Jaejoong kept silent, pondering his own thoughts. He didn’t want to reply with anything that would hurt her feelings, but he also wanted to tell her how he really felt. I still love you, that is what he feels. He can’t help the longing feelings that he still has for Minhyo, no matter how much effort he puts into trying to ignore it.

Minhyo just watched as Jaejoong kicked the dirt under his feet. She took the silence as a bad sign.

“Sorry that I even asked” Minhyo felt shy and embarrassed now. Maybe she should have thought more before she said anything but she couldn’t hold in the question anymore. She felt it was time to tell Jaejoong how she really feels, what was the point in hiding it?

“I still love you” Jaejoong was shocked to hear those words come out of , all he could do was stare at her in both shock in relief. So she had felt the same way as he dad, though he couldn’t help but wonder for how long. How long ago could they have gotten back together? How long had she still had these feelings for him?

“You still love me after all those things I did to you?” he had kissed her cousin on the lips and he had broken up with her the day after they had actually gotten together. To sum it all up, he seemed like a major .

“Yeah I know, I couldn’t believe it either” Minhyo looked down at her feet and then back up at Jaejoong, “But I can’t help that I’ve fallen too hard for you Jaejoong”

Minhyo felt her palms starting to sweat and throbbing started in her head and she could only hope that Jaejoong couldn’t help the pounding of her heart.

“Jaejoong, you can run me over with a bus and I would still love you” her tears started to form at the corner of her eyes.

“Yah, that’s my line” Jaejoong wiped the stray tears that escaped. Gently he brushed a thumb across her cheek. All she could do was look up at him confused. “Don’t look at me like that. Isn’t it obvious? I still love you too”

“Are you lying?” Jaejoong smiled a bit and bent a little so that his face was level with hers,

“Let’s just say, after I run you over with that bus, I’d jump out with the bus still running and make sure I’d get hit too so I can join you in heaven”

Minhyo could only blink twice before Jaejoong caught her in a tight hug and crashed his lips on hers.

Strawberry, like I remember. Jaejoong smiled in the middle of this kiss and hid it by deepening it, not caring that his air supply would run out soon. Though Minhyo cared, but she didn’t have to worry because they both pulled away, surprised by the sound of cheering in the background.

It was Jem and the boys coming out from their hiding spots behind the trees. Jaejoong and Minhyo looked at their friends weirdly, what was even more weird was the fact that Junsu had his arm around Jem’s waist.

“You two are back together?” Jaejoong pointed at them and Junsu chuckled.

“We never broke up” Jem smiled innocently and wrapped her own around her boyfriend. Jaejoong and Minhyo just stared at them confused.

“It was Jem’s plan to get you guys back together” Yunho explained.

“And it worked! Who knew hyung was so cheesy? ‘I’ll get hit so I can join you in heaven’, psshh” Changmin quoted and pretended to gag. Minhyo blushed while Jaejoong walked up and lightly shoved the maknae.

“Yah, I should be the one pushing you. You kissed MY little sister!” Yoochun burst and tugged Minhyo into his arms, wrapping his protective arms around her. “She’s lost her innocence!”

“Oppa…” Minhyo tried to pull away but Yoochun’s hold just tightened.

“You said you approved of us!” Jaejoong reached out to try and grab Minhyo, but Yoochun stepped back.

“But don’t do it in front of me!”

“I didn’t even know you were there!”

“Okay, okay let’s stop the bickering” Jem unlocked the arms around Minhyo without even trying.

“Ow…why are you so strong?” Yoochun asked as he rubbed his sore arm. But Jem just glared at him and pushed Minhyo towards Jaejoong.

“Now, we’ll leave you two alone”

“What?!” Yoochun yelled but quieted down after Jem shot another glare at him.

“YES, we will. We’re gonna go grab something to eat” Jem walked back to Junsu who just wrapped an arm around her again.

“You guys keep it PG-13” Junsu winked before he and Jem walked towards his car.

“NO WAY, not even 13! Keep it PG!” Yoochun nagged, “I swear Kim Jaejoong, Minhyo and I have sibling telepathy, whatever you do, I WILL KNOW”

Yunho and Changmin couldn’t take his yelling anymore and walked towards the protective brother,

“Let’s go hyung~” They both hooked an arm with Yoochun’s and being the tallest members, were able to lift Yoochun two inches from the ground.  Yoochun started to kick and scream again,

“I’m warning you Kim Jaejoong! I don’t care if you’re my hyung, I'M WARNING YOU!” Yoochun’s voice trailed on until it was inaudible.

Finally, Jaejoong and Minhyo were able to relax, both sighing deeply, exhaling loudly.

“Your brother is crazy” Jaejoong smiled and shook his head.

“I know, but he really loves me” 

“But I know who loves you more” Jaejoong met her at eye-level and kissed her on the lips, gently this time.

Even though Jaejoong was distracted by the warm kiss, he couldn’t help but hear Yoochun’s angry voice in his head, I’m warning you Kim Jaejoong! But even so, Jaejoong decided to ignore it because there was someone much more important that he wanted to focus on, the girl that made is heart race, the girl that brought a smile to his face every time he laid eyes on her, the girl that made him the cheesiest boyfriend in the world, Park Minhyo.
