Chapter 31: What destiny wanted for us

(Yoona’s POV)

I finally arrived to Seoul. This is home. I wonder what Siwon is doing now… I just sighed. I should stop thinking about him.

 After we arrived, I decided to go straight home because I wasn’t feeling very well. I don’t live with my parents anymore. After I finished collage I moved to my own apartment but I visit them often.

As I was walking to my house, a taxi stopped in front of me. I frowned because I didn’t know what was it doing there.

“Miss, are you Im Yoona?” the taxi driver asked me. I was surprised because I didn’t call a taxi.

“Mmm Yes, why?” I asked confused

“Hum a guy named Kim Heechul ordered a taxi for you” he said and I smiled. That Heenim, always thinking of me. I couldn’t say no to a faster way to my house so I went in. After some minutes, I noticed that he wasn’t following my directions.

“Sir, this is not the way to my house” I said as he turned another corner

“The guy that hired me didn’t tell me to take you to your house?” he said and I started to get scared.

“Are you sure the guy said his name was Heechul?!” I asked

“Yes” he said

“Take me to my house!” I yelled at him

“I’m sorry miss but I cannot do that, Mr. Kim already paid for my service” he apologized

“FINE!” I said mad “Then I’ll get down”

I tried to open the door but it wouldn’t open. Damn it! What was Heechul planning when he did this to me?! I sighed and decided to wait and see which place he was leading me to.

After some more minutes, we finally arrived. The driver walked out and opened the door for me. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Why was Heechul taking me here?

“Here?” I asked him and he nodded

“Good luck” he said and left. I stood in front of the gate dumbfounded. Why had he taken me to a fancy restaurant?

As I entered, the staff greeted me.

“Miss Im Yoona?” a waitress asked me

“Yes…” I said confused

“Follow me” she said and led me to another room. She opened the door and it was dark inside. I tried to ask something but she had already left and closed the door behind me. This was starting to get really creepy.

“Heechul if you are there, this is not funny!” I yelled

“I didn’t want it to be funny anyway” a voice said and it gave me chills. My heart started beating faster as I knew that voice wasn’t from Heechul.

Suddenly he lighted up the candles and I could finally see his face. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

“Si-won w-hat are you do-ing here?” I asked with a shaky voice. I couldn’t believe he was here in front of my eyes smiling at me as if nothing had happened.

“After you left me that day, it took me about 5 minutes to realize that I couldn’t lose you again” he said and came closer to me. He pulled me into a hug and I gasped surprised. I first I tried to fight but finally I gave in. He hugged me tightly as I let the tears roll down my eyes.

“PABO!” I yelled at him and hit him “YOU SCARED ME!”

“Sorry” he said and wiped my tears “I wanted to surprise you. I hope Heechul doesn’t mind that I used his name”

“How did you arrive here before me?! “ I asked really surprised

“I left before you” he said smirking

“And couldn’t you al least text me?!” I asked mad at him

“Then it wouldn’t have been a surprise” he said smiling. “Shall we start this dinner?”

I didn’t know what to say but he didn’t wait for my answer. He clapped his hands and in blink of an eye, the waiters brought the food. I started eating and the atmosphere became awkward because we were both silent. I didn’t look up because Siwon was staring me all the time and I felt really nervous.

“Siwon… I feel really uncomfortable with you staring at me while I’m eating” I said and he chuckled

“Sorry” he said “You are too pretty”

I couldn’t help but blush. What does this guy have that can make my heart flutter with just a simple compliment?!

“Why did you leave Paris?” I asked as I still couldn’t understand him.

“For you” he said smiling “I realized that I can work in any part of the world but there is just one place where I want to be, with you”

I smiled when he said that. I cannot believe I am falling for his romantic words.

“What happened to Hara?” I asked him

“She… gave up” Siwon said and I was surprised “She finally realized that she could not make me love her so she decided to move on.”

“That’s good” I said trying to hide the fact that I felt really relieved

“What happened to Kibum?” he asked with some anger in his voice

“He apologized and left” I said and I see him smiling. After that short conversation, we both became quiet again.

“Yoong” he suddenly said and I looked up. When our eyes met, I blushed again. “Do you want to dance?”

“Dance?” I asked surprised “There’s no music”

He smirked and clapped his hands again. Suddenly some romantic music started playing and he extended his hand to me. I hesitated for a while but then I took his hand. His smiled widened as he pulled me closer to him.

He put his left hand on my waist and with his right hand he held mine’s. I felt my heart beating faster as I was getting closer to him. We started dancing slowly and I unconsciously rested my head on his chest.

“I love you” he whispered on my ear and I shivered “Let’s start again, please give me a second chance”

I knew he hurt me so much but I couldn’t say no to him. I loved him too much.

“What are you going to do if I say no?” I said teasing him

“Kiss you” he said. WHAT? I didn’t expect him to say that. He leaned closer to me and I blushed hardly. I could see him smirking before pressing his lips against mine’s. I felt my heart beating even faster as the kiss deepened and became more passionate.

When air was needed, we broke apart. He smiled and caressed my cheek.

“What do you say now?” he asked teasing and I hit his arm playfully

“I love you too” I said and he jumped happily. I giggled and I wrapped my arms around his neck to kiss him again.

“We forgot the desert” he suddenly said and I chuckled. He clapped his hands for the third time, and the waiters brought the desert. He brought two pieces of cake and gave one to him and the other one to me. It was really delicious and as I was finishing eating it, I suddenly felt something hard with my spoon.

“What is this? I asked surprised and I kept digging on my cake. When I finally got to the bottom, I saw something that left me speechless. Siwon stood up and took it. He had a smile on his face as he wiped it.

“Im Yoona” he said as he knelt down “Will you marry me?”

Tears of joy started rolling down my eyes and I was so happy that I couldn’t say a word.  I just nodded and he slid the ring on my finger. He kissed my hand and stood up. I jumped to his arms and hugged him tightly.

“I love you so much” I could finally say

“I love you too”he said and kissed me again

End of Yoona’s POV

(The wedding day)

Yoona walked inside the church with her father on her side. She looked like a goddess in her white dress and Siwon couldn’t help but smile as he saw her coming.  All their friends were there happy for them. They didn’t imagine things would turn that way.

Yoona had waited for the moment she would marry the man she loved and that moment finally came. This was her real wedding. The one she almost had with Yoochun didn’t mean anything. After Yoona finally arrived to his side he smiled.

“I love you” he whispered. The priest started the ceremony and after they finally exchanged the vows and said “I do”, they kissed.

After the wedding ceremony, they all went to the party. Yoona and Siwon were dancing and smiling at each other.

“Yeobo” she said and he laughed “You didn’t tell me how you got your family to forgive you for making them believe you were death”

“Oh that” he said and laughed

Flashback

Siwon knocked on the door of the Choi’s residence waiting for reply. He was so nervous that he couldn’t stop moving. Suddenly he heard footsteps and someone opened the door. The person standing there was his aunt Bom and she went pale when she saw him.

“Hello aunt Bom” Siwon said smiling and Bom suddenly fainted. Luckily, Top was behind her to catch her.

“OMG Siwon you should have told me you were coming!” His uncle Top yelled at him as he carried his wife to the couch.

“I’m sorry, it was something I didn’t plan” he said. Siwon sat on the couch next to his uncle and stared at his house. I hadn’t changed since he left.

“Uncle Top, who is it at this hour?” Siwon heard the voice of his little brother coming from upstairs and his heart started beating faster. Minho walked down the stairs and he froze when he saw his older brother smiling at him.

“H-hyung?” he asked really surprised

“Minho, it is really me” Siwon said. As he was abou to approach to his little brother, he heard footsteps from upstairs. He looked up and saw his sisters and he smiled brightly. He had missed them so much.

“OMG” Sooyoung said as she couldn’t believe her eyes. They both ran downstairs and went to him. He explained everything and everyone was really mad at him. Sooyoung was so mad that she wanted to kick him out of the house.

“YOU SCARED US TO DEATH IDIOT!” Sooyoung yelled at him and had tears on her eyes

“Again, I’m sorry” Siwon explained

“I missed you so much oppa!” Sulli said and hugged him. She was the first one that was showing affection to him since he arrived.

“I missed you too Sul” he said

“I cannot believe you are forgiving him so easily” Minho said still mad

“Well I’m just happy that he is alive” Sulli said and Siwon smiled. Minho smiled too and went to hug his hyung. Sooyoung finally gave up but instead of hugging him, she hit him.

When his aunt Bom got up, she scolded both TOP and Siwon for lying to them but they finally forgave him. Even though he had made a mistake, they were still his family.

End of flashback.

When Siwon finished telling the story, Yoona was already laughing hardly. Siwon looked at her amused. He hadn’t seen her laugh in such a long time and he really missed that.

“Why are you laughing?” he asked

“It’s just funny how they scolded you” she said

“YAH!” he complained and she kissed him

“Much better” he said smiling

"Congratulations on you wedding" someone said. They turned around surprised.

"Yesung?" they both said at the same time

"I just came to apologize for lying to you" he said

"Don't worry" he said

"We always knew you were you" Yoona said and he smiled

Meanwhile, Minho was dancing with Krystal and Taemin and Sulli were chatting happily. Taecyeon was dancing with Taeyeon and Yuri with Jaejoong.

Sooyoung was attacking the food table on her own. Since Onew cheated on her, she had no date for the wedding but she didn’t care. She would wait for the right guy to arrive.

“Miss you are finishing all the food” a young man said surprised

“I’m just hungry” she said without looking at him

“But you are eating all the food for the guests!” he complained

“Why are you even complaining?” she asked him. She looked up and saw a really handsome guy.

“I cooked it!” he said proudly

“You?” she asked surprised

“Yes, me” he said “I’m Kim Ryeowook”

“Choi Sooyoung” he said and shook his hand.  She continued eating and he just chuckled.

On another side of the place, Donghae and Jessica were dancing too. She rested her head on his chest and he caressed her hair.

“I’m glad this crazy story had a happy ending” Jessica said

“Me too” Donghae said.

“So… how is our story going to end?” Jessica suddenly asked and he smiled.

“I don’t know” he said but he actually had something prepared for her, he was just waiting for the right moment to do it.

“Unnie, come here Yoona unnie is going to throw the bouquet!” Krystal came running to her and dragged Jessica to the middle. Donghae just followed them smiling.

Jessica wasn’t really interested in catching the bouquet. Of course she wanted to get married but Donghae still hadn’t proposed to her.

Heechul stood up and stood next to Yuri, who glared at him.

“What are you doing here Heenim, only single ladies!” she said

“You are just afraid that I might catch the bouquet instead of you!” he said sticking his toungue out “Besides they owe it to me, without me they wouldn’t be together again!”

“Guys, I love you but shut up!” Taeyeon said to them and they stayed quiet. Yoona counted to three and threw the bouquet.

Heechul and Yuri tried to catch it at the same time but it was worthless because it landed straight to Jessica’s hands, who wasn’t making much effort.

“What?” she asked surprised

“Sica unnie better get ready because you are next!” Yoona said and hugged her

The guys started teasing Donghae and he was really blushed.

“How do you expect me to get married if he still hadn’t proposed to me” she said a little bit sulky and he smiled.

“This was what I was waiting for” he said smiling and took out something from his pocket. It was a little black box and Jessica gasped surprised when she saw it.

“Will you marry me?” he asked as he knelt down

“What took you so long Fishy?!” she said and he smiled. He knew it was her way to say yes. He hugged her and kissed her and everyone cheered for them.

Yoona and Siwon went to the Caribbean for their honeymoon. They were in their hotel room and Yoona was staring at the beautiful ocean from the balcony. Siwon saw her distracted and suddenly back hugged her. She jumped startled but then smiled as he rested his chin on her shoulder.

“Everything we went through… it was worth it” Yoona said

“Yes” he said “It’s funny how it all started with my stupid revenge and ended like this”

“Who would have imagined that” she said and laughed “A revenge, an arranged marriage,a fake death and more…”

“This is what destiny wanted for us” he said “At the end it wanted us together”

“I think you are right” she said smiling

Siwon suddenly started kissing her neck and she felt shivers down her spine.

“Siwon, what are you doing?” she asked

“I received a call from Sooyoung and she wants us to give her a nephew or niece as soon as possible” he said and Yoona laughed.

“What a lame excuse” she said and he laughed. He spun her around and kissed her lips.
