“Seriously…”

Seulgi whispers and sighs softly while staring at her daughter who is sitting elegantly on the French sofa, drinking a cup of tea while reading a romantic novel.

“Krystal honey, aren’t you supposed to leave now? What are you still doing? Why are you still sitting there?”

Seulgi asks her daughter who just ignores her, pretending that she didn’t hear anything.

“She’s giving me a hard time again. Cho Kyuhyun, why is your daughter like this? She’s such a hardheaded girl”

Seulgi told herself. She sighs softly and walks towards her daughter.

“Krystal…”

Seulgi sits beside her daughter, joining her on the French sofa.

“Will you please stop ignoring me? I’m talking here young lady. Stop pretending that you don’t hear anything!”

Seulgi told her daughter, frowning at her. Krystal sighs softly. She puts down the book that she’s reading on her lap and looks at her mother who is frowning at her.

“Didn’t you know that you’re becoming ugly whenever you’re frowning?”

Krystal asks her mother.

“CHO KRYSTAL!!!”

Seulgi shouts, feeling irritated towards her daughter.

“What? I’m just telling you mom. You’re ugly when you frown…just in case you don’t know”

Krystal told her mother, flashing a smile.

“Honey…”

Seulgi takes a deep breath, calming herself. She doesn’t want to get mad at her beautiful daughter.

“You need to leave now if you don’t want to miss your flight”

Seulgi told her daughter who suddenly frowns at her.

“I really don’t understand”

Krystal told her mother.

“You don’t understand what?”

Seulgi asks, raising an eyebrow.

“We already talk about it young lady. You need to go to South Korea because your dad wants to see you and he wants you to meet her new wife”

Seulgi told her daughter who sighs heavily.

“Why do I need to meet his ?”

Krystal asks.

“Yah! Watch your mouth young lady! Don’t speak like that to other people. Your dad and I didn’t teach you to act like that”

Seulgi told her daughter, frowning at her.

“Don’t call your dad’s new wife a ”

“Then how am I supposed to call her? Social climber who—“

“CHO KRYSTAL!!!”

Seulgi shouts angrily, stopping her daughter from speaking.

“I really hate you mom. You and dad. I hate both of you. I really do”

Krystal told her mother with tears in her eyes.

“You should leave now. Your driver is waiting. He will be the one who will drop you at the airport”

Seulgi told her daughter, avoiding arguing with her.

“How about you?”

Krystal asks.

“Me?”

Seulgi asks. Krystal nods her head.

“Aren’t you supposed to go with me? I mean…you supposed to congratulate your ex-husband in his marriage to his and maybe you want to meet the girl who steals your ex-husband away from you”

Krystal told her mother, making her frown. She really can’t accept the fact that her parents are no longer together and they already have their own lives away from each other and that her father already loves other woman and her mother is no longer his wife.

“Honey, you don’t understand what you’re saying. Your dad and I are already divorce before he met his new wife. Nobody steals your dad away from me ok, so stop talking like that”

Seulgi told her daughter, hoping that Krystal will understand and will stop arguing with her about Kyuhyun’s new wife.

“Oh really? Isn’t she a mistress?”

Krystal asks, feeling angry just by thinking about her father’s new wife. Seulgi shook her head.

“Honey…”

Seulgi cups her daughter’s beautiful face. Krystal frowns at her.

“Someday you’ll understand”

Seulgi told her daughter, giving her a sad look because she knows that her daughter is still having a hard time adjusting to the situation.

“Never!”

Krystal told her mother. She moves away from Seulgi and grabs her luggage before turning her back away.

“I’ll be in Seoul next week to visit your dad and congratulate him and his new wife in their marriage. I’ll be there with—“

“Chanyeol, your other man”

Krystal told her mother, interrupting her from speaking.

“Krystal honey, will you plea—“

“That’s the reason why I hate you and dad. Both of you choose to get a divorce instead of saving your marriage. You didn’t even think about me”

Krystal told her mother without looking at her. She really can’t understand why her parents choose to end their marriage instead of saving it. She hates her parents because for her, they didn’t think about her before they get a divorce. She can’t understand why her father needs to leave her mother and marry other woman.

“Honey, it—“

“I’m not listening!”

Krystal told her mother. She wears her headphone, indicating that she doesn’t want to listen to her mother. She puts her book inside her backpack before wearing it. Krystal leaves her mother’s house without saying goodbye to her.

“Oh dear, when will that girl learn to accept that her dad and I are already over?”

Seulgi asks herself.

“And where on earth did she get the idea that Chanyeol is my other man and Kyu’s new wife is a mistress? That girl is really…what will I do to her?”

Seulgi asks herself while shaking her head slowly.

“Kyu, I hope your daughter will not give you and your new wife a hard time. I hope that she will behave well”

Seulgi whispers, sighing softly.
