I almost dropped the paper bags that I was holding when I realized that it was Heechul who is waiting outside my apartment door. He immediately looked panicked as soon as he saw me but there was a great attempt to look calm in front of me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked as I headed to press the passcode of apartment door.

“I—Er—a—" He tried to force words out of his mouth but was unsuccessful on his first try.

“Let’s talk inside. I don’t want the neighbors seeing us argue outside.” I said as I urged him to follow me inside.

I went straight to the kitchen to put the frozen goods inside the freezer. I felt that Heechul hesitated a lot whether he should follow me inside or just remain standing at the entrance hallway.

“Come inside. I’m here at the kitchen.” I called to Heechul, to which I finally heard dragging his feet inside.

I stopped by the fridge to get some juice and water for him to drink. I was taught some manners around visitors after all.

“Here. Drink something before you start cursing at me again.” I said as I placed the drinks on the kitchen counter in front of him and pointed him to sit on the kitchen bar stool.

He looked so guilty at my words because it was true so he just remained silent and followed my lead. I sat on the other seat beside him holding my own glass of juice.
