Mrs. Cho smiles at her soon to be daughter in law who is sitting quietly on a chair. They were inside a beauty salon. She gives Sungmin a little make-over for her engagement to Kyuhyun which will happen on that day

“Mrs. Cho…”

Mrs. Cho holds Sungmin’s lips to stop her from talking

“How many times do I need to remind you not to call me Mrs. Cho? You should call me mom because you and my son are going to get married soon. Today is your engagement to him and next week is the wedding. You’re going to stay at our mansion after the engagement”

Mrs. Cho explains to Sungmin. She notices a sudden change in expression on Sungmin’s beautiful face. It seems that she’s feeling so nervous and scared

“Is there something wrong sweetheart?”

Mrs. Cho asks Sungmin worriedly

“Can I just stay in my apartment after the engagement later? Do I really need to stay in your house?”

Mrs. Cho nods. She holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between her hands. She stares at Sungmin’s eyes. Her eyes look sad and worried

“Are you not happy that you’re going to be my son’s wife?”

Mrs. Cho asks Sungmin while staring at her. Sungmin’s eyes are beautiful and look so innocent. Mrs. Cho gently touches Sungmin’s eyes

“You re beautiful Minnie”

“I’m sure that your son will never love me. He will never love a simple girl who can’t even see. I don’t understand why you and Mr. Cho want us to get married. If it’s about what happen to my fat—“

Mrs. Cho holds Sungmin’s lips to stop her from talking. She shook her head and hugs Sungmin tightly

“This got nothing to do with your father. My husband and I want you to be our son’s wife because we know that you can change him. I know that it will be hard at first, but I’m sure that Kyu will take care of you. My son is a good man. It’s just that he’s an arrogant and happy go lucky boy, but I know that you can deal with him”

Mrs. Cho looks at Sungmin whose eyes are only focus on a certain direction. She doesn’t know exactly what a blind person’s eyes can see

“I know that my son will love a girl like you. He’s lucky to have a wife who is so beautiful, sweet and loving. Please smile for me now”

Sungmin slowly flashes a sweet smile

“Don’t worry too much sweetheart. Everything will be fine”

Mrs. Cho holds Sungmin’s hands

“From now on you need to call me mom and my husband as dad or else we’re gong to feel so sad if you will still call us like Mr. and Mrs. Cho”

Sungmin nods while smiling. Mrs. Cho gently pats Sungmin’s cheek

“Arasso. Let’s go at Shilla Hotel now. I’m sure that Kyu is already waiting for you there. I’m really excited for your first meeting. Don’t worry Minnie. My son is really handsome. Even though you can’t see him, he’s really handsome and you guys will be a perfect couple”

Mrs. Cho told Sungmin happily. She stands up and helps Sungmin to stand. Mrs. Cho gets Sungmin’s folded long cane on the table and gives it to her

“Mom”

“Yes sweetheart?”

“Can I just wrap my hand on your arm? I don’t want to look like a blind person. Just for this day. I just want to look beautiful in the eyes of all the people. Just for this day since it’s my engagement”

Mrs. Cho smiles brightly. She hold Sungmin’s hand and wraps it on her arm

“You look beautiful. Don’t be so embarrassed that you can’t see because you’re beautiful inside and out”

Mrs. Cho told Sungmin, making her smile

“Arasso. Let’s go now. Let’s just walk slowly, so you won’t have a hard time”

Sungmin nods. Mrs. Cho starts walking slowly; guiding Sungmin’s every single step
