Unpredictable Gremlin.
Whimsical Chaos
“Where did it go?!?”
Chanyeol’s voice resonated throughout the floor, cutting through the walls and reaching Sehun and Kyungsoo’s ears. The two had stayed out in the corridor to chat a bit and not yet even managed to step into their own flats before being disrupted by Chanyeol’s yelling.
“What is it this time?” Kyungsoo exhaled, rubbing a tired hand over his face. “We just got home from work. Can’t we have a peaceful evening once in a while?”
Sehun nodded in agreement, leaning against Kyungsoo’s shoulder while taking in the horrified expression on Chanyeol’s face. The tall male’s eyes were wide open and his mouth hang loose. Looking around the flat, Sehun’s eyebrows slanted, noticing a subtle change in the decoration of the cozy living room.
“Why is my idiotic brother shouting?” Jiwoo groaned, stepping out of her room. “I was taking a nap.”
“The kotatsu’s gone,” Sehun noted, giving Chanyeol an amused look.
“Oh,” Jiwoo mumbled before throwing herself on the sofa and giving Chanyeol a lazy glance. “I moved it over to Kyungsoo’s since you kept complaining about it occupying too much space. You were right; with the electric keyboard and the drum set, it was getting awfully cramped in here.”
“But how did you even manage to carry that huge thing over?” Chanyeol gasped in disbelief. “You are tiny!”
Jiwoo’s lips quirked into an enigmatic smile, her eyes twinkling under the bright lights of the living room.
“Magic.”
“You evil gremlin,” Chanyeol hissed, dropping onto the ground while clutching his chest as if his heart had been ripped out. “How could you do this to me?”
“So dramatic.” Kyungsoo rolled his eyes. “It’s not like she gave it away or something.”
“Easy for you to say since it’s laying in your living room.”
“Exactly, it’s just across the hall,” Sehun mused. “You can visit it any time.”
“Of course you would be happy that it’s out of this house.” Chanyeol glared at the younger male. “She actually removed the supposed love of her life from this flat.”
Chanyeol inhaled sharply and then there was a sudden shift in his eyes; from exasperation to pure betrayal. Before Sehun and Kyungsoo could even react, Chanyeol who was still on the ground, scurried towards the sofa like a mad dog and pounced onto Jiwoo, trapping her in a headlock and cursing her for not consulting him before refurbishing the flat.
Soon squeals of help and shouts of anger filled the room. Kyungsoo and Sehun exchanged a knowing look before silently slipping out of the chaotic flat.
“Aren’t you glad that the gremlin willingly got rid of your love competition?” Kyungso sniggered.
“Laugh while you can Do Kyungsoo,” Sehun replied in a flat tone. “You’ll soon have both Park siblings planted in your living room for the foreseeable future.”
Kyungsoo froze by the entrance of his flat upon the realisation, sending a deadly glare at the kotasu sitting proudly in his living room. Sehun stared at him with a smug expression, stepping into his own flat after having had the last laugh.

A week had passed since Jiwoo had transferred the kotatsu over to Kyungsoo’s. The girl was currently in her personal studio inside Kyungsoo’s flat, mixing some sounds on her laptop and entertaining herself by rearranging a couple of Christmas tunes.
Feeling her stomach grumble from hunger, Jiwoo saved the file she was working on and opened the door, though she hesitated to step out of the room upon seeing Kyungsoo standing by the sofa, glaring at Chanyeol who was buried under the blankets of the kotatsu. Jiwoo could see fumes rising from Kyungsoo’s ears and his face was so red that it looked like it was about to explode.
“That’s it,” Kyungsoo seethed through his teeth. “I’ve had enough of you breathing the oxygen of my living room, gobbling up my food and invading my personal space and time.”
“We always eat each other’s food and we have an open door policy.” Chanyeol batted his eyelashes innocently at his angry best
