Irene leaves the courtroom followed by her lawyer who is also her best friend, Kim Yongsun or known as Solar. Today is the final trial of her divorce with her now former husband, Kang Seulgi. They have been dating since high school. Irene is Seulgi’s senior by three years. She’s the first one to confess her feelings to Seulgi. She falls in love at first sight when they accidentally bump into each other on Seulgi’s first day at high school. Sadly they can’t defend their marriage from thunderstorms. Problems keep coming every now and then make their marriage shaken.

“Rene, there is Seulgi. Are we approaching him?” Solar whisper to Irene when she saw Seulgi and his lawyer at the lobby

“Yes, I have final words for him”

Both of them walk towards Seulgi’s direction. Seulgi looking at Irene with unreadable expression while Irene give cold gaze

“I have last thing to say to you” Irene say straightforward

“Go ahead”

“Thank you for all the years we've been together. I don’t regret knowing you but I regret given my heart to you” Irene stated “Let’s go, Solar” they leave without waiting for Seulgi response

“Irene, are you sure you don’t want to tell Seulgi that you’re pregnant?” Solar asking carefully knowing Irene current mood is not in a good state

“Yes, I'm not going to tell him. No reason for him to know. He is not my husband anymore. My pregnancy has nothing to do with him. I can raise my child alone”

“Okay if you say so. I can’t force you too. What about your child's surname? Will you name the future baby after you?”

“Of course, this baby is mine. He or she will be Bae not Kang or anyone else”

“I got it” Solar nods. “Are you staying in New Zealand for good?”

“Until I can totally heal my heart. I don’t know how long it will take. I want my future child grow up in peaceful place where no one know him and me”

“I hope all the best for you”

“Thanks, Yongsun for all the support. I’m sorry I can’t help you in our law firm”

“Don’t feel bad. I still have Rose, Joy and Yerim with me. I’ll wait for your return”

Incheon airport is busy as usual. There are a lot of people who come and go to the airport whether to travel, return to their hometown or wait for their family or friends to arrive.

As for Irene and her boys, they just arrived in South Korea from New Zealand. Even though this is not the first time they come to this country, the boys are excited because this time they will stay for good. Their mom said they will transfer back to Korea after 20 years of staying overseas. It is the best birthday gift for both of them

Irene gave birth to beautiful twin boys 20 years ago. She named them Bae Jaehyun and Bae Jeno. Since her failed marriage with Seulgi, she never had any intention to get married. She decided to raise her sons alone no matter how hard it is. When the boys are 11 years old, they come to Korea for the first time. Both of them are very happy that they finally come to their hometown and meet with their big family. Jaehyun and Jeno are loved by everyone. They are very friendly, smart and cheerful. She is happy that her sons grown up surrounded by people who love them unconditionally

When Jaehyun and Jeno were 15 years old, she told them about their father. She decides to let the boys know who their father is. She also showed Seulgi’s picture to her sons. Irene does not ask what they feel after they know the truth but from their reaction, she knows they are sad and hurting. Her parents also told the twins about Irene and Seulgi's past relationship.

Since that day, Jaehyun and Jeno have been protective, possessive and clingy to her. When she asked why they behave like that, Jaehyun said both of them don’t want to see her hurt. No one can hurt their mom as long as they are alive. Jeno said they will be her bodyguard. They used to kick out a man who tried to be close with their mom. Said Jeno, they don’t want to have a father. They are comfortable having their mom in their life. Irene still looked young even though she was already in her 40s. It’s not weird if plenty of men try to woo her but her sons do not let it happen. Not in their watch. The twin also never asked about Seulgi after they find out what happened between their parents

Back at the airport, Irene walks following her boys who push their cart exit the international arrival hall. Her parents will picked them up at the airport

“Mommy, where is Uncle Byul and Aunty Solar? I don’t see them around” Jaehyun stop walking to search for the elders

“Your aunt said they were stuck in a traffic jam. We need to wait a bit” Irene answered after read the text from her mother

“Let sit there, mom” Jeno walk to the empty bench “Mom”

“When will we enroll in our new university?” Jeno asking

“Your enrollment is already managed by Aunty Solar. You two will study at my former university. We will go to the university this Monday” say Irene. Her sons enthusiastically said that they want to study in her former university when they transfer to Korea. She only does as they want as long as the boys study hard, she doesn't mind which university they want. The cost is not a problem to her

“Can’t wait to study at new university” the boys excited

“Now that your dream to study at a local university comes true, make sure to study hard. Make me proud, alright?”

“Okay mom!” said the twin

“Tomorrow we will go to salon to cut your hair” Irene stated make smile on her sons face faded

“But our hair is short already, mom,” Jaehyun protested while holding his head protectively. His twin also does the same. They love their current hairstyle

“Say who your hair is short?”

“Uncle Ji”

“Jisoo is the same as both of you. Tomorrow we will cut and color your hair to dark. Make good impression to lecturer and your new friends”

“Okay” Jaehyun and Jeno pouted their lips

10 minutes later, Solar and Moonbyul arrive. Jaehyun and Jeno hugging them happily. The couple visited them in New Zealand a few months ago and they video call often but they still missed each other so much. The twin are very close to Moonbyul since they are toddler

Today Irene accompanied her sons to university. Solar drives them to university because Irene hasn’t renewed her driving license. Jaehyun and Jeno are excited for their first day at the new university. In their former university, both of them are pretty famous because of their handsome looks. They also have many friends. The twin love by their friends and lecturer because of their kindness

They arrived at university. Irene stares at her sons with a big smile. Even though they are 20 years old, the boys are still her baby boy. She always pampers her boys but not to the point her sons become spoiled brat. She still set her limit in pampering them

“Can’t believe that my babies will study at my former university” Irene pinched Jaehyun and Jeno face

“Mommy~, don’t do that. People are staring” Jeno whining as he noticed people who passed by them looking at their interaction

“Aish, I don’t care. You two are my babies. They are envy because they don’t get this treatment from their mom” say Irene

“As long as you happy, mom”

Solar cackle when she hear the family conversation “They looking at you guys because you two are handsome. I can hear some of them murmured about your visual”

Jaehyun and Jeno looking at each other then, shrugs “Seem like we gonna have many fans here” Jaehyun joking

“It’s not unusual. You two are handsome after all” Irene fixing her sons hair

The boys have undeniable charm and perfect visuals. Their visuals are a combination of her and Seulgi. Jeno takes most of Seulgi’s features, especially his eyes, while Jaehyun takes after her. The rest are mixed of her and Seulgi’s features

“Boys, let’s go to the office. Our appointment is in five minutes” say Solar

“Okay”

Jaehyun and Jeno took a sports science course. They took the same course because of their big interest in sport. They actively join the basketball team in their school. This time they also plan to join basketball team

On the other side of Seoul, Kang Seulgi is resting at the garden with his best friend, Son Seungwan. Seungwan’s son, Son Renjun, skipped to the garden joining his dad and uncle

“Hi dad and Uncle Seul”

“Hi boy, done playing with grandpa?” Seungwan ruffled Renjun hair

“Yes dad” Renjun nods his head excitedly “Dad, I have new classmates. They are transferee from New Zealand”

“Wow, they must be a foreigner”

“No dad, they are Korean but stayed in New Zealand”

“Do you make friend with them?” asked Seulgi

“Yes uncle, they are very friendly. Next week when you come back to work, you will meet them. They joined the basketball team. They are pro player, uncles. We heard that they were trained by a former basketball player from the USA. Their skills are amazing. We felt like watching a game on TV the first time Coach Oh asked them to show their skill. Coach Oh and Coach Kim challenge them to battle two by one. The coach played against one of them. Coach Kim and Coach Oh are best coach but they can beat them with wide gap” Renjun excitedly share story with his father and uncle

“What course do they take?”

“Sport Science”

“Oh I see”

“What is their name?” Seungwan asking

“Bae Jaehyun and Bae Jeno. They are twin”

After few minutes hangouts with his father and uncle, Renjun go back to the house because his mother calling him

“Seul, you don’t have plans to marry again? You’re getting old. You need someone to look after you” Seungwan seriously looking at his brother

Seulgi sighs deeply “No Wan, I never plan to have another marriage. I still have trauma. Every time I want to start new relationship, the memory keep coming back”

“Sorry to hear that, Seul. It has been 20 years since she left without a trace. I guess you moved on already”

“Yes, I sincerely let her go but she’s still in my mind. You know how much I love her” Seulgi eyes blurry when he remember his ex-wife “I think she live her life happily now with a someone that her family choose for her”

Seungwan stares at Seulgi with pitiful eyes “If only I’m here that time, I’m not going to let you fight alone. I can’t imagine how hard it is for you. You and noona just married for a couple of months but sadly you two separate because of nonsense reasons. Her family is so cruel”

Seulgi never got married after his divorce with Irene. His family and friends resent him. They are very disappointed in him. Only Seungwan is talking to him while the others don’t want to meet with him. They are not giving him a chance to explain himself. Everyone trusts the rumor blindly. When Seungwan came back from Canada after graduating from university, this is where Seulgi let out every burden in his mind. He kept everything alone for a year. Seungwan telling the truth to the Kang family. After that, the Kang family realized their mistake. Even though they reconcile, Seulgi is still distant with his family. Basketball team had training today, preparing for the annual interfaculty game next month. Jeno and Jaehyun were accepted to the team after the coach saw their skill and also their previous achievements. Team members openly welcome them to their team hoping that the twin will help them to win the big game this year. Last year they lost against a university team from Thailand in an international tournament. With their new members, they hope they can be a champion this year. The news of the basketball team having two new members spread so fast. It makes everyone excited to see their debut performance. The twin already gain a lot of attention from the student especially female student who fangirling on them

“Bro!” Renjun beckon the twin to join them as soon as he saw them enter the court

“Hi guys” the twin greet the members

“Have a sit”

“Today Coach Kang will come back. He will join Coach Oh and Coach Kim to train us since he is lecturer in our faculty” said Jaemin

“Why do we never see him around?” Jeno asked

“Coach Kang stayed at home to recover after his injury when he played basketball last month. He is a pro basketball player like both of you. Coach Kang is a lecturer at the sport management department. He also coach of our university team together with Coach Kim Jongin, Coach Oh Sehun, Coach Park Chanyeol and Coach Manoban” Mark wiggle his eyebrows

“Ay don’t say such things, we’re not that good. All of you also have amazing skill” Jaehyun awkward when their friends complimenting their skill since first day they join the team

“But both of you are advanced. We want to learn some skill from both of you” said Taeyong and the other members agree

“We can play together when we’re free. Besides our house also not that far from each other so we can play on weekend”

“That’s a good thing” everyone agree with Jaehyun idea

The coaches arrived at the court. Head coach gave a briefing to the members regarding the upcoming tournament. He also introduced the new members to Seulgi

Seulgi stares at Jaehyun and Jeno. Somehow, he feels a weird feeling when he shakes hands with the twin. Even though this is the first time they meet, he feels so familiar with them. Their faces looked like someone familiar to him. However, he shrugs it off. He don’t want to think a lot because he need to focus on the training

Basketball match organized successfully. This year the game was won by the sports faculty team. Second place is Art faculty and third place won by the law faculty team. Jeno won the top scorer award. The prize and award will be given on closing event that held tonight

“Jeno, Jaehyun…why haven't you gone inside yet?” Coach Kim noticed the twin still stand outside

“We are waiting for our mom. She will arrive shortly” said Jaehyun

“Oh I see” the coach talk again with his fellow

Seulgi who also stands near his colleague, silently looking at Jaehyun and Jeno. The boys don’t notice him because he’s
