Things were finally back to "Normal", whatever normal was before Vincent went on a power-hungry rampage. Kyesang over by the nurse's station scribbling on some charts, Hyesung and Junjin doing rounds in the pediatrics department, Eric looking over some MRI scans for a newly admitted patient and Andy was in the OR leading a surgery. And Minwoo was taking a nap in the lounge. Dongwan watched everything happen over his monitor in his office, he had missed the action, the adrenaline rush, he had missed working on patients with his best friends. Dongwan had deligated the position of chief of the emergency department to Kyesang and Cheif of ICU to Eric, knowing very well the capabilities of both Doctors he didn't have to worry about any mishaps happening. Dongwan prepared his paperwork and prepped for a meeting he has with equipment vendors later this afternoon. 
A paramedic push two patients into the ER, "Car to bike accident, the car driver had suddenly suffered from a cardiac arrest and lost control of the wheel, he was announced dead at the scene. These two were the cyclists that got caught in the aftermath, bed 1 blunt trauma to the left hip and chest, fractured forearm and right ankle. Bed 2 also trauma to the chest and hip area, but his third rib fractured and has punctured his right lung cavity. "I need, a central line started for the both of them administer 5ml of morphine in warm saline, set up the portable ultrasound and page both Dr. Lees!" Kyesang gave his orders. He went over to the patient in bed two, "right hemopneumothorax and hemoperitoneum, I need a chest tube, prepare for intubation!" Kyesang made a small incision on the right side of the chest and pushed through a small tube, "I need a 14 gauge needle for lower chest cavity decompression", he was handed the syringe and extracted the trapped air between the lung and the diaphragm, he watched as the oxygen saturation levels went back to normal. Andy came running into the OR and right to bed one, he assessed the patient, "There's bleeding in the thoracic cavity, also swelling of the jugular vein, I suspect cardiac tamponade along with a spleen injury. Get me a CT and prepare an OR, inform Dr. Lee of Ortho that once CS is done with the patient we are going to need him to reset the forearm", Andy told a nurse. 
Suddenly a mother was carrying her child, running into the ER, "Help, please help, our Hyuk has had a fever for 2 days, he keeps crying and he won't eat", she cried, Kyesang looked over from his position, "Nurse! Bed 4, page Dr. Park!" Minwoo ran over to Kyesang and went over the x-ray to see the severity of the case, "It's a clean fracture so it will not be hard to mend back to together, we can do a combined surgery, once OS sets the bone back into place GS can finish up the rest." Minwoo said. 
Junjin sprinted into the ER and went over the small childs charts, "Go Baehyuk, 2 years old, temperture 38.9", he read out loud, he then sat down on the rolling stool and began examining the child, "Nice to meet you Hyukie, my name is Dr. Park and I am hear to make you feel better, I am going to press on your tummy and your going to tell me if you feel any discomfort even just for a little bit okay?" he asked the boy, the boy closed his eyes and nodded, Junjin genlty pressed his hand down and just like he suspected the little boy winced and cried in pain, Junjin proceeded to listen to his chest sounds, "I suspect your little boy here has something we call Cholecystitis which is when the gallbladder get inflamed I'm going to give him some painkillers and antibiotics with an IV fluid, if we do not see improvemnt within 24 hours then we will have to perform emergency surgery to remove the inflammed tissue in the gallbaldder", he expalined to the parent, she cried and nodded in understandment, "It's going to be okay, you are going to eat lots and lots of lime and stawberry jello, and if bumb into my good friend Dr. Lee he might even have a spare lollipop for you!", Junjin booped the boy on the nose before heading to the nurse's station. 
A few hours have passed and Andy had finished his procedure, he knows scrubbed out and looked forward to going home and taking a nice hot bath to soothe his achy muscles. Minwoo had just finished his portion of the procedure and left the rest for Kyesang and his team to handle, Minwoo too had plans tonight, Dongwan was supposed to cook steak dinner for him, Minwoo had even picked up the perfect bottle of wine. 
Eric and Hyesung had left the ER together, Eric drove his car, "Hyesungie, how about we just do fast food tonight and go home and sleep, I'm really not in the mood to sit out and eat or cook", he whined, "Fine, fine, Burgers and fries sound heavenly right now, I'm famished.", Hyesung responded. They pulled up to the drive-through window and made their order, they took the food home and devoured it on Eric's couch, "You know, you only live upstairs, why do we always end up at my place?" Eric asked while chewing on his fries, "Because that means I don't have to clean up after your mess", Hyesung laughed as he took a french fry from the box, "Hey, you said you didn't want any fries!", Eric protested as he grabbed the bag held it away from Hyesung, "I'm helping you finish them, one fry has like 25 calories, you might end up with high cholesterol if you eat all that", he ripped the bag from Eric's hand and fished for another fry. Eric smiled at him and watched how the other man Adam's apple bopped up and down as he swallowed to drink, Eric suddenly pulled Hyesung into a kiss, and Hyesung did not hesitate to kiss back. 
Dongwan waited for Minwoo outside the hospital parking lot, he saw his y boyfriend smile at him from the doorway and ran into his car, "So Dr. Minwoo are you ready for the most mundanely romantic steak dinner of a lifetime?" he asked, "It depends on who's serving the meat?" Minwoo wiggled his eyebrows and slapped Dongwan on the thigh, he got the message. Once they got back to Dongwans place Minwoo pulled out his bottle of wine and popped it open, Minwoo watched by the kitchen counter as Dongwan was cooking and preparing dinner, he found the scenario to be so damn y, he pulled his phone out and started recording, "Wan-ah, say Hi to the camera!" Minwoo chuckled, Dongwan covered his face with a spatula, "No, I look ugly", Dongwan said, "But honey, you always look ugly" Minwoo said as he burst out laughing causing Dongwan to pull the phone out of his hand and land a kiss on Minwoos lips, "This ugly is all yours!", Dongwan winked and then went back to flip the steaks before they burned. 
Andy and Junjin were on duty today, Andy went back into the lounge to take a nap from his long procedure when Junjin came running in, "Andy! Give me a lollipop quick!" he demanded. "How old are you Jinnie, my lollipops are for the patients", And grumbled, "I know, I know, I have 2-year-old in Peds tonight and he's super adorable, come on gimme one!" Junjin explained. Andy dug into his white coat and pulled out the infamous orange lollipop, he threw it towards Junjins head, but the man's quick reflexes caught it just in time, "Thanks, Andy! You're the best!" Junjin gave him a kiss on the cheek before running out of the lounge.
