Seulgi skipped to Irene coffee shop to visit her beloved girlfriend. Since her working time is flexible, she can go out if she is free. Currently she working at fitness center that owned by her friend, Kim Jisoo. Her workplace is not really far from Irene shop so they will go to work together sometimes when they feel like clingy.

“Hi Seul” Wendy welcome Seulgi with wide smile since she is stand behind the counter with Nayeon

“Hi unnie” Nayeon follow suit

“Hi girls” Seulgi wiggle her eyebrows

Following Seulgi, 2 customers come so she step aside to give space for them. Since Nayeon serving the customer, Wendy continue chat with Seulgi

“Where is Irene?” Seulgi asking

“She go out. I thought you know”

Seulgi forehead creased “No, she not telling me that she go out. Usually she will text me”

“Maybe she forgot”

“Hmm, who go out with her?”

“Her friend”

“Which one? Jennie?”

Wendy shake her head “No”

“Rose?”

“No, she go out with male friend”

Seulgi try to remember Irene’s male friend. Her girlfriend have lot of female friend and she know all of them. Irene also introduced her male friend to her but as far as she know, they are not working around this area

“Bogum oppa?”

“I know Mr. Park. This one is unfamiliar. I never see him come here”

“Strange” Seulgi rubbing her chin “You can continue your work. I will wait at the table”

“Okay, do you want something to drink?”

“Ice coffee will do”

“Okay, I will get it for you”

Seulgi go to the table at the corner. She try to call Irene phone but no answer from the older girl. Her texted also still unread. 1 year they are dating, Irene never like this. She always respond to her call or text even how busy she is. She also will inform her whenever she go out and with who she is. She don’t want to overthinking so she decide to ask Irene when they meet at home

After an hour of waiting and Irene not show up, Seulgi leave the coffee shop

Irene arrived at her shop 30 minutes before closing. Her staffs are busy cleaning around. Soon as she enter, Wendy approaching her

“Unnie, you not go home yet? I thought you will not return” the patissier said

“I leaved some of my stuff here so I come to get it”

“Okay” Wendy walk inside following her boss “Unnie, Seulgi come here earlier”

Hearing Seulgi name, Irene stop walking and Wendy bump into her

“Ouch” Wendy groan

“She really coming?” Irene looked shock

“Yes, why would I lie to you? She wait like 1 hour before leaving”

“Aigoooo”

“She also tried to call you but you not answering her”

Irene quickly take out her phone from her bag and gasped when she saw bunch of notification. Missed calls and texts are all from Seulgi. She palmed her forehead softly

“I silent my phone” she said faintly. Then she try to call Seulgi but her girlfriend turn off her phone “Got to go now Wendy. Lock the shop, okay?”

“Okay unnie”

Irene run to her office to get her belonging. She quickly dashed out and leaving her coffee shop

Seulgi is watching football match when Irene arrived at home. She just take a look at her girlfriend then turn again to the match. Irene sit beside her on the couch but she ignore her presence

“Baby” Irene hold Seulgi arm

“Emm?”

“Are you mad?”

“No”

“Why do you ignore me?”

“I’m watching TV, don’t you see that?” Seulgi speak nonchalantly

“Do you have dinner already?” Irene asking again

“I eat instant noodle”

Irene sighs “Baby, I’m sorry for earlier. My phone silent. I go out with my friend and we lost track of time”

“Is you friend that important that you forgot to tell me that you go out? You not usually like this”

“He is my old friend and just back from overseas”

Seulgi slowly turn her face to Irene “So that friend is a guy?”

“Y-yes but he is just friend”

“Whatever” Seulgi rolled her eyes

Irene hugging Seulgi sideway “I’m sorry okay? I will not doing it again”

“Okay” Seulgi said faintly

“Baby, please forgive me”

“I forgive you already”

“I know you still upset. Look at you, you not even looking at me when you said that”

Seulgi groan and facing her whining girlfriend “What else you want me to do? Stare at you like this?” she open her eyes wide and cornering Irene to the couch

“Baby…don’t do that. You are scary” Irene suddenly feel scare

“I’m very upset but I let it slip because this is first time you do that. If this thing happen again, you will regret it, understand?”

Irene nods her head “Y-yes”

“Now go upstairs and wash up. I have another business with you after this match end so make sure prepare when I come”

“What do you mean?” Irene puzzled

Seulgi whisper to Irene ear “I will remind you that you have girlfriend” she smirk “Now go”

Irene obey to the bear and hurriedly run to their bedroom

“Honey, let’s hangouts tonight” said Seulgi while driving Irene to her coffee shop after have lunch together

“Sure, it has been a while since we have date”

“Where do you want to go?”

“Watch movie? I saw lot of good movie this month”

“Okay, anything for you”

“But make sure you will not sleeping like usual” Irene poking Seulgi shoulder

“I will try my best” Seulgi giggle

“No trying but make sure you open your eyes and enjoy the movie”

“Okay ma’am” Seulgi kiss Irene back hand

When they enter the shop, someone stand at the counter turn around and calling Irene name

“Irene”

The name owner look up and she smiling seeing her best friend “Hey Suho”

Meanwhile, Seulgi looking at the guy coldly. She not pleased seeing Irene very cheerful meeting him.

“Rene, I’m waiting for you. Your staff said you’re going out”

“I have lunch with my girlfriend” Irene link her arm with Seulgi to pull her closer “Baby, this is my friend, Kim Suho. He is the one that go out with me that day”

Seulgi and Suho shake hand “Suho” he introduce himself politely

“KANG Seulgi” the bear emphasize her surname “I am Irene’s girlfriend”

“Okay” Suho look at Irene again “Rene, do you free tonight?”

“I…”

Before Irene speak more, Seulgi cut her off “Irene is busy tonight. We have a date so she not available. Not only tonight but every days and nights, she is not available”

“Oh, sorry” Suho reaction change

Irene feel bad seeing Seulgi behave like that to her friend “Suho, excuse me but I have to go inside” she said awkwardly

“Okay”

“Let’s go” Irene drag Seulgi with her

When they are inside her office, Irene let go of Seulgi hand

“Yah, why do you behave like that? Do you know that you disrespect my friend?” Irene pissed off

“I not disrespect him” Seulgi said coolly

“You are disrespect him. He not talking to you but you cut him off like uneducated people. You are being rude”

“I just let him know that he shouldn’t ask you out. You are someone’s girlfriend and he know it. Why would he still asking if you are free?”

“He not even telling the reason he asking if I’m free”

“It will lead to ask you out, I know it. Everyone do it too” Seulgi rolled her eyes

Irene run her fingers through her locks, she is upset right not “Go back to your work”

“Why do you want me to leave quickly? Usually you want me to stay” Seulgi sit on the chair

“I have lot of work to do”

“Or you want to go out with him since you can’t go tonight?” Seulgi smirk

Irene glare at her girlfriend “why do you so jealous?’

“Because I am your girlfriend. Do you want me to remind you? I don’t mind if we’re doing it here so everyone can hear you scream my name” Seulgi laugh evilly

“Whatever, we’re not going out tonight”

“Why?”

“I’m not in mood anymore. Just stay at home”

“I’m fine with that. We can do lot of activities at home” Seulgi wiggle her eyebrows

“ert” Irene rolled her eyes

“I ert with my girlfriend, not someone else” Seulgi laughing again

“Kang Seulgi!” Irene whining on the bed

It is Saturday morning and both of them stay at home. Irene wake up and feel her body sore entirely. Seulgi still sleeping soundly beside her

“Yah, Kang Seulgi!” she shake Seulgi body

“What?” Seulgi answer while her eyes still close

“Open your eyes”

Seulgi open her eyes lazily “Ehmm?”

“Get a bathrobe for me”

“Why do you don’t want to walk by yourself? I’m still sleepy”

“My body sore because of you. Go get it now”

Seulgi stretch her body while groaning then she jump off the bed still

“Yah, cover yourself” Irene throw a pillow to Seulgi

“You saw it a lot so it doesn’t matter. I don’t mind stay around you” Seulgi laughing while walking back to the bed with pink bathrobe. She also wearing blue bathrobe

“Stupid”

Seulgi helping Irene to wear bathrobe “Do you realize that I want to keep you in the bed whole day?”

“I do but no for now. I’m very tired”

Seulgi pouting “Can I sleep again?”

“Yes but tidy up the bed later”

“Okay darling” Seulgi kissing Irene lips before jump to the bed

“You will break the bed!” Irene yell but Seulgi covering herself with blanket and laughing

Seulgi and Jisoo checking the equipment in their gym to make sure everything functioning well. After done with that, they grab their drink from vending machine and sit at the table

“Why do you look moody these days? Something wrong?” Jisoo asking

“Hmm, nothing really wrong”

“Don’t lie to me. Usually you will talk a lot. Now look at you, gloomy like a weather outside”

Seulgi decide to open up to her friend “It’s about Irene”

“What’s wrong with her?”

“Lately she often meeting someone”

Jisoo eyes open wide “Who?”

“She said that person is Suho. He is her friend at high school”

“Suho?!” Jisoo gasped “As in Kim Junmyeon?”

“I don’t know what else his name but Irene told me he is Suho”

“I don’t think she know another Suho besides Kim Junmyeon. Knowing Irene unnie, she don’t have lot of male friend. Jennie and Rose used to talk about him back in town last month. After graduate from high school, he pursue study to Japan. Now he run his own clinic” Jisoo stated

Seulgi listen well to Jisoo blabber “Is that mean he is very close to my girlfriend?”

“Not very close but closer than you think”

“What do you mean?” Seulgi puzzled

“He is Irene ex-boyfriend, her first love”

“Seriously?” Seulgi balled her fist

“Yes Seul, why would I make up stories that will break your relationship? Before something bad happen, you better monitor Irene closely because according to Jennie they break up not because of problem but because Suho going abroad. He could still have feeling for your girlfriend or maybe both of them still longing for each other. As your friend, I don’t want you to break down”

Seulgi nods her head firmly “Thank you for information. I will talk to Irene about this”

“Okay”

Seulgi arrived at home and sit at living room to rest. Irene come from upstairs already wearing bathrobe and her hair covered with towel

“Honey, when do you arrive?” Irene asking after peck Seulgi cheek

“I just arrived. It’s weird that you arrived early than me. Not feeling well?” Seulgi curious

Irene smiling “Honey…I will go out with my friend”

“Who?”

Irene bit her lower lips “With…Suho”

“That guy again? Who else go with you?” Seulgi mood totally ruin

“Some of our friends”

“You’re not lying, don’t you?”

“I’m serious”

Seulgi sighs “Make sure you come back before 9”

“Okay, thank you!” Irene kiss Seulgi cheek than she run to bedroom to change her cloth

Seulgi watching movie at home when her phone ringing. The caller is Jisoo

“Hello” – Seulgi

“Hello Seul” – Jisoo

“What’s up?” – Seulgi

“Where are you now?” – Jisoo

“At home, watching movie” – Seulgi

“Woah, you are resting at home while your girlfriend having fun here with her ex-boyfriend” – Jisoo

“She said there are someone else going out with them” – Seulgi

“What the heck, Kang. Only both of them and they just get out of theatre. Just done watching movie. No one else with them. Jennie is travel while Rose is at home” – Jisoo

“What a piece of is that woman, huh? How dare she lie to me?” – Seulgi

“Do you talk about this with her?” – Jisoo

“Not yet, she goes out when I want to talk so I haven’t have chance” – Seulgi

“Okay, settle it properly. Avoid fighting” – Jisoo

“Alright, thanks for information” – Seulgi

“Yeah, goodnight Seul” – Jisoo

“Goodnight” – Seulgi

Seulgi throw her phone to the couch and massaging her temple. She know Irene is lying to her about it. Irene really testing her patience right now

Irene arrived 10 minutes before 9. Living room I empty so she assumed that Seulgi already sleeping. She walk direct to their room after turn off the light downstairs

When she enter, Seulgi still sitting on the bed playing game in her phone. Irene don’t know that Seulgi is watching her since the room is dim

“Honey, you’re not sleeping yet?” Irene asking

“No” Seulgi answer shortly “Have fun watching movie with your friend?”

Irene quickly looking at Seulgi “How…do you know?”

Seulgi scoff “You don’t have to know that”

“Are you stalking me?”

“What’s wrong if I’m stalking? You worry if I caught you cheating?”

“I’m not cheating!” Irene retort

“Say the one who lie to meet about meeting with lot of people but the fact is hanging out with a guy” Seulgi rolled her eyes “I don’t want to argue more about this. You are old enough to know what is wrong and right for yourself. Weather not always good and thunderstorm not last forever. Think carefully” she lie down and turn her back facing her girlfriend

“I don’t understand you”

“Use you smart brain” said Seulgi

“Whose car is that?” Seulgi frown when she saw unfamiliar car parked at the sidewalk. Their gate also open signaling someone is coming to visit their house “I don’t think daddy buy new car. This car is too cheap for him. Daddy is not a fan of this low standard car” she directly dissing the car

She quietly walk inside the house. Strangely, she don’t hear any voice from living room. If they have guest, Irene supposed to have a talk with them. She reach living room and shock seeing Suho sitting on the couch watching TV

“Hey, what are you doing here?!” Seulgi practically yell

“Hey Ms. Kang, I come to fetch Irene” Suho smile to Seulgi

“It not necessary for you to come inside. I told you already that she not available for you. Where do you put your ear? Stay away from her. She is my girlfriend”

“Irene don’t mind having me around. She even invite me here and she also enjoy my company” Suho said arrogantly “I guess you not please her enough”

“Hey!” Seulgi angrily walk to the kitchen and return with knife

Suho flinch when she saw Seulgi approaching him with knife. The girl grab his collar and put knife near his neck. He can feel the cold metal against his skin. Surprisingly Seulgi is too strong that he can’t release himself

“You think I don’t know that you try to provoke me with that dirty words of yours? I may look idiot but I am smarter than you think. Do try to say something ert or touching my girlfriend again, I will let you see I cut your then cook it for you to eat. Don’t try me, I don’t like playing the game because I will do everything to win” Seulgi speak while rubbing the knife on Suho neck in scary manner

“I-I am sorry…I will…not doing it…again” Suho shivering in fear

“Good and make sure you mean it” Seulgi let go of Suho shirt harshly. She smirk seeing Suho breathing heavily “Before you become the 100th person that I skin on face, you better off now. If you want me to add you to my collection then you can stay”

“I…I will go” Suho run for his life

Seulgi laughing heartily watching Suho run like a mad man. She having fun scaring him

“What a coward” she shake her head while still laughing “If only he know this knife is blunt”

Irene come from upstairs shocked seeing Seulgi stand in the middle of living room holding knife

“Seulgi, what are you doing with that knife?”

“I just throw out a chicken” Seulgi said innocently

“Where is Suho?”

“I throw him out just now”

“What that knife?” Irene widen her eyes

“Yes, I scratched his face and body”

“Kang Seulgi!” Irene yell while looking at Seulgi sharply

“What? You upset because I throw away your ex-boyfriend?” Seulgi looking at her girlfriend intensely

“How…?” Irene speechless

“I am right, isn’t it? He is your first love and your ex-boyfriend. How could you going out with your ex when you already have girlfriend? You said he only your old friend. You not mentioned your past relationship with him”

“We are just friend now” Irene stated firmly

“Friend will not going out often. I also have friend but I not meet them for date. You not doing such things with the girls. Why suddenly with him you are go out like you are dating? I know that you are lying”

“Do you accuse me cheating?” Irene asking coldly

“You are obviously cheating!”

“Hey!”

“Don’t yell at me. I will slap your mouth!” Seulgi scream “If you love me, stop going out with him but if you still want him you better let me know”

“What are you saying Kang Seulgi? I never cheat on you” Irene convincing Seulgi

“He still have feeling for you and he is dangerous. He might doing something that you will not imagine. I don’t want you to regret it”

“Don’t try to make him look bad to stop me seeing him. Don’t be childish Seulgi”

“I don’t mind being childish because I don’t want to regret anything in future” Seulgi massage her nose bridge “If you really desperate to see him then okay, you may go. Meet him anytime you want but if something wrong happen, don’t blame me because I remind you to be careful”

Seulgi leaving Irene alone at living room after that

Since that day, both of them declare cold war to each other. They doing everything separately but still sleep together in the same room. Irene still cook for them but they will eat separately.

Seulgi go to mansion to visit her father since it has been few weeks she meeting him. Maid told her that her father is in his study so she walk upstairs

After knock the door and got permission, she enter the big room

“Dad”

“Hey my baby, have a sit” Mr. Kang join his daughter on the couch “Where is Irene?”

“Hmm, she not coming”

“It’s weird that you come without her”

Seulgi scratch her head “We have issue now dad”

“Mind to tell me?”

Seulgi tell her father about her issue with Irene. As a loving and caring father, Mr. Kang listen attentively to his daughter confession. He wait until Seulgi finish talking for him to speak again

“Dad, is it cheating? Irene always said she is not cheating” Seulgi confused

“My personal opinion is she practically cheating. He is her friend but going out often day or night just both of them…it is too much for a friend. It consider as a date”

“I said that to her but she keep denying”

“Who want to admit their fault, right?” Mr. Kang chuckle

“What should I do now? Shall we rush our wedding?”

Mr. Kang shake his head “No” he stated firmly “Why would rushing to marriage if things will not turn out well after that. Now both of you have big issue that involving loyalty. Rush to marriage will not guarantee she not cheating. Even a married couple can divorce because one of the spouse cheating, not to mention when they have the issue from the start like both of you. Daddy will not allow you to settle down if you two are not in perfect stage of relationship”

“Sorry dad” Seulgi feel guilty

“Don’t be sorry. Daddy only want you to be happy after you married. Make sure your spouse really love you then daddy will let go of your hand. If the one you will marry behave like currently, no way will daddy give permission. Daddy don’t want you to have fail marriage. It is hard. It enough that daddy and mommy go through it, not our daughters”

“Okay dad, I understand. I will be careful before make decision” said Seulgi

“Alright” Mr. Kang smile “Be strong okay. My baby is a girl with strong heart”

“Okay daddy”

“Daddy not really good giving advice about girl’s problem so if you still need someone to talk with you can go to mommy. She can help you better”

“But I’m busy working now dad”

“Ayyy, work can take leave. You need comfort now. Your face is not bright as usual. This is really not my Kang Seulgi, my baby bear. If your mom see you like this, she will freak out”

“That’s why I shouldn’t see her” they laughing lightly

“You have to and you should tell her your problem. She will scold me if she found out that you have problem but not telling her”

“You still whipped for mommy” Seulgi teasing her father

“Not whip but scare of that monster” Mr. Kang laughing again

“Alright, I will tell Jisoo first then I will call you again”

“Okay”

Seulgi tapping her dad hand “Daddy, why do you not marry again?”

“What with that question? We are talking about you, not me” Mr. Kang avoiding the question

“Mine is done. Now your turn”

Mr. Kang glare at his daughter “Daddy is too old to marry again”

“Age is just a number. It not a matter though”

“Aigooo this kid”

“What about Aunty Hyoyeon? You still meet her, don’t you?” Seulgi teasing her dad

“Yeah, we do”

“Then when you want to confess to her? She also like you”

“Daddy still not confident. Daddy is scare you know. It look weird if you have new sibling in this age”
