“There you are Hendery, we’ve been looking for you everywhere.”

Hendery turned towards the voice and saw Kun and Doyoung waving at him. He nodded his head in acknowledgment before returning his gaze towards the photographs hanging on the wall.

“You’ve been loitering in the music department a lot recently,” Kun commented. “Thought you wanted to focus on dance in the final year.”

“From the way I see it, he’s focusing on a certain girl instead,” Doyoung mused while pointing at the photo that Hendery had been staring at when they arrived.

“Caught in the act,” Hendery admitted, not bothering to hide his actions.

“Park Jiwoo?” Kun exclaimed in recognition. “Why the sudden interest in her?”

“You know her?” Hendery turned to look at the male with curiosity.

“Not personally.” Kun shook his head. “But we participated in the same piano competition back when I was still in China. I was in the under 16 group while she was in the over 16 group. We crossed paths a few times after that but by the time I came to Seoul she had already graduated.”

“So she’s a sunbae,” Doyoung commented, mentally counting the between them. “She’s won quite a few awards huh? And is that Mr Park? Never realised how many photos of him the school had as well.”

“It’s quite sad isn’t it? All these years later and the school is still desperately clinging on the past success of its alumni. Surely they should clear up space for the current students.”

The three final year students snapped their heads around to find Jiwoo standing there, rhythmically tapping her fingers against the tupperware box she was holding.

“Wait— you’re—” Douyoung gaped as his fingers shifted back and forth between Jiwoo and the photo of her on the wall.

“The one and onlyl” Jiwoo declared.

Giving them a small smile, she opened the tupperware box she was holding and held it out towards them.

“You made madeleines this time?” Hendery mused, reaching into the box and biting into the soft and fluffy baked good. “Damn these are good, even better than the blueberry muffins.”

“Experimented with a new recipe,” Jiwoo stated proudly. “Here, you guys have some as well.”

Kun and Doyoung exchanged a look, but seeing how much Hendery was enjoying madeleines they uttered words of thanks and each took one.
