It's another hectic day for work but I didn 't have enough sleep. I wanted to take a break from all the commotions that happened last night but I couldn't. I know how capable my secretary is, but I don't want
to impose on her even though I could've asked for it. When was the last time I even had a proper rest? It's probably before I started being the acting CEO for the company.

How did I become the CEO?

Well, It was not like I bypassed Mr. Kim's role and I
also never asked for it. He just told me one day that he needed some rest and while he does he wanted me to work for him. No one from the board of directors disagreed about me being the head and that 's how I became the CEO.

It 's been a year and Mr. Kim have not even mention even once that he wants to take his role back. Come to think of it, just what the hell is he planning?

I didn't think much about it before since I was quite sure about marrying Mr. Kim's daughter and eventually this role will be passed to me in the future but last night happened.

Suddenly, blood rushed to my brain and I felt pain
remembering the unfortunate event from last night.

"How's my hopeless romantic, bestfriend?" Siwon came as if he is on cue to ridicule me.

"Shut up. Leave me alone." I calmed myself.

"I came to talk about business but I guess you needed me as a friend more." I saw the sincerity in his eyes and I could not reject his offer.
