Bae Joohyun or popularly known as Irene Bae, the Creative Director of Serenity Design, one of the most sought after interior design firms in Seoul. She is born to be a designer and gifted with various kinds of amazing and creative design ideas. Irene is a creative thinker. She easily makes her parent’s company known all around the country. Since she succeeded in her first project she designed the interior of one of the famous entertainment agency buildings, Irene's name soaring upward. She received so many proposals from various kinds of companies to work with them. His parents is so proud of her

“Aigoo, finally our work done” Irene plop her tired body on swivel chair

“I’ll miss working with their team. They are very cooperative and helpful” said Kwon Eunbi, the assistant director

“You’re right. They are one of the best clients we ever have. I hope next client will not troublesome”

“Joy, who will be our next client?” Eunbi looking at Joy, the secretary

“Our next client will be Black Pearl Holdings. According to their proposal, this project is for their hypermarket in Jeju”

“They are opening a new branch?”

“Yes unnie”

“Wow, this must be a mega project. This is our first time working with them” Eunbi is excited

“True, we must get ready for this. If the person we will deal with is Kang Yoona, it’ll not much trouble. She is easy to deal with. I heard from some colleague that she’s easygoing” said Irene

Joy tapping her chin “But unnie, according to a trusted resource, Yoona-ssi currently travels overseas until next month. I think this project will be monitor by other staff”

“I think so. Whoever it is, let’s work hard”

“Okay unnie”

“I want to order food. Anyone want to join me?” Eunbi asking Irene and Joy

“Count me in” said Joy

“Me too. I’m so hungry today” add Irene

Kang Seulgi walks alone in the hallway after leaving the exam hall. She just finished her last paper before officially graduating from university. She is a final year student for a Master Degree in Business Economics and Management. After this she is only waiting for her result and to grab her master degree. Seulgi is very proud of herself because even though she is naughty, she finally reaches the finishing line. Her lecturer doesn't put high expectations on her due to her discipline record. If not for her father, Seulgi would already be kicked out of the university. Seulgi is not only popular because of her visuals but also her troublemaker attitude. She comes to campus to sleep, barely listening to their lecturer because at night she stays awake to play games or clubbing. According to her, she studies based on her life motto. Seulgi's pace halted when someone called her name “What’s up, Sehun?”

“Seul, Kai asked me to inform you that this weekend Minho hyung threw a party at his club. You must come” Sehun say excitedly

Seulgi's face immediately brightened “Of course, I’ll never skip the party. Besides, we don’t have exams anymore so it’s party time!”

“Yeah, that’s cool! I’ll inform you when the party will start”

“Okay bro. I got to go now”

“Alright”

Seulgi skipped to her big bike with a happy face. Male and female students are busy admiring and flirting with her but she ignores them. When she arrived at parking lot, she coolly wearing her helmet and ride her big bike

Next day at Black Pearl Holdings

Today Seulgi will officially work with his family company. Kang family is the owner of the biggest supermarket and hypermarket chain in Asia. The company was founded by her late grandfather and now succeeded by her father, Kang Yuri. Seulgi will be the managing director of Black Pearl Holdings.

Even though she is the daughter of the Chairman, her path to reach that position is not easy. Seulgi was trained from below, same as her older sister, Kang Yoona, who is the CEO and Vice Chairman of Black Pearl Holdings. As soon as her age was 21 years old, Seulgi began working at Black Pearl Hypermarket in Cheongdam. After her father or her sister are satisfied with her performance, she will change to another department or division. Her father is a bit strict to her because he knows Seulgi is more stubborn than Yoona. If he is not strict then Seulgi will not be serious in her work. He is grooming her so that she qualifies for a high position in his company. Yuri don’t mind Seulgi go to club as long as she not forget her commitment as a daughter and student

“Good morning, appa” Seulgi give quick hug to her father

“Good morning, my teddy bear” Yuri fixing Seulgi’s collar

“Appa, don’t call me teddy bear. We’re in office now” Seulgi whining while her father giggle

“No matter where we’re, you are always my baby bear. Have you eaten your breakfast already?”

“Yes”

“Good, you shouldn’t skip your breakfast so that you not sleepy during office hour”

“Noted appa”

“Now let’s go to your office and meet your assistant. I prepare two great people for you”

“Appa, you’re not choosing middle-age staff to assist me, right?” Seulgi worry

Yuri laughed, “Don’t worry. They are in your age. I can guarantee you’ll make a good friend with them”

“You’re the best, appa” Seulgi dramatically hugging her father before both of them go to her office

“Good morning, Chairman Kang” two young lady greet Yuri and her daughter in front of Seulgi’s office

“Good morning, Ms. Moon and Ms. Son. This is my daughter, Kang Seulgi, who’ll be managing director starting from today. Seul, this is Moon Byulyi and Wendy Son. Both of them will be your right-hand people”

“Nice to meet you two” Seulgi smile to the staff

“Nice to meet you too, ma’am”

“Alright, let’s enter your office” said Yuri then Moonbyul open the door for them

“This is your office. I hope you enjoy working here accompanied by beautiful view”

“Of course, I’ll definitely enjoy my life here. This office is so big. It’ll be comfortable sleeping here”

“True but you only can sleep when you’re free”

“I can play games too, right?”

“Yes, why not? You’re a gamer so feel free to play. We can install gaming PC if needed” Moonbyul and Wendy jaw dropping when they head their chairman statement

“I’ll install it next time, appa” Seulgi smiling

“Okay, I got to go now. Your assistant will do the rest” Yuri turned to Moonbyul and Wendy “Both of you were already briefed by my secretary yesterday, right?”

“Yes sir, we’ll take it from here”

“Good, you guys can have fun after your work is done”

“Seriously sir?” the assistant duo gasped

“Yup, if Seulgi brings you two to have fun so you may go. She is your boss”

“I can’t believe this” Wendy say quietly

“Well, have fun, kids. Bye” Yuri pats Seulgi’s shoulder as she excuse herself to leave

“Bye appa” Seulgi smiles at her father “So both of you…you two don’t have to worry about pressure working with me. We must enjoy our work, no stress. If I say we go to watch movies, we’ll go to the cinema. If I say we go to an amusement park then we go to play at the park. I’ll make sure our work will finish on-time without pressure. Maybe sometimes we’ll work overtime but not often, okay?”

“Yes ma’am”

“Wait…don’t call me ma’am. It’s too old. When just the three of us are like now, just call me Seulgi. When other staff is around, you two can call me with whatever formal endearment. Only call me Director Kang during meeting”

“Calling your name may sound rude. What if we call you, boss?”

“Not bad, suit yourself. I want us to feel comfortable with each other. We’re working as a team even though I’m a director while you two are my assistants. We’re together for a long run, not a day or two”

Wendy speak “Look, we’ll adjust how we call you when we’re together alone or with other staff but during formal meeting, we’ll call you Director Kang”

“Good idea” Seulgi snapped her fingers “I hope both of you can be my friend too because my dad said you two are in my age”

“You and I are same age but Moonbyul unnie is two years older” said Wendy

“Oh I see, I’ll call you unnie too” said Seulgi to Moonbyul

“Okay boss”

“Now, what is our first task?”

Wendy checking her Ipad “Our first schedule is a tour around the building and that is our only schedule for today. The real deal will begin tomorrow”

Seulgi nods her head “Okay” she taps her chin “I want to eat Japanese food for lunch. You two go with me”

“Okay”

“Let’s go”

Moonbyul and Wendy give a tour to Seulgi around the building. Even though Seulgi is familiar with this building, she never goes to any department. She only went straight to where she was told. Wendy and Moonbyul introduce the managing director to their staff. Everyone was practically amazed by her cool visuals. She just start working less than two hours but Seulgi already have her fans

When they are at marketing department, Seulgi noticed one of the staff trying to flirt with Wendy

“Excuse me, I know my assistant is pretty but don’t flirt with her. Only me can flirt, not you. You’re here to work. We not hire you to flirt” Seulgi glare at the man whose face already turn red in embarrassment

“S-sorry director”

“I let it slip this time but once again you flirt with her, I’ll let you flirt as much as you want out there, got it?”

“Yes, director”

“Go back to work before I change my mind” the staff bow before going back to his cubicle “Make sure no one flirt with you next time. Only I can flirt with you, understand?” Seulgi say to Wendy

“Y-yes boss” Wendy stutter

Seulgi and her assistants leaving marketing department after that

“This is the last department, right?”

“Yes boss”

“Alright, since you two already gave me a briefing about my job and introduced me to our staff, now it's my turn to brief both of you. We go to VIP basement parking”

“What are we doing here, boss?” asked Wendy

“I would like to tell both of you which car we will ride on a specific occasion. Come”

Wendy and Moonbyul follow Seulgi to the cars that parked at VIP basement parking

“First of all…these two Audi will be our official transport. Same as appa and unnie, I also have my own official transport for formal occasions but we’re using different brands. Mine will be Audi. These two black and white Audi with registration number KSG 1 and KSG 2. Remember this Byul unnie since you’ll be our driver”

“I got it, boss” Moonbyul nods her head while staring at two luxury cars in front of her

“No one can ride this car without my permission except both of you, appa and Yoona unnie. No matter what happen if I not in this car with you two, don’t ever let anyone in”

“What if we’re in desperate situation, Seul?” asked Wendy

“I only tolerate emergency cases. If the situation is that our business partner or client needs a ride, don’t let them in. They can find their own ride. They are not going to pay for our gas so why would we let them in. We’re not their driver who giving free ride” Moonbyul and Wendy chuckle because of Seulgi’s reasoning

“We understand, boss”

“Good. Now let’s go to parking lot at the front”

The assistants follow Seulgi to the VIP parking lot at the main entrance. She walk toward a luxury SUV that parked beside her father’s car

“This is my big boy. This is one of my daily transport but if we traveling, we’ll ride this one”

“Okay boss”

“Boss, I heard that Secretary Kim will go to your house in the morning if your father asks her to do so. Are we doing the same thing too?” asked Moonbyul

Seulgi tapping her chin “Maybe you two will go when necessary. I think for now, I’ll not ask you two to go to my house. Secretary Kim also goes there when they have appointments early in the morning. Let's see how our schedule goes. Maybe I’ll call both of you to our house to have breakfast together”

“Seriously, boss?”

“Yeah, I told you two that we play hard and work smart”

“Okay boss, your wish is our command”

“Now get inside the car”

“Where are we going?”

“I’ll tell you later”

“Seul, why do we go to the airport?” Moonbyul confused when Seulgi drive them to airport

Seulgi grin “I said that I want to eat Japanese food, right?” the duo nods their head “We’ll go to Tokyo”

“WHAT?” Wendy and Moonbyul unconsciously shout

“W-why? We have many Japanese restaurants here. Why must we go to Tokyo? We don’t have plane ticket too”

“We’ll ride our private jet. This is only the beginning. Sometimes maybe we’ll breakfast in Seoul then dinner at Indonesia”

“You almost give me heart-attack” Moonbyul holding her chest

“Relax, unnie. Let’s go. We shouldn’t miss lunch time. If you two want to eat dinner at other country tonight, just let me know” Seulgi wiggle her eyebrows
