"Alright class! This concludes are class for the rest of this year. Make sure to study, stay warm, and stay safe. Enjoy your christmas and new years break and when you come back, give it your all! Okay?"

And that's how our christmas break started.

First Day: December 22

"Dai-chan?" I said, creaking open his bed-room door. I was expecting to find him sleeping in his bed. But he wasn't. He wasn't even there.

I then checked all the rooms in the house... No trace of him. 

I picked up my phone and scrolled through the contacts to find his number. Through the first ring, he picked up but waited 5 seconds then he started speaking.

"Hi Ayuki!" He said through the phone.

"What's with the 'Hi Ayuki' ? Where are you?" I asked.

"ohh about that.." then there was this long pause. "I'm with Nao right now."

"this early?" I was starting to get pissed. He NEVER leaves the house at 7 in the morning.

"Yeah. She said she wanted to hang out so we are." 

I sighed. "When are you getting back?"

"Why?"

"Just wondering."

"Let's see..." Daiki said. After that, I heard talking in the background, figuring it was Nao and him trying to find a time. 

"What time do you want me to be back?" He finally said.

I thought for a second. If I gave him a time to be back then it would sound as if I don't want them to be on their little 'date'. But If I don't give him a time then who knows how ling he would stay out. 

"It doesn't matter. I mean it's your date with Nao. Just be back before it gets dark. Like you know it's dangerous at night.."

"Souka. Then before dark it is. Jya nee Ayuki-chan!" He said, before the phone line went off.
