Foreword
PROLOGUE:
I watched her as she ran happily around the field, her long brown hair flowing in the wind.
My eyes narrowed.
I hated her.
Suddenly, she looked back at me. Her innocent eyes stared right into mine, and a smile formed on her lips, catching me by surprise. I felt my cheeks burn. My heart was pounding so violently that I felt like it was going to break out of my chest.
I really hated her. Absolutely. Definitely.
..At least I thought I did.
