Chapter 13

 

 

Kyuhyun wakes up from his peaceful slumber. He slowly opens his eyes and smiles brightly upon seeing his lovely wife, still sleeping peacefully beside him.

 

“You’re so beautiful baby and you sleep like an angel”

 

Kyuhyun whispers while gently brushing his fingers on Sungmin’s beautiful face. He suddenly giggles happily upon remembering what happen to them yesterday.

 

“My baby is no longer innocent. I’m going to take your innocence away completely after three months. I’m really excited for us to have a baby”

 

Kyuhyun smiles while watching Sungmin sleeping like an angel. He softly kisses his wife’s forehead.

 

“It’s really great to wake up seeing you beside me. Having you as my wife will forever be the best thing that happen in my life”

 

Kyuhyun told his sleeping wife. He sends his finger on Sungmin’s eyes, touching it gently, avoiding waking her.

 

“I wish that you can see me soon”

 

Kyuhyun’s tears start forming in his eyes, feeling sad because of his wife’s condition. He really wishes that Sungmin will have eyesight soon. Kyuhyun really wants her to see because he knows that his wife will be happy once she already sees the light. Kyuhyun wants her to see the beauty of the world and the people around her. He wants Sungmin to see herself and realize how beautiful she is whenever she’s going to look at the mirror and of course, he also wants his wife to see him and their future kids.

 

“I’m going to do everything for you to be able to see. I’m willing to give up my eyes just for you”

 

Kyuhyun whispers while brushing his fingers on Sungmin’s eyes. He holds her hand and softly kisses it.

 

“I love you baby. I love you so much”

 

Kyuhyun wraps his arms around Sungmin, embracing her sweetly. He starts humming a melody softly while gently his wife’s short blonde hair. He suddenly stops when he heard his mobile phone ringing. Kyuhyun carefully let go of Sungmin who is still sleeping peacefully. He grabs his mobile phone on the bedside table. Kyuhyun smiles upon seeing the caller’s name; it was his mother.

 

“Mom”

 

Kyuhyun answers the call happily. Mrs. Cho smiles upon hearing her son’s voice.

 

“Hi sweetheart. How are you and our baby girl?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks Kyuhyun happily.

 

“We’re fine mom. How about you and dad? How’s your trip in Sydney?”

 

Kyuhyun asks his mother excitedly. Mrs. Cho stares at her husband sadly. Mr. Cho is sleeping peacefully. He’s taking a rest because he’s tired of his chemotherapy. Mrs. Cho’s tears start falling from her eyes. She really feels sad and she just can’t help but to worry and think about her husband every minute. Mrs. Cho is afraid that her husband might leave them so soon and she’s not yet ready to let him go.

 

“Mom, are you still there? Yeoboseo”

 

Mrs. Cho wipes her tears and takes a deep breath.

 

“Of course sweetheart, I’m listening”

 

Mrs. Cho manages to smile and sound normal. She doesn’t want her son to get suspicious that there’s something wrong. She needs to follow what her husband wants and that is to hide his real condition from Kyuhyun.

 

“Our vacation in Sydney is fine, but we need to go home early. We supposed to stay there for a long time, but you know your dad sweetheart. He always misses Seoul whenever he’s in Sydney and he also misses you and Minnie that much and that’s the reason why we’re back here in Seoul”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son who laughs softly.

 

“Dad never changes at all. He really doesn’t want to stay in Sydney for a long time. By the way, where is he?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“He’s taking a nap sweetheart because he’s tired of work. He had a lot of meeting awhile ago. He wants to sleep and rest for awhile”

 

Mrs. Cho lied. Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“How about you and Minnie? How’s London? Are you taking good care of your wife?”

 

Mrs. Cho asks. Kyuhyun nods his head happily.

 

“Of course mom, I’m taking good care of my baby. We’re going out later. I’m going to tour her in some places here in London. She already misses you and dad”

 

“We miss her too. Where is my baby girl? Can I talk to her?”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head. He looks at his wife. Sungmin is still sleeping like an angel.

 

“I’m sorry mom, but my baby Min is still sleeping. Do you really want to talk to her? I’ll wake her up”

 

“Oh no sweetheart! Don’t wake her. Let her sleep”

 

Mrs. Cho told her son while staring at the desk clock.

 

“I’m sorry Kyu. I forgot that it’s still early in the morning there. Sorry for calling you so early and disturbing your sleep sweetheart”

 

“Don’t be…”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Actually, I’m already awake when you call. I’m watching my wife sleep”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother happily. Mrs. Cho smiles.

 

“By the way sweetheart…”

 

Mrs. Cho sighs.

 

“Hara is here in Seoul”

 

Kyuhyun suddenly flashes a bright smile upon hearing Hara’s name.

 

“Really?”

 

Kyuhyun asks excitedly. Mrs. Cho nods her head.

 

“Yes sweetheart. Well, she was here awhile ago. We have a little chat. She was looking for you, but I told her that you’re in London with your wife and you guys are going to stay there for a week”

 

“Did she say something aside from looking for me?”

 

“She wants to have dinner with us when you and Minnie arrive next week. I gave your number to her because she wants to talk to you”

 

Kyuhyun nods happily, approving what his mother did.

 

“Sweetheart, I know that Hara is your crush and you’re excited to see her again after a long time, but…”

 

Mrs. Cho sighs.

 

“You already have a wife. Don’t forget that. Don’t ever make Minnie jealous because of Hara. If you know what I mean”

 

“Mom…”

 

Kyuhyun stares at his wife and wraps an arm around her.

 

“Hara is just my crush and it’s already a past. Min is my wife and I love her. Why will I exchange her from Hara?”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“That thing will never happen mom. I will never exchange Min to any other woman. She’s my one and only wife and the girl that I love most, so please stop being paranoid”

 

“I’m not being paranoid sweetheart”

 

Mrs. Cho pouts.

 

“I’m just reminding you playboy”

 

“Playboy?”

 

Kyuhyun chuckles.

 

“Not anymore mom. I’m already a good boy now because of Min. I don’t do stupid things anymore. I don’t want to hurt my wife and make her cry and sad”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother, making her smile. Mrs. Cho is really happy that her son is no longer arrogant and rude.

 

“Your dad and I are really happy that you finally change for the better. Thanks to our baby girl. Minnie is really your angel”

 

“And will remain as my angel”

 

Kyuhyun told his mother happily before softly kissing Sungmin’s forehead. Mrs. Cho nods happily.

 

“Just enjoy your vacation with her. Take care of her all the time. We both miss you so much. I hope you guys will go home soon”

 

“We will be back next week”

 

“Arasso. Go back to sleep sweetheart and stop being noisy now or else you’ll wake Minnie. Your dad and I love you and Minnie so much”

 

Kyuhyun flashes a sweet smile.

 

“We love you too and dad. Please kiss and hug him for me and Min. See you and dad next week. Take care. Bye”

 

Kyuhyun hangs up. He places his mobile phone under his pillow. He looks at Sungmin and carefully kisses her lips.

 

“I love you. I’ll just prepare our bath. I’ll be back to wake you”

 

Kyuhyun whispers happily. He slowly gets off of the bed and went inside the bathroom, still . He prepares a warm milk bath for him and his loving wife.

 

“Aish! I should have plan for a romantic morning bath with my baby Min. Why am I so stupid that I didn’t even think about it?”

 

Kyuhyun asks his self. He ruffles his hair irritatingly.

 

“The bathroom should be filled with lots of rose petals and lavender candles to fill the room with rose and lavender scent”

 

Kyuhyun suddenly pouts.

 

“But where on earth am I supposed to get those things early in the morning?”

 

Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“Maybe we can just have a romantic bath when we have our honeymoon”

 

Kyuhyun nods his head while smiling brightly.

 

“I’ll just do my lovely plan on our honeymoon. What matters most is that we’re going to take a bath together this morning. That will be lovely and still romantic even though there are no rose petals and lavender candles”

 

Kyuhyun told his self while nodding his head happily. He walks towards the marble counter and opens the drawer, hoping that he can find something special inside. Kyuhyun suddenly smiles brightly when he sees a box of lavender incense inside.

 

“I’m lucky!”

 

Kyuhyun whispers happily.

 

“It’s good that the hotel have this for relaxation”

 

Kyuhyun told his self while getting the box of lavender incense and the incense holder inside the drawer. He puts it on top of the marble counter. He opens the box of lavender incense and gets five pieces inside and puts it on the holder. Kyuhyun gets the box of match inside the drawer. Kyuhyun smiles and carefully lights the incense. He quickly returns the box of lavender incense and match inside the drawer and closes it before going out of the bathroom happily. He walks towards the bed and smiles while staring at his wife who is still sleeping peacefully.

 

“It’s time to wake up my beautiful baby”

 

Kyuhyun whispers. He giggles happily and joins Sungmin on the bed. He lay down behind his wife and hugs her from behind.

 

“Baby”

 

Kyuhyun softly whispers on Sungmin’s ear before brushing his lips gently on Sungmin’s earlobe.

 

“Baby, it’s time to wake up”

 

Kyuhyun whispers before sending his soft pinkish lips on Sungmin’s neck. He gently his wife’s milky skin, waking her.

 

“Kyu”

 

Sungmin whispers softly. Kyuhyun stops upon hearing his wife’s sweet voice. He smiles and softly planted a kiss on Sungmin’s cheek before resting his chin on her shoulder.

 

“Baby, it’s time to wake up. Open your eyes now”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife as he gently brushes a finger on Sungmin’s nose.

 

“Kyu, what time is it?”

 

Sungmin asks in sleepy manner. Kyuhyun raised his head and looks at the wall clock to check the time; it’s seven thirty in the morning.

 

“It’s already seven thirty in the morning”

 

Kyuhyun informs his wife before resting his chin back on Sungmin’s shoulder.

 

“It’s still early Kyu. Let’s go back to sleep now. I’m still sleepy”

 

“You don’t want to wake up?”

 

Sungmin didn’t answer. Kyuhyun smirks and starts planting soft kisses on his wife’s shoulder.

 

“Wake up now baby. You’re not going to win because I’ll keep on disturbing you until you finally open your eyes and wake up”

 

Kyuhyun told his beautiful wife while showering her shoulder with light and soft kisses.

 

“Kyu, it’s still early. I’m still sleepy. Let’s go back to sleep ok”

 

Sungmin whispers.

 

“I’ll wake you”

 

Kyuhyun whispers. He smiles and starts kissing Sungmin’s shoulder to her fingers, making her smile.

 

“Still sleepy?”

 

Kyuhyun asks while smiling. Sungmin answers him with a nod, without opening her eyes.

 

“What do you want me to do for you to wake up now huh?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, but Sungmin didn’t answer. Kyuhyun flashes an evil smile and slowly brushes his fingers on Sungmin’s bare skin on her abdomen, tickling her.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin starts laughing softly. She tries to remove her husband’s hands away from her, but Kyuhyun is holding her tight.

 

“Are you going to wake up or not?”

 

Kyuhyun asks before kissing Sungmin’s neck. He stops tickling her and moves his hands up, cupping his wife’s beautiful s, caressing it gently.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin whispers, controlling herself from .

 

“Do you want me to eat you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin gasps when Kyuhyun starts playing on her s, pinching it gently. Sungmin slowly opens her eyes.

 

“Kyu, it’s early for…ahhhhh”

 

Sungmin moans when Kyuhyun squeezes her s.

 

“You’re going to be my breakfast”

 

Kyuhyun whispers to Sungmin’s ear, making her blush. Kyuhyun crawls on top of his wife and stares at her beautiful face. He sends Sungmin’s arms around his neck.

 

“You’re awake now?”

 

Kyuhyun asks happily while staring at his wife’s innocent eyes that are still sleepy. Sungmin nods like a kid.

 

“Why are you waking me early in the morning?”

 

Sungmin asks before brushing her fingers on her husband’s gorgeous face.

 

“We’re going to take a bath together”

 

Kyuhyun laughs softly when Sungmin’s innocent eyes suddenly grow big and her beautiful face turns into bright red because of shyness.

 

“Don’t tell me that you’re shy again huh?”

 

Kyuhyun gently flicks his wife’s forehead. Sungmin nods shyly.

 

“Min…”

 

Kyuhyun starts caressing Sungmin’s cheek gently.

 

“I already see you . I already see everything, so you don’t need to be shy. I know that it’s unfair on your side because you can’t see, but someday you will and if that day finally comes, I’ll be the one who will take off my clothes in front of you”

 

“Why will you do that?”

 

“So you can see me …just to be fair”

 

Kyuhyun laughs softly when Sungmin starts blushing so hard.

 

“We’re just going to take a bath together baby. I’m not going to do anything and I won’t be naughty, so don’t be afraid and shy”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife who is still feeling shy towards him. Kyuhyun gives Sungmin a sweet peck before getting off of her.

 

“After taking a bath, we’re going to call for a housekeeping to clean our room”

 

“I can clean our room Kyu”

 

“What?”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Excuse me baby, you’re a guest here and it’s not your job to clean our room ok”

 

“But Kyu…”

 

Kyuhyun softly kisses Sungmin’s wonderful lips to stop her from talking.

 

“Housekeeping is part of the hotel’s service, so leave the cleaning to them and I won’t allow you to do that. You’re my Princess. I don’t want you to have a hard time. I just want you to relax and enjoy”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, hugging her. Kyuhyun rests his head on Sungmin’s s. Sungmin starts her husband’s hair gently.

 

“After calling for housekeeping then we’re going at The Promenade and have our breakfast and then we’re going around London”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife happily. Sungmin smiles brightly.

 

“Where are we going Kyu?”

 

Sungmin asks excitedly. Kyuhyun raised his head and gets off of the bed.

 

“We need to take a bath now, so you’ll know where I’m going to take you. Don’t worry baby. I’m sure that you’re going to enjoy your first day of tour here in London. I’ll be your tour guide”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife while flashing a proud smile. Sungmin was shock when Kyuhyun carries her like a bride.

 

“Let’s go at the bathroom now. I already prepare our warm milk bath awhile ago while you’re still sleeping”

 

Kyuhyun happily informs his wife. He starts walking and went inside the bathroom with Sungmin on his arms. Kyuhyun gently kicks the door, closing it. Sungmin smiles upon smelling the scent of the lavender.

 

“I love that smell. Nanny used to spray that kind of scent inside my room when we’re not yet sleeping together. It’s so relaxing”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun.

 

“I found a box of lavender incense inside the drawer. I used it to fill the bathroom with a very relaxing aroma. Since you love the lavender scent then…”

 

Sungmin holds Kyuhyun’s lips.

 

“You don’t need to ask nanny to spray it inside our room”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun removes his wife’s finger on his lips.

 

“Why? I thought you love the smell of the lavender?”

 

Kyuhyun asks curiously. Sungmin nods like a kid. Kyuhyun carefully puts down Sungmin in the bathtub. He smiles brightly and joins his wife.

 

“Come closer”

 

Kyuhyun gently pulls Sungmin towards him.

 

“Sit on my lap baby”

 

Kyuhyun commanded. Sungmin obeys him. She sits on her husband’s lap and wraps her arms around his neck. Kyuhyun wraps his arms around his wife’s waist.

 

“Why don’t you want nanny to spray lavender scent inside our room huh?”

 

Kyuhyun asks while staring at Sungmin curiously.

 

“Because I love your perfume. It always lingers inside our room. If we spray some lavender scent inside then your lovely scent will go away and I don’t want that to happen”

 

“You really love me huh?”

 

Sungmin nods happily.

 

“I love everything about you Kyu”

 

Sungmin told her husband while smiling sweetly at him.

 

“That was sweet baby”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He gently brushes his nose from hers.

 

“I love everything about you too Min”

 

Kyuhyun whispers on Sungmin’s lips before kissing it softly. Kyuhyun smiles and holds his wife’s beautiful face between his hands.

 

“I love you so much Cho Sungmin”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin, making her smile.

 

“By the way…”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin’s innocent eyes.

 

“Mom calls awhile ago. She told me that Hara is in Seoul and we’re going to have dinner with her when we return in Seoul”

 

Kyuhyun happily informs his wife. His smile suddenly vanished upon seeing Sungmin frowning.

 

“Baby, I’m sorry. It’s not what you’re thinking ok. Please don’t be jealo—“

 

Sungmin holds Kyuhyun’s lips, stopping him from talking.

 

“I hate you. How come you didn’t even give me the phone when mom called awhile ago?”

 

Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin who is frowning at him. He removes her finger on his lips.

 

“You hate me because of that and not Hara?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. He can see a sudden confusion on Sungmin’s expression.

 

“Hara? What’s the connection of your crush here? We’re talking about mom and not her, right?”

 

Sungmin asks her husband with confusion on her face. Kyuhyun just nods his head while flashing a weak smile.

 

“Of course we’re talking about mom”

 

Kyuhyun lied. He just decided not to mention Hara and their dinner with her when they return in Seoul because he’s afraid that his wife will just get jealous and mad at him.

 

“You know that I already miss mom and dad. How come you didn’t allow me to talk to them when they call you awhile ago?”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun, still frowning.

 

“I’m sorry baby”

 

Kyuhyun softly kisses his wife’s lips.

 

“It’s just that you’re still sleeping awhile ago when mom calls me. I just don’t want to wake you and mom also told me not to wake you. I didn’t have the chance to talk to dad because he’s sleeping when mom calls me. But don’t worry baby…”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and brushes his nose from hers.

 

“We’re going to call mom and dad later after our breakfast, so you can talk to them. Fair enough?”

 

Sungmin nods.

 

“You smile now or else we’re not going to call mom and dad later”

 

“Promise me first that we’re going to call them later”

 

“I promise my beautiful baby”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly.

 

“That was a very lovely smile. Let’s take a bath now, so we can already eat our breakfast. I’m feeling hungry now”

 

“Arasso”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and stares at Sungmin’s innocent eyes.

 

“I love you so much Cho Sungmin”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife while staring at her innocent eyes full of love for her.

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun happily. She gives him a sweet peck on his lips.

 

“Let’s take a bath now”

 

Kyuhyun nods happily. He kisses his wife’s lips softly and starts bathing her.

*CHO MANSION, SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA*

 

 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Cho are having a peaceful dinner with Jessica and Tiffany.

 

“Fany…”

 

Tiffany looks at her uncle.

 

“Yes uncle?”

 

“When will Siwon return here in Seoul?”

 

Mr. Cho asks before drinking his orange juice. Tiffany flashes her eye smile.

 

“Tuesday next week. Why?”

 

Mr. Cho smiles at Tiffany before speaking.

 

“That’s good because next week, Friday, we’re going to celebrate”

 

“CELEBRATE?”

 

Tiffany and Jessica ask in unison. Mr. Cho nods happily at them.

 

“We’re going to have a party next week because I’m going to formally introduce Kyu as the new President of Cho International Group of Companies. I’m already stepping down as the President of the company”

 

Mr. Cho happily announces. Tiffany and Jessica stare at Mrs. Cho who manages to smile at them while controlling her tears from falling. Tiffany and Jessica stare at each other worriedly before focusing their eyes upon their uncle who is smiling brightly in spite of the great pain that he is experiencing; emotionally and physically.

 

“Uncle…”

 

Mr. Cho weakly raises his hand to stop Jessica from talking.

 

“Kyu is my only son and he’s the rightful heir to everything. I know that Kyu will be a good President and he will manage the company and the people under him properly”

 

“Uncle, we all know that Kyu will be a great President, but….”

 

Mr. Cho stops Jessica from talking as he weakly raises his hand again.

 

“I need to take a rest. You all know about my real condition. I’m just pretending that I’m healthy and I’m fine in front of Kyu because he doesn’t know anything about my illness and he will remain innocent. I need to transfer everything to Kyu as soon as possible because we don’t know when I will say good bye”

 

“Honey…”

 

Mrs. Cho holds her husband’s hand, controlling her tears from falling.

 

“Please don’t say that”

 

“I’m just telling the truth honey”

 

Mr. Cho smiles weakly at his wife. Tiffany and Jessica stare at their uncle sadly.

 

“Uncle, are you sure that we should hide it from Kyu? He deserves to know because he’s your son and it will be unfair for him”

 

Jessica told Mr. Cho. Tiffany nods her head, agreeing to Jessica.

 

“Kyu will be very sad and hurt if ever he finds out that we hide the truth to him about your real condition”

 

Tiffany told Mr. Cho who nods at them.

 

“I know that Kyu has the right to know about my real condition because he’s my son and I love him. But…”

 

Mr. Cho shook his head.

 

“I want him to remain innocent because I don’t want him to blame his self. That boy will only blame his self for being an arrogant child of mine before. He will blame his self for not becoming a good son and I don’t want that to happen. I don’t want him to think that he didn’t become a good son because that’s not true. He’s not a bad person. He just loses his way before, but now, he already found it”

 

Mr. Cho takes a sip on his orange juice.

 

“I don’t want him to be sad. I just want him to be happy all the time and I always want to see his smile. Please just do this favor for me”

 

They all nod at Mr. Cho who smiles at them.

 

“Why are we talking about my illness? We should be talking some happy thing like Kyu and Minnie’s honeymoon in London”

 

Mr. Cho told them happily. They all smile at him.

 

“I’m really excited to have a grandchild”

 

Mr. Cho told his wife.

 

“Me too honey”

 

Mrs. Cho smiles brightly.

 

“I hope the couple will have good news when they finally return here in Seoul. It will be happy to welcome a new member in the family. I’m sure that our grandchild will be very adorable and lovely like Kyu and Minnie”

 

Mr. Cho happily told his wife. Mrs. Cho nods in agreement.

 

“I hope it will be twins. Boy and girl. That will be lovely. I hope Kyu and Minnie will have twins, so I’ll be having cute grandchildren soon”

 

Mr. Cho told them happily. Jessica and Tiffany giggle happily.

 

“I’m going to envy Minnie if she will have twins. I always dream to have twins, but too bad, it’s not in our genes”

 

Tiffany told them while gently rubbing her tummy.

 

“But it’s ok. I know that my baby will be adorable and lovely”

 

“Of course sweetheart”

 

Mrs. Cho told Tiffany happily.

 

“Honey…”

 

Mr. Cho looks at his wife with a bright smile on his lips.

 

“Let’s call Kyu and our baby girl later before we go to sleep. I really miss them so much and I want to hear their voices”

 

Mr. Cho told his wife who nods happily at him.

 

“Yes honey. I’m sure that Kyu and our baby girl will be happy to hear your voice. Our baby girl really misses us that much”

 

“I also want to tell Kyu that I’m expecting good news from them when they return here next week. I’m really excited to have a grandchild soon. It will be so lovely. It’s been a long time since I last carry our Kyu on my arms and dance and sing a lullaby to put him to sleep. I want a baby Cho here in our family and I want to see my grandchild before I say good bye”

 

“Honey…”

 

Mr. Cho raises his hand weakly to stop his wife from talking.

 

“I hope Kyu and our baby girl can fulfill my wish”

 

Mrs. Cho smiles at her husband and holds his hand.

 

“Of course honey, I’m sure that they will give us a grandchild soon”

 

Mr. Cho nods happily. He smiles at his wife and continue eating his dinner while thinking about his cute grandchild.

*THE PROMENADE, DORCHESTER HOTEL*

 

 

 

Sungmin and Kyuhyun had a peaceful and delicious breakfast at The Promenade at Dorchester Hotel. They are sitting quietly inside the restaurant while waiting for their bill before strolling around London.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Kyuhyun looks at his wife.

 

“Yes baby? Do you want something?”

 

“I thought we’re going to call mom and dad. You promise me awhile ago that we’re going to call them after eating our breakfast. We’re done eating now, let’s call them. Please”

 

“Arasso”

 

Sungmin smiles, making her husband smile as well. Kyuhyun is really happy whenever he’s seeing Sungmin smiling and he really loves the way his wife smiles. Kyuhyun gets his mobile phone inside his pocket. He was about to scan his contacts when his mobile phone suddenly rings.

 

“Dad is calling”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife happily.

 

“Answer it”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun excitedly. Kyuhyun smiles at his wife before answering the call.

 

“Dad”

 

Kyuhyun answers the call happily. Mr. Cho smiles brightly upon hearing his son’s voice.

 

“Hi son, you sound so happy. What happen?”

 

Mr. Cho asks while smiling brightly.

 

“Min and I just finish our breakfast. We’re supposed to call you because Min wants to talk to you and mom. I’ll give the phone to her”

 

Kyuhyun stands up and sits beside Sungmin.

 

“Baby, you can talk to dad now”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand and gives her his mobile phone. Sungmin smiles before pressing her husband’s mobile phone on her right ear.

 

“Dad”

 

Mr. Cho smiles upon hearing his daughter in law’s voice.

 

“Hi baby girl, how are you?”

 

Mr. Cho asks. Sungmin flashes a sweet smile.

 

“I’m fine dad. Kyu and I just finish eating our breakfast. We’re just waiting for the bill before we stroll around London. Kyu told me that he will give me a happy trip here in London”

 

Sungmin told her father in law happily.

 

“How are you dad?”

 

“I’m fine sweetheart”

 

Mr. Cho lied.

 

“How about mom?”

 

“She’s fine too. Don’t worry about us baby girl. We’re fine here. Just enjoy your vacation with Kyu”

 

Sungmin nods her head happily.

 

“Your mom and I are preparing to sleep now because we’re tired of work”

 

Mr. Cho lied again.

 

“Did you already drink your milk? I told nanny before I fly here in London to always prepare a warm cup of milk for you before you go to sleep”

 

Sungmin told her father in law. Mr. Cho nods happily.

 

“I’m already done drinking my milk sweetheart. Thank you”

 

“Sure?”

 

Mr. Cho nods.

 

“Yes baby girl. I drink it first before I call Kyu”

 

Sungmin flashes a smile.

 

“I miss you dad and of course mom”

 

“We miss you too our baby girl. Please go home soon, arasso?”

 

Sungmin nods happily.

 

“Kyu and I will be home next week. You take care of yourself and of course mom. Don’t tire yourself that much. I love you dad and of course mom. I’ll see you soon”

 

“We love you too Minnie. See you soon”

 

“I’ll give the phone now to Kyu”

 

Mr. Cho nods. Sungmin puts her husband’s mobile phone on the table.

 

“Kyu, dad wants to talk to you”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun gets his mobile phone on the table and talk to his father.

 

“Yes dad?”

 

“Are you taking care of our baby girl?”

 

Kyuhyun nods happily while staring at Sungmin.

 

“Of course dad”

 

“I miss you son”

 

“I miss you too dad”

 

Mr. Cho smiles brightly when he remembers something. He remembers the topic about his grandchild and he needs to demand that to his son and daughter in law.

 

“Kyu, I need to tell you something important”

 

Kyuhyun nods his head.

 

“Go ahead dad. I’m listening”

 

“Well…”

 

Mr. Cho takes a deep breath, feeling excited and happy.

 

“Your mom and I are looking forward to hear good news from you and Minnie when you return here in Seoul next week”

 

Mr. Cho told his son who suddenly get confused. Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow.

 

“Good news? What good news?”

 

Kyuhyun asks with confusion in his voice. Mr. Cho nods happily.

 

“Yes good news. I’m talking about our grandchild. Your mom and I are really looking forward to it. We really hope that our baby girl is already pregnant when you return here next week”

 

Mr. Cho told his son happily.

 

“WE’RE REALLY EXCITED SWEETHEART! WE WANT TO HAVE A GRANDCHILD SOON!”

 

Kyuhyun heard his mother shouting happily. Kyuhyun suddenly feels upset because he can’t fulfill his parents’ wish because of what happen to his wife and his parents don’t have any idea about it. He looks at Sungmin who is sitting quietly on beside him. He stares at her sadly.

 

“Ah, dad…about that thing, well…”

 

“Come on Kyu. What’s wrong on being a daddy soon? Son, please…”

 

Mr. Cho clears his throat before continuing.

 

“I want to have a grandchild soon. I want a little Cho here in the family because the mansion is so quiet. I want to see a little kid running around and bothering all of us. I miss taking care of a baby. I can no longer carry you on my arms and dance to put you to sleep because you’re already a big boy now”

 

Mr. Cho told his son while laughing softly.

 

“I know that Minnie is still young to be a mom, but it’s not bad if you will be parents soon. It will be a great blessing to have a new member in the family. You’re already twenty four and I think that you’re already on the right age to be a father. I know that you’re going to be a good father and of course Minnie will also be a good mother. So please son, it’s really my wish. Please give me a grandchild soon. I’m really going to be happy if you and Minnie will give me a grandchild soon. You can do that for me, right? I’m not asking for too much, right?”

 

Mr. Cho told his son, feeling excited. Kyuhyun didn’t answer because he doesn’t know what to say. He can’t tell his father that his wife is suffering from a minor trauma in her lower part and Doctor Park told them to avoid making love for three months. Kyuhyun is sure that his parents will be very upset if they find out about it and his father will surely be emotional and will feel very disappointed.

 

“Kyu, are you still there?”

 

Mr. Cho asks when Kyuhyun didn’t even speak.

 

“Yes dad. I’m listening”

 

Kyuhyun told his father while flashing a weak smile because he suddenly feels sad because he can’t fulfill his father’s wish.

 

“Well, anyway…”

 

Mr. Cho smiles.

 

“Go home next week because we’re going to have a party”

 

Mr. Cho told his son happily.

 

“About?”

 

Kyuhyun asks curiously.

 

“You’ll know it. Just enjoy first your vacation with your wife and don’t forget my grandchild. I love you”

 

“I love you too. See you and mom soon. Take care”

 

Kyuhyun told his father before hanging up.

 

“What did dad tell you?”

 

Sungmin asks as she turns her head towards Kyuhyun’s direction.

 

“Well…”

 

Kyuhyun thinks for the meantime. He stares at his wife’s sweet smile.

 

“I can’t tell Min that dad and mom are looking forward to have a grandchild soon. Min will only feel pressure and of course sad at the same time because she knows that she can’t bear a child at her condition right now. She might just force herself to make love to me just to fulfill dad’s wish and we both know that we can’t do it for three months. I don’t want her to feel upset and end up blaming herself. I don’t want to see her crying”

 

Kyuhyun thought while staring at his wife’s happy face.

 

“He told me that we’re going to have party next week”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, skipping the topic about his parents’ wish to have a grandchild soon. Kyuhyun made up his mind that he will never tell it to his wife.

 

“Party?”

 

Sungmin asks curiously. Kyuhyun nods at her.

 

“Yes baby”

 

“Party about?”

 

Sungmin asks again. Kyuhyun shook his head. The waiter arrives with their bill. Kyuhyun gets his wallet inside his pocket and pays their bill before answering his wife.

 

“I don’t know baby. Dad didn’t tell me anything about it. He just told me to enjoy my vacation with you. Maybe it’s a surprise that’s why he doesn’t want to tell me some information about it or he will just tell it to us when we finally return in Seoul next week”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin who just nods her head. He suddenly remembers what his mother told him when she calls him early in the morning. Kyuhyun holds his wife’s hand and softly kisses it.

 

“Baby, I’m going to tell you something”

 

“Ok”

 

“But promise me first that you’re not going to get jealous or mad”

 

“Promise”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun with a sweet smile on her lips.

 

“Mom told me awhile ago when she calls me that Hara is currently in Seoul and she wants to see me. We’re going to have a dinner with her when we return in Seoul”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin.

 

“Ok”

 

“Ok?”

 

Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow while pouting.

 

“That’s all you can say? A simple ok?”

 

“What do you want me to say?”

 

Sungmin asks with confusion in her voice. Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Nothing”

 

“Then why are you complaining about my ok?”

 

“Well…”

 

Kyuhyun observes his wife’s expression. He wants to make sure that Sungmin is not jealous or mad at him.

 

“You’re not jealous or mad at all?”

 

Sungmin shook her head.

 

“Why will I get mad at you? You’re not doing anything”

 

“Hara is my crush”

 

Sungmin nods.

 

“I know. But you told me not to get jealous and I promise you that I won’t be jealous of her. I know that you love me, so I won’t be jealous. I’m the wife and she’s just a crush unless you’re going to exchange me from her and will give her more attention than me”

 

“Of course that thing will never happen my beautiful baby”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s cheek and gently caressed it.

 

“I’m not going to exchange you to any other girls and my attention is all yours”

 

Kyuhyun softly kisses Sungmin’s wonderful lips, making her smile. The waiter arrives with the receipt and Kyuhyun’s change.

 

“Just keep the change”

 

Kyuhyun gets the receipt and gives the change to the waiter.

 

“Thank you Sir”

 

Kyuhyun smiles at him. The waiter bows at Kyuhyun and Sungmin before walking away.

 

“Are we going now Kyu?”

 

“Yes baby. I just need to use the comfort room. Just stay here and wait for me”

 

Sungmin nods. Kyuhyun kissed her before going at the male’s comfort room. Sungmin was sitting quietly on the couch while waiting for her husband to arrive when she feels that someone sits beside her.

 

“Kyu, you’re so fast or you just forget something?”

 

Sungmin asks. Her heart starts beating fast when she smells a different scent; it’s not her husband’s scent.

 

“Who are you?”

 

Sungmin asks nervously. The man moves closer to her.

 

“Please…”

 

Sungmin’s eyes widened when the man touches her lips.

 

“Shhh, I won’t hurt you Miss Beautiful. Don’t be afraid of me. I just want to know you”

 

The man removes his finger on Sungmin’s wonderful lips.

 

“I was watching over you ever since you arrive here with your boyfriend. You’re really beautiful and you capture my attention. Can we go out?”

 

The handsome man asks Sungmin who shook her head. She didn’t understand anything because the man is speaking in English.

 

“You don’t understand English?”

 

The handsome man asks. Sungmin shook her head again because she really can’t understand anything at all.

 

“Oh!”

 

The handsome man holds his forehead.

 

“I almost forgot that you’re a foreigner. Anyway, just go with me. I won’t hurt you”

 

The handsome man told Sungmin. He stands up and holds Sungmin’s hand.

 

“Where are you taking me?”

 

Sungmin asks, feeling so scared.

 

“Just go with me”

 

The handsome man told Sungmin though he also doesn’t understand what Sungmin is telling him because he doesn’t know how to speak in Korean. He pulls Sungmin away from the couch and starts dragging her with him.

 

“Let go of me! I’m not coming with you!”

 

Sungmin starts struggling to escape from the handsome man, but he was holding her tight. He stops walking and looks at Sungmin who is already scared because of him.

 

“Please don’t hurt me. Let me go”

 

Sungmin told the handsome man. She shook her head.

 

“I’m not coming with you. Where are you taking me?”

 

Tears start forming in Sungmin’s innocent eyes.

 

“You’re coming with me whether you like it or not”

 

The handsome man told Sungmin and starts walking again, dragging Sungmin.

 

“LET ME GO! HELP ME! KYU!”

 

Sungmin shouts. The employees and some of the people inside the restaurant walk towards them to help Sungmin who keeps on struggling to escape from the man who wants to abduct her.

 

“KYU!”

 

Sungmin shouts her husband’s name again. The employees stop the man from going out of the restaurant. They we’re pulling Sungmin away from him, but he doesn’t want to let go of Sungmin.

 

“This girl is mine. Get out of my way. We’re leaving now!”

 

The handsome man told them angrily. Kyuhyun went out of the comfort room and was shock to see the commotion near the restaurant’s entrance. His eyes widened upon seeing the man holding Sungmin. Kyuhyun looks at the couch where he leaves his wife, it was empty. He looks at the man again and he was indeed holding Sungmin, trying to abduct her. Kyuhyun quickly runs towards the man to rescue his wife.

 

“LET GO OF MY WIFE YOU !”

 

Kyuhyun shouts in English and hits the man’s gorgeous face, causing him to fall on the floor.

 

“Kyu, where are you?”

 

Sungmin starts to panic when she hears loud shouts. She can hear her husband’s angry voice as well as the man who tries to abduct her.

 

“Kyu, where are you?”

 

Sungmin’s heart keeps on beating fast as she keeps on hearing loud noises. The employees of the hotel and restaurant manage to stop the commotion between Kyuhyun and the man.

 

“GET YOUR ING FACE OUT OF MY SIGHT! DON’T EVER TOUCH MY WIFE AGAIN OR I’LL KILL YOU!”

 

Kyuhyun told the man angrily. He was speaking in English. Kyuhyun manages to escape from the waiter that was holding him. He looks around and saw Sungmin who is already crying. Kyuhyun walks towards her.

 

“Baby…”

 

“Kyu…I’m scared”

 

Kyuhyun wipes Sungmin’s tears away.

 

“I’m here. No need to be scared. Nobody will hurt you now”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. He holds Sungmin’s hand and shoots the handsome man a deadly glare before leaving The Promenade.

“OUCH!”

 

Kyuhyun shouts while Sungmin was dabbing a cotton swab on the cut on his lower lip.

 

“Don’t move Kyu, so I can…”

 

Sungmin stops talking when Kyuhyun irritatingly grabs the cotton swab away from her hand.

 

“I told you that I can do it by myself and you still keep on insisting that you will do it when you can’t even see!”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife angrily before gently patting the cotton swab on his lower lip.

 

“I’m sorry”

 

Sungmin whispers sadly. Kyuhyun stops what he’s doing and looks at his wife who is wiping her tears away.

 

“Min…”

 

Kyuhyun puts down the cotton swab. He cups his wife’s beautiful face and stares at her tears that are falling from her eyes.

 

“Just tell me that you’re already tired of being my husband. I’m sorry Kyu. You’re hurt because of me and I can’t do anything because I can’t see. I’m sorry”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she starts to cry. Kyuhyun hugs her tight.

 

“I’m sorry baby. I shouldn’t tell you that. I’m just mad. I’m really mad at that ing man who tries to abduct you. I really want to break his bones awhile ago. They shouldn’t stop me from doing that. I’m sorry”

 

Kyuhyun was about to let go of Sungmin, but she hugs him tight.

 

“Baby, is there something wrong?”

 

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“Let me just hug you like this. Just for awhile, so I can take away your pain. At least I can do something for you even just a simple thing like this”

 

Sungmin told her husband.

 

“Ok”

 

Kyuhyun wraps his arms around Sungmin, hugging her tight as well.

 

“Let’s stay like this for the meantime”

 

Kyuhyun told her. Sungmin stops crying. She closes her eyes and enjoys her husband’s warm arms around her. She always feels protected every time that Kyuhyun will hug her like that.

 

“Are you feeling better now Kyu?”

 

Sungmin asks worriedly. Kyuhyun nods.

 

“I’m fine baby Min. Don’t worry about it. It’s just a small cut on my lower lip”

 

“You’re still hurt”

 

“It’s nothing”

 

Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin and holds her beautiful face between his hands. Kyuhyun wipes his wife’s tears.

 

“I’m fine baby. No need to worry. Maybe you can just kiss my lips so I’ll feel much better”

 

Sungmin smiles and gives Kyuhyun a sweet and gentle peck on his lips.

 

“Much better?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun smiles and leans forward to kiss his wife. Kyuhyun presses his lips on hers. Sungmin pressed her lips on his to respond to his kiss. Kyuhyun starts working on his jaw back and forth to slightly open his wife’s jaw. Sungmin’s lips parted. Kyuhyun slowly released his tongue and inserts it inside Sungmin’s mouth. His tongue crept between Sungmin’s lips until it finally meets her tongue. Their tongues began to play back and forth, tasting each other all over inside of Sungmin’s mouth. Kyuhyun slowly breaks the kiss when he feels a little pain on his lips because of the cut on his lower lip.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin places her hand on Kyuhyun’s gorgeous face.

 

“Are you ok now?”

 

Sungmin asks worriedly. Kyuhyun nods his head with a smile on his lips. He holds his wife’s hand and softly kisses it.

 

“I’m fine now. Let’s go out now. I have a very special plan for us today”

 

“What is it?”

 

Sungmin asks excitedly. Kyuhyun gently brushes his nose on hers.

 

“You’ll know it baby. Smile for me first or else we’re not going to go out today”

 

“That’s unfair”

 

Sungmin pouts.

 

“I told you to smile and not to pout. Come on baby Min. I want to see your sweet smile. I really love it whenever you’re smiling at me. You give me your sweetest smile first before we go”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin flashes her sweetest smile.

 

“Now you need to promise me something. I want you to promise me that you’re going to smile all the time and enjoy your first day of tour here in London”

 

Sungmin nods happily.

 

“I promise and I’m sure that I’m going to enjoy it because I’m with you”

 

“That was sweet”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and softly kisses Sungmin’s wonderful lips before getting off of the bed.

 

“Just stay on the bed first. I’ll just clean the mess before we go. I’ll just throw the cotton swabs on the trash bin and returns the ointment inside the first aid kit”

 

“Ok”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin happily.

 

“I love you Cho Sungmin”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife before pinching her nose gently.

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

Sungmin smiles at him. Kyuhyun nods happily and starts cleaning.

 After eating their lunch at Le Gavroche, Kyuhyun brings Sungmin in different historical places in London. Sungmin enjoys every place that they visit even though she can’t see the beauty of it. She enjoys every single minute of her stay in London because she’s with Kyuhyun; the man that she loves most and being with Kyuhyun is always the happiest moment in her life. After visiting some historical places in London, Kyuhyun brings his wife in shopping places as they shop around in which Sungmin keeps on protesting whenever Kyuhyun will buy something for her because she really doesn’t want her husband to spend a lot just for her. Kyuhyun just keep on frowning all the time as they shop around and buy something for his parents, Siwon, Tiffany and Jessica. After shopping around in London, Kyuhyun brings his wife at St Paul’s Cathedral because Sungmin told her that she wants to pray and thank God for the wonderful blessings that keep on arriving in her life. They pray together, thanking God for all the blessings that they are receiving and of course they thank Him for giving each other a chance to become husband and wife.

 

“Where are you going to take me Kyu?”

 

Sungmin asks as she holds on to her husband’s hand tightly.

 

“We’re going at the Whispering Gallery of the Cathedral”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife happily.

 

“Whispering Gallery? What is that?”

 

Sungmin asks curiously. Kyuhyun smiles at her.

 

“You’ll see. I’m sure that you’re going to be happy about it. You will enjoy the Whispering Gallery for sure”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, feeling excited. They walk for few more steps until they finally reach the Whispering Gallery at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

 

“It’s good that the people are few. Usually, this place is very crowded. But I guess we’re lucky that there are only few people around. We can concentrate properly”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin happily.

 

“What are we going to do here Kyu?”

 

“Well…”

 

Kyuhyun lead Sungmin’s way as they walk towards the wall.

 

“For me, this is the best place here in St. Paul’s Cathedral. Lovers always go here just to whisper sweet nothing to each other”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin while staring at her confused expression.

 

“Baby, due to its acoustics, you can whisper sweet nothings against its walls and you can be heard on the opposite side”

 

“For real?”

 

Sungmin asks, feeling so excited like a little kid who is excited for his party. Kyuhyun nods happily upon seeing an excitement on his wife’s beautiful face.

 

“Yes baby. Want to try it?”

 

Sungmin nods happily.

 

“You stay here and I’ll go at the opposite side. Don’t go anywhere, arasso?”

 

“Yes Kyu”

 

“Ok. You press your ear on the wall”

 

Sungmin nods at her husband. Kyuhyun places his wife’s hands on the wall. Sungmin happily runs her hands on it before pressing her right ear on the wall.

 

“Kyu, you go on the opposite side now. Let’s try it”

 

“Don’t go anywhere”

 

“Arasso”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly. Kyuhyun gives her a sweet peck on her lips before running at the opposite side of the wall. Sungmin waits for her husband excitedly. She really wants to try what Kyuhyun told her about the Whispering Gallery.

 

“Baby Min, are you there?”

 

Kyuhyun whispers. Sungmin’s eyes widened upon hearing her husband’s soft whisper.

 

“Kyu, are you sure that you’re on the opposite side of the wall?”

 

Sungmin asks softly. Kyuhyun nods happily.

 

“I’m not fooling you baby. I told you awhile ago that you can whisper words with someone against the walls of this gallery. That’s why it is called a the Whispering Gallery”

 

“Wow! It’s so amazing”

 

Sungmin told her husband, feeling so amaze.

 

“I told you my beautiful baby. You’re going to enjoy this Whispering Gallery. Am I right?”

 

Sungmin nods happily.

 

“Yes you’re right Kyu. This is really amazing and it’s really enjoyable”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun smiles on the opposite side of the wall. He can’t help but to smile brightly because he’s happy that his wife is happy and he’s happy because they are enjoying every single second that they are together.

 

“I love you Cho Sungmin”

 

Kyuhyun whispers sweetly. Sungmin smiles brightly.

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

“You’re the only girl that I love and will love. Thank you for coming into my life. I never know what love is until I met you. Honestly, I always think that love is just a game that you can play because I never know how to love before. But because I found you, I understand everything. You help me understand life and love. Your pure heart and your unconditional and true love for me help me change to become a better person. I was lost before baby, but because you arrive into my life, I found my way again. You’re my angel and will always be my angel”

 

Sungmin suddenly feels very special upon hearing her husband.

 

“I will always remember the thing that you told me before when we’re up on that Ferris wheel”

 

Kyuhyun smiles brightly, remembering what his wife told him before.

 

“Love is something that you feel and not see and I understand it very well. You love me for who I am. You love me even though I’m very rude to you before. You still love me even though I hurt you that much and you love me even though you haven’t seen me yet”

 

“Kyu, I love everything about you. I love you Cho Kyuhyun, no matter who you are. I told you that you’re not a bad person. You’re just an arrogant man, but never a bad person”

 

Sungmin told her husband. She keeps the smile on her lips when she hears Kyuhyun singing softly.

“Yes Kyu? I’m listening. Why did you stop singing?”

 

Sungmin asks as she slowly opens her eyes.

Kyuhyun whispers on the wall. Sungmin smiles upon hearing those sweet words from her husband.

 

“You know baby? I have one wish”

 

“What is it Kyu?”

 

Kyuhyun’s tears start forming in his eyes as his heart starts aching because of the sudden sadness that he’s feeling.

 

“I wish…”

 

Kyuhyun stops talking for awhile. He clears his throat that is already aching because of holding back his tears. Kyuhyun takes a deep breath before speaking.

 

“Baby…I wish that you can see the world soon. I want you to have eyesight. I want you to see the beauty of the world. I want you to see the light and the people around you”

 

Kyuhyun bites his lower lip, still controlling his tears from falling.

 

“I want you to see yourself and I want you to realize how beautiful you are whenever you’re going to look at the mirror. I want you to see your sweet smile. I want you to see me and our future kids and I want you to be happy. I know that you’re going to be happy when you finally see the light. I don’t want you to live in darkness forever. Kyuhyun told Sungmin while controlling his tears from falling. Sungmin can feel Kyuhyun’s sadness. She can feel the tears that he keeps on holding back. Even though she can’t see him, she can feel the pain and the sadness that her husband was feeling on that moment.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin stops talking. She doesn’t know how to tell her husband that she’s still afraid to hear what the eye doctor will tell her. She slowly raises her right close against the wall and starts moving it to ring the little bells on the bracelet that she’s wearing. Sungmin didn’t speak. She just keeps on moving her right hand to ring the little bells. That’s the only way that she can think to help ease the pain and sadness that her husband was feeling. Kyuhyun slowly closes his eyes. His tears start falling slowly while listening to the soft and calming sound of the little bell. He holds his chest as he starts sobbing quietly. He doesn’t want his wife to know that he’s crying.

 

“If only I can take away the pain baby…if only I can make a miracle then I’m going to give you eyesight right away. I know that you’re suffering so much because of being blind and I know that you’re sad whenever you’re thinking about what you heard from the eye doctor before. I want you to see. I know that I’m a bad person, but I know that God is never deaf and blind. I pray awhile ago. I pray with all my heart and wish for you to be able to see someday and I know that He will grant my wish someday because I know that He’s listening even to a bad person like me”

 

Kyuhyun told his self while listening to the sound of the little bells.

 

“Kyu, I love you”

 

Sungmin whispers on the wall. Kyuhyun quickly wipes his tears away. He takes a deep breath and start walking away. He went to his wife’s direction. Sungmin was shock when someone pulls her gently and hugs her tight. Sungmin easily recognizes the person because of his lovely scent.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Kyuhyun didn’t answer. He just hugs his wife tightly.

 

“I love you so much baby”

 

“Kyu…”

 

“Shhh…let’s stay like this for the meantime. I want to hug you like this and I want to be close to you like this”

 

Kyuhyun whispers, still hugging his wife tight, never letting her go. Sungmin wraps her arms around Kyuhyun, hugging him tightly too.

 

“I love you”

 

Sungmin whispers before resting her head on her husband’s chest. Sungmin slowly closes her eyes as she listens to her husband’s heartbeat. She really can’t understand why Kyuhyun suddenly feels sad. The only thing that she can understand is her husband loves her that much and she needs to hug him like that to comfort him and take his sadness away and to tell him that they can outshine everything as long as they are together and their love for each other will make them stronger.

Kyuhyun carries Sungmin and carefully puts her down inside the hot air balloon.

 

“Kyu”

 

Sungmin calls her husband. Kyuhyun jumps inside to join her.

 

“Yes baby?”

 

Sungmin reaches her hand out, trying to find him.

 

“Where are you?”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hands.

 

“I’m here, right in front of you”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. Sungmin suddenly hugs Kyuhyun when she feels that the ground is moving and it’s even going up.

 

“Aigoo! Kyu…why is the ground moving? It’s taking us up”

 

Sungmin told her husband, feeling so scared.

 

“I’m scared”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun as she tightens her grip on Kyuhyun who looks at her. He starts laughing softly while staring at his wife’s scared face.

 

“Don’t laugh at me Kyu. I’m serious. I’m scared. Just answer me. Why is the ground moving up? I mean, we’re moving up”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun while frowning.

 

“What will you do if I tell you that we’re already up on the sky?”

 

“WHAT?”

 

Sungmin shouts with wide eyes open. Kyuhyun smiles and hugs his wife.

 

“Don’t be afraid. It’s safe up here. We’re actually riding a hot air balloon”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife happily.

 

“For real?”

 

“Yes baby”

 

Kyuhyun holds his wife’s hand as he walks at the other side of the hot air balloon, guiding his wife’s way. Kyuhyun stands behind Sungmin and hugs her from behind.

 

“Are you still scared?”

 

Kyuhyun asks before kissing Sungmin’s cheek. Sungmin smiles and shook her head. Kyuhyun rests his chin on her shoulder.

 

“Kyu, it feels so great up here”

 

Sungmin told her husband happily while feeling the cold wind that is blowing slowly.

 

“If you’re up here and you’re going to look down there, everything is small. It is as if you’re in a miniature country. But if you’re going to look around, you will see the beauty of London and will have a perfect view of London”

 

Kyuhyun whispers to his wife’s ear.

 

“In our position right now, we’re facing the sun. Can you feel it? The warm rays of the sun that slowly fading?”

 

Sungmin nods happily at her husband. Indeed, she can feel the warm rays of the sun that slowly fades even though she can’t see it.

 

“We’re actually up here to watch the sunset before we go back in our hotel”

 

“That will be lovely”

 

Sungmin told her husband happily. Kyuhyun looks at his wife. Sungmin is smiling brightly even though she can’t even see anything. Kyuhyun feels a bit sad because he really wants to watch the sunset with his wife. Of course he’s watching it with her because she’s there with him, but what makes Kyuhyun sad is his wife can’t see the beauty of the sunset because she’s blind.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin whispers.

 

“Hmmm?”

 

“Why are you so quiet? Is there something wrong?”

 

Sungmin asks worriedly.

 

“Well…”

 

Kyuhyun rests his chin back on his wife’s shoulder.

 

“There’s nothing wrong baby. I’m just thinking something”

 

“Thinking about?”

 

“Our dinner later”

 

Kyuhyun lied. Of course he can’t tell his wife that he’s actually thinking about her eyes. He can’t tell Sungmin that he’s still feeling sad because of her condition.

 

“Are you sure that there’s nothing wrong Kyu? I can feel it even though you don’t say it to me. Please don’t lie to me”

 

Sungmin told her husband while frowning.

 

“I hate it when people lie to me because I’m blind. It’s easy to lie because I’m blind. But I have feelings and I can feel whether a person is lying or not”

 

“Baby…”

 

Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“I’m not lying to you. I’m telling you the truth. There’s nothing wrong. I’m really thinking about our dinner later”

 

Kyuhyun flashes a smile.

 

“You see. I’m the one who plans it. We’re going to have a cruise later”

 

“Cruise?”

 

Kyuhyun nods happily.

 

“It will be a romantic cruise and dinner at the same time. We’re going to have a cruise along the River Thames later”

 

“I suddenly feel excited about it”

 

Sungmin told her husband happily.

 

“Are you enjoying London?”

 

“Yes Kyu. I’m enjoying it so much. I know that London is a very beautiful country even though I can’t see it. I know that it’s beautiful just by listening to you awhile ago when you’re touring me in different historical places here. London indeed is a wonderful country”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun while smiling sweetly.

 

“We’re going to go in Chelsea tomorrow”

 

“For what?”

 

“We’re going to have full day chocolate ecstasy tour. We’re going to have a full day in the company of chocoholics. We’re going to visit and of course meet with three chocolatiers and taste incredible chocolates. Since you love sweets then I’m going to take you there”

 

Kyuhyun smiles brightly upon seeing the smile on his wife’s lips and excitement in her innocent eyes.

 

“I suddenly remember something…”

 

Kyuhyun stops talking as he starts laughing.

 

“What is it Kyu?”

 

“I remember Fany and Jess. Actually, we have a family vacation here before when I was a third year college student. Fany and Jess join us. They are the one who brings me in Chelsea to have a chocolate tour. They are so funny because they are like little brat kids. Somehow I enjoy it even though I hate to go in a vacation with my family because I’m not in good terms with dad and mom before”

 

Kyuhyun informs his wife.

 

“How about you baby?”

 

“Me?”

 

Kyuhyun nods. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“What do you mean by me? This is my first out of the country trip. I’ve never been in a vacation like this. We just have picnic every Sunday at the nearby park. That’s all. We can’t afford to have vacation like this because we’re not rich like you. I just had a vacation with Umma and Appa when we visit Umma’s province before she died. That’s all”

 

“What is the country that you want to visit?”

 

Kyuhyun asks curiously.

 

“Japan”

 

“Japan? Why Japan? It’s too common you know”

 

“But…”

 

Sungmin smiles.

 

“I’ve heard my classmates before that Japan is really beautiful”

 

“So true”

 

“Have you been there before?”

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“I’ve been there for about three times already. I’ve spend my seventh birthday in Tokyo Disneyland. We spend Christmas there when I was ten years old and the last time that I’ve been there is a business meeting. Dad sends me there to represent him though it’s against my will because I need to attend Seohyun’s birthday party. I really throw a fight with dad. We had a big fight and he almost disowns me as his son. I really hate him that much and I keep on thinking that he did that on purpose because he hates my friends and of course Seohyun”

 

Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“Now, I’m feeling sorry every time that I’m going to remember it. Dad is right when he told me that my friends will never bring good into my life and they will just keep on ruining me and my life. Now I finally understand dad and I’m lucky that it’s not yet too late when I start a new life with you and away from those jerks”

 

“Is it true that there are cherry blossoms there?”

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“There are lots of it in Japan. You can also find it in Seoul”

 

“But I want the cherry blossom in Japan”

 

Kyuhyun thinks for the meantime.

 

“Baby, when is your birthday?”

 

Kyuhyun asks curiously. He actually doesn’t know when is his wife’s birthday. He was thinking that he will bring Sungmin in Japan and let her experience the cherry blossom season in Japan as his birthday present to her.

 

“January 1^st, why?”

 

Kyuhyun giggles happily upon knowing his wife’s birthday.

 

“Ha! Perfect timing. Cherry blossoms in Okinawa blooms at the month of January. This is really great”

 

Kyuhyun thought happily.

 

“I’m just asking because I don’t know. I’m your husband. I need to know your birthday so we can celebrate it together”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin without telling her his wonderful plan for her birthday because it will be a surprise.

 

“OMO!”

 

Kyuhyun shouts happily as he points his finger on the sun that is slowly hiding its beauty.

 

“The sun is already hiding its beauty. Sunset is starting now baby”

 

Kyuhyun whispers happily on his wife’s ear.

 

“Was it beautiful?”

 

Sungmin asks curiously. Kyuhyun nods happily.

 

“Very lovely baby. We’re going to stay here for thirty minutes more before we go down and return to our hotel”

 

Sungmin nods her head.

 

“I love you baby”

 

Kyuhyun whispers before closing his eyes. Sungmin places her hands on Kyuhyun’s hands that are wrapped around her waist.

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

Sungmin whispers. She smiles brightly and slowly closes her eyes as she feels the cold wind that continues to blow slowly and the warmth of the sun’s rays that slowly fading and of course the warm arms of her husband that protects her from cold.

Kyuhyun was walking around their hotel room while talking to Onew over the phone, giving him one last instruction before Onew and Nicole fly back in Seoul on that night. He suddenly stops walking when he heard a soft click. He turns around and found his wife who just came out from the walk in closet, slowly walking while holding her long cane.

 

“Kyu, where are you?”

 

Sungmin asks as she continues walking slowly. Kyuhyun stares at her. He was amaze by his wife’s beauty and he just can’t take his eyes away from her.

 

“Sir, are you still there?”

 

Onew speaks to catch Kyuhyun’s attention.

 

“Just don’t forget to remind dad about his meeting with Mr. Kim. Call me whenever it’s needed. Bye”

 

Kyuhyun hangs up and puts his mobile phone inside his pocket. He walks towards Sungmin and wraps an arm around her waist. He gets her long cane away from her grip and lifts her up.

 

“Oh my goodness Kyu! What are you doing? Put me down”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun just smiles and walks towards their bed, still carrying his wife on his arm. Kyuhyun gently laid Sungmin on their soft bed and puts her cane on the bed. He crawls on top of his wife.

 

“Are you seducing me huh?”

 

Kyuhyun asks before kissing his wife’s wonderful lips. Sungmin opens to respond to her husband’s kiss. Kyuhyun kisses her hungrily as he presses his lips deeper into hers. Sungmin slowly opens to welcome her husband’s tongue inside her warm mouth. Kyuhyun rotates his tongue inside Sungmin’s mouth as their kiss becomes deeper and passionate. Kyuhyun pulls back before he can go further than a kiss. He looks at his wife.

 

“Who told you to wear that dress?”

 

Kyuhyun asks while biting his lower lip as he focused his eyes upon her wife’s y body. Sungmin was wearing a white out dress. The dress is made from a delicate woven mix. It is an off shoulder dress with scallop trim and a plunging neckline with mesh insert. Kyuhyun can have a wonderful view of his wife’s wonderful s, making him drool because he really loves Sungmin’s ies.

 

“Jessica Unnie told me that Miss Song was the one who chooses this dress for me because she thinks that it will suit me. It doesn’t look nice?”

 

Sungmin asks curiously as she wraps her arms around Kyuhyun’s neck.

 

“It’s nice and it’s really pretty on you. It’s just that it’s too y for you”

 

“y?

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“I can have a wonderful view of your ies and it exposes much of your flawless legs”

 

“Really?”

 

Sungmin asks with wide eyes open.

 

“That’s why you’re seducing me. Baby Min, why are you doing this to me? Why are you torturing me huh?”

 

“I’m not...”

 

Kyuhyun stops Sungmin from talking as he presses his soft pinkish lips back on her wonderful lips. Kyuhyun kisses her slowly and gently before opening his mouth slightly, giving his wife a hot and wet kiss. Kyuhyun Sungmin’s lips as he slowly introduces his tongue into while kissing her. Sungmin quickly pulls back to break the kiss when she feels Kyuhyun’s hand gently caressing her . Sungmin is actually afraid to go further.

 

“Why?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, sensing his wife’s nervousness while staring at her innocent eyes.

 

“I’m sorry Kyu…can we just go now?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun sighs as he understands what his wife meant. He gives her a soft peck on her lips before getting off of her.

 

“Let’s go baby Min”

 

Sungmin slowly sits on the bed.

 

“I’m sorry Kyu”

 

Sungmin told her husband sadly. Kyuhyun shook his head. He leans forward and softly kisses her lips.

 

“Shhhh…”

 

Kyuhyun pressed a finger on Sungmin’s wonderful lips.

 

“I’m not mad at all and I’m not disappointed as well. Please smile Cho Sungmin or I’ll leave you here alone”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. He smiles brightly when Sungmin flashes her sweetest smile.

 

“You’re really beautiful”

 

Kyuhyun gently pats Sungmin’s cheek and carries her like a bride.

 

“Let’s go my Princess and have our cruise along the River Thames while having a romantic dinner”

 

Kyuhyun happily told his wife, making her smile. Sungmin wraps her arms around Kyuhyun’s neck.

 

“Let’s go now Prince Charming”

Kyuhyun giggles happily, feeling excited. He quickly gives Sungmin a sweet peck on her lips.

 

“I love you”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin before going out of their room while carrying her on a bridal style.

Kyuhyun was holding Sungmin’s hands as they go inside one of the ships of Bateaux London. The wind is blowing softly and the weather is cold. The ship is filled with beautiful flowers and pink petals of American roses as well as candles on the floor. Sungmin smiles when she heard a beautiful melody being played by the string quartet.

 

“It was so lovely Kyu. I know it is lovely and very beautiful even though I can’t see it”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun while smiling brightly. Kyuhyun looks at his wife and smiles as he stares at Sungmin’s bright smile. He feels so happy being with her and of course he feels so happy seeing his wife happy and smiling like that. One of the waiters leads them to their table. Kyuhyun pulls the chair for his wife and help her to sit down before he sits down on his own chair. The waiter pours wine on their glasses. He bows at them before walking away to prepare their dinner. Kyuhyun gets Sungmin’s glass of wine. He holds her hand and gives her the glass.

 

“What is this Kyu?”

 

Sungmin asks.

 

“It’s Vermentino, an Italian wine”

 

Kyuhyun informs Sungmin before taking a sip on his wine.

 

“But Kyu…”

 

Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I’m not drinking”

 

Sungmin told her husband.

 

“Just give it a try baby. It’s just a wine. It taste good”

 

“But…”

 

“Just one sip. If you don’t want the taste then I’m going to order a fresh fruit shake for you”

 

Sungmin nods and takes a sip.

 

“So?”

 

Kyuhyun asks while staring at Sungmin curiously.

 

“It tastes like green apple and lime. It’s delicious”

 

“I told you baby. You’ll like it as much as I do”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin before finishing his wine. He puts the empty glass on the table and pours another glass. The waiters arrive to serve their luxury dinner.

 

“Are you going to eat alone or should I feed you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks Sungmin.

 

“I can eat alone Kyu. Just tell me the menu in an analog clock position and please give me my spoon”

 

“Aigoo!”

 

Kyuhyun suddenly feels nervous when he sees the dinner knife. He suddenly remembers the day when his wife tries to kill herself by slashing her wrist.

 

“Ah, baby…”

 

Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin. He was thinking that his wife will have a hard time to eat because her spoon is not with her. They only have dinner knife and fork and Sungmin is not used to use those utensils because she’s only using a spoon when she’s eating and the food is not arranged like an analog clock and he doesn’t know how he is going to place it on the right position. Kyuhyun stands up and moves his chair closer to hers.

 

“There’s no spoon baby. It’s only dinner knives and forks. I don’t want you to have a hard time and you might hurt yourself because of the dinner knife. I’ll just feed you. Let’s just eat on one plate”

 

“But Kyu, I don’t want you to have a hard time because of feeding me. You will not enjoy your dinner”

 

“Of course I will”

 

Kyuhyun asks one of the waiters to remove Sungmin’s plate and her utensils. The waiter obeys Kyuhyun and removes Sungmin’s plate and utensils from the table.

 

“Is there anything that you want Sir?”

 

The waiter asks Kyuhyun who shook his head, He bows at Kyuhyun and Sungmin before leaving. Kyuhyun gets his wife’s table napkin on top of the table. He unfolds it and puts it on Sungmin’s lap before putting some food on his plate. He gets his fork and dinner knife and gently slices the grilled haddock fillet and starts feeding Sungmin with it and the pesto pasta.

 

“Delicious?”

 

Sungmin nods while chewing the food carefully. Kyuhyun smiles and starts feeding his self. He gets his table napkin and wipes his wife’s lips before stuffing some food inside again.

 

“It’s more enjoyable to eat like this. Maybe we can just eat on one plate all the time. I’ll just feed you”

 

“But I’m not a baby anymore. I can feed myself alone”

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“I know, but you’re my baby”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin before feeding her some broccoli.

 

“I love feeding you like this. Just like a baby”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife happily while watching her chew her food carefully. Kyuhyun gently pinches Sungmin’s cheek.

 

“Why are you so cute huh?”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin while smiling brightly at her. He takes a sip on his wine before stuffing pesto pasta in his mouth. The cold wind continues to blow slowly. Kyuhyun removes his black suit. He stands up and stands behind his wife.

 

“Wear my suit baby, so you won’t feel cold. The weather is cold and the wind keeps on blowing, you might catch cold. I don’t want you to get sick”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin as he helps her wear his black suit.

 

“Come baby. Let’s dance. The music is so romantic. I just want to hold you close into my arms”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin and helps her to stand. He holds her hand and leads the way. Kyuhyun stops walking when they reach the center. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s right hand and places it on his shoulder. He wraps his right arm around his wife’s waist while his left hand holds Sungmin’s left hand. He presses his cheek on hers as they start dancing slowly on the romantic melody being played by the string quartet.

 

“The place in which we are in right now is filled with beautiful flowers. The floor is filled with pink American rose petals and candles. It was so lovely baby. I plan this romantic dinner only for you. I love you Min”

 

Kyuhyun whispers. Sungmin smiles sweetly.

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

Sungmin told her husband, making him smile. Kyuhyun looks at the moon.

 

“It was full moon baby Min”

 

“Really?”

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“It was shining so brightly and you can see it’s reflection on the River Thames. It was so lovely Min”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin as he suddenly feels sad because he also wants his wife to see the moon that shines so bright and its beautiful reflection on the River Thames.

 

“I know what you’re thinking Kyu”

 

Sungmin raises her head. Kyuhyun looks at her.

 

“I know that you’re thinking about me. You’re wishing that I can see the moon too as in right now”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun nods his head while staring at Sungmin’s innocent eyes sadly.

 

“Don’t be sad because you’re going to ruin our romantic dinner if you will be sad”

 

Sungmin flashes a smile to take her husband’s sadness away.

 

“I know that it’s beautiful because you told me that it’s beautiful and I believe that. But if you’re going to be sad then the moon will be ugly. You smile now”

 

Kyuhyun smiles brightly while staring at his lovely wife.

 

“That’s right Kyu. Just smile like that. I don’t want you to be sad. I can feel it even though you won’t tell it to me. I told you. You can never lie to me and I hate liars”

 

“Arasso”

 

Kyuhyun gently brushes his nose from hers.

 

“Let’s watch the moon together later. Is that ok with you?”

 

Sungmin asks. Kyuhyun nods happily because he already has an idea about it.

 

“No problem baby. Your wish is my command my dear Princess”

 

“Thank you Prince Charming”

 

Sungmin laughs softly. Kyuhyun saw the waiter holding the bouquet that he orders for Sungmin. He gestures him to put it on their table in which he obeys. Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin.

 

“Min, let’s go back to our table. I have something for you”

 

“What is it?”

 

Kyuhyun smiles at her.

 

“Secret”

 

He whispers on his wife’s ear. He holds her hand as they slowly and carefully walks towards their table. Kyuhyun helps Sungmin to sit down on her chair before going back on his seat. He carefully gets the bouquet on the table. The bouquet is a classic flower combination of Lilies, rosy pink gerberas, pink roses and red carnations.

 

“This is for you my Princess”

 

Kyuhyun puts the beautiful bouquet on Sungmin’s lap.

 

“Wow! This is the second bouquet that I’m going to receive from you”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun while smiling brightly. Kyuhyun gets his mobile phone inside his pocket.

 

“I’m going to get a picture of yours with the bouquet. I’m going to show it to you someday. Smile baby”

 

Sungmin nods and flashes a sweet smile. Kyuhyun smiles as she captures the moment using the camera of his mobile phone.

 

“That’s the thing that I forgot to bring. I forgot to bring my DSLR. Aish!”

 

Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“Next time that we have a vacation, I’m not going to forget it and I’m going to capture each moments with you”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife while staring at her lovely picture in his mobile phone. He asks one of the crews in the ship to take a picture of him and Sungmin.

 

“This is so perfect”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin while staring at their picture together and made it as his wallpaper.

 

“I made it as the wallpaper of my mobile phone. I’m going to show it to mom and dad. I’m sure that they will love it”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife excitedly. Sungmin laughs softly.

 

“Why are you laughing?”

 

“Because you’re so excited by the way you speak. I just found it cute. You’re like a little kid”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun while laughing softly. Kyuhyun leans forward and gently brushes his nose from hers before kissing her wonderful lips softly.

 

“I love you”

 

Kyuhyun whispers sweetly on her lips. Sungmin smiles and slowly place her right hand on Kyuhyun’s cheek.

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

Sungmin told her husband before leaning forward to give him a sweet peck on his lips. Kyuhyun smiles.

 

“Let’s continue our dinner?”

 

Sungmin nods happily. Kyuhyun kisses her lips first before feeding her happily.

Sungmin was sitting on the bed while pressing her back on the soft pillow behind her. She was holding the remote control as she was busy watching TV. She heard her husband’s mobile phone ringing.

 

“Why is his mobile phone keeps on ringing?”

 

Sungmin asks herself.

 

“KYU!”

 

Sungmin shouts as loud as she can.

 

“KYU!”

 

Sungmin shouts again.

 

“YES BABY? I’M STILL DRESSING UP!”

 

Kyuhyun shouts back. He was putting his clothes on after having a warm shower.

 

“YOUR MOBILE PHONE IS RINGING!”

 

Sungmin told him.

 

“JUST LET IT RING! IT WILL STOP SOON!”

 

Sungmin shook her head.

 

“NO! IT KEEPS ON RINGING! IT’S RINGING NONSTOP! JUST ANSWER IT! MAYBE IT’S IMPORTANT!”

 

“I’LL BE RIGHT THERE!”

 

Kyuhyun quickly fixes his hair and went out of the walk-in closet, wearing a black jeans, simple white polo shirt and white sneakers. He walks towards the bedside table and grabs his mobile phone. He stares at the unknown number.

 

“Who is this?”

 

Kyuhyun asks his self before answering the call.

 

“Yeoboseo”

 

“KYU!!!”

 

Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow upon hearing a loud scream of a girl.

 

“Excuse me? Who are you?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. The girl suddenly pouts.

 

“Yah! How can you not recognize me huh? It’s me, Hara”

 

“HARA!”

 

Kyuhyun shouts happily. Sungmin turns her head towards her husband’s direction.

 

“Kyu”

 

Sungmin calls Kyuhyun’s attention, but he didn’t hear her because he was busy talking to Hara over the phone. Sungmin suddenly feels jealous because it seems that Kyuhyun is enjoying talking to Hara and knowing that her husband is actually talking to his crush over the phone.

 

“Kyu”

 

Sungmin calls Kyuhyun again, but he didn’t respond. He’s still busy talking to Hara happily. Sungmin frowns and turns her head back on the television. Sungmin presses the volume button on the remote control, increasing the volume of the TV, making it super loud so Kyuhyun and Hara can’t understand each other and will definitely stop talking.

 

“Hara, wait a second…”

 

Kyuhyun sits on the bed and grabs the remote away from Sungmin’s grip and lowers the volume of the TV.

 

“Baby, what channel do you want to watch?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, but Sungmin didn’t answer. He places the remote on the bed and stands up as he continues to talk to Hara happily. Sungmin slowly runs her hands on the bed and found the remote control. She presses the volume, increasing it. Kyuhyun looks at her and sits on the bed once again. He was trying to get the remote away from his wife’s grip, but Sungmin doesn’t want to let it go. Kyuhyun sighs. He stands up and walks towards the TV and pressed the power button, turning it off. He unplugs the TV before focusing his attention back on Hara. Sungmin stands up and gets off of the bed. She slowly walks towards the TV. She runs her hands on it until she finally found the buttons. Sungmin presses it one by one, but the TV didn’t open.

 

“Maybe Kyu unplugs it”

 

Sungmin whispers softly. Kyuhyun turns around and saw his wife who is already kneeling on the floor while holding the plug of the TV.

 

“Hara, I’ll just see you in Seoul. Just sleep now because it’s really late there. Try to sleep even though you have a jetlag”

 

Kyuhyun told Hara before hanging up. He quickly runs towards Sungmin and holds her hand before she can insert her fingers inside the electric wall outlet.

 

“What are you doing huh? Are you planning to kill yourself?”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife, feeling a little bit irritated. Sungmin didn’t answer. Kyuhyun stands up and gently pulls her up. He carries Sungmin and puts her down on their soft bed.

 

“What is your problem? Why are you acting like that again?”

 

Kyuhyun asks, but Sungmin just ignores him. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin’s innocent eyes and she can see jealousy.

 

“Are you jealous of Hara?”

 

Sungmin didn’t answer him.

 

“I’m asking you baby. Are you jealous?”

 

Sungmin remains quiet as she controls her tears from falling. Kyuhyun sighs irritatingly.

 

“You don’t want to talk?”

 

Sungmin ignores him, making him feel more irritated towards her.

 

“I’m going to leave you if you’re not going to talk”

 

Kyuhyun warns his wife, but Sungmin remains quiet.

 

“I’m serious Cho Sungmin. Speak now. Tell me that you’re jealous”

 

Sungmin keeps on ignoring him.

 

“Fine”

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“You really don’t want to speak?”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin, waiting for her to open and speak. But she didn’t speak. She remains quiet, ignoring him.

 

“I’m going to leave now”

 

Kyuhyun turns his back away from Sungmin and start walking slowly towards the door. Just when he’s about to reach the door, Kyuhyun heard a sob. He turns around and found Sungmin hugging her knees while crying.

 

“Baby…”

 

Kyuhyun sighs and walks towards her. He sits beside her.

 

“Why are you crying?”

 

Kyuhyun asks though he already knows the answer. He just wants Sungmin to speak what she’s really feeling. He wants her to burst out her emotions. But she didn’t even open to speak. Kyuhyun holds his wife’s beautiful face between his hands and wipes her tears away.

 

“Talk…pleases I need to know what you’re feeling. Tell me what is inside your heart. I need to know. I want to know. Cho Sungmin, tell everything to me. Tell me how you really feel. Don’t hide the burden away from me. Don’t carry the pain alone. Talk to me”

 

“I hate you”

 

Kyuhyun nods and remains quiet. He just lets his wife to speak.

 

“I hate you. I’m sorry”

 

Sungmin shook her head as tears start falling from her eyes again.

 

“I’m sorry Kyu. I don’t want to feel like this. But I’m jealous. I’m super jealous of her. I don’t understand why you’re talking to her. I keep on calling you, but you choose to give her attention than me. You keep on ignoring me because you’re talking to your crush. I’m sorry. I promise that I won’t get mad at you because of her and I won’t get jealous, but I can’t do it. I’m jealous of her”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun pulls her gently into his arms and hugs her tight.

 

“I’m sorry. It’s not like what you’re thinking. I’m sorry because of me, you’re feeling like that. I’m just happy to talk to her. Please…”

 

Kyuhyun looks at his wife and wipes her tears away.

 

“Stop crying baby. I don’t want to see you like that. I love you and I will not exchange you from her. Don’t be jealous because Hara is just a past and she’s no longer my crush. I don’t have any more crush because I already have you. Stop crying please”

 

Kyuhyun wipes the tears that keep on falling from Sungmin’s innocent eyes.

 

“Baby, please stop crying. I love you. Don’t cry”

 

Kyuhyun embraces her, stopping her from crying.

 

“Shhh, stop crying. I love you, so please don’t cry”

 

They remain like that for a moement until Sungmin finally speaks.

 

“Kyu”

 

Kyuhyun looks at his wife and holds her beautiful face between his hands.

 

“Yes baby?”

 

“I’m sorry”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Shhhh”

 

Kyuhyun softly kisses Sungmin’s wonderful lips.

 

“Don’t be sorry. It’s normal to be jealous. I’m sorry for making you jealous of Hara. That thing will never happen again”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s hand and softly kisses it.

 

“You’re the only one I love”

 

Sungmin nods at him.

 

“Let’s go?”

 

“Go?”

 

Kyuhyun nods happily.

 

“We’re going to watch the moon, right?”

 

“But it’s already late”

 

“It’s just eleven thirty. We can still watch the moon and have ice cream after”

 

“But I’m already wearing my sleepwear”

 

Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin who is wearing a cute panda sleep dress.

 

“It’s ok”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He stands up and went inside the walk-in closet to get something. Kyuhyun returns inside the room after getting his wife’s thick pink coat and her calf and Swarovski flat sandals. Kyuhyun puts the pink coat on his wife.

 

“So you won’t catch cold”

 

He told her before sitting on his heels. Kyuhyun carefully puts Sungmin’s sandals on her feet before standing.

 

“Stand up now baby”

 

Sungmin obeys and carefully stands up. Kyuhyun closes her coat to cover her body and protect her from the cold weather outside.

 

“Ready to go?”

 

Sungmin nods happily like a kid. Kyuhyun gently pinches her cheek. He walks towards the bedside table and grabs the car key before walking towards his wife. Kyuhyun holds her hand tight.

 

“Let’s watch the moon”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin happily as he starts walking; guiding his wife’s every step.

Kyuhyun brings Sungmin at Tower Hill. He carefully carries Sungmin and puts her down on the deck railing.

 

“Don’t be naughty or else you’ll fall down. Our location is really high, so don’t be too naughty”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin as he hugs her from behind.

 

“I’m scared”

 

“I’m here. I’m holding you. I will not let you fall”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and kisses Sungmin’s cheek.

 

“We’re facing the moon that shines so brightly”

 

Kyuhyun informs Sungmin, making her smile.

 

“The original plan is we’re going here to watch the sunset. But I suddenly remember that it will be more beautiful if we watch the sunset while riding a hot air balloon. Since you told me awhile ago that you want us to watch the moon together, I suddenly remember the Tower Hill. It’s good to watch sunset and the moon from here. You can see clearly the beauty of the sunset and the moon when you’re here”

 

Kyuhyun explains.

 

“Min…”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

Kyuhyun rests his chin on his wife’s shoulder and slowly closes his eyes. Sungmin was shock when she feels a hot water falling on her neck.

 

“Kyu, are you crying?”

 

Sungmin asks worriedly. Kyuhyun didn’t answer. He intertwines his right hand on hers before sending it on his soft pinkish lips, kissing her hand softly. Kyuhyun rests his lips on the back of Sungmin’s right hand as he holds it tight. Sungmin didn’t protest.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin whispers sadly. She can feel her husband’s sadness.

 

“Turn around”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He lets go of her hand and carefully turns Sungmin around, so she will be facing him. Sungmin wraps her arms around Kyuhyun’s neck. Kyuhyun’s tears keep on falling from his eyes as he stares at his wife’s innocent eyes that hide a lot of pain and sadness. He starts sobbing. Kyuhyun presses his forehead on hers.

 

“If only I can take your pain away”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin.

 

“If only I have a magic then I’m going to blow a golden magic dust on you, so you can see right away. In that way, you will be able to see everything that I’m seeing right now and you will no longer suffer and sad in the darkness because you can already see the light”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s face and gently caressed her cheek without taking his forehead away from hers.

 

“I promise to do everything for you to be able to see. I will never allow it that you’re going to be blind forever. That thing will never happen. I will never forgive myself if I won’t be able to fulfill my promise to you. Someday, you can already see the sunset, sunrise, the moon and stars as we watch it together like this. Baby, please…let’s see an eye doctor when we return in Seoul. Please”

 

Sungmin holds her husband’s gorgeous face between her hands and wipes his tears away.

 

“Stop crying now. Kyu, I’m not yet ready. Please understand”

 

“I know that you’re scared, but…”

 

Sungmin places a finger on Kyuhyun’s lips to stop him from talking.

 

“I’m going to go with you when I’m ready, but not too soon please. I promise to go with you when I’m no longer scared to hear what the doctor will tell me. Kyu, I’m just asking for you to give me some more time. I don’t want to think about it. All I want is to be happy with you without thinking about my condition. I’m not yet ready to see an eye doctor. I know how much you want me to be able to see, but please…I’m not yet ready. I’m still scared. Please give me some time Kyu. Don’t pressure me like this…please”

 

Sungmin told Kyuhyun sadly. Kyuhyun nods his head and softly kisses her lips.

 

“Arasso. I understand. I will wait for that day to come. Just don’t forget that I’m here for you. I’m not going to leave you alone. I’m going to help you to take that fear away from your heart and no matter what happen, I promise that you will be able to see. Come what may. I’m going to do everything for you to be able to have eyesight. Please trust me and don’t lose hope”

 

Sungmin nods.

 

“I trust you Kyu and I’m not going to lose hope because you’re there for me”

 

Kyuhyun hugs his wife. Sungmin can feel her husband’s love that is only meant for her. She slowly rests her head on Kyuhyun’s chest, hearing his heartbeat. She closes her eyes as they stay like that for the meantime. Sungmin was thinking about what her husband just told her. She’s really scared to visit an eye doctor. The pain is still there inside her heart and she really can’t forget what she heard from the eye doctor. She can never forget what the doctor told her parents about her real condition. The pain that she keeps for a long time becomes a fear and that’s what makes her weak and she just can’t help but to cry whenever she’s going to remember it and think about it. But that night is different. Sungmin didn’t cry because Kyuhyun is there for her. Sungmin is always afraid of what tomorrow may bring to a blind girl like her.

 

“Someday, I’m going to have the courage to visit an eye doctor. I know that I can make it through because of Kyu. If he’s not yet giving up the hope then who am I to give it up so easy?”

 

Sungmin told herself. Indeed, she’s afraid of what tomorrow may bring to her…but because of Kyuhyun’s love, Sungmin somehow finds strength to go on because Kyuhyun’s love for her was the one that gives her strength and it always takes her fear away. She knows that she’s weak, but her husband is always there to make her stronger.

Kyuhyun throws the empty cup of green tea ice cream that he and his wife eat together while sitting on the bench at the Hyde Park. He throws it properly in the trash bin before returning on his seat.

 

“Kyu…”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly.

 

“Give me a piggy back ride and let’s walk around the park”

 

Sungmin happily told Kyuhyun who raises an eyebrow.

 

“Was it we or just me who is going to walk around the park?”

 

Kyuhyun asks.

 

“Of course it’s the two of us”

 

“How can that happen?”

 

Kyuhyun gently flicks his wife’s forehead.

 

“If I’m going to give you a piggy back ride then I’m the only one who will walk around the park”

 

“Fine”

 

Sungmin stands up and pouts.

 

“If you don’t want then it ok”

 

“Hey…”

 

Kyuhyun stands up and gently pinches Sungmin’s nose.

 

“I’m just kidding. Don’t be too sensitive”

 

Sungmin suddenly smiles.

 

“I win”

 

She told her husband while laughing softly.

 

“Yeah right, you always win”

 

Kyuhyun told Sungmin. He softly kisses her lips before carrying her on his back.

 

“Hold on tight, arasso?”

 

Sungmin nods happily. Kyuhyun smiles while looking at her.

 

“You’re becoming a super brat”

 

Kyuhyun told her.

 

“You need to spoil me just like what Siwon Oppa is doing to Fany Unnie. He’s always spoiling her. So don’t complain”

 

“I’m not complaining”

 

Kyuhyun chuckles.

 

“Of course I’m not complaining and I’m not going to complain ever. You’re my baby Min, my beautiful Princess and my cute bunny. I will always spoil you just like what mom and dad is doing”

 

“I’m just asking for simple things like this. You don’t need to buy me expensive things just like what Oppa is doing to Fany Unnie”

 

“Min…”

 

Kyuhyun clears his throat before continuing.

 

“We’re going to shop tomorrow after our chocolate tour in Chelsea”

 

“We’re done shopping”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head.

 

“Not for you”

 

“Kyu, I told you that you don’t need to spend a lot for me. Just give me a piggy back ride all the time. That’s much better than spending a lot of money. I don’t need those expensive things ok”

 

“But that’s what I want. I can give you a piggy back ride every day, just don’t stop me from doing what I want for you or else I’m going to get mad”

 

“But Kyu…”

 

“No more arguments. I’m your husband, so you need to follow. You will never win against me when it comes to those things, arasso?”

 

Sungmin pouts.

 

“Don’t pout”

 

“Arasso. Just start walking now”

 

“Smile first”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly.

 

“Where’s my kiss?”

 

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin kisses his cheek.

 

“Not on my cheek”

 

“I can’t see you”

 

“Then I’ll do it for you”

 

Kyuhyun gives Sungmin a sweet peck on her lips.

 

“I love you”

 

Sungmin giggles happily.

 

“I love you too Kyu”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and starts walking slowly. He was shock when he heard his wife singing.

 

Short steps and deep breath

She said, “I’m sad”, somehow without any words

I just stood there, searching for an answer.

 

Kyuhyun feels very happy as he carefully listens to his wife’s sweet voice. He never knew that Sungmin can sing so beautiful.

Sungmin kisses Kyuhyun’s cheek after singing for him.

 

“That was amazing. I never knew that you can sing so beautiful. It seems that an angel is singing”

 

Kyuhyun happily told his wife.

 

“Kyu”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

Sungmin suddenly sneezes.

 

“Aigoo! Are you feeling cold?”

 

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Sungmin shook her head.

 

“Not really”

 

“Let’s go home now”

 

“I don’t want. Let’s stay here for the meantime. Just continue walking”

 

“But Min, it’s getting colder. You might catch cold. I don’t want that to happen. I don’t want you to get sick”

 

“Ten more minutes”

 

Kyuhyun nods.

 

“Kyu…”

 

“Yes baby?”

 

Sungmin slowly yawns.

 

“Sleepy?”

 

“A little…but I’m still awake”

 

Sungmin laughs softly. She rests her head on Kyuhyun’s back as he continues to walk slowly around the park.

 

“Kyu…”

 

Sungmin whispers softly.

 

“I just want to thank you for this day. I had a lot of fun and I really enjoy our day together. You see…”

 

Sungmin stops talking as she slowly yawns again.

 

“I’m happy…very happy because you’re my husband. I know that you’re sad because of my condition”

 

Sungmin shook her head.

 

“I don’t want you to be sad. I’m happy even though I can’t see. I told you before when we’re watching the stars and the moon at the field in Seoul. I told you that I already see the light when you told me that you love me”

 

Sungmin smiles.

 

“That the truth. I’m not lying. Your love gives me light in the darkness. I’m really scared of what tomorrow may bring into my life. But because of your love, I know that I can make it through. I can make it through because you’re here with me and we’re together. Your love is enough for me to see what I need to see. You want me to see the beauty of the world. You want me to see the light, the people around me. You want me to see myself, you and our future kids. I already see everything because you love me and I’m really thankful because of you, I’m special and because you love me, I can see through the darkness. Don’t be sad anymore because your happiness will always make me happy. Don’t forget all of the things that I told you”

 

Sungmin slowly closes her eyes.

 

“Don’t cry again because if you do then I’m going to be very sad and I know that you don’t want me to be sad. Just always be happy. I’m going with you when I’m finally ready, so don’t think too much and don’t cry again. I always want you to smile. Thank you Kyu. I love you so much”

 

Sungmin told her husband. Kyuhyun smiles brightly.

 

“Arasso. I’m not going to cry again. I don’t want you to be sad. Just always remember that I’m always here for you. I won’t leave you alone in the darkness. I’m going to accompany you. I won’t give you pressure. I can always wait for you to be ready to see an eye doctor. I’m going to fulfill my promise to you. You’re going to have eyesight. I don’t care how much money I need to spend just for you to be able to see. I’m going to spend it all for you to see and I can always give up my own eyes for you to be able to see. If that’s the last option left, then I’ll do it for you. Don’t worry too much baby. Thank you for being my wife and I’m really lucky to have you in my life. I love you so much baby. You’re the most important person in my life and you’re the only girl that I’m going to love and I won’t exchange you from any other thing”

 

Kyuhyun told his wife. He suddenly stops walking when Sungmin didn’t respond.

 

“Min?”

 

Kyuhyun waits for his wife to answer, but she didn’t.

 

“Baby?”

 

Kyuhyun suddenly laughs softly when he realizes that his wife already falls asleep.

 

“You’re really unfair. I’m still talking to you. Why did you fall asleep?”

 

Kyuhyun sighs and slowly turns around. He walks towards the car. Kyuhyun opens the front door and carefully laid Sungmin on the car seat.

 

“You’re really beautiful”

 

Kyuhyun whispers while watching his wife sleeps like an angel.

 

“I can’t believe that you fall asleep while I’m still talking to you. Well…”

 

Kyuhyun gently caressed Sungmin’s cheek.

 

“I guess you’re tired. I thought I can eat you tonight”

 

Kyuhyun slaps his cheek.

 

“What the are you talking about Cho Kyuhyun? Why are you so huh?”

 

Kyuhyun sighs.

 

“It’s not my fault because you’re always seducing me”

 

Kyuhyun told his sleeping wife.

 

“Let’s just eat each other on our honeymoon. Let’s make our baby after three months. Dad and mom are already asking for it. Sorry if I didn’t tell you. I just don’t want to give you pressure and I’m sure that they are going to understand that we can’t give them grandchild now because of your minor trauma in your lower part. It will be too painful for you if we will make love. I can wait for three months and of course the baby can wait. Just get well soon”

 

Kyuhyun softly kisses his wife’s forehead.

 

“Good night baby. Sleep tight and have enough rest for our activities tomorrow. I’m sure that you’re going to enjoy it. I love you”

 

Kyuhyun smiles and puts his wife’s seatbelt on before closing the door softly, avoiding waking his sleeping wife. Kyuhyun runs towards the driver’s seat. He carefully opens the door and went inside. He wears his seatbelt and starts the engine of the car. He looks at Sungmin

 

“I love you”

 

Kyuhyun whispers happily before focusing his attention on the road as he starts driving the car
