The EXO boys eventually left the four of us: Baekhyun, D.O, Chunghei and I.

Each light hug they gave me before leaving made me feel worse about what I did; even if they all insisted that it’s okay. I really didn’t mean to upset them. Not one bit.

From then on, D.O and I just walked silently behind Baekhyun and Chunghei.

I kept stealing glances at him whose eyes still looked so blanked out and lost. It worried me but at the same time it proved my theory:  Yoohee-ssi still has an important spot in his heart.

We continued until we got to Chunghei’s house where we dropped her off first.

“Call me okay Ara?” Chunghei told me with concerns before leaving me with a hug as well.

I nodded and forced a smile.

After seeing her safely enter the house, Baekhyun turned to face D.O and I.

“I think I’ll let D.O walk you home alone Ara” he calmly said to me.

It shocked me to see him return to the normal Baekhyun. His actions at the coffee shop were way too out of place for me to handle.

“Don’t worry too much about tonight” he comforted but then suddenly turned serious, “I should warn you though, don’t get too close with Kang Yoohee. It’s even better if you can stop interacting with her.”

I was thrown back by his words. Do they hate her that much?

“She’s not as simple as you might think.”

My eyes widened. What does he mean?

He then glanced at D.O and patted his arm a couple of times making him come back to his senses. The exchange of looks on their faces told me something was wrong. Really wrong.

After Baekhyun left, D.O suddenly took my hand into his and interlocked his fingers with mine.

It instantly felt warm and comforting, especially all that had happened. However, I couldn’t allow myself to possibly sink into these feelings again or it’d be too hard to come back out.

“Wae?”

I jumped hearing D.O’s voice after this entire time.

“Why’d you invite her?”

I really didn’t know what to say.

“It’s because of the picture right?”

I didn’t respond again.

“What’d she tell you?”

D.O wasn’t mad. Instead, he’s asking as if he already knew what my intentions were behind inviting Yoohee-ssi.

I closed my eyes and thought twice before stopping to face him.
