Bae Juhyun also known as Irene is one of the staff at SM Architect Group. She joins the company for almost 2 years and she is one of the architects at the company. She have lot of friends either male or female but she attract to one of her senior at her department who also one of the team leaders. That person is no other than Kang Seulgi, a beauty with brain (That is how Irene and her friends mention Seulgi).

At the meeting room, everyone gather after their boss make announcement early in the morning

“Good morning everyone” Jessica Jung, the General Manager greet everyone as she enter the meeting room. Behind her is her secretary, Seo Juhyun and her assistant, Tiffany Hwang

“Good morning Ms. Jung” everyone said

Jessica take place on her sit “Guys, yesterday I got the email from our boss that we successfully got a tender for multibillion dollar apartment that they bid recently. Since this is a big project for this year, I want the best team to make it work like our last project that gain a big success”

Jessica talk to her secretary for a while before she continue “I discussed with my assistant, Ms, Hwang earlier and we agree to give the special task to every team based on their capability. First team is lead by Kang Seulgi and assistant is Irene. Their members are Kwon Yuri, Kim Hyoyeon, Park Sooyoung and Kim Taeyeon”

Seulgi, Taeyeon, Yuri and Hyoyeon wink at each other and grin dorkily

“Second team leader is Choi Sooyoung and assistant, Wendy. The members are Kim Yerim, Sunny, Im Yoona and Krystal Jung”

“Third team leader is Lee Donghae and assistant, Lee Hyukjae. The members are Park Jungsoo, Choi Siwon, Cho Kyuhyun and Kim Yesung”

“Last one is Kim Heechul and assistant, Kwon BoA. The members are Shindong, Jung Yunho, Lee Jinki and Luna Park”

“Am I made myself clear?” Jessica asked

“Yes” all of them said

“Alright, as I mention earlier we choose your group based on your capability so that you can bring out the best idea in designing every parts of the building in order to build a high quality residence and cozy to live. I trust every one of you here that you have your brilliant idea so it times to show what you got especially the senior architects. Lead your team well and show me the best result”

“We will give our best” they said energetically

“Good, this is what I want to hear. After this everyone can dismiss except the team leaders because I want to give briefing regarding your task”

The other staffs leave the meeting room except the persons that Jessica mentioned earlier. With that, the second session of meeting start

It’s been 2 months since the project start and everyone work hard on it. All of them show their effort in doing their task even sometimes they need to work until late night.

Seulgi doing her work in her office without realizing it was late because she’s too focus on the document. She stops a while for stretching and checking her phone

“Aigooo, 8 o’clock already” she said and suddenly her stomach growling “Need to fill this now”

After gathered her stuff, she get out of her room. When she walk passed Irene office, she saw light still and she knocked the door “Come in” Irene answer from inside

“Hey unnie, you not go home yet?” Seulgi lean in the doorway

“No yet, I still writing my report” Irene take off her glass and rubbed her eyes

“Aigooo, you should go home now. Don’t stay too late. Take a rest”

“But my report…”

“I know the due still long so you must stop now. This is my order” Seulgi joking but she show serious expression

Irene pouted and gave in “Okay boss”

They walk together to the lobby “Did you have your dinner already?” Seulgi asking

“Not yet, I will take dinner after this”

“Let have dinner together” Seulgi offered

Irene eyes suddenly turned wide and she smile happily “Sure, count me in”

“Okay, let go to the restaurant nearby. I’m craving western food”

“Alright, I will follow your car”

Both of them go to the western restaurant that near their office and Seulgi really excited since her craving for western food. After place their order, they talk casually and it a bit awkward because it was first time they hangouts together

“Do you enjoy western cuisine?” Seulgi initiated their talk

“Yeah but most of the time I prefer Korean foods” Irene heart beating faster than usual as she stare secretly at Seulgi and admiring her. It feel like a dream when Seulgi ask her for dinner together because she have crush on Seulgi since a year ago

“Me too” Seulgi giggle

“Seulgi, how long did you work at the company?” Irene asked coolly

“Around 5 years already since I join. I join the company same year with Taeyeon unnie, Jessica unnie, Tiffany unnie and Sunny unnie”

Irene nodded “Oh I see, so all of you are best friends?”

“Yeah, we enroll in same college, they are my senior but we graduated together since I take advance class. Yoona unnie, Hyoyeon unnie and Seohyun unnie also my best friend but they joined the company a year later. Don’t get me wrong, I also friend with other staff but they are close to me the most inside and outside of the company”

“I understand” Irene having fun talking to Seulgi because the girl is quite talkative

“So, how about you?” Seulgi turn to ask the girl in front of her

“I joined the company like 2 years ago” Irene said

“I know that” Seulgi giggle

“I close with Yeri, Wendy and Joy because they are the first people approach me when I start working then we’re best friend until now”

“Good to hear that” both of them giggle

Their foods finally arrived and they start eating

“Where do you stay?” Seulgi asking again

“My house is at residential area around here, around 20 minutes from office” Irene said

“No wonder you not afraid to go home late” Seulgi comment

“Yes”

“But I don’t like my staff back too late especially female. It not safe even it near here”

“Don’t worry, I not go back late if I’m not busy” Irene assure Seulgi so that she not worry

“Good, safety first”

“Okay” Irene nodded understand “Seul, where is your home?”

“I stayed at apartment complex few blocks from here”

Irene eyes widened suddenly “Wow, you stayed at the luxury apartment complex there?”

Seulgi blushing “Yeah” she scratched her head

“Wow, amazing. It is so expensive place. It must be cozy to stay, right? Besides, it located by the river. You can enjoy the beautiful view everyday” Irene said in amazement

“Yeah and the security is tight too so it safe place to stay and it’s worth the price. They provide parks, supermarkets and café too”

“I hope I can stay there one day” Irene said dreamily

“Well, you can visit me anytime and sleepover if you want. I’m all alone there so it’s good if I have someone around” Seulgi smile warmly

“Are you serious, Seul?” Irene get excited because of the invitation that she never imagine

“Yes, I’m serious. Just tell me whenever you want to come over so I can cook for you” Seulgi smiled goofily

Irene pokes the fries on her plate “I will visit you on weekend if I’m not busy”

“Door always opens for you”

“Thanks Seul”

Seulgi laugh “Look like I need to buy lot of foods for my visitor”

“It okay Seulgi, I not big eater”

“No, when you with me you must eat more. I don’t want you to starve”

Irene pouting “Alright”

“Yahhh, don’t pout. I know you’re cute, don’t make yourself cuter” the bear teasing Irene whose face flushing like hell

“Seulgi!” Irene whine and covered her face while Seulgi enjoy teasing her

Irene arrived at office with happy face and she looked really lively that morning because she’s in a good mood

“Good morning!” she greeted Yeri, Joy and Wendy who gathered at the table that they always use to do their work when they need big space or group discussion

“Morning unnie” they said

“Unnie, you looked quite bubbly today. Is there something that we don’t know?” Yeri smirk teasingly

Irene laughed “Guess what? Who guess it right, I will treat lunch today”

“You submitted your report early than due date” Wendy guessing

“No” Irene shake her head playfully

“Emm, you got praised by Ms. Jung” Joy said

“Also no” Irene stuck her tongue out

“Yeri, try guessing” Wendy said

The younger girls tapping her chin and bite her lower lips “I don’t know if this is possible but...” Yeri grin and motioned all of them to come closer “Seulgi unnie confessed her feeling to you”

Irene blushed “No” she said shortly

“Unnie, if not why do you blushing?” Yeri giggle

“It almost correct but that is not the answer”

“Seriously?” the girls eyes widened and their smile from ear to ear

“Is she asking you out?” Wendy ask

Irene laughed and cover “We dinner together last night”

Joy and Yeri clapped their hand “Aigooo, finally. Congratulations”

“Hey, we’re not dating. No need to say such thing” Irene said shyly

“You’re one step closer” Wendy said

“Haishhh all of you, quit teasing me” Irene still blushing

“Goodluck unnie” they said happily

Suddenly Seulgi come from behind “Good morning girls” she looked smart in her black suit and really handsome for a woman. It make Irene heart melt more than it already did and beating really fast

“Morning” everyone said except Irene who spacing out

“Irene unnie?” Seulgi snapped her finger and Irene startled “Are you okay?”

“Ughh yes, I’m okay” Irene blushing again

“Your face is red; you not catch cold or fever?” Seulgi palmed Irene forehead and also her cheek

“I’m fine, Seul. Everything is okay” Irene tries to assure Seulgi that she is in good condition

Seulgi nodded her head “I hope you’re okay since we have lot of things to do so good health is really needed now. Don’t stay up too late”

“Alright”

“Joy, tell our group members to gather at discussion room 3 on 9:30 AM. We will do our task there today” Seulgi smile to Joy

“Okay unnie, I will tell them”

“Alright, I got to go now. See you guys later” Seulgi said

“Okay unnie”

Soon as Seulgi leaving, Yeri quickly jog to Irene and put her hand on Irene chest “What are you doing?” Irene glare at her

“I just want to check if your heart still work well” Yeri grin sheepishly

“Aigooo this kid” Irene pull Yeri ear playfully

“You really hit jackpot today unnie” said Joy

“She’s sweet, right?” Irene said dreamily

“I think she also like you” Wendy commented

“I hope so”

On Saturday, Irene goes to Seulgi apartment as they promised

“Hi Seul” Irene greet soon as the door open

“Hi unnie, come in” Seulgi happily welcome her guest

“What are you doing right now?” Irene ask when the sit on the couch at living room

“Nothing, just do some paperwork since I have nothing to do now. You know I quite boring stay alone here”

“You really hardworking”

Seulgi chuckled at Irene remarks “I just doing something to fill my leisure time”

“Okay”

“What you want to drink? Did you eat already?”

“I had my breakfast before I come here so juice is fine”

“Alright” Seulgi said and go to the kitchen

Seulgi return with juice and snack for them “Here is our drink” she said and put the tray on coffee table

“Seulgi, are you staying alone here? Where is your family?”

“My parents at hometown and I’m their only child”

“Oh I see”

“How about you?”

“I also the one and only” Irene said in joking tone and they giggle around

“You not go for date with your boyfriend on weekend?” Seulgi asked suddenly and Irene almost choked her drink

“Seul, I don’t have boyfriend” Irene laughed awkwardly

“I thought I’m the only one single in our department” Seulgi said

“You really single?” Irene dance happily inside

“Yeah, I’m still single and available on market. I accept girl and boy”

Irene feel like Seulgi giving her hint that she have chance “I thought you have couple already”

“Not yet, God still searching for a good person for me” Seulgi laughed at her own answer

“I hope you find that person soon” Irene said

“Yeah and I hope that person is someone I know and someone who love me dearly” Seulgi said

‘I love you more than you can imagine’ Irene thought while stare at Seulgi secretly

“Hey, are you staying for dinner?” Seulgi asked

“I don’t know”

“You have something to do at home?”

“No”

“Let spend weekend together at my home” Seulgi grin

“Sure, why not” Irene feel like she almost explode due to happiness

“First thing we do is grocery shopping because my fridge is out of stock now”

“Alright” Irene nodded vigorously

“Do you bring your clothes?”

“No because you not telling me to stay” said Irene

“It’s okay; we can drop by your house to take your stuff”

“Okay” Irene said cutely

“I change my clothes first then we go out” Seulgi said and go to bathroom

Soon as Seulgi vanished from her sight, Irene covers her face and laughed happily “Aigoo, I have really good luck” she said in low voice

After Seulgi change her clothes, they go to the mall

“Shall we have lunch first?” Seulgi ask

“Are you hungry?”

“Yup, my stomach start growling now” said Seulgi

“Okay, let find a café”

They decide to eat at Italian restaurant. After lunch, they go to supermarket for grocery shopping

“Seul, what we eat for dinner?” Irene asking while pushing their cart

“I not sure, what you want to eat?”

“Let walk around first then we decide. Usually I will buy random foods” said Irene

“You cook for us tonight?”

“If you want me to cook so why not” Irene shrug her shoulder ‘If you want me to cook for you forever also not a problem’ she thought again

“Okay, this weekend you will cook for me” Seulgi grin sheepishly

“No problem”

When they strolling around, they bump into Tiffany, Sunny and Yuri

“Hey bear” Tiffany waving excitedly as they approach Irene and Seulgi

“Hi guys, what are you all doing here?” Seulgi bump fist with Yuri

“We just walk around while waiting for our movie time” Sunny said

“Hey, are you coming with your girlfriend?” Yuri said loudly as she’s excited seeing someone behind Seulgi but they not seeing her face

Everyone looking at Seulgi partner who busy choosing vegetables

“Yah that is Irene unnie”

“Irene?” 3 of them said in disbelieve

When she heard someone said her name, Irene turn around and she saw Seulgi friends looking at her with wide eyes and naughty grin. She know that Seulgi and her friends known with their silliness

“Hi unnie” she walk to join them

“Hi Irene” they chirped

“You all come for grocery too?”

“No, we come for movie but it is one hour from now so we talk a walk first” said Tiffany

“You two come for grocery?” Sunny asked

“Yes” both of them nods their head

“Are you staying together now?” Yuri ask with wide smile same as Tiffany and Sunny

“No but I ask her to spend weekend at my house” said Seulgi

The 3 cheer again “Aigooo, you’re lucky Irene. We friend with her for God know how long but she never invite us to spend night at her house” said Tiffany

“Ayyy, you all also used to sleep at my apartment” Seulgi glare at her friends

Yuri pretend that she want to whisper something to Irene “Irene-ah, we thought you’re Seulgi’s girlfriend just now” she said loudly and Seulgi knock her head

Irene blushing madly “Stop teasing her!” Seulgi said

“Aigooo, possessive much” they laughed at the bear

“Irene, if you and Seulgi are in relationship we’re really happy. You have our blessing, don’t worry” Sunny still playing around while Irene just laughing at their antics

“The other girls also will like you for her” Tiffany added and they laughed again

“Aigoooo, Irene sorry if we’re joking too much but the couple part is real. Not a joke” Yuri said

“It’s okay unnie, I don’t mind” Irene said

“Heard that bear, she said she don’t mind if you’re her girlfriend” said Yuri

“Aigooo these unnies, go now. Your movie almost start already” Seulgi shoos them away so they stop make fun

“Sorry for their silliness”

“I don’t mind, don’t worry” Irene said

“Sometimes lot of people can’t handle their joke” Seulgi chuckled as she remembers about her friends who love joking around

“They are really funny”

“Yeah” they giggle “Let continue our shopping”

After buying their food stuff, they leave the mall and go to Irene house to get her clothes.

After have dinner, both of them take some fresh air at balcony

“Weather is so good tonight” said Seulgi

“Yeah and really good for night walk”

“Shall we strolling at the park?” Seulgi suggest. Suddenly she in mood to do lot of things and it really rare for her

“You’re not tired?”

“No, I take enough rest already”

“Okay, let go”

They walk to the park that is 5 minutes from Seulgi apartment and it was safe since it located in the apartment area

“The view here is so beautiful” Irene said when they stand by the rail and enjoyed the view of Han River

“River cruise also pass by this area” Seulgi pointed at the ship

“One day I will go on a river cruise with my love one” Irene said while Seulgi looking at her and smiling
