Into a New World?

Hello everyone :D
So, I present to you a new fanfic! This one is going to be a little bit different. What I mean by different is that, this story takes place in the 17th century. That would be around the year..1650? So like, wooden carriages, no television, no internet and maybe even singing animals. But, the 17th century part is only for a while because I don't know how it's really like..haha. I got inspired to write this story because I've been reading fairy tales these few days and I really, really like them! Think of this as a, modern fairy tale. Okay! Let's get to the characters :)

Foreword
"I can't believe mother wants me to get married. I don't want to settle down and have children! I want to explore the world," Jessica sighed as she walked through the streets of the town.
She stopped by her favourite cake shop and found that there weren't any displays that day. She thought that was rather odd and decided to go into the shop herself.
She pushed opened the door and fell. No, she didn't fall down on her or anything. She fell, into a hole. She screamed at first, but then suddenly,
everything went black.
