How Much Loneliness the Truth Can Cause

Description

How much longer will this waltz last? How much longer until life will release its suffocating grasps around my throat and allow me to dive into death’s embrace?

With those thought swimming in his mind, Yuta floated his way through life, existing but not living.

Having lost interest in the world, being discouraged and disappointed, Yuta had long abandoned his physical body, simply yearning for the day that the dance would end.

Foreword

「To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.」

- Oscar Wilde

Hello people, this time this will be a short story (3 chapters: Prologue, Main Story, Epilogue) and I will be diving deep into a heavier topic but hopefully will offer some comfort and release for the readers who stumble upon this story of mine.

This story will be broaching topics about mental health and suicide, though nothing graphic will be depicted.

I will be drafting on this story while I finish posting the remaining chapters of 「Crossing the Parallel Paths」so do check that out!

Anyhow, let's buckle up and get ready for the journey that awaits~

Chapter 3: I can see how it took a long time for you to write this story eventhough it’s short. It’s not easy to dive into the head of a mental health patient. Although the truth brought loneliness to Yuta, but meeting Boyoung in one way saved him from committing again. Unlike Boyoung that can’t go back to staying alive, Yuta still had a chance to keep on living. That was why I think Boyoung stopped him.

Thank you for this writing..!

Chapter 2: I initially thought Boyoung was just a figment of Yuta's imagination. For Yuta's every question, she had a question of her own, that could have suggested that his brain hadn't completely created Boyoung's character yet, leading to the unsatisfactory answers, but once her name was revealed and of course the conversation, it was obvious I was wrong. I like this concept though, I sort of wanna see more of her and Yuta, I think it would give her a sense of peace to know that she helped out someone like her and it would of course needless to say help him heal as well. End note: I'm pretty intrigued by this story.
