It’s been 2 weeks. 2 weeks since Soojung’s birthday party. The day she started to opened up her barrier around Luhan. She no longer ‘hate’ Luhan in the way before, she starts seeing him as a ‘friend’. While the male, already fallen hard for the girl. He could no longer let her go. He’s crazy about her, a day without seeing her is like torture for him.

Monday. Soojung used to be excited being in the same class with Kris (and Luhan also), but her happy feelings soon gone by the news that Kris went on a holiday with his family. Her shoulders deflated as she walks to the class with Luhan. Yes, Luhan’s the one who told her about the news. But the girl couldn’t blame Kris. It’s a family trip afterall, they probably need some bonding, quality time together.

Sitting at her usual seat, Luhan sneaked up to her. Sitting beside Soojung without her knowing. When she turns around to face front, she surprised at the sight of Luhan already smiling at her, sitting just beside her.

“Why are you here?” the girl’s eyes widened, making Luhan chuckled.

“Kris is not here. I’m lonely. So, why not sit with you today?” Luhan lied. He just wanted to sit beside Soojung, taking the opportunities that Kris isn’t here.

“Okay then. But don’t disturb me. I need to review today’s lesson” Soojung warned, before focusing her attention to the book.

The male takes his chance to observed her side profile. The way she looks so serious, and at the same time she had the looks that she’ll eat you if you disturb her. Everything was fascinating to Luhan. He just couldn’t stop staring even though people will say he’s some stalker or what, or Soojung will gone mad. He didn’t mind. He could stay in this position all day. Just looking and being at her side makes him calm.

“That Soojung, is really—what has she done in order to make Luhan oppa act like that? Did she used some evil magic? Oh no this is really serious. Even though it’s against Luhan oppa’s wish but what should be done need to be done. I’ll teach that bi*ch today, just you see” suddenly, a piece of the fangirl’s mind invaded Luhan’s head. Making him immediately glanced around the classroom to see any evil eyes staring at them but there’s none. Suddenly become worried, he continued listening to the mind to find any useful information about Soojung’s attack today but to no avail, he failed. They didn’t discussed it any further and left Luhan hanging. Now he’s really, really worried. He can’t take the risks of leaving Soojung all alone today. Not after what he had heard himself. He just couldn’t.

But the bell rung, disrupted his train of thoughts. Still worried about Soojung, he tries his hard to listen to the lecture and once in a while writting down some notes. Glancing at Soojung, he saw how innocent and cute she looks when she’s studying. How could people come to attack her, when she hasn’t done anything wrong?, he thought. Feeling sad because of his fans trying to attack Soojung and the fact that Soojung hasn’t realized all of this makes it harder. He couldn’t simply tell her that ‘hey, I could read minds. You’re in danger today so can’t be alone. Stick around me, okay?’ ,that’s just absurd. She will probably slapped him in the cheeks.

While Soojung caught Luhan’s panicking expression. She couldn’t help but to feel curious about what’s been bugging him. It’s not like his usual cocky, confident self. He always acted so calm around her. Shaking her thoughts away, she went back focusing on the lecture.

Mid-day, lunch has arrived in no time. Luhan didn’t waste him time and quickly dragged Soojung to the canteen, where the EXO members were. That’s the safest place he could ever think about. And the rest of the members knew her already so it’s no biggie. The girl couldn’t help but feel awkward around the other members since they aren’t that close but nonetheless, the members welcomed her quite warmly. She feel relieved too, as soon as she saw Eunju already sitting beside Baekhyun.

Luhan made her sits between himself and Chanyeol. Reason he picked Chanyeol? Well because he’s tall and huge, he could protect Soojung. The girl felt confused at Luhan’s suddent hurry attitude. Making her felt nothing but worry. She sensed something happened, but she just didn’t had the courage to asked him. Heck, if she asked him, he would probably tell her it’s nothing.

“So, what would you like for lunch?” Luhan asked, not wanting the girl to buy her own lunch since it could be the great opportunity for his fans to attack her.

“Ah—a lunchbox would do good.” The girl simply said.

 “Promise me you won’t leave and just stay here, okay?” Luhan said, before standing up. Making Soojung promised him.

“Ha? What’s the matter Luhan? You’re really—weird” Soojung finally said it. She just couldn’t take in Luhan’s weird attitude anymore.

“Just promise me.” Luhan held up his pinky finger, making Soojung groans inwardly. Interwining her pinky to his, Luhan left with a happy smile.

“Woah—okay, hyung’s totally weird today. What happened?” Sehun surprised at his hyung’s new attitude. He never seen Luhan being so protective over a girl before.

“That’s what I wanted to ask you guys. Is it because Kris isn’t here?” Soojung fired back, totally confused.

“Well, this is new for us also. He never been like that in case Kris’ gone.” Suho countered.

“Urghh, he’s just so—oh?” Soojung stopped talking, when she saw a nerd standing awkwardly beside their table. Afraid of approaching the almighty EXO.

“What’s the matter?” Soojung asked, standing up. Walking towards the nerd.

“Um—we’re w-wondering if y-you could solve this q-question for o-our club’s—“ the girl quickly understood that it’s for their club’s sake. She quickly nods, before the nerd made the fool out of himself by his stuttered way of talking.

“Let me see—“ Soojung opened the books, and about to answered the question, when a hand smacked the books down. Making it fall instantly.

“Yah! What’s your—Luhan?” The girl frowned as soon as she saw Luhan’s the one who smack the books. On top of that, he’s the one who looked mad.

“I told you to never leave that spot!” Luhan raised his voice for the first time, at Soojung.

The girl couldn’t help but feel wronged. “I was just about 15 metres from the table. The members could see me clearly, what’s wrong with you?” the girl countered, totally freaked out by the ‘new Luhan’.

“But you broke the promise—“ by the time Luhan’s ranting started, the nerd quickly picked up his books, leaving the scene immediately. Making Soojung feel bad at Luhan’s harsh attitude towards him. He didn’t do anything wrong, he was just asking some questions.

“Luhan, really—what’s wrong with you? I think you need to calm yourself down for now. Let’s just meet again tomorrow, maybe.” Not hearing a single thing that Luhan said, Soojung couldn’t take it anymore but wanting to apologize to the nerd. She quickly take her bag and went away, leaving Luhan. The male could only groan in annoyance and sat beside Chanyeol. Ruffling his hair in frustration.

“Err—I think I’ll go chase her” Eunju stood up, leaving the scene also.

“What’s with you, hyung?” Sehun quickly asked as soon as Eunju is out of their sight. Not wanting her to find out about Luhan’s ability.

“Fans trying to attack Soojung. That’s why I need to protect her” Luhan mumbled, before burying his face into his arms.

The rest of the members gasped softly, starting to chat within themselves. While the male just wanted to take a rest after what he had done to Soojung. He felt guilty, yes. But he couldn’t stand of not being overprotective. He need to act that way, or Soojung will be in danger. Great danger. He knows what his fans could do, anything for their idol.

But it seems like it’s too late. She’s gone now. He sighed at the fact she’s not by his side right now.

Why does everytime I update this story, there will always a scene where both of them fights?-_- oh well, you guys like them nonetheless ;p
