Irene drinks a cup of latte while staring at her wife who is busy massaging her temple. Seulgi suffered a worse hangover after drinking at the club last night. This is not the first time Seulgi has come back drunk so Irene is used to it already. Seulgi make their house like a hotel. She only comes home to sleep and shower. Every weekend, she will go out spending time with her flings. Seulgi have flings everywhere. She did not date them but just used them to play around. Seulgi has been a famous player since back then. She only stopped for a couple of years after marrying Irene but her behavior came again several years ago. Seulgi seriously can’t get rid of her player soul. At first, Irene is upset because of Seulgi's behavior. She tries many ways to stop Seulgi from going out but never succeeds. Now she acts like nothing happened. She let Seulgi do whatever she wanted. Seulgi is old enough to know what she should do as a married woman who has two kids at home

“What time did you come back last night?” Irene asking

“I don’t know” Seulgi shrugs

“I saw your car's front bumper dent. Do you crash your car somewhere?”

“Maybe, I’ll check the dashcam later. You’re not working today?” Seulgi looking at her wife

“I’ll go to studio after this”

Their conversation stops since they have no topic to talk about. That’s how they interact with each other. Casual conversation as a couple and parents was long gone. They never have properly talked properly for the past two years. Seulgi also doesn't know about her daughter's growth and Irene also does not tell her about whatever happened to their kids. Seulgi will not take it seriously after all. Whenever Irene talks about Yeri and Karina, Seulgi will not say anything. Irene doesn't know if she listens or not but Seulgi only responds with nods or hum. Irene doesn't like seeing Seulgi's reaction. It’ll only make her upset so she decides to not tell her about the girls. Seulgi also did not ask about them. One afternoon, Irene with her friends, Jennie, Jisoo, Joy, Wendy and Solar have lunch at the café near their studio. They are a wedding planner team that owns a bridal studio that is famous in Seoul. A lot of famous people use their service for their wedding

“Unnie, isn’t that Seulgi unnie? Who is the woman with her? Is that her new fling?” Jisoo pointed at two figures who just entered the café. All of them look towards the direction

“Well, people changed. At first, I had a tough time dealing with her behavior because Yerim is four years old and Jimin is still a baby when Seulgi begins her player era again. Seeing that I am not able to fix her, I decide to focus on my daughters. They need my attention. Instead of focusing on changing Seulgi, I focus on making the girls happy so that they don’t feel lacking. They never asked why Seulgi was rarely at home. Maybe they know their dad is busy with something else out there. Thankfully my girls are very understanding”

“You do the right thing, unnie. Yerim and Rina need you. Just pay your attention to them. Cover all gap that Seulgi unnie leave on them” say Jisoo

“Yeah, I don't really care about Seulgi now. I only do my duty as a wife preparing her daily needs that she rarely needs. The rest are focusing on my daughters”

Jennie tapped her chin “Unnie, sorry to ask this but why do you not just separate with her? I mean…divorce” she asked carefully

“I hold on to this marriage because of my children. If I don’t have a child with her, I will have already left a long time ago. For the sake of my children, I stay even though it hurts me badly. I don’t want them to have a broken family. I not leave her for now but I not guarantee in future”

The 10 years old girl seem like thinking before continue talking to her mother “I go to ice cream shop earlier with my friends after school, I saw daddy there with a woman”

Dahyun is one of the administrative assistants in their studio so she might bring news about their client or Irene’s daughter. Irene told the teacher at Yerim and Karina’s school that if something happens to the girls when she is working, she asked them to directly call the studio so that the news will reach her quickly. Hearing that Dahyun mentioning emergency news for her, Irene thought that will have something to do with her daughters

“I received a call from Seoul Hospital just now. Kang Seulgi-ssi was brought to the hospital because of an accident on the highway. They want you to be there to inform about her condition”

Irene nods her head calmly “Do they tell you about her condition right now?”

“No”

“Alright, thanks for the info. You can go now”

Wendy and Jisoo looked at Irene who still looked calm like nothing happened. Both of them are shock to death hearing Seulgi involve in accident but the wife is so calm

“I guess so. I don’t ask her when she will come back. She will answer with lie after all”

“So, are you going to the hospital after this?”

Irene shakes her head “Nope, I’ll go after picking up Jimin at kindergarten. Wen, tell Eunbi that I’ll send Jimin to your house and you pick up Yerim from school. Don’t tell her that her dad is accident. I’ll pick them up this evening”

They proceed with their discussion. Sometimes Wendy and Jisoo look at Irene to see her expression but they don’t find the trace of sadness. They wonder if Irene doesn't care anymore about Seulgi or if she is good at covering her expression.

As for Irene herself, she is tired thinking about her cheater wife. She’s already discouraged by Seulgi’s unchanging attitude. Seulgi is in pain or not, she does not prioritize it anymore. She doesn't care if their family calls her a bad wife. Seulgi behavior is worse than her after all
