The next day, Taemin build up all his courage & waited for her at the café as planned before.

“Is she here?” Taemin asked.

“Not yet” Minho said.

Mika arrived 2 minutes later, wearing her brown vest over her white lacy blouse with her dark blue skirt just above the knee with dark brown boots to match.

“Um hey” Taemin said nervously.

“So what did you wanted to ask me?” Mika asked as soon as she sat down.

“Here,” Taemin handed the hot chocolate he ordered for her.

“Thanks” Mika smiled.



‘Why did I really call you to come over & sit?’



“Um… I-I actually…” Taemin stammered.

Minho observed outside the open window & saw how Taemin was falling hard.

“Are you ok?” Mika asked.

“Yea, I’m fine… I-I’m…” Taemin stammered at his lost for words as his heartbeat began to race.

Mika looked at him as he began to act nervously.



‘Just like that, I freeze & start talking gibberish’



"Taemin?” Mika said in a soft voice as she touched Taemin’s hand on top of the table.

“Are you ok? Do you need some water or something?”

“I-I-I…” Minho looked from outside as Taemin eventually left the café without an explanation.

“Taemin!” Minho cried out from outside as soon as he saw him running out.

“Minho?” Mika exclaimed as soon as she saw him outside the window next to her. “What are you doing here?”

“Oh nothing. I was just um… walking & saw that you guys were hanging out. I thought I’d drop by until I um… saw Taemin ran out” Minho lied.

Mika raised an eyebrow at all the confusion.

“So? How’d it go?” Key asked as soon as Taemin got home.

“I choked” Taemin sigh as he sat on the couch.

“What? What happened?” Onew asked.

“I just sat there like an idiot & froze!” Taemin explained.

“Don’t worry. You can always tell her next time” Onew said.

“I’m not sure… I just… I don’t know” Taemin sigh & went off, leaving the guys alone in the living room.

“Minho, is Taemin alright?” Mika said back at the café.

Minho sighs as he sat down on the table.

“I’m kinda worried about him. He’s been acting really strange lately” Mika said.

“He’s been having some problems” Minho said.

“W-What? Is he ok?” Mika asked. “Tell me”

“I can’t” Minho said.

“Is it what he was going to tell me?” Mika asked him.

“Yes” Minho replied.

“& you can’t tell me?” Mika guessed.

“Yes” he replied with short sentences.

Mika let out a sigh. “Is it something bad?”

“No” Minho said, letting out a little smirk.

“Well, then what is it? Give me a hint” Mika asked.

“It’s something that’s got to do with you” Minho told her.

“Me?” Mika asked.

“Yes. He wants to tell you something. But he’s scared” He explained little by little.

“Scared? Why would he be scared?” Mika wondered.

Minho stayed quite as he wanted Mika to figure out herself.

“Never mind, I’ll go find him” Mika said as she rushed back.
