Kang Seulgi and her best friend, Jung Soojung sat at the café after they return from somewhere. Seulgi keep smiling like idiot as she can’t wait to go home to her other half and tell her the good news. She plans to take her girlfriend out for dinner to celebrate her promotion.

“Yaa, Kang Seulgi can you stop smiling already? You look like a fool now” Soojung rolled her eyes

“Soojungie, you know that I can’t wait to tell Joohyun that I got this position. I want to take her out tonight”

“Well, hard work paid off. You work really hard these past few months so it worth it” Soojung stare at her friend proudly. She know that Seulgi really dedicated to her job and she think that Seulgi deserve the position as main photographer

“Thanks Soojung. I love my job” Seulgi giggle

“Oh yes, speaking of unnie, how is she? It’s been a while since I meet her”

“She is fine but this morning she not feels well. I want to bring her to hospital but she resist”

“Aigoo, get well soon to unnie”

“Yeah” Seulgi nods her head “I want to call her to check if she’s still fever. If it still bad, I have to cancel it tonight”

“You should do”

Seulgi dialing Joohyun number then pressed the phone to her ear. She smile again while waiting for the call connected

“Hello Hyunnie~”

“Hello Kang”

Seulgi frown when the voice is not belongs to Joohyun. Soojung noticed that Seulgi expression change and she getting curious

“Excuse me, who is this? Where is Joohyun?”

“Come to hospital nearby your apartment. Joohyun is here. Come quickly while I still nice”

“Oh okay” the call hang up after that

“Hey Seul, what’s wrong with unnie?” Soojung asked quickly

“Soojung, can you drive me to the hospital? She’s at hospital now and I don’t know who is there with her” Seulgi said worriedly

“Sure, let me pay for our drink first” Soojung beckon the waiter to come to their table then she make payment “Let’s go”

Both of them head to the hospital nearby her apartment. Luckily it is not far from the café so they able to make it quick. After checking with the nurse, both of them run to the room where Joohyun is located

Seulgi and Soojung barged into the room only to be greeted by sleeping Joohyun and her older sister with her parents

“Taeyeon-ssi” Seulgi approaching Joohyun sister but what happen after that really unexpected

*SLAP*

“Yah, why are you slapping her?” Soojung asked unhesitant after her friend slapped without knowing the reason

“You shut up. This is not your business!” Taeyeon gritted her teeth

“This is not my business but Seulgi is my friend. You don’t have right to attack her without reason. She have right to sue you”

“Soojung, calm down” Seulgi said while rubbing her left cheek and jaw

“Totally a jerk” Soojung mumble

“What you said?” Taeyeon retort

“Taeyeon-ssi, stop it. It’s not a time to fight. Care to tell me why do you slap me and why Joohyun is here?” Seulgi asked

Taeyeon snort “Hey Kang, how can you don’t know that she is sick? I don’t know what you are doing at home that you don’t notice her”

“I know she is sick but she resist when I want to take her to hospital this morning. I don’t know why she not calling me when it gets worse”

“That is because she doesn’t want to disturb you working. You’re busy with your work that you don’t have time for her. She thought your work is more important than her so she call us to take her here” Joohyun mother said sternly and her gaze is so cold toward Seulgi

“From the very start I know that Joohyun is choosing wrongly. You don’t deserve her. You can’t even take care of her” said Taeyeon

“Yaah, who said I don’t care about her?” Seulgi retort

“If you do, she will not be here. You fail to show that you’re someone who can protect her. You’re totally a failure. I tell you again Kang, I don’t like you and I still against your relationship with her” Joohyun dad said calmly

“Joohyun better end it with you and she will. She said this will be the end of both of you. Get out of here, Kang” the mother said

“Yah, you all can’t decide anything between me and Joohyun. You can’t brainwash her. We love each other and we’re not breaking up”

“Get lose, you loser!” Taeyeon push Seulgi away but Soojung caught her

“Yah, stop attack her!” Soojung yell as she losing her patience

“Bring this friend of your away from here. We don’t need her!”

The door opens suddenly showing a doctor giving them stern look “What happening here?”

“Dr. Im, we just told this shameless kid to get out of here” said Taeyeon

“Look everyone, if you all have any issue; kindly settle it out of this room. My patient is recovering now so she need to enough rest”

“Leave Kang” said Mr. Bae

“And don’t ever come back” Mrs. Bae added

“Seul, let’s go” Soojung whisper. Seulgi looking at the bed sadly before she leave the room

After they get out, Dr. Im closed the door and followed the girls

“Seulgi”

Seulgi and Soojung turn around “Yes unnie”

“Go to my room now”

They settle at the doctor office after that. Dr. Im Yoona is Seulgi and Soojung senior at high school so they close with each other

“What happened, Seul?”

Seulgi rubbing her face “I don’t know unnie. It feel like a dream because it happen out of expectation. I still can’t get what happen just now”

“Poor thing” Soojung rubbed Seulgi back

“Are they still treating you badly?”

“Yes unnie” Seulgi pointed at her reddened cheek that slapped by Taeyeon just now

“Oh my god, Seulgi-ah” Yoona caressed the red spot and go to her fridge to get the ice pack for Seulgi “Put this on your cheek”

“Thanks unnie”

“What they said to you?” Yoona continue interrogating the girl

Seulgi spilled out every detail about the incident that happened earlier. Soojung also telling the same while Yoona can’t help but let out heavy sighs

“Are you breaking up with her?”

“I don’t know unnie. I hope I’m not too late before they brainwash Joohyun with their thought” said Seulgi

“I hope so”

“Unnie, can you help me?”

“Help with what?”

“You know that they don’t want me here, right?” Yoona nods her head “Can you ask the security guard to watch if they leave the hospital and when they come back so that I can come to see Joohyun when they are not around”

“Sure, it’s not a big deal. I will notify the guards later”

“Thanks a lot unnie”

Yoona pats Seulgi back “Whatever happen, promise me that you will be strong, okay? If she wants you to let her go, just let her be. If both of you are meant to be, she will come back to you not matter how long it take” she said softly

“It hard unnie, I love her so much” Seulgi try not to cry

“If you love something, let it go. You won’t lose everything even if she slips out of your hand. You still have me and Soojung also your friends. We understand if there is nothing you can do to save your relationship. You fight a lot for it and you don’t deserve a hatred, humiliation or insult. Be strong for yourself. If she doesn’t want you and break your heart, collect the broken pieces and take care of it. Heal it. It may take time but you will be fine eventually”

Seulgi hugging Yoona tightly “Thanks for always be there for me, unnie. You always give me support when I’m down”

“I don’t want my precious sister to get hurt” Yoona rubbed Seulgi back gently

“Thanks again, unnie”

“You’re welcome” Yoone smiles “Now, go home and take a rest. I will inform you if they are not around”

“Okay unnie”

Next day, Seulgi come again to the hospital after Yoona told her that Joohyun family will not around because they are working. She have whole day to talk with Joohyun

“Hyun baby, how are you?” Seulgi asked softly while holding Joohyun hand but the girl not hold back

“I’m fine” Joohyun answer coldly
