Son Seungwan is dating a daughter of famous businessman in Korea. The girl name is Park Sooyoung or well known as Joy. She is foster daughter of businessman, Kang Seulgi and his wife, Irene Bae. Joy and Seungwan dating since 2 years and their first meet are at the beach during the vacation. Since then they often meet each other and 7 months later, Seungwan confess his feeling to Joy. Joy accept him immediately because she also like Seungwan personality and he’s match with her ideal type.

After 2 years dating, Joy decided to introduce her boyfriend to her family. She not sure if her parent accepts Seungwan for her because they never talk about marriage. Joy fidgeting on her seat and she look like not enjoying the food “Sooyoung?” her mom calling her but she’s not responds

“Sooyoung” Irene call again

Seeing her sister still zoning out, Kang Yerim, the sole daughter of Kang nudging Joy “Mommy calling you” she whisper

“Y-yes mom” Joy said awkwardly

“You’re not eating properly, are you okay, baby?” Irene ask softly with motherly tone

“I’m fine mommy”

“Papa said that you’re zoning out since we start eating. Seem like something bothering you. Tell us later”

“Okay mommy”

“Now finish your food before your baby sister eat it all” Seulgi said while smiling seeing his younger daughter, Yerim enjoying her food on her plate

“Yes papa” said Joy and start eating

“Papa, I’m not eating all of this. You will make me look fat” Yerim whine and Seulgi laughing at her “Mommy~” she pout

Irene shook her head seeing her daughter antic “Finish your food then you will help mommy washing dishes. Your unnie will clear the table”

Irene feel happy having 2 daughters because they can do lot of things together. Seeing them growing up well make her a proud mother but she feel sorry at her husband because she can’t give Seulgi a son because after giving birth of Yerim, Irene can’t pregnant again. Even they don’t have son, Seulgi also happy with their daughters and they have strong bond.

Although Joy is not her biological daughter but she and her husband raise her like their own daughter. They never treat her unfair. Whatever they buy for Yerim, they will buy for Joy as well. “Sooyoung, what do you want to talk about earlier?” Irene asking

“I have something to tell both of you” Joy nervous

“Just tell us, why you suddenly looked nervous?” Irene confuse seeing her daughter act like she commit crime

“Come on dear, tell us” Seulgi also eager to know

“Actually…” Joy takes deep breath “I want to bring my friend to come here to meet both of you”

“Is it why you looked nervous earlier? Just because you want to bring your friend here” Irene laughed and she can’t believe what her daughter just said

Seulgi also chuckle “We never disallow you to bring your friend to come here baby”

Joy nervous again “Actually that is not just friend…”

“Then what?” everyone looked at Joy, waiting for the answer. Yerim who not interested in their conversation also turn her focus to her unnie

“Boyfriend?” Irene and Seulgi asked together

“Why it is a burden to you? You worry if we scold you?”

Joy smile to her parent “Thanks papa, mommy” she hugged them tight

Finally, it was the day where the couple will meet with Joy’s parent. Even her parent give green light, but she still worries because lot of things can happen when they know about Seungwan background. All she can do is pray and hope that everything will go well

Seungwan arrive at Kang mansion and Joy waiting for him at the front door. He gets out of his car and greeted his girlfriend with sweetest smile

“That was your task Seungwan. We want her to balance in those things so that you can have a good future together” Irene said

“If you can make her be a good woman, I will give her hand to you but if you fail, I’m sorry in advance. I challenge you”

“I accept your challenge and I will do my best” Seungwan said with determination. He really not imagines that this meeting will be this cool and peaceful. He thought that there will be a curse and scolding season or Mr. Kang will ask their security to throw him out of the house
