Chapter 2

Sungmin has been escorted by her nanny at the dining room to have her breakfast with her in-laws

“Good morning sweetheart”

Mrs. Cho greets Sungmin happily. Sungmin asks her nanny to her towards Mrs. Cho

“Good morning mom”

Sungmin greets her mother in law with a smile on her face. She slowly reaches her right hand out, trying to find Mrs. Cho’s face. Mrs. Cho holds Sungmin’s right hand

“What is it sweetheart?”

“I need to touch your cheek”

Mrs. Cho smiles and places Sungmin’s right hand on her right cheek. Sungmin smiles upon feeling her mother in law’s smooth skin. Sungmin slowly leans her face and kisses Mrs. Cho’s cheek, making Mrs. Cho smiles brightly

“Can I hug you mom?”

“Of course sweetheart”

Sungmin smiles and hugs her mother in law

“Thank you for bringing me to the hospital awhile ago and for watching me sleeps”

“It’s nothing sweetheart. I have fun watching you sleep awhile ago. I remember when Kyu is still a little boy. I used to watch over him so he can fall asleep peacefully. He can’t sleep without me by his side because he’s afraid of the ghost when he was a kid. But don’t tell him that I told you about it or else he will get mad at me”

Sungmin nods while smiling

“Where is dad?”

Mr. Cho suddenly coughs

“I’m just sitting beside your mother in law. Just walk straight, but not that far sweetheart. Just few steps”

Sungmin slowly walks with the help of her lone cane and her nanny escorted her towards Mr. Cho

“Are you also going to give me a good morning kiss?”

Mr. Cho asks curiously. Sungmin nods happily

“I thought you already forget about me. I’m starting to get jealous to your mother in law”

“Don’t be jealous dad. Of course I’m not going to forget you”

Sungmin smiles. Mr. Cho nods happily and holds his daughter in law’s right hand and places it on his cheek

“Your skin is soft and smooth like mom’s”

Sungmin told her father in law before kissing his cheek

“Can I also hug you?”

“Of course sweetheart”

Sungmin hugs Mr. Cho

“I also want to thank you dada”

“It’s nothing Minnie. You’re my daughter now”

Mr. Cho pats Sungmin’s cheek

“Let’s have our breakfast now because we’re going in a wedding boutique later to buy your wedding dress”

Sungmin nods at Mr. Cho. Her nanny escorted her on her seat. Sungmin folds her long cane and puts it on the table

“From your 9:00 to 3:00 direction, there’s spinach and strawberry salad, radish, blueberry cornmeal pancakes, Thai steamed salmon and kimchi. Your soup for breakfast is baked potato soup and you will be having a fresh papaya juice”

Mrs. Cho explains to Sungmin

“You can eat your breakfast now and I hope you’ll like it”

“Mom, where is your son? Is he not going to join us in breakfast?”

“Well…”

Mrs. Cho sighs

“I asked his nanny awhile ago to wake him up. I guess he doesn’t want to wake up since he’s drunk when he arrives here awhile ago. Just eat your breakfast now sweetheart. Don’t worry about Kyu. He’ll be fine”

Sungmin nods and slowly reaches for her spoon and starts eating her breakfast

“How’s your sleep sweetheart?”

Mr. Cho asks Sungmin

“I had a great sleep dad since mom is watching over me. I feel relaxed and I’m not scared that’s why I had a peaceful sleep”

Sungmin told them happily. They were having a peaceful breakfast when Kyuhyun went inside the dining room. He was wearing corporate attire

“Good morning sweetheart. Please take a seat beside Minnie and join us in breakfast”

Mrs. Cho told her son. Kyuhyun snobs her and sits beside Sungmin. He looks at her before eating his breakfast

“You’re not going to work today Kyu. You need to help us prepare for your wedding next week”

Mr. Cho told his son

“Just ask the wedding planner to do it”

“But you still need to go with us later. You need to buy your formal suit for your wedding next week”

Kyuhyun shook his head

“Why do I need to join you later? I’m not the one who wants to marry this ”

Kyuhyun told his father while staring at Sungmin who suddenly stops eating upon hearing him calling her

“CHO KYUHYUN!”

Mr. Cho shouts angrily

“Don’t ever call Minnie like that!”

Kyuhyun smirks

“What? I’m just telling her the truth that she’s a ! She’s a and a social climber girl! She wants to marry me because of my money and she thinks that I’m going to spend some money for her to be able to see. I don’t understand Mr. Cho. I don’t understand why you and your wife want me to marry a blind girl or maybe…”

Kyuhyun stares at his father seriously

“You want to this so badly that’s why you’re so eager to push the wedding. Don’t worry Mr. Cho. I’m willing to share this blind girl to you, but you need to ask permission first to your ing wife”

Kyuhyun told his father. Mr. Cho’s blood suddenly boils upon hearing Kyuhyun. He stands up and walks towards his son. He grabs Kyuhyun’s collar and pulls him away from his chair. He hits Kyuhyun’s gorgeous face as hard as he can

“HONEY! PLEASE STOP!”

Mrs. Cho shouts. Sungmin’s heart starts beating fast because of fear and nervousness. She can feel the tension between Mr. Cho and Kyuhyun even though she can’t see them. Mr. Cho hits Kyuhyun’s face again before pushing him hard on the floor

“I’M ALREADY LOSING MY TEMPER TO YOU CHO KYUHYUN! YOU’RE SUCH A SHAME IN THE FAMILY!”

Mr. Cho shouts while clenching his fist angrily. Kyuhyun wipes the blood on his lips. He smirks and stands up to face his father

“If you’re ashamed of me then I’m also ashamed of you Mr. Cho! Do you think I want to be your son? I ing hate it as much as I hate you and your ing wife! You’re not supposed to live! You’re the one who supposed to die! But because of that stupid father of that blind girl…”

Mr. Cho slaps Kyuhyun hard

“DON’T CALL MINNIE’S FATHER LIKE THAT! YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT!”

Mr. Cho’s tears start forming in his eyes. He’s feeling weak and in pain physically and emotionally. He can’t understand why his son is acting like that. He can’t understand what went wrong for Kyuhyun to act like that and treat them like that. Mr. Cho holds his head as it starts aching and he feels dizzy again. Mrs. Cho runs towards her husband and holds his arm

“Let’s go to our room”

Mrs. Cho told her husband who nods weakly. Mrs. Cho looks at Sungmin who is still sitting quietly on the chair

“Sweetheart, your dad and I will just go in our room to talk”

Mrs. Cho lied. The truth is, she will bring her husband in their room to let him rest and give him his medicine

“We’re going later. I’ll just tell you nanny to help you take a bath and help you to dress up”

Sungmin nods without turning her head at Mrs. Cho’s direction. Mrs. Cho stares at his son

“You’re going with us later whether you like it or not!”

Mrs. Cho told Kyuhyun. She shoots him a serious glare before leaving the dining room with Mr. Cho. Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin who is feeling so nervous because of what happen

“Are you happy now?”

Kyuhyun asks her. Sungmin didn’t answer

“I’M ASKING YOU ! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?”

Kyuhyun raised his voice because of anger. Sungmin reaches her hand out, searching for her long cane that she places on the table. Sungmin found it and unfolds it. She slowly stands up and walks slowly towards Kyuhyun with the help of her long cane as her guide. She stands in front of Kyuhyun. But Kyuhyun is not sure if Sungmin’s eyes are really fixed on him. He stares at Sungmin and he can see a great pain and sadness in her eyes. Sungmin reaches her hand out, searching for Kyuhyun’s face. Kyuhyun was shock when Sungmin gently touches his gorgeous face with her right hand. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin and he can never deny that she’s really beautiful and look so innocent. He notices the bandage on Sungmin’s left hand. Sungmin gently runs her hand on Kyuhyun’s gorgeous face, feeling his soft skin. She gently touches Kyuhyun’s soft pinkish lips

“OUCH!”

Kyuhyun notices Sungmin’s worried face

“I’m sorry”

Sungmin told him. Kyuhyun removes Sungmin’s hand on his face

“Don’t touch me !”

Kyuhyun pushes Sungmin. She hits her arm on the chair before falling on the floor. Kyuhyun sits on his heels to have the same level to Sungmin

“LOOK AT ME !”

Sungmin starts feeling nervous when Kyuhyun shouts at her. She slowly raises her head and turns it towards Kyuhyun’s direction. Kyuhyun smirks while staring at Sungmin’s innocent eyes that are fixed in a far away distant

“I told you to look at me!”

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s chin tightly

“I told you to look at me ! I’m in front of you. Can you not see me huh?”

Kyuhyun mocks Sungmin. He really loves it whenever he is mocking Sungmin. He loves it whenever Sungmin is in pain and crying

“OMO! I forgot that you’re blind. I forgot that your eyes are such a rot that’s why you can’t see”

Kyuhyun starts laughing. He notices the tears that are forming in Sungmin’s eyes. Kyuhyun smiles brightly

“Aigoo! The is going to cry now!”

Kyuhyun teases Sungmin happily

“You know what? You’re so lucky because all you can see is darkness. That was fun you know. I bet you’re already afraid of the ghost now. It’s so dark, right?”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin sarcastically while laughing so hard, making fun of her. Kyuhyun stops laughing when Sungmin starts crying

“You’re right. I’m scared…so scared because all I can see is darkness. I never see light since I was born. I never see the world like you do. I envy you because your eyes can see and you have a family, but I don’t understand why you can’t appreciate the things that you have. Do you know why I’m scared? It’s because I’m all alone in the darkness and you will never understand it because you’ve seen the light since you were born here and you have a family”

“Shut up ! Who do you think you are to tell me that? You’re just a ing ?”

Kyuhyun flashes his evil smile

“Why don’t you just open your legs for me huh? Since you’re a and you’re going to be my wife soon then I can you anytime that I want”

Sungmin start feeling scared when Kyuhyun holds her arms tightly

“What are you going to do to me?”

Sungmin asks with fear on her voice

“Don’t worry because you’re going to love it ”

Kyuhyun starts Sungmin’s neck

“Please stop…please don’t hurt me. Don’t do this to me please”

Sungmin begs Kyuhyun. She tries to escape, but Kyuhyun is too strong for her. Kyuhyun stops when he heard Sungmin sobbing. He looks at her and slaps her cheek hard

“ you ! I didn’t tell you to cry!”

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s chin tightly

“Listen to me ! Listen to me! Your life will be miserable with me! I’m going to marry you for the sake of fun and for the sake of ing you. Get that? My parents love you and treat you like their daughter and they like you. But I’m different because I hate you like hell and I’m going to hate you for the rest of my life !!! Put that in your brain you ing blind . Put it in your brain if you have one!”

Kyuhyun let go of Sungmin’s chin

“Don’t show your face in front of me again!”

Kyuhyun shoot Sungmin a serious glare. He stands up and went out of the dining room, leacing Sungmin crying on the floor

Sungmin softly knocks on the door before going inside Kyuhyun’s room. She gently closes the door and slowly walks inside while holding the first aid kit. Kyuhyun was sitting on his computer chair while happily playing his game on the computer

“ you ! You’re going to die now! You can never beat me because I’m the game master Kyuhyun!”

Kyuhyun talks proudly while killing his enemies one by one. Sungmin follows the sound that was coming from the computer and Kyuhyun’s laughter while beating his enemies in order for her to find Kyuhyun’s direction. Kyuhyun paused the game that he’s playing when he notices someone standing beside him

“Why are you here ? I didn’t remember inviting you here in my room”

Kyuhyun asks Sungmin while staring at her seriously

“I’m here to treat your wounds”

Sungmin answers. Kyuhyun looks at the first aid kit that Sungmin was holding

“How can you do that if you can’t see anything?”

“Just trust me”

“Fine, you sit on the bed”

Sungmin nods

“Just turn to your left and just walk few steps and you can find my bed”

Kyuhyun instructed Sungmin who nods at him. She slowly turns to her left. Kyuhyun flashes his evil smile and waylaid his foot causing Sungmin to trip on it and falls on the floor, hurting herself again. Kyuhyun starts laughing while staring at Sungmin who is rubbing her elbow and then her knees

“You’re really stupid. Oh well, what can I expect to an uneducated and poor girl like you? Seriously, are you even looking on your way?”

Sungmin feels sad again because Kyuhyun is mocking her again. She really feels sad and hurt whenever someone is mocking her, making fun of her, hurting her and degrading her. But she can’t do anything because she just doesn’t know what to do and because she feels inferior due to her situation. A blind and poor girl like her doesn’t have anything that she can be proud off

“Of course you’re not really looking on your way because you’re blind”

Kyuhyun laughs

“I always forgot about your rotten eyes. How pity are you because you will never see the world forever. Are you scared now huh?”

Kyuhyun teases Sungmin happily. He stands up

“Oh! By the way , nice pink . I saw it awhile ago when you fall on the floor”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin who blush because of embarrassment. Sungmin keeps on pulling the hem of her pink chiffon dress down. Kyuhyun walks towards his bed and steps on Sungmin’s injured hand

“OUCH!”

Sungmin screams because of pain. Tears start forming in her eyes because of pain. She holds her injured hand and gently rubs it while controlling her tears from falling

“Aigoo! I’m sorry. I suddenly become blind that’s why I didn’t notice your injured hand and accidentally steps on it. Forgive me ”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin sarcastically. He smirks and throws herself on his soft bed

“You can leave now because I’m going to take a rest now. My head suddenly aches upon seeing your stupid face”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin without even considering her emotion. He doesn’t care about her and he doesn’t care whether Sungmin feel hurt or not because other people’s emotion is not even important to Kyuhyun. All he thinks about is his self and he doesn’t give a damn care to other people. Sungmin reaches for the first aid kit and her long cane. She slowly stands up and walks carefully towards Kyuhyun’s bed. She touches the soft mattress and slowly sits down, making sure that she will not fall and hurt herself again

“I told you to leave, right? Why are you still here? Didn’t you understand me? Are you really that stupid?”

“I’m not going to leave your room unless you let me treat your wounds”

Kyuhyun smirks

“Excuse me . I’m fine and I can take care of myself. I don’t need your help. Go away and leave me alone”

“Just sit down beside me and let me treat your wounds”

“Don’t make me lose my temper to you blind girl. You don’t know me when I get mad. I’m really going to hurt you”

“Go ahead. You can hurt me if that’s what you want and if hurting other people can really make you happy then hurt me as much as you want”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun. Her voice is a mixture of pain and sadness, making Kyuhyun feels a little bit guilty. He sits down and moves towards Sungmin

“Leave me alone after this or else I’ll throw you out of my room”

Sungmin nods and opens the first aid kit. Kyuhyun watxhes Sungmin as she touches the first aid kit equipments one by one, searching for the cotton swab

“Seriously, are you insane huh ?”

Sungmin didn’t answer. Her hand finally found the cotton swab. She gets a piece and picks the small bottle. Sungmin opens it and smells it. She closes it and puts it back in the kit and picks the other bottle. She opens it and smells it before putting two drops on the cotton swab. She closes the bottle and puts it back in the kit and moves a bit closer to Kyuhyun. Sungmin slowly touches Kyuhyun’s face. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin, feeling her soft hand running gently on his gorgeous face. Sungmin stops when she found Kyuhyun’s soft pinkish lips. She gently touches the cuts on his lips before dabbing the cotton swab with antiseptic cream on Kyuhyun’s lips

“I’m sorry because of me you’re hurt”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun who didn’t answer. He was just staring at Sungmin as he feels a little bit confused as to why Sungmin needs to apologize to him in spite of being innocent. Kyuhyun is also wondering why Sungmin is till nice to him in spite of the bad things that he have done to her

“Ha! I’m sure that this just ant me to fall in love with her, so there won’t be a problem when we’re already married. If that happens, the situation will favor her and that’s the reason why she’s doing this. But unfortunately, I’m not going to fall for it”

Kyuhyun thought

“Tell me . Are you really crazy or just desperate for me to accept you that’s why you’re doing this? I’m hurting you. I’m a very arrogant person and you’re still nice to me. What the hell is that? Are you really nice or you’re just acting for me to like you huh?”

Sungmin stops patting the cotton swab on Kyuhyun’s lips and slowly puts her hands down

“My parents raised me like this. They taught me how to help other people and to be nice with them even though they are hurting me and making fun of me because of my situation. They told me to understand and not to get mad and hold grudge. I’m not doing this for you to like me. All I know is that you’re going to be my husband and I’m going to be your wife. A wife must always take care of her husband and must remain by his side no matter what happen. I’m not forcing you to like me because I know that thing will never happen. I know that you’re an arrogant person, but you’re not bad. I still believe that you’re heart is good”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun in a very gentle manner

“If there’s one thing that I’m going to ask from you…”

Kyuhyun notices the tears that are forming in Sungmin’s eyes

“It will be your respect not only for me, but also for your parents and other people. You’re lucky to have them and they love you so much. Don’t take them for granted. Instead of throwing a fight with them, why not spend a little time to create good and sweet memories with them?”

“You don’t know what you’re talking about !”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin angrily

“I hate that ing Mr. Cho because he always opposes me. He always hinders my happiness and he hates my friends. He doesn’t understand life because all he wants is for me to be perfect and that’s why I hate him and of course his ing wife! They are just making my life miserable!”

“No. You just…”

Kyuhyun slaps Sungmin

“Shut up you ing ! Your father is just a plain stupid for saving Mr. Cho! I’m supposed to be rejoicing by now, but thanks to your stupid father for hindering my celebration! Now, if you don’t mind. GET OUT OF MY ROOM NOW!”

Sungmin closes the first aid kit. Someone knocks on the door. Kyuhyun’s nanny went inside. She bows at Kyuhyun and Sungmin

“Young master and young lady, Mr. and Mrs. Cho are already waiting downstairs for both of you. They told me that you will leave after thirty minutes, so please prepare now”

She told them. She bows at them before leaving the room

“Seriously, what the ing am I going to do there? Why do I need to go with you?”

Kyuhyun whispers irritatingly. Sungmin stands up

“I’m going out now. Sorry for disturbing you”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun and starts walking with her long cane while holding the first aid kit. Kyuhyun watches Sungmin slowly walking towards the door until she finally manages to go out from his room

“Stupid ”

Kyuhyun whispers. He jumps off of his bed and went inside his walk-in closet to change his clothes

“KYUHYUN-AH!!!”

Kyuhyun rolls his eyes upon seeing his cousins. They happily walk towards him and hug him tight

“It’s been a long time. We miss you Kyu and it’s really great to see you again. Finally you’re getting married. Jess and I are happy for you and for your wife”

“Whatever Fany”

Kyuhyun frowns at Tiffany and Jessica who are smiling brightly at him

“I seriously think that both of you need to get a life. I don’t understand why both of you need to help Mr. and Mrs. Cho in preparing for that ing wedding”

Jessica stares at Kyuhyun seriously

“I really think that you’re the one who needs to get a life here because you’re such a loser!”

Jessica told Kyuhyun before walking towards Mr. and Mrs. Cho who are happily choosing a wedding dress for Sungmin

“Jess is right. You’re a loser !”

Tiffany frowns at Kyuhyun and walks away, joining Mr. and Mrs. Cho and Jessica in choosing a wedding dress for Sungmin

“Aunt, uncle, where is the bride?”

Tiffany asks curiously. Mrs. Cho smiles as she points her finger on Sungmin’s direction. Tiffany and Jessica looks at Sungmin who is sitting quietly on the couch

“Please introduce us to her”

Jessica told Mr. and Mrs. Cho happily. Tiffany and Jessica happily drag their aunt and uncle towards Sungmin

“Minnie”

“Yes mom?”

Sungmin slowly stands up, holding her long cane. Mrs. Cho smiles and holds Sungmin’s hand

“Sweetheart, I’m going to introduce you to Kyuhyun’s cousins. Don’t’ worry because they are nice and they are really excited to meet you”

Mrs. Cho told Sungmin happily. She slowly turns Sungmin towards Tiffany and Jessica’s direction. They smile brightly while looking at Sungmin

“Sweetheart, I want you to meet Tiffany and Jessica”

Sungmin bows her head to greet them. Tiffany smiles and hugs Sungmin

“You’re so beautiful and that’s the truth”

Tiffany told Sungmin who flashes a shy smile

“Thank you”

Tiffany holds Sungmin’s hand while smiling brightly at her. She stares at Sungmin’s beautiful face and to her innocent eyes that are fixed on a far away direction

“I’m Stephanie Hwang or should I say Mrs. Choi”

Tiffany flashes her eye smile

“I’m twenty four years old and I’m already married and…”

Tiffany hold Sungmin’s hand and happily places it on her tummy. Sungmin’s eyes widened when she feels a baby bump

“You’re pregnant?”

Sungmin asks Tiffany while smiling

“Three months. My husband is in his office, but he will join us in lunch later. I’ll introduce you to him. By the way, just call me Fany Unnie. I’m Kyu’s cousin in his mother side. It’s nice to meet you sweetheart”

Tiffany told Sungmin happily and hugs her tight

“Thanks Unnie. It’s good to meet you and your baby in your womb”

Sungmin smiles at Tiffany

“It’s Jess’ turn now”

Tiffany gently pats Sungmin’s cheek and step aside to give way to Jessica

“Hi Minnie! It’s good to meet you. I’m Jessica Jung. I’m twenty four years old as well. Fany and I are really close to each other. I’m Kyu’s cousin in his father’s side. I hope we can be close as well and please call me Jessica Unnie or whatever you want”

Jessica holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between her hands

“Fany is right. You’re really beautiful…very beautiful”

“Thank you Jessica Unnie”

Jessica and Tiffany happily hold Sungmin’s hands

“Let’s go sweetheart. Fany and I are going to help you in choosing your wedding dress”

“Don’t worry sweetheart. Leave it to me and Jess. We’re going to choose the best wedding dress and shoes for you”

They smile at Sungmin who is smiling shyly. Tiffany gets Sungmin’s long cane away from her grip and folds it

“Jess and I will be your eyes”

Sungmin nods. Tiffany gives Sungmin’s long cane to her aunt

“Jess and I will take care of Minnie. Just sit and relax”

Tiffany smiles at Mr. and Mrs. Cho who nod happily at her. They sit on the couch. Tiffany and Jessica look at Kyuhyun who is busy talking to someone over the phone. They stare at each other and sigh sadly

“We’re going to deal with that evil brat later”

Tiffany told Jessica who nods at her. They look at Sungmin and smile

“Let’s go Minnie”

Sungmin nods at them. Tiffany and Jessica giggle happily and start walking slowly with Sungmin, guiding her every step

Tiffany and Jessica notice the bruises on Sungmin’s arms and knees as they help her remove her coat and pink chiffon dress

“Minnie sweetheart”

“Yes Fany Unnie?”

Tiffany looks at Sungmin worriedly

“Tell us the truth sweetheart. Is Kyu hurting you physically?”

“No”

Sungmin lied

“Then where did you get those bruises?”

Jessica asks curiously

“I’m not yet familiar with the Cho Mansion. It’s really big and it’s a new environment for me, that’s why I’m having a hard time. I often hit myself somewhere and falls, ending up hurting myself”

Sungmin explains

“Are you sure or you’re just afraid to tell us the truth?”

“I’m telling the truth Unnie”

Sungmin told them. Of course she’s telling the truth, but not 100% truth. Half of it is a lie. It is true that she often hits herself somewhere and fall since she’s not yet familiar to her new environment. But aside from hurting herself, Kyuhyun is also hurting her physically, emotionally and mentally. That’s the truth that she keeps on hiding

“I’m warning you Min sweetheart. We know that Kyu is your husband. But don’t you ever cover him up. Please don’t hesitate to tell us if he’s hurting you”

Jessica told Sungmin who just nods her head. Tiffany claps her hands

“Let’s fit the wedding dress now Minnie sweetheart. I’m going to take off your bra now”

Tiffany told Sungmin happily. Sungmin immediately holds her chest and moves away from Tiffany. Her eyes widens as she shook her head

“Unnie, why do you need to remove my bra?”

Sungmin asks nervously

“Sweetheart, don’t be afraid. We’re not going to hurt you or do something bad to you. We really need to remove your bra for you to be able to fit your wedding dress properly because it has a padding  for your ies”

Tiffany explains. Sungmin blush a little

“But I’m shy”

Tiffany shook her head

“Don’t be. We’re all girls here”

“To be honest Min sweetheart, Fany and I think that your body is so y. I bet Kyu will droll over you when he sees you ”

Sungmin pouts, feeling a bit embarrassed

“Why are you guys so ert?”

Tiffany and Jessica laugh softly

“ert? We’re just telling you the truth sweetheart. You have a perfect and hot body. Come on. Don’t be shy. Please remove your bra and let’s fit your wedding dress”

Sungmin gulps nervously and nods at them. Jessica stands at her back to unhook her white strapless bra. Sungmin blush when Jessica removes her bra, exposing her wonderful s. Tiffany and Jessica stare at Sungmin with bright smile

“Face is very beautiful”

“Attitude is really nice and sweet”

“Skin is so milky, soft and smooth”

“The body is so y and ies are so wonderful”

Tiffany and Jessica giggle happily

“Kyu is really lucky”

Jessica whispers to Tiffany who nods happily, agreeing to her

“Please don’t stare at me. I’m getting embarrass now”

“We’re not staring at you”

“Please don’t lie. I know that both of you are staring at me even though I can’t see”

Tiffany and Jessica nod

“Fine, we’re not going to stare at you”

“Ok. Let’s fit your wedding dress now”

Tiffany and Jessica smile brightly and help Sungmin wear her wedding dress and shoes. Jessica ties Sungmin’s shoulder length hair into a neat bun before putting her fingertip-length veil

“Oh my God!”

“I really can’t believe it”

They stare at Sungmin happily

“I look awful right?”

Tiffany and Jessica shook their heads

“What the hell are you talking about? If only you can see yourself sweetheart. You’re beautiful”

“Very beautiful and I’m in love with you”

Sungmin blush. Tiffany and Jessica hug each other while giggling happily

 “I’ll go out first to tell them that Minnie is already done fitting her wedding dress. Stay here with her Jess”

“Arasso”

Tiffany went out of the fitting room happily. She claps her hands to catch Mr. and Mrs. Cho’s attention. They look at her, except Kyuhyun who is busy playing on his PSP

“The bride is ready”

Tiffany makes her voice a little louder and she emphasizes the word ‘bride’ to catch Kyuhyun’s attention. But he just ignores her. Tiffany just sighs and opens the door of the fitting room, giving Jessica a signal that she and Sungmin can already go out. Jessica go out of the dressing room holding Sungmin’s hands tightly

“Presenting Mrs. Cho Sungmin”

Tiffany smiles brightly. Jessica step aside to show Sungmin to Mr. and Mrs. Cho and to Kyuhyun who paused the game to take a glance on his soon to be wife. He can never deny that Sungmin looks so beautiful on her wedding dress. It’s an all ivory lace, backless, mermaid silhouette wedding gown with empire waist and little cap sleeves in lace. The bottom is puffy and at the empire waist, there is a dark pink velvet ribbon, formed in a beautiful bow at the back. It looks so simple yet elegant and very beautiful. Her shoes is a glass slippers like those of Cinderella’s and her fingertip-length veil has little Swarovski and diamonds as embellishments

“See? She’s really beautiful. What more if she wears make-up?”

“I just tie her hair in a bun. But I want it to be styled in a low chignon on the wedding day itself”

Mr. and Mrs. Cho nod happily while staring at their daughter in law full of delight and amaze in their eyes. They really feel so happy and excited for the wedding of Kyuhyun and Sungmin next week. Tiffany and Jessica smile at each other when they caught Kyuhyun staring at Sungmin

“So, what can you say Kyu?”

Jessica asks Kyuhyun who immediately focus his eyes on his PSP, pretending that he’s busy playing

“I’m asking you Kyu”

“Do you really want to hear my opinion?”

“Min is beautiful, right?”

Kyuhyun turns off his PSP and puts it back in his backpack. He looks at Tiffany and Jessica before focusing his eyes on Sungmin. Kyuhyun smirks

“Since when did a blind girl become beautiful? That girl is ugly and will remain ugly no matter what clothes she wears. A will be forever a ”

“How about you Kyu? Did you already found a good formal suit for you?”

Tiffany asks to change the topic. Kyuhyun stands up

“Why should I wear very extravagant clothes if I’m just going to marry a blind girl? Maybe pajamas will do”

Kyuhyun told them, mocking Sungmin while flashing a smirk. Sungmin drops her head

“I’ll go back inside the fitting room and change my clothes”

Sungmin whispers. Tiffany and Jessica shoot Kyuhyun a deadly glare before returning inside the fitting room to help Sungmin change her clothes. Mrs. Cho stands up and walks towards her son. She slaps Kyuhyun

“I hate the way you talk and treat people. Tell me Cho Kyuhyun. Who teach you to be like that? Tell me son. What is beautiful and to you? You call Seohyun beautiful? Tell me, how can indecent girl like her becomes beautiful? The word is perfect for her. How did Minnie become a ? How can an innocent girl who is not doing anything to hurt you and other people become a ? Tell me Cho Kyuhyun!”

Mrs. Cho stares at her son angrily. Kyuhyun didn’t answer. He wears his backpack and walks away and went out of the wedding boutique. Mrs. Cho goes back on her seat

“Honey, what am I going to do to our son? I can’t understand why he’s like that. I don’t know what to do”

“Mee too. He’s getting worst each day. I hope Minnie can change him”

“I hope so”

Mr. Cho looks at his wife’s sad face and gives her a sweet hug to comfort her

Siwon smiles brightly at Sungmin as Tiffany happily introduces him to her

“Sweetheart, this is my husband, Choi Siwon. He’s a CEO like Kyu and uncle”

Sungmin bows her head

“It’s nice to meet you Mr. Choi”

“Just call me Oppa”

Siwon shakes Sungmin’s hand

“It’s good to meet you Minnie”

Siwon smiles at Sungmin. Mr. Cho claps his hands

“Let’s take a seat now and start our lunch…our super late lunch”

Mr. Cho smiles. They not at him, except Kyuhyun who keeps a frown on his face. Mrs. Cho helps Sungmin to sit down on the chair beside Kyuhyun before sitting beside her husband. The waiters start serving lunch. Mrs. Cho asks one of the waiters to arrange Sungmin’s food like an analog clock so she will not have a hard time eating

“Sweetheart, from your 9:00 to 3:00 direction, there’s a macaroni and cheese, grilled asparagus salad, spring pea soup, Berkshire pork chop and Maine clams and you will be drinking Sauvignon blanc. It’s a French white wine. Enjoy your lunch”

“Thanks mom”

Sungmin slowly runs her hand on the table. She picks the table napkin and put it on her lap. She runs her hand again on the table, searching for her spoon. Sungmin picks it up and start eating her lunch

“So, did you guys found a good wedding dress for our lovely bride?”

Siwon asks his wife happily. Tiffany giggles

“Honey, I’m telling you. Minnie is the loveliest bride. Her wedding dress is really beautiful and iut really suits her, right Jess?”

Jessica nods happily, agreeing to Tiffany

“Kyu, don’t worry about your honeymoon destination because Fany and I will be the one who will arrange everything. It’s our wedding gift for you and Minnie”

Siwon told Kyuhyun who shook his head

“You don’t need to do that Hyung. Do you think I’m poor and I can’t afford an expensive honeymoon?”

“Kyu, that’s not what I’m trying to say…”

Kyuhyun raises his hand to stop his cousin in law from talking

“I don’t have plan on going to a honeymoon. I’ll just stay home after the wedding”

Kyuhyun explains. Mr. Cho looks at him

“Why don’t you want to go on a honeymoon? You need to have intimate time with your wife after the wedding”

“I’m busy Mr. Cho and I don’t have time for that. Why will I waste my time to a blind girl? I’m not going to have fun ing a blind girl”

Kyuhyun laughs to tease Sungmin and makes his father’s blood boils. Mr. Cho was about to stand, but Mrs. Cho holds his hand to stop him

“Honey, please”

Mrs. Cho whispers sadly. Mr. Cho takes a deep breath, controlling his anger

“Maybe when you’re no longer busy, you and Min can already go on your honeymoon”

Jessica told Kyuhyun, trying to stop the tension between Kyuhyun and Mr. Cho

“I told you that I’m busy and I have a lot of things to do. I rather spend my time with my friends than my wife”

“Are you not going to shut your mouth? Do you really want me to cut your sharp tongue?”

Mr. Cho clenches his fist because of anger. Kyuhyun’s mobile phone rings. He get it inside his pocket and answers the call

“Yes Max?”

“Where are you?”

“Having lunch with my beloved family”

Kyuhyun told Changmin sarcastically. Changmin laughs

“Family bonding huh?”

Changmin teases Kyuhyun

“Pabo! Do you think I want to go out with them? Hell no! Where are you?”

“Mafia Bar. We’re already waiting for you here. Your Seohyun honey is also waiting for you”

“I’m on my way now”

Kyuhyun hangs up. He stands up happily

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Mr. Cho asks

“The hell do you care ”

Tension between Kyuhyun and his father is rising again

“Sit down because you’re not going anywhere!”

Mr. Cho told Kyuhyun angrily

“I’m not going to follow you ing old man! I’m going wherever I want to go and you can’t stop me! I can take the cab ok”

Kyuhyun told his father. He looks at Sungmin

“I’m going now . See you later”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He grabs his glass of water. They were shock when Kyuhyun pours the water on Sungmin’s head

“Oops! I thought you want to have a bath. Sorry”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin in a sarcastic manner. He laughs and places the empty glass on the table. He salutes at his father and leaves the restaurant

“Aish! That boy is really arrogant. He’s such an . He never changes at all”

Jessica whispers. She opens her handbag and gets a pack of tissue and wipes Sungmin’s wet face

“Are you ok?”

Jessica asks worriedly. Sungmin nods sadly while controlling her tears from falling

Kyuhyun was having fun flirting around with Seohyun and other girls and drinking with his friends

“Seohyun-ah is getting jealous with your wifey”

Changmin told Kyuhyun before kissing Taeyeon. Kyuhyun look at Seohyun who is sitting beside him

“Is that true?”

Seohyun nods at him. She starts brushing her fingers on Kyuhyun’s chest

“I’m so jealous because you’re going to have a wife soon. It only means that you’re going to forget about me”

Kyuhyun shook his head. He cups Seohyun’s face and kisses her passionately

“Of course that thing will not happen. I won’t forget you. Don’t be jealous of her. She’s a blind and girl. I don’t love her and that thing will never happen. I’ll just marry her for fun. That’s all”

Kyuhyun explains to Seohyun. He pulls her closer to him and starts kissing her passionately. Kyuhyun moves his lips on Seohyun’s neck, kissing it, her skin while caressing her s. Seohyun moans softly

“I’m not going to exchange you from her and to any other girls out there. You’re my one and only”

Kyuhyun told Seohyun before kissing her lips again

“You’re my one and only honey”

Kyuhyun told Seohyun who flashes a bright smile. Kyuhyun have a shot of vodka

“Kyu, when are we going to your blind ?”

Junsu asks happily

“I told you guys. We’re going to do it after the wedding. Don’t get too excited”

Kyuhyun laughs before taking another shot of vodka

“We need to pan it properly. We need to do it when my ing parents are not home so nobody can stop us”

“Can your blind wife can handle four men ing her one at a time?”

Minho asks happily. Changmin flicks Minho’s forehead

“Pabo! What do you mean by one at a time huh? We can her all together. One in the mouth. One in the back and one in front. That will be cool!”

They start laughing hard along with Taeyeon and Seohyun

“I’m the one who will taste her first since I’m the husband here. Thirty minutes and then I’ll let you have her. her as much as you want. Impregnate her if you want. I don’t care about it”

They give each other a high five

“That’s what we like about you Kyu. You know how to share”

Junsu told Kyuhyun happily before taking a shot of Tequila

“That blind will be lucky because she has the chance to choose the father of her baby”

They start laughing hard again

“Hey Kyuhyun-ah”

Kyuhyun looks at Taeyeon

“We actually talk about it awhile ago while waiting for you”

Taeyeon smiles

“Let’s have a bet”

“What bet?”

“You need to make that blind girl fall in love with you. If you win, Seohyun will be yours forever”

Kyuhyun looks at Seohyun who is smiling at him

“As in forever?”

Seohyun nods while flashing a seductive smile

“But if you lose…”

Kyuhyun looks at Taeyeon

“You will give each of us one million dollars. Deal?”

Kyuhyun laughs

“Of course I can make that girl fall in love with me. That’s so easy you know. Deal”

“Ok. Let’s have a toast for our Kyuhyun-ah”

Changmin told them happily. They raised their shot glasses and have a toast and starts partying happily

It was already twelve midnight, but Sungmin is not yet sleeping. She really can’t sleep at night ever since the day her father left her. She starts feeling scared and alone on that day and that’s the reason why she’s afraid to sleep. She’s afraid to close her eyes because she’s always having a nightmare. Sungmin stands up and runs her hand on the side table to get her long cane and the small bell that her mother gave her when she was seven. She uses it whenever she needs help and to calls for a help whenever she’s in danger. Sungmin unfolds her long cane and starts walking. She goes out of her room. She carefully goes down the stairs, counting her steps in her mind. Kyuhyun arrives at home, a bit tipsy. He was about to go up when he saw Sungmin going down the stairs. He stares at her. Sungmin falls three steps on the floor because her counting is wrong again. Kyuhyun immediately run towards her without any hesitation

“Where is my bell? Where is my bell?”

Sungmin mumbles while crawling on the floor. Kyuhyun notices the tears that are forming in Sungmin’s eyes as she crawls on the floor, running her hands on the cold floor to find her bell. Kyuhyun saw it. He picks it up. Sungmin was shock when someone holds her hand

“Who are you?”

Sungmin asks nervously. Kyuhyun puts the small bell on her hand

“It’s me. It’s good that the bell didn’t break. It has a small crack, but it’s not worst”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin while staring at her sad and innocent eyes

“Thank you”

Sungmin whispers. She runs her hand on the floor to pick her long cane. She stands up, but end up falling on the floor again because she hurts her knees badly. She hits it hard on the floor and it’s really aching badly. Kyuhyun somehow feels pity towards Sungmin when he saw tears falling slowly from her eyes while rubbing her knees. Kyuhyun can’t understand why he suddenly feels like that towards her

“What the are you doing Cho Kyuhyun? You’re not supposed to feel that way. You’re just tipsy, arasso?”

Kyuhyun told his self. He grabs Sungmin’s long cane and folds it. He puts it in the pocket of his coat. Sungmin was shock when Kyuhyun wipes her tears away

“Let’s go up now”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He carries her on his arms and goes upstairs. He was staring at Sungmin’s beautiful face and innocent eyes as he walks towards her room. Kyuhyun can see a great pain, fear and sadness in Sungmin’s eyes. He opens the door of Sungmin’s room and went inside. He closes it using his foot and walks towards the bed. Kyuhyun carefully laid Sungmin on her soft bed. He places a soft pillow under Sungmin’s knees to make it more comfortable for her

“What are you doing? Why are you still awake?”

Kyuhyun asks Sungmin

“I want to go out because I can’t sleep at night”

Sungmin slowly sits on her bed

“Can you please sit beside me?”

Sungmin asks Kyuhyun

“Why can’t you sleep at night?”

“Because I’m scared”

“Scared?”

Kyuhyun laughs

“There’s no ghost here ”

Sungmin shook her head

“It’s not like that. I become so scared when Appa left me. I’m afraid to close my eyes because I’m having nightmare and I feel so alone”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun sadly

“That’s why you’re lucky because you have mom and dad. They can sleep beside you, so you won’t feel alone and scared”

“I’m not a scared cat like you ”

Sungmin shook her head

“That’s not what I’m talking about. What I’m trying to say is that you’re lucky because you’re not alone. You can see the wonders of the world before you close your eye at night and once you open it in the morning. Those are the simple things that you need to appreciate”

Kyuhyun smirks

“You talk as if you’re appreciating your life as a blind”

“I do. I appreciate my life even though I can’t see. I appreciate the darkness that I’m seeing everyday because it makes me realize that I’m still fortunate to be born alive even though all I can see is darkness”

Somehow those words strike Kyuhyun’s heart

“Please sit beside me”

Kyuhyun sits down beside her. Sungmin slowly moves a little bit closer to Kyuhyun

“I told you. You’re an arrogant person. But you’re not bad at all”

Sungmin reaches her hand out and touches Kyuhyun’s gorgeous face. She gently runs her hands on Kyuhyun’s gorgeous face until she touches his eyes. Sungmin slowly runs her fingers on Kyuhyun’s eyes, touching it gently. Kyuhyun’s heart melts a little because of Sungmin’s gentle touch

“Thank you”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun before lying on the bed

“You can leave now. Sleep now. I know you’re tired”

“I’ll stay here until you fall asleep, so you won’t feel scared”

“You don’t need to do it. I’ll be fine. Take a rest now”

“Just go to sleep now before I get mad at you. Close your eyes and sleep”

Sungmin was shock when Kyuhyun sings for her

“You can sing?”

“Shut up . Just close your eyes and sleep”

Sungmin nods

“Good night”

She told Kyuhyun before closing her eyes. Kyuhyun watch over her until she falls asleep

“What the ing hell am I doing?”

Kyuhyun asks his self in a very soft voice, avoiding waking Sungmin

“ you Cho Kyuhyun! You should treat her like hell and not like this. What the hell is wrong with you huh? Aish!”

Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin’s peaceful face

“What the hell are you doing to me ? Are you cursing me or something? Why am I feeling like this all of a sudden? Why am I feeling so affected when you told me that you’re scared and you’re feeling so alone? Why do I feel a sudden pain when I saw your tears awhile ago? I even wipe it away for you. ! you Cho Kyuhyun! Don’t let this ing blind girl melts your heart that is harder than a rock, arasso? She’s just a bet. Don’t ever forget that”

Kyuhyun told his self. He stares at the small bell that was on the bed

“Of course this is just a bet Cho Kyuhyun”

Kyuhyun gets the small bell and puts it on top of the side table. He stares at Sungmin for awhile, thinking about the bet

“I’m not in love with you and that thing will never happen. I’m not going to fall in love with you. A bet is a bet and I need to win it”

Kyuhyun told his self. He stands up and quietly leaves the room
