Irene walks to her car lazily while stretching her arm. After a long and tiring day at the office, finally she can go home and rest since tomorrow is the weekend. While searching for the car key in her handbag, suddenly she felt something pointed right behind her head. She counting in her head but a hand covering before she’s able to scream

"You scream, I will make sure this is last day you breathing" the manly voice said, threatening the poor Irene

Irene just nodded in fear and she felt sweat run down her forehead. She found out that the thing that pointed to her head was a gun. The man removed his hand from Irene mouth and commands her to turn around

"Don't dare to scream or do anything funny if you wish to live longer, understand?"

"Y-yes" Irene stuttered. That man wearing face mask and cap that make it hard to recognize him

"Good girl, now unlock your car and get inside the driver seat"

"Okay"

"Move" Irene obeyed the command since she's really afraid. She mentally cursing her boss for making her go home late

Both of them settle inside the car while the mysterious man is still pointing the gun to Irene "Drive to XXX Water Park. Follow this direction" he said while setting the GPS on his phone

"Why is it so far away?" Irene complain

"Speak again, you will be inside the trunk" Irene just sigh annoyingly as she get threatened again

After 30 minutes driving, they almost arrive at the destination but he ordered her to stop at nearby convenience store

"Stop at that store"

"Hmm" She park her car right in front of the shop "Arrived"

"Let's get out"

"No"

"Yaa!" he pointed the gun at Irene temple

"Huh!" Irene unbuckled her seatbelt and turn off the engine

"Let's go"

They walk inside the store. He asked Irene to carry the basket which the girl forcefully did. Finally, Irene gets to see the figure even though his face is still covered with a mask. He is tall, has a well-built body, a little bit tanned skin, muscular arms and has broad shoulders. She assume that his face must be handsome

After filled the basket with foods, they go to the cashier counter to make payment

"Done, let's go" he said and they exit the store

Irene drove again to their destination. There is nothing scary happen all the way to the park until they arrive

"Hey, are you hungry?" he asked

"What do you expect?" Irene reply nonchalantly

"I ask nicely, do you need to answer like that?"

The girl groaned "Of course I am starving. Now it is 8 PM for god sake and why on earth are you bringing me here?"

"Aigooo, girls always talk like this when bad mood" he mumble

"Pardon?"

"Nothing" he waved his hand "By the way, my name is Kang Seulgi and you're Irene Bae, isn't it?" Seulgi introduce himself while take off his mask and cap then he fixed his hair

"Don't ask if you know it already"

"I don't mean it" Seulgi chuckle "Hey, let eat while the food still warm" he grab the plastic bag from the backseat

After eating, they go out and sit on the car hood. Seulgi puffing his cigarette and start smoking that make Irene irritating

"Yahh, can you stop smoking?"

"I can't, it's like taking dessert when smoking after eating" Seulgi said happily “I looked cool when smoking, right?” he nudging Irene’s shoulder

"No such thing. You irritating me" Irene move far from Seulgi but he move closer to her

"Get used to it" he blows the smoke to Irene and gets smack on his head in return "Ouch, so violent!"

"Why do you kidnap me, jerk?"

"I brought you here because I want to talk to you. I wait for this time too long, you know"

"You could just ask nicely"

"I don't have time to do it. Besides, you're clingy to that guy so no chance for me to ask you out" Seulgi said

"I don't know why you don't stop bullying me"

"I'm not bullying you, honey. I just don't bring my car earlier so you have to drive me to my place. I don't want to ride a taxi either. My mom said don’t ride public transport at night. It dangerous”

"Whatever" Irene is too lazy to prolong the useless argument with Seulgi. Seulgi’s answer is getting nonsense, her blood pressure could rising if Seulgi still talking

Seulgi and his best buddies, Leo Manoban and Jung Aeri workout at the gym at night as usual. All of them exercise diligently since their work needs them to have good stamina, strength and fit. After done running on treadmill, Aeri sit on the bench and drink his water

One peaceful morning at Kyungwon Group, the staff were busy with their work as usual. Same goes for the staff on the 20th floor. They focus on their work until their Vice Chairman and his secretary arrived follow by three unfamiliar men

"Attention everyone!" Vice Chairman Son Seungwan gain his staff attention immediately

"Yes sir"

"I would like to introduce new staff members who will join our team starting today. First one is Mr. Jung Aeri..." the mischievous face guy smile and bow his head "Mr. Leo Manoban..." the tallest guy bow politely "And last one is Mr. Kang Seulgi" Seulgi smile widely and bow "Secretary Park already assign their seat, she will inform later"

Then Seungwan looking at the trio "Boys, now I introduce our senior staff in this office"

"Sure thing, sir" Leo said

"First of all, this is our General Manager, Ms. Im Yoona. Next to her desk is Ms. Kim Taeyeon. The man in the middle is Mr. Lee Donghae and Mr. Kim Jongin. If there is anything that you want to know, don’t hesitate to ask them”

"Noted, sir" the trio said happily

"We have other staff…the owner of the desk at the front is Ms. Ning Yizhou. Beside her are Mr. Kim Minjeong, Mr. Lee Taeyong and Mr. Kim Doyoung. Second row is Ms. Karina Yoo. At the corner is Ms. Kim Jennie and last one is Ms. Irene Bae"

"Beautiful" Leo whispered then Seulgi nudging his side makes him flinch

The secretary proceeded with the seat arrangement. “As for your seat arrangement, Mr. Jung will sit beside Ms. Yoo. Mr. Kang sat next to Ms. Bae and Mr. Manoban with Ms. Kim. Currently they are working on same project so I choose three of you to assist them since you're qualify and capable in that field"

"We won't disappoint you, Ms. Park and Mr. Son" Seulgi said

"Good" Roseanne gives a thumbs up "You all may go to your cubicle and get to know your partner. We look forward to hear a good result"

"Sure" Seungwan and his secretary, Roseanne go to his office at the corner of their floor while the newcomers go to their cubicle

Irene and Seulgi’s cubicle

"Hi" Seulgi talked in low voice

"Aigooo" Irene rubbed her temple

"Are you okay? Do you not feel well?" Seulgi suddenly worried

"Aishhh, this jerk" Irene grabs a thick file beside her and shoves it to Seulgi "Read the documents then I will explain to you what’s going on. Make sure you read it carefully. I don't want to have any mistake"

"Okay ma'am" Seulgi said and opened the file. As soon as he read the document title, his eyelids feel heavy and his body suddenly became very tired but he tried to stay awake.

Aeri and Karina’s cubicle

Aeri fidgets in his place because his partner just focuses on her work and does not even spare a glance at him. After looking around, he saw a small post-it on Karina’s table. He slowly moves his hand and grabs it without making any noise. After that, he take out his pen and doodle something on it

Hi, my name is Jung Aeri. I am 23 years old. You're beautiful; can I be your friend?

He draws a moon and heart on the bottom of the paper after that. He tapped on Karina's shoulder making the girl look at her questioningly. With wide smile, Aeri hand the post-it to Karina, thankfully she accept it

Karina read the note, a small smile forming on her lips as she thought it's cute. She reply the message on the back of the paper

I am Yoo Jimin, you can call me Karina. We're the same age. Yes, we can be friends!

She gives the note back to Aeri and he excitedly reads it. Big smile appeared on Aeri's face. He takes out something from his pocket and taps Karina arm again

"Yes?"

"Lollipop?" Aeri give strawberry flavor lollipop to his partner

"Oh, thank you" Karina smile warmly

"Can I call you Ji?" Aeri unwrap his lollipop

"Wait a minute" Karina go to the cabinet behind her and grab a thick file "Here"

"What is this?"

"It is a detail about a project that I currently handle with Irene unnie and Jennie unnie. You study the document first before you can help me. I won't give you hard time on your first day"

"Oh, thanks Ji" Aeri beams and he opens the file. Worse than Seulgi, he yawned really hard after his eyes laid on the paper and he almost passed out "Gosh!"

"Alright" Karina back to her work while her partner try his best to open his eyes to understand the document

Leo and Jennie table

Different from Seulgi and Aeri, Leo receives the coldest treatment from his new partner. After five minutes sitting at his desk, he decide to initiate their conversation

"Jennie-ssi" Leo said quietly. Instead of answering, Jennie put a 'Keep Quiet' sign on her table and Leo jolt on his seat "Wow, what a rebel"

"Can't you read this sign?" Jennie looking at Leo irritatingly

"Eh, I thought you won't talk to me until forever"

"Just shut up, I want to focus on my report"

"Excuse me, Ms. Rebel. Mr. Son ask me to assist you so if you don't want me to disturb you, give me something to do or else I will sleep entire day" Leo said nonchalantly

Jennie also gives a thick file to Leo "Read the document before you can start working. Make sure you understand every detail about the project"

"I will sleep for real now I guess" Leo sighs heavily and put the file on his desk

"Mr. Son asked you to assist me, not sleeping" Jennie said sarcastically

A couple of weeks later Karina, Irene and their assistants are on their way to the discussion room. They bump into Lee Donghae who just came from the elevator. He quickly approach Irene and her team

"Hey Rene" Donghae show flirty smile

"Donghae oppa, where are you from?" Irene sound happy that make Seulgi glare at her

"I'm from Mr. Park office downstairs"

"Oh I see"

"Hey, do you want to have lunch together later?" Donghae asked

"Rene? Are you that close with each other until he just calls you informally?" Donghae asked suspiciously

"Old friend? Irene never tells me about you. I know her friends but you"

"Maybe she forgot because it has been so long since we met. Last time we saw each other is when we're 13 years old" Seulgi reasoning

"We talk inside" they continue walking to discussion room

"Hyung, what a good act! You deserve an award" Aeri said proudly after they enter the discussion room

"Ugh, unnie, is there something going on between both of you?" Karina asked curiously

"Seulgi-ssi called you baby. Is there something romantic involved?" Karina teasing her unnie

"Ms. Rebel don't let me go first so I wait for her" Leo said

"Yah, I told you don't call me by that name!" Jennie retort

"It suit you" her assistant fired back

"You two will miss each other one day, trust me" Aeri remark

"No reason for me to miss him. He just gives me headache"

At the same time, Aeri give lollipop to Seulgi and Karina then they enjoy the little drama in front of them

"Yah, what are you guys doing?" Irene voice bring them back from their own world

"Watching drama of course" Seulgi said while Aeri and Karina nods their head

"The title is Romantic Rebellious Couple" Aeri added

"Aishh, I will go crazy" Irene pulled her hair

"Hyung and Ms. Rebel, you two can continue your drama. It's surprisingly romantic and interesting" Aeri motioned the two to proceed with their argument. Seulgi and Karina also look excited

"Rina, are you in the same boat with them too?" Jennie asked in disbelief when she noticed that Karina also have lollipop in her hand

Karina cackled "I just got carried away. Believe it or not, since they come our discussion is very lively"

"JI FIGHTING" the three dorks pump fist while Karina gives two thumbs up. Irene and Jennie mentally admit that their discussion is lively since the trio join them even though their antics make Irene and Jennie dizzy

It has been two weeks since their assistant joined them and almost every discussion will start with an argument or childish fight between them. Karina has good chemistry with the three while Irene and Jennie still treat them annoyingly. Karina and Aeri get close with each other and everyone knows it. Meanwhile, Seulgi enjoys making Irene annoying in every chance he has. On the other hand, Jennie still treats Leo formally while Leo just takes it coolly.

Aeri stomps his feet entering their office. He look like want to eat someone at that moment then he stop in front of Seulgi desk

"Who woke up really early this morning?"

"Do you all stay together?"

"Yes, we're apartment-mate"

"Yep, me and Leo have been friends since diapers, then when Aeri was born, he joined us too. We practically raised him"

"That's telling why you all roasting each other well"

"You're right. We did it since babies"

"By the way, where is Leo? Don't you all come together?"

"We ride in our own car. I don't know where Leo is currently. He go out early than Aeri for sure since that kid thought that he supposed to arrive early"

"Speak of the devil" Irene said while looking at the door where Leo just enter and run towards them

"Dude, we have to talk now" Leo said and ran again to his place to put his bag. He come back dragging Aeri then bring Seulgi along

They settle in Leo car then he drive them to nearby park

Yerim: We need it in case something happens. Don't worry, Joy unnie set a plan already. If chaos happens, we will get our weapon immediately

Leo: Keep us updated, Yerimie

Seulgi: Currently everything goes smoothly. We are still watching him. Nothing really suspicious but he's on the phone a lot these days
