

 

“You just gain some weight, but not totally fat. You’re still beautiful”

 

Tiffany told Sungmin, cheering her up.

 

“She always eat that’s why she gains weight”

 

Kyuhyun told his cousin. Tiffany smiles at Kyuhyun.

 

“Congratulation Kyu. I heard about the awards that the Cho International Group of Companies won yesterday at the Executive Awarding in Jeju. You even beat my husband’s company and congrats for being the best CEO of the year and belated happy birthday as well”

 

Tiffany told her cousin happily.

 

“You deserve the awards. Congratulation. Next time. I’ll beat you”

 

Siwon told his cousin in law.

 

“If you can”

 

Kyuhyun told Siwon, teasing him.

 

“Of course I can”

 

Siwon told Kyuhyun as he shakes his hand happily.

 

“Unnie, can I see your baby?”

 

Sungmin asks. Tiffany nods her head.

 

“Of course. He’s lying beside me”

 

“Is he sleeping?”

 

Sungmin asks. Tiffany shook her head.

 

“No. He’s awake. He doesn’t want to sleep. We’re trying to put him to sleep awhile ago after I feed him, but he doesn’t want to sleep”

 

Tiffany told Sungmin. She carefully carries her son in his arms and carefully gives him to Sungmin. Kyuhyun assisted his wife on carrying baby Seung-hyun. He holds his wife’s hand as he supports her other hand to hold baby Seung-hyun. Kyuhyun starts brushing Sungmin’s finger carefully on the baby’s cute face. Sungmin smiles as she slowly and carefully touches baby Seung-hyun’s face.

 

“Baby Seung-hyun is cute and he resembles Siwon Oppa than Fany Unnie”

 

Sungmin told them as she touches the baby’s cute face. Siwon smiles brightly.

 

“See? I told you honey. Our son got a lot of his features on me”

 

Siwon teases Tiffany.

 

“He got his nose from me”

 

“Only his nose”

 

Siwon told his wife, making her pout. Sungmin happily holds the baby’s small hand. She suddenly smiles brightly when baby Seung-hyun holds her finger.

 

“Kyu, he’s holding my finger”

 

“I think he likes you”

 

“I like him too”

 

Sungmin told her husband happily. The baby suddenly cries.

 

“Omo! He’s crying. What will I do?”

 

Sungmin asks worriedly.

 

“It’s ok”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He starts singing a lullaby, making baby Seung-hyun to stop crying. Mrs. Cho, Siwon, Tiffany and Jessica happily watch the couple as they sing a lullaby for baby Seung-hyun, putting him to sleep.

 

“He’s already sleeping. Min and I are really good”

 

Kyuhyun told Siwon and Tiffany proudly. Kyuhyun carefully gets baby Seung-hyun from his wife’s arms and returns him carefully to his cousin. Tiffany places her son on her chest, avoiding waking him. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand as they sit at the foot of Tiffany’s bed.

 

“By the way guys, since baby Seung-hyun is already sleeping. Let’s hear Jess’ announcement about her wedding”

 

Siwon told everyone. All of them stare at Jessica.

 

“Pabo! I’m not going to get married Oppa. Stop teasing me ok”

 

Jessica told Siwon, making him laugh.

 

“Aigoo! I thought it’s already true. I’m really going to throw a party if that happens”

 

Tiffany told Jessica, teasing her.

 

“Not only a party Fany, but one week grand celebration”

 

Kyuhyun told Tiffany as they happily tease Jessica.

 

“Stop teasing me ok. Don’t worry because I’m going to look for a guy who will marry me soon”

 

Jessica told them while pouting.

 

“What is that announcement that you’re going to tell us if it’s not about your wedding?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks, teasing her niece as well.

 

“Well, it’s all about Min”

 

Jessica told them as she stares at her cousin in law happily.

 

“Me? Why me? I’m not doing anything”

 

Sungmin told Jessica, wondering why she suddenly got involved in the conversation about Jessica’s announcement.

 

“What’s with my wife?”

 

Kyuhyun asks as he hugs Sungmin from behind.

 

“It’s about Min’s eyesight. Well, I already talk to Sunny and she told me that Joon and his fellow doctors will be here in Seoul next week, Saturday to check on Min and inform us about the plan for her eye surgery. It only means that there’s still hope for Min to see and it will be soon”

 

Jessica announces happily.

 

“That’s really great news”

 

Tiffany told Jessica while smiling brightly at Sungmin. Siwon and Mrs. Cho also smile at Sungmin while Kyuhyun hugs his wife happily.

 

“I told you baby. You will have your eyesight soon and it’s going to happen. My birthday wish will soon come true”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, feeling happy.

 

“It only means that I can already see those frozen trees at Halla Mountain next year?”

 

Sungmin asks excitedly. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Yes baby. You can already see those frozen trees and the beauty of the world. You can already see yourself and the people around you”

 

Kyuhyun happily told his wife.

 

“And you can also see how ugly Kyu is”

 

Tiffany told Sungmin. She and Jessica laugh to tease their cousin. Kyuhyun coughs softly.

 

“Excuse me Fany and Jess. Who are you calling ugly? I’m a very gorgeous man and Min will fall in love to me even more once she finally sees me, right baby?”

 

Kyuhyun asks his wife. Sungmin smiles and nods her head.

 

“See? My wife approves”

 

Kyuhyun told them as he flashes his proud smile.

 

“So, if Joon will go here in Seoul, does it mean that there’s still a chance for you to be together again?”

 

Tiffany asks.

 

“What’s with Jessica Unnie and Doctor Lee’s brother?”

 

Sungmin asks.

 

“Joon, is your doctor’s older brother and he’s Jess’ ex-boyfriend”

 

Tiffany happily informs Sungmin while smiling at Jessica who suddenly blush.

 

“If Jessica Unnie and her ex-boyfriend will meet again, it only means that Jessica Unnie still has the chance to get married”

 

Sungmin told them, making them laugh.

 

“Min has a point. Is there a second chance?”

 

Siwon asks happily. Jessica didn’t answer because she doesn’t know what to answer and how to answer.

 

“Our talkative Jess suddenly becomes speechless. It means yes because Jess will surely argue if it’s no”

 

Kyuhyun told them, teasing his cousin.

 

“Yah! You guys love to tease me. Come what may ok”

 

Jessica told them. She gets her handbag on the lounger.

 

“Why are you leaving all of a sudden? Are you mad at us?”

 

Siwon asks. Tiffany and Kyuhyun stare at Jessica, observing her expression. Jessica laughs softly.

 

“Pabo! I’m not mad ok. I need to go now because I still have a meeting to attend”

 

Jessica told them. She kisses Tiffany’s cheek and baby Seung-hyun’s little hand.

 

“I’ll be back tomorrow with Min. Let’s have girl talk. You take care of yourself and your baby”

 

Jessica told Tiffany who nods happily at her while flashing her eye smile. Jessica looks at Siwon.

 

“You take care of Fany and baby Seung-hyun or else I will grill you alive. You go to work tomorrow because Min and I will have a girl talk with Fany. You must not disturb us”

 

Jessica told Siwon.

 

“Is it about Joon?”

 

Siwon teases Jessica.

 

“Shut up Oppa”

 

Jessica pouts and kisses Sungmin’s cheek.

 

“See you tomorrow. I’ll be back at the mansion tomorrow. I’ll be the one who will fetch you tomorrow in school because we’re going back here tomorrow to visit Fany and baby Seung-hyun”

 

Jessica told Sungmin who nods happily at her.

 

“That’s right Jess. You need to go back at the house soon because I’m leaving later. I’ll be flying in Berlin with Mr. Lee and Onew. I will stay there for three days. You and mom must watch Min for me”

 

Kyuhyun told his cousin. Jessica frowns at him.

 

“You’re leaving your wife again? Seriously Kyu, how can you and Min make a baby if you’re always away from her and if you’re always busy with your work? Have some time for your wife”

 

Jessica told Kyuhyun. Mrs. Cho, Tiffany and Siwon nod their heads, agreeing to Jessica.

 

“Min and I are trying”

 

Kyuhyun told his cousin. Jessica just nods her head and gently pats. Kyuhyun’s shoulder before hugging Sungmin.

 

“I’m going now”

 

“Drive safely Unnie”

 

“I will”

 

Jessica smiles and gently pats Sungmin’s cheek.

 

“Bye aunt. I’ll see you tomorrow”

 

“You drive safely”

 

Jessica nods her head and hugs Mrs. Cho. She happily waves her hand to all of them before leaving the room quietly.

Kyuhyun went inside his room after giving instructions to all their maids, especially to his wife’s nanny about what they need to do to take care of his wife while he’s away for three days. He sits down on his bed and stares at his wife whose eyes are already closed.

 

“Baby, are you already sleeping?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin shook her head. She’s feeling nauseated again.

 

“Are you ok?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods her head, lying to her husband. She’s afraid that Kyuhyun will call a doctor to check her up if she will tell him that she’s feeling nauseated.

 

“Are you going now?”

 

Sungmin asks sadly. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Yes”

 

“Is mom not going home?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“She needs to stay in the hospital because Siwon Hyung and Fany need her since their parents are not yet here in Seoul. She will go home tomorrow. I just don’t know what time”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin reaches her hand out. Kyuhyun holds it.

 

“Why?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin holds her husband’s hand.

 

“Don’t be away from me for a long time. Promise that you will go back soon. Don’t keep me waiting for you because I’m going to miss you that much and I will be sad and you don’t want me to be sad, right?”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun lay down beside Sungmin and hugs her.

 

“Why is it so hard for me to leave you? If it wasn’t for the company, I’m not going to go in Berlin. I will just stay here with you”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He suddenly doesn’t want to leave Seoul. It’s mainly because he’s worried about his wife. He really thinks that Sungmin is not feeling well and she’s sick. She just doesn’t want to tell it to him, so he won’t worry that much. The other reason why he doesn’t want to leave is because he will surely miss Sungmin that much and he knows that his wife is already feeling sad because they will be away from each other for three days.

 

“Just go. It’s for the company. Don’t worry about me because Jessica Unnie and mom are there. My nanny is also there as well as Ahjumma and all our helpers here. Just don’t stay in Berlin for a long time or else I will really cry”

 

“Ok”

 

“You take care and just call me if you have time. I’m going to sleep now Kyu. I’ll just see you when you return after your Berlin trip. Let’s make our baby when you return ok”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Ok. Don’t be a hard headed girl. If you’re not feeling well, don’t go to school anymore. Just stay here and take a rest. I’ll be the one who will talk to your Dean and professors about your absences. Don’t skip meals ok”

 

“Ok”

 

“I’m going now”

 

Sungmin nods her head. Kyuhyun softly kisses his wife’s wonderful lips.

 

“I love you so much Min”

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

“You go to sleep now. I’ll be back soon. That’s a promise”

 

Kyuhyun slowly let go of his wife. He kisses Sungmin’s lips before getting off of the bed. He covers Sungmin’s body with a blanket and stares at her for the meantime before going out of his room.

After Kyuhyun’s Berlin trip…

 

 

Sungmin and Seungri went at the student council’s office after their first class in the morning to get the modules that they need to teach to their respective students next week. The private tutor project of the student council officers will officially start next week and Sungmin and Seungri are part of the volunteers who are going to teach those students who are having a hard time in a certain subject.

 

“Your class is already finish?”

 

Heechul asks Sungmin and Seungri as she hands them the modules.

 

“Our first class is done Noona. Our next class will start after thirty minutes. Minnie and I decided to go here first and get the modules for our students next week”

 

Seungri happily told Heechul.

 

“We’re just going to give you the names of your students next week, Monday because we’re still finalizing the lists of all the volunteers and the lists of all the students who must take the one on one tutorial. We also need to finalize how many students per volunteer”

 

Youngwoon informs Sungmin and Seungri.

 

“Minnie, are you ok?”

 

Zhoumi asks upon noticing Sungmin being quiet and she looks really pale and it seems that she’s sick and really not feeling well.

 

“I’m fine. I’m just tired”

 

Sungmin lied. The truth is, she’s feeling dizzy and nauseated and she wants to throw up. Her head is also aching and she feels weak and really tired.

 

“Are you sure?”

 

Zhoumi asks with concern.

 

“Do you want us to bring you at the infirmary?”

 

Heechul asks worriedly. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“No thanks. I’m fine Chullie Unnie and Mimi Unnie. I’m just really tired. Seungri and I will go to our next class now. See you later”

 

Sungmin told them.

 

“You watch over her ok”

 

Youngwoon told Seungri.

 

“Yes Hyung”

 

Seungri told Youngwoon.

 

“We’re going now. We will be back later during our lunch break”

 

Seungri told them. She holds Sungmin’s free hand as they start walking slowly. Sungmin suddenly stops walking.

 

“Minnie, is there a problem?”

 

Seungri asks worriedly. Sungmin didn’t answer. She drops all her things on the floor. Heechul, Youngwoon and Zhoumi quickly stand and run towards Sungmin to check her.

 

“Minnie, are you ok?”

 

Heechul asks worriedly. Sungmin didn’t answer. She let go of Seungri’s hand as she suddenly passes out; it’s good that Youngwoon catches her or else she will end up on the floor and hurt herself.

 

“Aigoo! What happen?”

 

Zhoumi asks as they all start to panic. Youngwoon carries Sungmin on his arms.

 

“She passes out. We need to bring her at the infirmary”

 

Youngwoon told them. He looks at Heechul and Zhoumi.

 

“Call her husband”

 

Youngwoon orders the girls before he runs outside with Seungri to rush Sungmin at the infirmary.

 

“What are we going to do? Kyu Oppa went to Berlin, right? Do you think he’s already back here in Seoul?”

 

Zhoumi asks. Heechul shook her head.

 

“I don’t know. Let’s just call their mansion. Maybe Minnie’s mother in law or cousin in law is there”

 

“Ok”

 

Heechul quickly runs towards Ryeowook’s desk and grabs the telephone on her cousin’s desk.

 

“What’s the number?”

 

Heechul asks Zhoumi who scans her mobile phone for the landline number in Cho mansion.

 

“7931550”

 

Zhoumi dictates the number. Heechul dials the number on the telephone.

 

“Good morning. Cho mansion. How may I help you?”

 

The head maid answers the call.

 

“May I speak with Ms. Cho Sungmin’s mother in law please?”

 

Heechul asks.

 

“Who is this please? Do you have an appointment with Ma’am or is she expecting a call from you?”

 

The head maid asks. Heechul shook her head.

 

“This is Kim Heechul speaking. I’m from Korea University and I’m Cho Sungmin’s friend”

 

Heechul told the head maid who nods her head upon remembering her.

 

“Oh! It’s you young lady Heechul. I remember you”

 

“Can I please talk to Minnie’s mother in law? Is Kyu Oppa already back in Seoul?”

 

Heechul asks.

 

“Young master will be back today. His driver just left to go at the airport and young master’s arrival”

 

“I see. Is Minnie’s mother in law there?”

 

Heechul asks. The head maid nods her head.

 

“Yes”

 

“Can I talk to her?”

 

Heechul asks.

 

“I’ll connect the call to her room. Please wait for a moment young lady Heechul”

 

“Thanks”

 

Heechul waits for the meantime as the head maid connects her call at Mrs. Cho’s bedroom.

 

“Hi Chullie. What can I do for you?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks as she answers the call.

 

“Ma’am, I just want to inform you that we rushed Minnie at the infirmary”

 

Heechul told Mrs. Cho whose eyes grow big upon hearing her.

 

“What happen to my baby girl? Is she alright?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks as she starts to panic. Heechul shook her head.

 

“We don’t know Ma’am. She suddenly passes out. She’s pale and it seems that she’s not feeling well. Maybe she’s sick. Youngwoon and Seungri brought her at the infirmary. Mimi and I will follow after this phone call”

 

Heechul told Mrs. Cho who quickly gets off of her bed and went inside her walk-in closet to change her clothes.

 

“Ok. I’m going there now. Please watch my baby girl for me”

 

Mrs. Cho told Heechul, feeling really worried about her daughter in law. Heechul nods her head.

 

“No problem Ma’am. Mimi and Youngwoon will wait for you at the lobby of the infirmary. We’re going to watch over Minnie for the meantime. Please take care on your way here”

 

“Ok”

 

Mrs. Cho nods her head.

 

“Thanks a lot Chullie. If Minnie already gains her consciousness, tell her that I’m already on my way there and Kyu will arrive today. His driver already fetches him at Incheon International Airport”

 

Mrs. Cho told Heechul.

 

“No problem Ma’am”

 

Heechul told Mrs. Cho before hanging up.

 

“So?”

 

Zhoumi asks Heechul while staring at her worriedly.

 

“Minnie’s mother in law is already on her way here. Let’s follow Youngwoon and Seungri now at the infirmary”

 

Heechul told Zhoumi.

 

“Wait a second Chullie. I need to do something first”

 

Zhoumi runs towards her desk and opens her drawer. She gets her post-it note and write something on it and leaves it to their message board so that the other officers who will arrive at the student council’s office will know that they are at the infirmary.

 

“Let’s go now”

 

Zhoumi told Heechul. They pick Sungmin’s things on the floor and went out of the office. Heechul locks the door and puts the ‘Close’ sign on the door before she drags Zhoumi with her.

“Tell driver ahjusshi to prepare my limousine. I need to go at Korea University and fetch Minnie”

 

Mrs. Cho orders the head maid.

 

“What happen aunt? Why are you panicking? You look so worried. What happen to Min?”

 

Jessica asks with concern.

 

“Your cousin in law passes out in school”

 

Mrs. Cho told her niece, feeling worried about her daughter in law. She was trying to contact Kyuhyun, but his mobile phone is still off.

 

“Why? What happen to her?”

 

Jessica asks worriedly. Mrs. Cho shook her head.

 

“I don’t know. Chullie just told me that Minnie looks sick and she’s pale. She told me that Sungmin suddenly passes out. Youngwoon and Seungri rushed her at the infirmary while she and Zhoumi contacted me to tell me the bad news”

 

Mrs. Cho told Jessica. She holds her forehead.

 

“OMO! I think Minnie is sick. Maybe because she’s not eating properly lately and she never goes out of the room. She always wants to be alone and locked herself inside Kyu’s room. Maybe our Minnie is already feeling depressed because Kyu is always away”

 

Mrs. Cho told her niece. Jessica nods her head, agreeing to her aunt because she also notices Sungmin isolating herself from them.

 

“Maybe she becomes sick because of depression. When will Kyu arrive?”

 

Jessica asks.

 

“Today. I’m trying to contact him to tell him about Minnie. But his mobile phone is still off. Maybe he’s still inside the plane”

 

Mrs. Cho sighs sadly.

 

“Ma’am, driver ahjusshi is already waiting outside. It’s time to leave now”

 

The head maid told Mrs. Cho.

 

“Arasso”

 

Mrs. Cho told the head maid.

 

“I’m going with you aunt. I’m worried about Min”

 

Jessica told her aunt, but Mrs. Cho shook her head.

 

“No need Jess. Just stay here and wait for your cousin. You call Doctor Wang and tell her to go here, so she can check on Minnie before we bring her to the hospital later”

 

“Ok. Please take care. I will wait for you, Min and Kyu”

 

Mrs. Cho nods her head and leaves the mansion with her nanny.

Kyuhyun was sitting comfortably inside his limousine. He just arrives in Seoul and he’s already on his way to Cho International Group of Companies to finish some important business plan there and to get some important documents for the companie’s expansion in New York. He also has a meeting with his business partners for their new product that will be introduced in Sydney and Melbourne at the end of the month. Kyuhyun opens his mobile phone to check if he has an important message in his voicemail.

 

“One voicemail message”

 

Kyuhyun whispers. He calls his voicemail and listens to the message; it’s from his mother.

 

“Call me immediately when you receive this. Mom”

 

Kyuhyun hangs up and presses his mother’s number.

 

“Kyu, where are you?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks as she answers the call. Kyuhyun can sense trouble because his mother’s voice is a bit shaky and it sounds like something bad happens.

 

“I’m on my way at Cho International Group of Companies. Why? Did something wrong happen?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, feeling a bit nervous.

 

“Don’t go to work today. You go home now. I’m on my way at Korea University. I’ll fetch Minnie there”

 

“Why? What happen to my wife?”

 

Kyuhyun asks as he starts to worry about Sungmin.

 

“Chullie called me awhile ago. She told me that Minnie passes out in school and they don’t know why. They already bring her at the infirmary and I’m already on my way there to check her and to fetch her”

 

“I’m also going there”

 

“No!”

 

Mrs. Cho shook her head.

 

“Just cancel all your appointment for this day. I need to talk to you at home. You go home now and wait for us there. Jess is there. You and she should call Doctor Wang. She needs to check on Minnie first before we bring her to the hospital later”

 

“But mom, I’m worried about Min”

 

“Just go home. I’ll be the one who will fetch her. You call Doctor Wang ok”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son, giving her instructions. Kyuhyun nods his head worriedly.

 

“Please call me if you already arrive there. Update me about my wife”

 

“Ok. Don’t worry too much. Minnie will be fine. You go home now and wait for us there”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son before hanging up. Kyuhyun starts feeling uncomfortable because he feels nervous and really worried about Sungmin.

 

“Oh my God! What happen to my wife?”

 

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. He opens the partition window to approach his driver.

 

“Ahjusshi, we need to go. I’m no longer going at the company today. Just drive me home”

 

Kyuhyun told his driver.

 

“No problem young master”

 

“Thank you”

 

Kyuhyun told his driver before closing the partition window. Kyuhyun’s driver takes a u-turn to change their way. Kyuhyun presses Onew’s number to give him a call and informs him that he won’t go to work on that day and to cancel all her appointments and to re-schedule it on the next day because of emergency at home.

 

“I hope my baby is fine. I’m worried now”

 

Kyuhyun whispers while thinking about his wife, feeling very worried about her.

*CHO MANSION*

 

 

Kyuhyun was staring at his unconscious wife worriedly. Sungmin is not yet regaining her consciousness since she passes out in school.

 

“Baby, please wake up now. I’m worried”

 

Kyuhyun told his sleeping wife while her hair gently.

 

“Please don’t leave me”

 

Kyuhyun whispers as tears start forming in his eyes. He feels so scared that something very serious is already happening on his wife and he’s really afraid that Sungmin will leave him. He’s very worried about the condition of his wife and that’s why he’s already getting paranoid.

 

“I shouldn’t leave you, knowing that you’re not feeling well. I shouldn’t fly in Berlin and leave you. I should have stay here in Seoul and just take care of you. I’m so stupid to put my work on top more than you. I’m sorry baby…please wake up now. I want to hear your voice…please”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, begging her to wake up. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand tightly and puts it on his cheek.

 

“Min, please wake up”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, controlling his tears from falling. He’s already afraid because his wife is still sleeping and it seems that she will never wake up anymore.

 

“Kyu…Kyu…Kyu…”

 

Sungmin starts calling her husband’s name.

 

“Baby…I’m here…please open your eyes”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin as he starts kissing Sungmin’s hand, hoping that she’s already awake and will open her eyes.

 

“Kyu”

 

“Baby, I’m here…open your eyes”

 

Sungmin slowly opens her eyes.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Kyuhyun quickly hugs his wife.

 

“Tell me what’s wrong. Please tell me what hurts. Don’t leave me baby. Please don’t”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife worriedly as he hugs her, never letting her go.

 

“I’m not going to leave you. What happen to me? Where am I?”

 

Sungmin asks. She can’t remember anything. Kyuhyun raises his head and stares at his wife who still looks pale. He slowly shook his head.

 

“I don’t know. Your friends just told mom that you pass out. How are you feeling right now? Are you sick or something?”

 

Kyuhyun asks as he holds Sungmin’s forehead.

 

“Are you hurt? Did you fall on the floor? Tell me baby”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, feeling worried. He starts checking Sungmin, checking if she had bruises or wounds or maybe sprains.

 

“Kyu, I’m fine. You help me sit”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun holds her and helps her to sit on the bed. He puts two pillows on his wife’s back for her to feel more comfortable while she’s sitting down on their bed.

 

“My legs are cramping Kyu. It’s a bit painful”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun. She bites her lower lip because of the mild pain. Kyuhyun gets a pillow and rests his wife’s legs on it and starts massaging her legs.

 

“What really happen to you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks worriedly while giving Sungmin a gentle massage on her legs. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I really don’t know what happen. All I can remember is I’m feeling dizzy and I want to throw up and then the sounds in my surrounding are slowly vanishing and I don’t know what happens next. The only thing that I know is that you’re calling me and you told me to open my eyes”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun.

 

“Are you sick?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods weakly.

 

“I think I’m going to die soon. Kyu, I have a very serious illness. I’m just afraid to tell it to you because I don’t want you to worry”

 

“Very serious illness? What kind of illness is that?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, feeling afraid again. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I don’t know. But I am sure that I am seriously ill. You see. I am throwing up every morning and sometimes in the afternoon or evening or whenever I’m going to eat, I’ll throw up after and that’s why I don’t want to eat anymore. I just want to lock myself here in our room. I’m always feeling very dizzy and nauseated. I’m always having cramps and I always feel sleepy and really tired and weak and lazy. Kyu, I’m scared. I don’t want to die soon”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as her eyes start getting teary.

 

“Yah! Stop talking like that. I will never allow you to die. You can’t die ok”

 

Kyuhyun stops massaging his wife’s legs and hugs her, feeling scared that his wife will die and leave him soon.

 

“You will not leave me. I don’t want, so stop thinking like that. There’s nothing wrong with you. Please…I don’t want you to leave because I don’t know how I will be able to live without you. Stop telling me those things ok. Don’t scare me like this”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, hugging her tight. They heard a soft knock on the door. Mrs. Cho went inside the room with Jessica and Doctor Kang, Doctor Wang’s fellow doctor.

 

“Doctor Kang is here. Doctor Wang is currently in Cambodia for a medical mission. That’s why Doctor Kang will take charge first while Doctor Wang is away”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son.

 

“Doctor? What for?”

 

Sungmin asks nervously.

 

“We need to know what is happening to you. The doctor in your school advice mom to let the family doctor check on you because when they check you there, they didn’t find anything. We just want to make sure that you’re really fine”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife before looking at Doctor Kang.

 

“Please check my wife now”

 

Kyuhyun told Doctor Kang.

 

“I need to extract blood from the patient and brings it with me, so they can study it in the laboratory for us to know your wife’s illness”

 

Doctor Kang informs Kyuhyun.

 

“Kyu, I don’t want. Please don’t do this to me. Tell him not to extract blood from me”

 

“Baby, we need to know what is happening to you ok”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin who keeps shaking her head slowly, feeling scared. Doctor Kang gets his tourniquet inside the pocket of his lab gown. He holds Sungmin’s right hand and was about to tie the tourniquet when Sungmin quickly pulls her right hand away from the doctor’s grip.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin hugs her husband really tight and buries her beautiful face on Kyuhyun’s chest.

 

“Please…”

 

Sungmin starts crying because of her fear to doctors and hospitals.

 

“I don’t want. Tell the doctor not to extract blood from me…please, I’m scared”

 

“But baby…”

 

“I don’t want. Kyu, don’t do this to me. I’m scared. Please don’t do this to me. Don’t let the doctor hurt me. I don’t want…I’m scared, please stop now”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun stares at his wife worriedly. Sungmin is trembling because of fear and she’s already crying hard. Kyuhyun is afraid that his wife will only have a trauma if he insists that the doctor should check on her. Kyuhyun hugs Sungmin.

 

“Kyu…please…I’m scared”

 

Sungmin whispers as she hugs Kyuhyun tightly.

 

“Shhhhh…ok, the doctor will go out now”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. He looks at Doctor Kang.

 

“Please wait for me outside. I just need to calm my wife and talk to her”

 

Kyuhyun told Doctor Kang.

 

“No problem”

 

Doctor Kang told Kyuhyun before he leaves the room with Mrs. Cho and Jessica.

 

“Stop crying my baby Min. I already send the doctor away”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He starts rubbing his wife’s back gently to calm her down.

 

“Please don’t leave me Kyu. Tell the doctor not to go back anymore. I’m scared”

 

“Ok. The doctor already leaves and he won’t come back unless I told him to do so”

 

“Don’t let him come back”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun, still crying.

 

“Baby…”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s beautiful pale face between his hands and stares at her worriedly.

 

“Stop crying. I don’t want my baby to cry. The doctor already leaves. No need to be scared now. I already send him away. Stop crying”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, wiping her tears away.

 

“I’m sorry if I scare you like this. All of us are really worried about you, especially me. I want to know what is happening to you and I’m not going to find it out if you won’t let the doctor check on you”

 

“But I’m scared”

 

“I am here”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin before hugging her.

 

“I won’t leave you alone. Do you want me to worry that much about you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“Then you need to allow Doctor Kang to check you up. I want to make sure that nothing is wrong with my baby Min, so I won’t worry that much”

 

“Are you not going to worry about me anymore if I go with you to see a doctor?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun nods.

 

“Yes. Let’s make a deal. I will send Doctor Kang away. I will tell him that we’re just going to visit his clinic later after lunch because you still need to take a rest and you’re not yet ready for the check-up. He won’t check you as of the moment, but we will go to his clinic later after eating our lunch together. Is that ok?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, making a deal with his wife. Sungmin nods her head.

 

“Promise that you won’t leave me”

 

“I promise”

 

“Ok”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and wipes Sungmin’s tears away.

 

“Stop crying now. I’m here. We’re together. No need to be scared. I won’t leave you. I will stay beside you. I’m just going out to talk to Doctor Kang and tell him about our deal”

 

“Don’t leave me”

 

“I will be back. I’m just going to talk to Doctor Kang”

 

“No…don’t leave me. I want you to stay beside me”

 

Sungmin told her husband as she starts crying again while hugging Kyuhyun tightly. She doesn’t want to let her husband go.

 

“Ok. I’m not going to leave anymore. Please don’t cry. I will just stay here with you”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, wiping his tears away. Sungmin stops crying. She just hugs Kyuhyun tight, making sure that he won’t go anywhere.

 

“I’ll just get the telephone”

 

“No!”

 

Sungmin shook her head, hugging Kyuhyun tight when he tries to move to get the telephone.

 

“I need to get the telephone baby. I’m going to call mom”

 

“I want us to be like this. Don’t move”

 

“You’re giving me hard time”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife as he sighs. He just gets his mobile phone in his pocket and dials the number at the living room.

 

“Yeoboseo”

 

The head maid answers the telephone.

 

“Ahjumma, please tell mom to tell Doctor Kang that Min and I will just visit his clinic today after lunch. Min needs to take a rest for awhile and she’s not yet ready for the check-up as of the moment. That’s why we’re just going to visit his clinic later after lunch”

 

Kyuhyun told the head maid before hanging up. Kyuhyun states at his wife who never wants to let go of him.

 

“Seriously baby, we look like Siamese twins because you don’t want to let go of me”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He puts his mobile phone under his pillow.

 

“Baby, I need to go at the bathroom and pee”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin.

 

“I’m going with you”

 

“Just stay here and lay down. You need to take a rest. I’ll be back immediately”

 

“I’m going with you”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun with teary eyes. Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“Arasso. You let go of me now, so I can stand”

 

“I don’t want”

 

Sungmin shook her head.

 

“Yah! How can I stand and pee if you will always cling to me like that?”

 

“Just don’t pee”

 

“But I need to pee now”

 

Kyuhyun tries his best to stand even though his wife is clinging on him.

 

“Why are you giving me a hard time? Are you mad because I went in Berlin?”

 

Kyuhyun asks as he slowly stands up with Sungmin.

 

“I’m going to help you wear your bedroom slippers, so please let go of me for the meantime”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin shook her head, hugging her husband’s waist tightly.

 

“The floor in the bathroom is cold. You need to wear your slippers. So please, let me go for the meantime because I need to get your bedroom slippers”

 

“I don’t want”

 

“Min, why are you like that? I’m already having a hard time”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He takes a deep breath, controlling his temper.

 

“Ok. You just step on my feet”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. He wears his bedroom slippers before helping Sungmin to step on his feet. Sungmin smiles when Kyuhyun starts walking, carrying her through his feet.

 

“Are you playing on me brat kid?”

 

Kyuhyun asks while staring at his beautiful wife who is already smiling brightly. Sungmin shook her head as she wraps her arms around Kyuhyun’s neck and rests her head on Kyuhyun’s chest.

 

“You’re such a baby”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife as he smiles. He wraps his arms around Sungmin, holding her tightly, making sure that his wife won’t fall and hurt herself. Kyuhyun continue walking slowly, holding back the liquid that is about to go out. He finally reaches the bathroom. Kyuhyun opens the door and went inside. He walks towards the toilet bowl.

 

“You go down first baby”

 

Kyuhyun instructed. He helps his wife to go down. Sungmin went at his back and stand there and give him a back hug.

 

“Min, I’m going to pee”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife.

 

“You pee. I’m not going to do anything. I will only hug you like this”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she giggles happily. Kyuhyun sighs and didn’t argue anymore because he doesn’t have any other choice but to pee while Sungmin is clinging on him. Sungmin smiles and rests her head on Kyuhyun’s back while he pee.

 

“I love you Kyu”

 

“You’re such a brat kid”

 

Kyuhyun told her as he starts fixing his dress pants.

 

“I said I love you. You supposed to say I love you too and not that”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she pouts cutely. Kyuhyun flashes the toilet and slowly turns around to face his wife who is pouting cutely at him. He helps Sungmin to step on his feet again. Kyuhyun holds his wife’s beautiful face and brushes his nose on hers.

 

“I love you too”

 

Kyuhyun whispers before giving Sungmin a sweet peck on her lips, making her smile.

 

“You hold on tightly to my hands ok. I’m going to walk now”

 

“Ok”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly. Kyuhyun holds her hand tightly as he starts walking slowly, carrying Sungmin through his feet. Sungmin starts laughing softly.

 

“You’re playing on me, right?”

 

Kyuhyun asks while staring at his wife who seems to enjoy her ride. Sungmin shook her head while laughing softly.

 

“I’m just happy because this is so sweet and it’s fun you know”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun.

 

“Are you not scared anymore?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods while enjoying stepping on Kyuhyun’s feet as they walk happily feet on feet.

 

“We’re going to the doctor now?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods.

 

“After lunch. Let’s sleep first ok”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun. She suddenly laughs when Kyuhyun carefully carries her like a bride and gently laid her on their bed.

 

“Kyu, hug me. Don’t go far away from me”

 

“I will. Just lay down”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin before lying down beside her. He wraps his arms around Sungmin, cuddling her in his arms.

 

“Don’t leave me. I still want to feel your arms around me like this when I wake up”

 

“Ok. Let’s go to sleep now”

 

Kyuhyun whispers. He starts his wife’s hair gently and starts singing softly to put his wife to sleep. Sungmin smiles and happily buries her beautiful face on Kyuhyun’s chest. She slowly closes her eyes as she listens to her husband’s warm voice that makes her feel loved, safe and protected. Kyuhyun keeps on singing while Sungmin’s hair gently until she finally falls asleep. Kyuhyun carefully let go of his wife and rests her head on his pillow. He carefully gets off of the bed, avoiding waking Sungmin and quietly leaves his room. He looks for his mother downstairs. She and Jessica are having a chat at the living room, worrying about Sungmin.

 

“Mom”

 

Mrs. Cho raises her head and stares at her son who is walking towards them.

 

“Where is Min?”

 

Jessica asks.

 

“I put her to sleep”

 

Kyuhyun answers his cousin before sitting down on the couch.

 

“How is she?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks with concern in her voice.

 

“She’s ok now. I manage to calm her down and convince her to go at Doctor Kang’s clinic later after lunch”

 

Kyuhyun answers his mother. He sighs sadly and stares at Mrs. Cho worriedly.

 

“Mom, what really happens to my wife?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Mrs. Cho shook her head.

 

“We don’t know. Jess and I are thinking that she’s being depressed because you’re away from her. She locks herself in her room and sometimes she’s not eating. She always told us that she doesn’t have an appetite. She’s really acting weird lately and she’s always lazy in the morning. She’s having a hard time waking up. There are times wherein she will skip her morning class. But there are times that she’s fine in the morning and then feeling sick in the afternoon, especially in the evening”

 

Mrs. Cho informs her son, feeling worried about her daughter in law.

 

“Why didn’t you tell me? You supposed to give me a call. So, she’s always lying to me whenever I’m going to give her a call and ask about her condition. You supposed to update me. She told me that she’s feeling weak, lazy and always sleepy. She also told me that she’s dizzy and feeling nauseated most of the time and she’s throwing up whenever she’s eating something. You supposed to bring her to the doctor upon noticing her acting weird”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother.

 

“Is she pregnant?

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“No. She just has her period before. Why?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“Maybe she’s already experiencing pregnancy symptoms. I didn’t know that she’s throwing up and she’s experiencing those things that you just told me because she always locked herself in your room and she doesn’t want to talk to anyone and those things that you just told me are already signs and symptoms of pregnancy”

 

“She told that she’s sick and she’s worried that it’s very serious”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother with teary eyes, worrying about his wife.

 

“Maybe she thinks that she has a serious illness because of those things and that’s why she doesn’t want to show herself to us. Did she tell you how long does she have her period before?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Just bring her to Doctor Kang first to make sure that she’s really fine and nothing is wrong with her just like what the doctor in her school told me earlier. Actually, she advices me to bring Minnie to her OB because she’s thinks that Minnie is pregnant. But we need to make sure that there’s really nothing wrong with her before you bring her to Doctor Park after seeing Doctor Kang today”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“I’m going to return in my room now. She might cry if she wakes up without me by her side. Seriously, she’s giving me a hard time. She’s such a hard headed kid, she’s a brat now and she always wants to cling on me. I’m having a headache because of her”

 

Kyuhyun told them.

 

“Oh! She’s craving for you”

 

Jessica teases Kyuhyun.

 

“Don’t tease me Jess. I don’t want to assume that mom is right about my wife being pregnant. I might feel depressed if the doctor will tell us that it’s negative. I’m already having my phobia because whenever we’re going to Doctor Park, it’s always negative”

 

Kyuhyun told Jessica.

 

“But this time it will be positive now. Trust aunt. She already experience those things”

 

“I hope so”

 

Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“Min and I will eat lunch outside. Maybe she doesn’t like the food that our chefs are cooking for her and that’s why she doesn’t want to eat. We’re just going to have our lunch at the Peninsula before we see Doctor Kang and Doctor Park”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother before returning to his room.

 

“Aunt, are you hundred percent sure about it? Do you really think that Min is pregnant?”

 

Jessica asks her aunt, feeling excited for her cousin and cousin in law. Mrs. Cho nods her head and stares at Jessica happily.

 

“Positive”

 

Mrs. Cho told Jessica happily, making her giggles happily.

 

“Oh my goodness aunt! Finally, there will already be little Kyu or little Min to arrive in the family. It’s so wonderful. After Fany, it’s already Min’s turn to be a mom. I wonder what will be the gender of their first born. Baby girl or baby boy? I’m so excited”

 

Jessica told Mrs. Cho.

 

“I’m also excited and really happy. Finally! I’m going to have a grandchild and I’m sure of it”

 

Mrs. Cho giggles happily as she and Jessica hug each other, feeling really excited and very happy.

 

 

Meanwhile…

 

 

Kyuhyun was sitting beside his sleeping wife, watching her on her peaceful sleep.

 

“Are you really pregnant now?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. He carefully places his hand on Sungmin’s tummy, avoiding waking her. He touches her tummy happily. Kyuhyun slowly lay down. His gorgeous face is near Sungmin’s tummy.

 

“Little cherub, can you hear me?”

 

Kyuhyun asks in a soft voice.

 

“I hope mom is right. I hope that Doctor Park will tell me and mommy that you’re already inside her tummy. It will be wonderful if you’re already there. Sleep tight ok. We’re going to the doctor later. Don’t be scared. They won’t hurt you and mommy. I’m here for both of you, so no need to be scared. Please little cherub, please be inside mommy’s womb now”

 

Kyuhyun told the baby inside his wife’s tummy. He presses his ears on Sungmin’s tummy, hoping that their little cherub is already in his wife’s tummy.

Kyuhyun is staring at his wife worriedly as they sit quietly inside Doctor Kang’s clinic, waiting for him to arrive with the results of Sungmin’s laboratory test.

 

“Kyu, let’s go home now. They might extract blood from me again and I’m really scared”

 

“They won’t do that anymore”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand and softly kisses it.

 

“I’m not really comfortable in hospitals”

 

“We’re going home later. They are already done examining you. We just need to wait for Doctor Kang for the results. I need to know that you’re fine”

 

“I am fine. Please believe me”

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“I believe you. But we need to make sure. Baby, tell me the truth. Did you have a food poison or something? Why are you afraid to eat? You didn’t eat anything”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin worriedly. Sungmin holds her tummy.

 

“I’m already hungry. But I’m scared to it. I don’t want to throw up. It’s so hard Kyu”

 

Sungmin told her husband before hugging her.

 

“I’m already confused. I don’t understand what’s happening to me. I don’t want to think about it anymore because I don’t want to feel scared anymore”

 

“You’re fine. Just stop thinking negative things. Nothing is wrong with you”

 

“I hope so”

 

Kyuhyun hugs his wife to give her strength because he knows that Sungmin is really worried about her condition and about those strange things that she’s experiencing lately. Doctor Kang finally arrives in his clinic. He sits on his chair and stares at the couple.

 

“How’s my wife? Is there something wrong with her?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Doctor Kang shook his head.

 

“She’s normal. There’s nothing wrong with her. I really think that you need to bring her to her OB right away. Those strange things that she’s experiencing lately are already symptoms of pregnancy. You need to see her OB soon. You can bring all the result of the laboratory tests that we perform on her and show it to her OB”

 

Doctor Kang told the couple. Kyuhyun’s heart starts beating fast because of excitement.

 

“Meaning, my wife doesn’t have any serious illness?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, making sure that Sungmin is not sick, but really pregnant. Doctor Kang nods his head happily.

 

“Yes Mr. Cho. She’s completely normal. She’s not sick. She’s pregnant. Believe me. I may not be an OB, but I know she is pregnant”

 

Doctor Kang happily told the couple. Kyuhyun wants to jump because of happiness, but he controls his self from doing it because he still need to make sure of it and the only thing to fully confirm that his wife is 101% pregnant is to bring her to Doctor Park.

 

“Thanks a lot doctor. We’re going ahead. I’m going to bring her to her OB now. Thank you so much”

 

Kyuhyun told the doctor. He happily stands up.

 

“You’re not kidding right? My wife is really pregnant, right?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. He’s like a kid who keeps on repeating the same question over and over again because of curiosity. Doctor Kang nods his head.

 

“You’re not kidding”

 

“Yes Mr. Cho. You bring her to her OB and she will also tell you that your wife is absolutely pregnant”

 

“Ok. We’re going now. Thank you so much”

 

Kyuhyun shakes Doctor Kang’s hand before focusing his attention on his wife. He holds Sungmin’s hands and helps her to stand.

 

“Careful baby”

 

Kyuhyun whispers.

 

“Say goodbye to Doctor Kang now because we’re already going to see Doctor Park”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin bows her head.

 

“Thanks a lot Doctor Kang”

 

Sungmin told the doctor with a sweet smile on her lips, feeling happy to know that she’s already pregnant.

 

“You take care”

 

Doctor told Sungmin. Kyuhyun bows his head and leaves the clinic with his wife. They went at the parking lot of the hospital. Kyuhyun helps Sungmin to go inside his car.

 

“Kyu”

 

“Yes baby?”

 

Kyuhyun asks as he puts Sungmin’s seatbelt on.

 

“Do you think Doctor Kang is not lying?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun smiles and holds her tummy, making her smile.

 

“Why will he lie? Mom also told me awhile ago that she thinks that you’re pregnant. Baby, our little cherub is already here inside your tummy. We just need to confirm it with Doctor Park”

 

“Are you happy?”

 

Sungmin asks while smiling. Kyuhyun nods with teary eyes. He just can’t explain how happy he is. He wants to jump like a kid and scream at the top of his lungs to tell the whole world that his wife is already pregnant and he’s going to be a father soon. He wants to call all his business partners, his Vice-President as well as his secretaries and all the CEOs that he know just to tell them that he will be a father soon and he’s very happy. He even wants to roll on the ground because of the happiness that he can’t even explain. He’s feeling happy…very happy…really happy.

 

“I am so happy. I want to cry because of happiness and I just can’t explain my emotions right now. I suddenly want to throw a party and tell the whole world that our little cherub is finally inside your tummy”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife happily. He starts rubbing Sungmin’s tummy happily.

 

“Little cherub, we’re going to see mommy’s OB ok. Don’t be scared. We just need to confirm that you’re already there inside mommy’s womb. You behave ok”

 

Kyuhyun told the baby. Sungmin smiles when Kyuhyun kisses her tummy.

 

“How about me? Where’s my kiss?”

 

Sungmin asks happily. Kyuhyun smiles and softly kisses Sungmin’s wonderful lips.

 

“I love you so much. Just relax ok”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife happily. He softly kisses Sungmin’s hand before closing the car door gently. He runs towards the driver’s seat and went inside excitedly. Kyuhyun buckles his seatbelt, feeling his heart jumping because of joy and excitement.

 

“Let’s go?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods her head happily. Kyuhyun takes a deep breath. He starts his car and drives it away.

*CHA HOSPITAL*

 

 

Sunyoung happily went inside her clinic, holding Sungmin’s pregnancy test result.

 

“Sorry to keep you waiting”

 

Sunyoung told Kyuhyun and Sungmin as she sits on her chair. She stares at the lovely couple happily.

 

“Ok. Base on the blood test that Doctor Kang performs to Minnie at Samsung Medical Center and base on the blood test that we perform to Minnie here as well as the urine test. It’s positive. Minnie is absolutely pregnant. Three weeks to be exact. Congratulations Kyu and Minnie”

 

Sunyoung told the couple happily.

 

“It only means that I’m going to be a father soon?”

 

Kyuhyun asks as happiness keeps on flowing in his heart because of the good news. He’s happy because his birthday wishes are coming true. Sunyoung nods her head happily.

 

“Yes Kyu. You’re going to be a father soon just like Siwon”

 

Sunyoung told Kyuhyun happily. Kyuhyun suddenly stands up.

 

“Can I go out for awhile? I just need to scream”

 

Kyuhyun told Sunyoung. He went out of the clinic, leaving Sungmin inside with Doctor Park.

 

“Doctor, where did my husband go?”

 

Sungmin asks, feeling scared.

 

“Outside”

 

“Why?”

 

Sunyoung was about to speak to answer Sungmin’s question when they heard someone shouting happily outside; it’s Kyuhyun.

 

“EVERYONE! I’M GOING TO BE A FATHER SOON! MY WIFE IS ALREADY THREE WEEKS PREGNANT AND OUR LITTLE CHERUB IS ALREADY IN HER TUMMY! I’M SO HAPPY! VERY HAPPY! REALLY HAPPY! I LOVE YOU CHO SUNGMIN!”

 

Kyuhyun screams at the top of his lungs, happily announcing to the world that he’s going to be a father soon. He just ignores the weird glare of the people passing by.

 

“He’s so funny”

 

Sunyoung told Sungmin while laughing softly.

 

“So embarrassing”

 

Sungmin whispers.

 

“He’s proud and happy. I think he’s really excited to be a dad. So cute”

 

Sunyoung told Sungmin who nods her head. Kyuhyun returns inside the clinic.

 

“Done shouting now?”

 

Sunyoung asks. Kyuhyun nods like a kid. He goes back to his seat and holds Sungmin’s hand.

 

“Congratulation again to both of you. After Fany, it’s now Minnie’s time to be a mom and experience the wonders of pregnancy. I hope Jess will follow soon”

 

Sunyoung told the couple happily.

 

“So, I’m going to prescribe vitamins and milk that Minnie should take while she’s pregnant”

 

Sunyoung told them as she starts writing on the prescription pad.

 

“She needs to take it every day. The milk will be every morning and evening. Avoid doing strenuous activities, physical, mental and emotional stress that will lead to miscarriage. Morning sickness is always hard. If she will experience heavy dizziness and throwing up all the time and if morning sickness is hard, bring her here immediately”

 

Sunyoung told them. She gives the sheet of prescription pad to Kyuhyun.

 

“Follow the instructions that I wrote there. This is Minnie’s first pregnancy and it will be very hard for her, so you need to take care of her more and she always need to take a lot of care and rest. Follow what she wants and give what she wants to avoid miscarriage”

 

“Yes doctor”

 

Kyuhyun told Sunyoung while nodding his head happily.

 

“Ok…”

 

Sunyoung takes a deep breath as her face suddenly becomes serious.

 

“I have two major concerns on Minnie’s pregnancy. First, I will advice her to just continue her studies at home. It won’t be advisable for her to go to school because she will be having a hard time because of her condition. Stress from school is a big no no. She can study, but at home and no longer in school to avoid miscarriage”

 

Sungmin suddenly feels sad upon hearing Doctor Park. But she will follow every advice of her OB because she wants her baby to be safe and healthy.

 

“Second…”

 

Sunyoung stares at the couple sadly. Kyuhyun’s heart starts beating fast not because of happiness, but because of fear. He suddenly feels nervous upon noticing Sunyoung’s sad face.

 

“Well, pregnancy news is always happy for couples. I don’t want to ruin the happy atmosphere, but I really need to be honest with both of you. Actually, I have read Minnie’s illness. It’s Leber’s con amaurosis and it’s hereditary. I’m really sad to tell you that there is a 50% chance that the baby will inherit the illness”

 

Sunyoung informs the couple sadly. Kyuhyun’s happiness is starting to fade slowly upon hearing the sad news.

 

“My baby will be blind like me as well?”

 

Sungmin asks sadly. Sunyoung nods.

 

“He has a chance to be blind as well like you”

 

Sunyoung told Sungmin sadly.

 

“No. My baby can’t be blind like me. It will be hard for him. Please do something Doctor Park. I don’t want my baby to be blind”

 

Sungmin told her doctor as tears start falling from her eyes.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin hugs her husband as she starts to cry. Kyuhyun’s heart suddenly breaks into pieces upon seeing his wife crying because of the sad news.

 

“Please tell Doctor Park to do something. I don’t want our baby to be blind. He can’t be blind like me. Please do something about it. Please Kyu…he can’t be blind…he can’t be blind. Please tell Doctor Park to do something about it. I’m going to hate myself forever if our baby will be blind like me”

 

Sungmin told her husband as she starts crying hard. Sunyoung feels sad for her.

 

“Shhhh….”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between his hands.

 

“Stop crying baby. It will be bad for our little cherub. We’re going to do everything, so our little cherub won’t be blind. Stop crying. Doctor Park will do everything for him to be healthy and normal”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, hugging her. He looks at Sunyoung sadly.

 

“Is there something that we can do about it?”

 

Kyuhyun asks sadly.

 

“There are things that I’m going to ask you to do. Kyu, you’re the husband. I want you to watch over Minnie. You need to make sure that she’s fine and she’s eating nutritious food. She needs to be healthy all the time because a healthy mom means a healthy baby. We’re going to perform a certain test to find out if the baby has an illness. Minnie will undergo AFT or commonly known as amniocentesis test. It’s a medical procedure used in prenatal diagnosis of chromosomal abnormalities or fetal infections”

 

Sunyoung told them.

 

“We will get a small amount of amniotic fluid from the amniotic sac surrounding the developing fetus which contains fetal tissues. We will examine the fetal DNA for possible genetic abnormalities”

 

Sunyoung told the couple, explaining the medical procedure to them.

 

“Now, if we detect that the baby is positive for genetic abnormalities, we can plan his eye surgery as early as possible after Minnie gave birth to him. We can perform gene therapy once the baby comes out from the womb of his mother and then an eye surgery if he is positive of genetic abnormalities”

 

Sunyoung explains.

 

“When can my wife undergo the test?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“We will perform the test once Minnie is already 15 weeks pregnant to avoid miscarriage. As of now, I want you to take good care of her. We will have her first ultrasound when she’s already 13 weeks pregnant, just to make sure that we will already hear the heartbeat. I need to see Minnie two times a month to monitor the baby and to make sure that they are both fine”

 

Sunyoung told them. Kyuhyun nods at her.

 

“Questions?”

 

Sunyoung asks.

 

“Min is having a hard time eating. She doesn’t want to eat because she’s throwing up when she’s eating”

 

Kyuhyun informs Sunyoung.

 

“Minnie can eat light meal whenever she’s feeling hungry or maybe you can find food that she won’t throw up when she eats it”

 

Sunyoung advice Kyuhyun.

 

“Is Minnie going to undergo eye surgery or eye examinations?”

 

Sunyoung asks. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Yes. She will have her eye surgery soon. Her doctor from Sydney will fly here next week”

 

Kyuhyun informs Sunyoung.

 

“Ok. Please tell the eye doctor not to perform any test or medical procedure without my consent. I need to talk to Minnie’s eye doctor when he arrives here in Seoul. You need to bring him to me ok”

 

“Ok”

 

“Anything else?”

 

Sunyoung asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Don’t hesitate to call me if something went wrong or if you have concerns”

 

“Ok”

 

Kyuhyun stands up.

 

“Thanks doctor”

 

Kyuhyun told Sunyoung before shaking her hand.

 

“You take care of Min. I’ll see you and Minnie on her 5^th week”

 

“Ok. Thank you Doctor Park. We’re going ahead now”

 

Sunyoung nods at Kyuhyun.

 

“Come baby. Let’s go home now, so you can already take a rest”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He helps her stand.

 

“Thank you doctor”

 

“Don’t be sad ok. The baby will be fine. We’re going to do everything for him to healthy, so don’t be sad and worry too much. It will be bad for you and for the baby. Just be healthy and happy all the time”

 

Sunyoung told Sungmin, comforting her. Sungmin didn’t answer. She’s holding back heart tears from falling and she starts blaming herself upon knowing that her baby might inherit her illness.

 

“You take care both of you”

 

Sunyoung told the couple.

 

“We’re going ahead now. Thanks again doctor”

 

Kyuhyun told Sunyoung before he leaves her clinic sadly with Sungmin.

The couple arrives at the Cho mansion after seeing Doctor Kang and Doctor Park. Mrs. Cho and Jessica are already waiting happily for them at the living room, feeling very excited as they anticipate the announcement of Sungmin’s pregnancy. Mrs. Cho suddenly feels worried when she saw Sungmin crying. Her nanny accompanies her upstairs.

 

“What happen?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks as she stares at her son whose eyes are puffy because of crying. Kyuhyun hugs his mother as he starts to cry again.

 

“Sweetheart, what’s wrong? Why are you and Minnie crying?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Jessica stares at his cousin worriedly.

 

“Mom, Min is pregnant…three weeks”

 

Kyuhyun told them. Mrs. Cho and Jessica smile brightly, feeling happy.

 

“Then why are you crying if your wife is already pregnant? You supposed to be happy”

 

“I am happy”

 

“So, it’s tears of joy?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Doctor Park told Min that our little cherub has a 50% chance of inheriting Min’s illness. It breaks my heart into pieces”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother as he starts crying hard. Mrs. Cho and Jessica’s heart starts aching upon hearing the sad news.

 

“It’s hard for me to see Min having a hard time because of her condition. And now, it’s harder for me to see her crying and blaming herself because of the sad news. Mom, tell me what should I do. Why is this thing happening? My heart is aching so much right now and I just don’t know what to do anymore. My wife is hurt and sad and I don’t know what to do”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother as tears keep on falling from his eyes. Kyuhyun slowly sits on the floor as he cries hard.

 

“It’s going to be hard for both of us if our baby will be blind. But it will be harder for Min because she will only blame herself all the time. Mom, what will I do? Please tell me what to do…please”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother, begging her. Jessica feels hurt seeing her cousin crying like that. Mrs. Cho slowly sits on her heels and hugs her son.

 

“You need to be strong for your wife and baby. Min needs you. Don’t show her that you’re weak. You need to be strong all the time”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son as she wipes Kyuhyun’s tears away.

 

“All of us are here for both of you. We won’t leave you. We’re going to do everything for the baby to be healthy and of course Minnie. We won’t let the baby to become blind forever as well as Minnie. Stop crying now and always be strong for your wife and baby. We’re here for both of you. We will do everything for the baby and for Minnie. It’s ok if we spend a lot of money for them as long as they will be healthy and will be able to see. Money is just money; their health is more important. Stop crying now sweetheart. Minnie will be very sad if she finds out about you crying like that”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son. She wipes Kyuhyun’s tears away and hugs him tight to comfort him, so that her son will feel that he’s not alone.

 It was already nine in the evening when Kyuhyun return inside his room. He puts down the glass of milk that he’s holding on top of bedside table before sitting on the bed. He stares at his wife who is still crying.

 

“You didn’t eat your lunch and dinner. Are you not hungry? Mom is worried because you didn’t go down to join us in dinner. I’m also worried”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife sadly, controlling his tears from falling.

 

“I told you to leave me alone. Why are you here?”

 

Sungmin told her husband as she continues to cry softly.

 

“Crying will be bad for you and the baby”

 

“Leave me alone Kyu. I want to be alone…please”

 

Sungmin begs her husband. Kyuhyun shook his head and lay down beside her, facing her.

 

“I won’t leave you. We’re going to cry together. I don’t want you to carry everything alone. I am here for you. We’re together”

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin hugs Kyuhyun as she starts crying hard, feeling really sad.

 

“It’s so painful. My heart is aching so much. What are we going to do? I don’t want our baby to be blind like me. I don’t want him to experience the pain and suffering that I’ve gone through because of being blind. I’m just going to blame myself all the time”

 

Sungmin told her husband sadly while crying hard. Kyuhyun controls his tears from falling. He can’t cry. He needs to be strong for Sungmin just like what his mother told him. Kyuhyun hugs Sungmin and starts rubbing her back gently, comforting her. Kyuhyun starts singing, making Sungmin to stop from crying.

 

“Baby…”

 

Kyuhyun whispers. He stops singing when Sungmin already calm down. He stares at his wife and wipes her tears away.

 

“I am here. I won’t allow our little cherub to be blind. Both of you will be able to see. We’re going to do everything to make that happen. I don’t care how much money I need to spend just for you and our little cherub to have eyesight and be able to see. You’re my strength, so I don’t want you to be sad. I need you to be strong”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand and kisses it softly.

 

“We’re going to outshine this together. I will take care of you and I’m going to make sure that you and our little cherub will be fine and healthy all the time. Don’t be sad and don’t think about it too much. Always be happy just like what Doctor Park told you earlier. I’m here. I’m not going to leave you. Don’t be afraid. I know that our little cherub will be fine, so please be strong for him and for me. I don’t want to see you sad and crying because it hurts me and my heart is breaking into pieces”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife.

 

“I’m going to take care of you and our little cherub and we’re going to make sure that he will be fine”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin as he holds her tummy gently.

 

“He will be normal and I’m not going to allow him to be blind. I’m not going to allow that thing to happen, so don’t be sad anymore. If you’re feeling down and sad, get some strength from me. I will be strong for you. I’m here. I won’t leave you. Always remember that”

 

Kyuhyun hugs Sungmin, controlling his tears from falling. They stay like that for a moment. They just hug each other, giving each other strength.

 

“Kyu…”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

“I’m hungry”

 

Sungmin whispers. Kyuhyun smiles and stares at his wife.

 

“Finally, I heard those words from you. What do you want to eat? I’m going to buy you everything you want to eat”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin thinks for the meantime.

 

“I don’t know what I want to eat. But I’m really hungry now”

 

“Ok. Let’s put it this way. You drink your milk first and then we’re going out to look for foods that you want to eat. Is that ok?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods. Kyuhyun sits on the bed and helps Sungmin to sit down.

 

“Careful baby”

 

“My legs are cramping again Kyu”

 

Sungmin told her husband, feeling mild pain on her legs. Kyuhyun puts two pillows on Sungmin’s back, so she will feel more comfortable while sitting. He slowly raises his wife’s legs and put it down on a pillow. He gives the glass of milk to her, so she can drink it already while he massages her legs gently.

 

“Kyu, I’m done drinking my milk. Let’s eat now. I’m really hungry now”

 

Sungmin told her husband.

 

“Are you feeling ok now?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods her head. Kyuhyun gets the empty glass on Sungmin’s hand and puts it down on the bedside table. He wipes Sungmin’s lips.

 

“I’m just going to get your coat. It’s cold outside”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He gets off of the bed and went inside his wife’s walk-in closet. Kyuhyun gets Sungmin’s thick coat and pair of flat sandals. He returns inside their room. He puts Sungmin’s thick coat on her and the flat sandals on her feet.

 

“From now on, you won’t wear heels anymore”

 

“Ok. That will be more comfortable for me”

 

Kyuhyun stands up and combs his wife’s hair and ties it in a messy ponytail.

 

“I don’t know how to fix a girl’s hair. Just have a messy ponytail”

 

“I don’t mind”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she laughs softly.

 

“Let’s go now”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hands to help her stand. He gets his wallet and car key on top of the bedside table and brings the empty glass with him to put it in the kitchen as he and Sungmin leaves their room.

Kyuhyun was frowning at his wife. It was already twelve midnight, but they are still awake and Sungmin haven’t eaten anything yet. They go out to have dinner, but Sungmin end up not eating anything because she doesn’t like the taste and smell of the food in every fancy and really expensive restaurant that they visit. Kyuhyun just bring her home and ask the chefs to cook for his wife, but Sungmin didn’t eat the food that their chefs cooked for her.

 

“What is your problem? Tell me what you want to eat, so you can already take a rest and sleep. It’s already twelve midnight Cho Sungmin. You supposed to be sleeping by now. It’s not good for you and our little cherub to stay up late at night”

 

“I’m hungry”

 

“But you don’t want to eat”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, controlling his temper.

 

“You cook for me. That’s what I want”

 

“Are you crazy? Do you want me to burn the house?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“I don’t know how to cook”

 

“But I want you to cook for me”

 

“What am I going to cook?”

 

Kyuhyun asks almost crying because his wife is giving him a hard time.

 

“Anything. Just cook”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun, controlling her tears from falling.

 

“Ok. I’m going to cook some pasta for you. Just don’t give me those teary eyes”

 

“Ok”

 

“You smile first”

 

Kyuhyun commanded. Sungmin obeys and flashes a bright smile.

 

“That’s better”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and softly kisses his wife’s wonderful lips.

 

“I’ll give you the best pasta ever”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin though he’s not even sure how he is supposed to do it. Kyuhyun starts scanning for a pasta recipe in a small monitor on the door of the refrigerator. He also checks for the availability of the ingredients.

 

“Ha! I won’t follow any recipes. I shall make my own pasta recipe just for you”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He wears an apron and starts cooking. Sungmin waits patiently. After two hours of cooking, Kyuhyun finally made his own pasta recipe for his wife.

 

“Tada! This is my so-called pasta recipe. Especially made for my beautiful wifey whom I love so much. Eat everything because I made it just for you”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin.

 

“Feed me”

 

“No problem”

 

Kyuhyun removes his apron and puts it down on the empty chair beside him. He holds the fork and cools down the pasta and starts feeding his wife.

 

“So, how was it?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin smiles brightly.

 

“Delicious…very delicious”

 

“Really?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, feeling surprised because as far as he was concern, he didn’t even know how did he manages to cook the pasta recipe. He just keeps cooking and puts a lot of bitter melon and peppermint on it because that’s the first ingredients that he saw when he scans the refrigerator through the monitor on it’s door.

 

“I’m going to taste it ok”

 

“Ok”

 

Kyuhyun takes a deep breath and taste his own recipe because he’s curious on how it taste like and if Sungmin is telling the truth that it’s delicious. Kyuhyun almost choke upon tasting it because it’s so bitter and the pasta is over cooked.

 

“It’s very delicious right?”

 

Sungmin told her husband happily. Kyuhyun quickly grabs the glass of orange juice and drinks it before he dies because of the bitterness of the food that he cooked.

 

“Are you sure that it’s delicious?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods.

 

“It’s very delicious Kyu. I love it. You feed more. I’m going to finish everything”

 

“You’re not playing around?”

 

Kyuhyun asks while raising an eyebrow. Sungmin suddenly frowns.

 

“No. I’m not playing around. Why don’t you want me to eat it? I already told you that it’s delicious and I love it, but why don’t you want me to eat it?”

 

Sungmin told her husband while controlling her tears from falling.

 

“I’m just kidding baby. Don’t cry ok. I’m going to feed you now. You finish everything ok”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, afraid that she will cry again and throws tantrum. Sungmin nods.

 

“You’re going to cook that again later for my breakfast ok”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun nods happily.

 

“Ok. No problem. I will cook it for you. Don’t hesitate to ask me. If you want me to make one for you again, I’m going to do it”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, feeling proud at his self.

 

“That was really sweet. Thanks Kyu. I really love you”

 

“I love you too baby”

 

“I want to sit on your lap. I want to hug you while I’m eating”

 

“You’re going to cling on me again and you won’t let me go again huh?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin nods happily.

 

“We’re going to be Siamese twins again. But it’s ok”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and helps his wife to stand and sits on his lap. She’s facing her right side while hugging her husband, clinging to him again.

 

“This is really so sweet. I always want us to be close like this all the time. I love you Kyu”

 

“I love you too Min”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s tummy.

 

“I love you too little cherub. Behave, so mommy will also behave. She’s already giving me a lot of hard time”

 

“What?”

 

“Nothing”

 

Kyuhyun gently brushes his nose from hers before kissing Sungmin’s wonderful lips.

 

“I love you so much and our little cherub. I’m so happy and really excited to see him soon. You take care a lot ok”

 

“Ok. You feed me now. I’m hungry”

 

“You suddenly become a very demanding brat baby. But I love you so much and I’m not going to get tired of loving you”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, making her smile. He kisses her lips and starts feeding her again with the super bitter pasta that he made only for his wife—it’s so bitter that nobody wants to eat it, not even him…only Sungmin.
