I start humming along to love songs that I didn’t like before
All of the melodramas in the world seem like my story
I try to look good when I didn’t before by paying attention to my appearance
I’m acquiring the bitter taste of coffee

The sun's rays of warm sunlight sparkled in brilliant streaks of brightness, kissing the emerald green of the leaves and the scarred bark of stately trees, and making the golden heads of sunflowers turn themselves to welcome the light that gently hit their faces. A boy, with a baby face and doe eyes, found himself walking to school in the calm stillness of early morning, but he welcomed the silence, as he found he could actually think. Walking to school with his friends meant zero time of quiet (usually one would be complaining about not having enough breakfast, another would be obsessing over the latest gucci product, begging the strict leader for some money by doing his famous aegyo, and one would be busy cracking jokes and making his famous derp face, making the others roar with laughter). But instead of quietly pondering the complications of the calculus lesson learned the day before, or trying to understand the balancing of equations in chemistry, he found himself thinking of the lyrics he had heard on the radio that previous afternoon. What is Love, by a group named Exo K. But the doe-eyed boy is confused. Why would he be thinking about that song? He never really liked listening to love songs. Yet, this one stuck out, but he couldn't figure out why. He soon reaches the school yard, and he spots a girl with the beautiful wavy locks of dark hair, and the eyes that had a cute sparkle to them when she giggled. The boy felt the corners of his mouth lift into a small smile as he sees the girl sitting on a bench among the colorful flowers in the school's garden. He makes his way over to her, and sees she is absorbed in reading a book. "Annyeong Seohyun." He smiles. The girl looks up, startled at first, but smiles when she recognizes the boy. "Annyeong Luhan." She greets back. "May I sit?" The boy asks, and the girl nods. "I didn't know you came to school this early." She says to him. "I usually don't since I walk with the rest of the boys. I guess today I didn't feel like walking with them today." The boy says, and the girl nods in response. "What are you reading?" The boy nods in the direction of the book that the girl is holding. "A self-improvement book. I really like reading these books, since they help to improve my character and they help to build me up as a better person." The girl explains. The boy is impressed. He has seen the girl's childish side many times before, and yet her response about self-improvement books made him see a whole new side to her. "Why do you need to improve though? I think you're perfect already." The boy shyly says. "Aigoo keke no one is perfect. Everyone has room to improve and become the best person they can be." The girl giggles, but she also blushes after hearing the boy say she was perfect. The boy smiles, the girl's laugh is too cute. He looks down and sees a piece of cake and a cup of steamy liquid next to her. "Ooh that looks really good." He points to the food. The cake is covered in a layer of sweet cream, a delicate strawberry flower, with thin chocolate leaves tops it, and chocolate shavings are sprinkled on top. "Oh ya a new cafe opened up close to where I live. When I walk to school I usually stop there to get something to eat." She explains, and takes a sip of her drink. "What are you drinking?" The boy asks. "Just some coffee, but their coffee is the best I've ever tasted." The girl smiles. "Would you like to try some?" She holds out the cup to the boy. Normally, the boy hated coffee. It was too bitter, and something his taste buds couldn't handle. But how could he say no? Especially when the girl was looking at him with her sweet smile. He took the cup and cautiously took a sip. Wow it was really good, he thought. It was sweet, and there was no bitter flavor that the boy was accustomed to when trying to drink coffee. "Mmm I really liked it!" The boy said to the girl. "Really? I'm glad. You should come to the cafe with me one day." The girl smiles. The boy nods. He is elated with the girl's invitation. The two make small talk until the bell rings. The girl packs up her things, but the boy quickly takes her books and coffee cup from her. The girl tries to insist that she can hold her own things, but soon gives up as the boy is stubborn and wants to carry her books. "Want another sip? Last chance keke." The girl offers. The boy decides to have one last sip, and he savors the sweet taste by drinking it slowly. Once Seohyun is in her class, Luhan starts to walk to his own, when his eyes suddenly widen as he realizes... We shared an indirect kiss... But Luhan smiles. Maybe that's why the coffee tasted so sweet ^^

Short chapter keke. Since many of you really want a Seohan moment, I decided to write one for this chapter. I hope you guys like it!
