As Suzy parked in front of the house, her heart seemed to race in her chest. She walked towards the door and unlocked it. She deposited the keys on the bowl before walking into the house.

'' Hi.'' She spoke when she approached the sofa and found Rosé sitting with a cup of tea in one hand and a book in the other. Her hair was tied in a bun  and a few locks of her hair were hanging over her pretty face. Rosé turned at the sound of Suzy's voice and her eyebrows drew together in the most obvious display of longing.

'' Hi '' She spoke back, placing the cup of the table and standing up '' We need to talk.'' Rosé hated that phrase but there was no other way to approach the subject.

'' Yes.'' Suzy replied.

Rosé grabbed her hand and guided her towards the sofa. She wrapped her arms around her waist as she hugged her tightly '' I'm sorry.''

'' Chaeyoung, i can't focus with you so close to me.'' Suzy said jokingly.

Rosé pulled away as she reached to hold her hand, planting a kiss against her palm '' I'm sorry, Suzy! I'm sorry for everything i said and did. You were right. I was insensitive and unfair to you. I know i hurt your feelings and realizing it broke my heart, i hope you can forgive me.''

Suzy closed her eyes as she processed the words, Rosé's thumb caressing her hand calmed her feelings a little inside. She finally felt that she would crumble in Rosé's arms, so she let her tears stream freely down her face and her sobs echoed through the room without any attempt to control them.

'' Please forgive me.'' Rosé said again '' I didn't know how to react with everything that has been going on with my mother. I didn't notice the way i was treating you. But when you took the engagement ring off, when you didn't come home for a week, when you avoided me at work, all i could do was cry and blame myself for pushing you away from me when all i wanted, all i needed is to have you near me.

Suzy looked up into her face, locking her eyes with Rosé's and noticing how watery they were.

'' I'm sorry too.'' She whispered.

'' You don't have to worry, i'm the one who screwed up.''

Suzy closed the distance between them, pressing her lips to hers, feeling the salty taste of their tears as their mouths moved '' I love you, i love you so much, Chaeyoung.''

'' I couldn't doubt that for a second.'' Rosé spoke back as she kissed her one more time '' Can you come with me ? ''

'' It's almost midnight, where do you want to go ? '' Suzy asked her.

'' Come on, it's a short trip.'' Rosé grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the door.

They got out of the car. Rosé extended her hand towards Suzy who slid her hand into hers, feeling her warm palm against hers, and intertwined their fingers before walking towards Suzy's office. With each step they took towards the office that had witnessed so many important moments, their first hug, their first kiss, their first deep conversation, their first heartbreak, their reuni
