The next few weeks flew by. TOP had been given a hectic schedule as soon as he got back from Japan so he wasn’t around much but Taeyang looked after Ji Seong like she was his little sister. Whenever she was off school and he was off work he’d take her for picnics, bike rides, they’d eat together, play board games...just little things that made Ji Seong smile. Little things that Jiyong forgot and Seunghyun didn’t have time for. It wasn’t like Taeyang had much more time but he made time for her and she really liked that. She felt...special. She was glad she’d moved in to the BigBang dorm.

It was about a month since G-Dragon had left for America and it was particularly cold for late October. Ji Seong was cuddled up on the sofa with Youngbae under a thick blanket watching a mushy film that happened to be on telly. The end credits came up and Youngbae sang along softly as Ji Seong closed her eyes, listening to his voice. It was cool living with singers – she got live performances all the time! She chuckled softly as she drifted off to sleep, too warm and comfortable to keep her eyes open any longer.

Jiyong shivered in his hoodie and gilet as he neared the dorm, already nostalgic for the comparatively warm US weather. He was jetlagged and miserable and just wanted to climb into bed and sleep for a week. He rummaged impatiently through his bag to find his keys and unlocked the door to see Youngbae watching TV on the sofa. He hadn’t heard him come in. Jiyong kicked his shoes off and walked over to join his friend on the sofa, eyeing up the thick blanket enviously. But then he froze. Was that Ji Seong cuddling with Youngbae?! He stared disbelievingly at her content expression, and at his arm wrapped protectively around her shoulder as she breathed into his chest. He tried to say something but no words came out.

“Bae-oppa~” She murmured in her sleep and he smiled as he traced shapes on her back.

“I’m here Ji” He whispered back to the sleeping girl as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

That was it. He stepped in front of the two of them, shaking with anger and Youngbae noticed him at last, jumping slightly at his sudden appearance.

“Oh hey Jiyong, how was the States?” He asked and Jiyong used every inch of self control not to punch him right then. He didn’t know why he bothered.

“What the do you think you’re doing?” He said quietly, unable to keep his voice from shaking in his rage. Youngbae looked surprised at his language and then seemed to notice Ji Seong for the first time.

“What are you talking about?” He replied calmly.

“What the do you THINK I’m talking about?” Jiyong hissed and Youngbae held up a hand.

“Ok ok calm down, nothing’s going on!” He said still irritatingly calm and Jiyong snapped.

“Of course there’s something going on!” Jiyong hissed. “You’ve liked her from day 1!” He laughed bitterly. “You were just waiting for me to leave so you could make your move.” Youngbae took it in and nodded slowly.

“Alright, so what if I like her?  I’ve looked after her the whole time you were gone – she was miserable after you left!” Jiyong smirked.

“Course she was, she’s crazy about me, ALL GIRLS ARE. You better keep dreaming Youngbae cos you haven’t got a chance!” His voice rose slightly at the end and Ji Seong’s eyes flickered over. Jiyong smiled his signature smile at her.

“Hey baby, I missed you!” He cooed and held out his hands for a hug as Ji Seong sat up on the sofa. She blinked a few times, taking in the two guys’ expectant faces and was about to go over to Jiyong when she remembered everything.

“You didn’t call.” She said flatly, not noticing Youngbae’s triumphant smile from her left as she stared accusingly at Jiyong. He nodded.

“I know, I feel awful, I was just so busy I didn’t get a chance! But I thought of you every day!” He smiled again and Ji Seong tried to ignore her heart and stick with her head.

“You had a chance to tweet.” She said and Jiyong nodded again.

“That’s work. Fan service. That’s part of my job. The other guys watch while I do it – I couldn’t call you.” He walked closer to her and kissed her gently. Ji Seong gave in. Gave in to the kiss and in to Jiyong. She knew she didn’t stand a chance anyway. She was crazy about him. As he pulled away lots of things happened at once. Youngbae stood up, knocking a mug over that smashed on the floor as he stormed off to his bedroom and Seunghyun, who had appeared out of nowhere, dropped his bags as he stared silently at the two of them. Ji Seong stood up and opened but her brother just shook his head and walked back out of the door. She glared at Jiyong as though it was somehow his fault as a tear fell down her face. What had she done?
