Sorry for causing you all to wait too long. Recently, I have lost three close relatives due to a pandemic as well as a chronic illness. That caused me to rest for a few days in honor of their departure. I hope all readers are patient and wait for me to return to writing consistently as before. Seulgi gets out of the labor room after accompanying Irene delivering their son. He smiled widely as he saw his mother and mother-in-law. The elder quickly approaching him with excitement

“Seulgi-ah, how is Irene and your baby?” ask Mrs. Bae

“Both of them are good, mom. Baby is healthy and very handsome”

“Well, he take after both of you so he have a good look” said Mrs. Kang and Mrs. Bae agree with her

“Nurse will bring them to the ward after cleaning them. Let’s wait for them there. I’m so hungry” Seulgi rubbing his tummy

“Aigoo, you just accompany your wife to deliver your son but you're already whining. You’re a father now, Kang Seulgi” said his mother

Seulgi grin “Being a father is not a problem for me to be your baby”

“Let’s go” Mrs. Kang drag her son back to the VIP room to wait for Irene and her baby

While waiting for his wife to wake up, Seulgi adores his son who sleeps peacefully in the crib beside his mom's bed. He can’t help but crack a loving smile seeing the baby’s face. Irene said their son is a carbon copy of him. Their mothers also agree with her. Now Seulgi is a proud father of their little one

Seulgi took his phone from the table then opened his Instagram. He decide to make appreciation post for his wife

Seulgirene After a lot of prayers, wishes and struggle, you have finally given me a handsome baby boy. I congratulate both you and me. Know that whatever the circumstance be in future, I will always be grateful to you for your lovely gift to me.

He really is adorable and I feel that the divine has fulfilled my desire to have such an adorable son. I cannot fathom how in the world you absorbed so much pain to deliver our son!!! “Noona!” Jeno and Jaehyun squeal as soon as they open the door. The boys are excited to meet their newborn nephew.

“You two are noisy” Irene glare at them

“Sorry noona, we just excited” Jaehyun said innocently

“You two are not working?” Seulgi asked

“I’m free right now” said Jeno

“I escaped after eomma told me that my nephew was born” Jaehyun answered as Irene rolled her eyes. Her brother always gives innocent answers and takes everything easy.

“Junmyeon will punish you if he know you escape”

“He can’t punish me because I’m under RV Holdings right now”

“Whatever”

“By the way, where is our mom?” Jeno noticed their mothers is not around while this morning the elder quickly go to hospital after Seulgi told them that Irene will deliver her baby

“They go out for lunch”

“Hyung, what is his name?” Jaehyun adoring the sleeping baby

“Kang Jimin” Seulgi stated proudly

“Eh? Are you taking after the kpop idol’s name?”

“Ew, of course not. I randomly chose that name for him” Seulgi glared at his brother who gave him a dirty look as he thought Seulgi took after one of male idol names. Jeno already thought that Irene and Seulgi lack of idea and not creative at all

“Noona, I bought a gift for him. I will give it when both of you discharge” Jaehyun stated

“Okay, doctor say we can go home tomorrow or a day after” said Irene

“I can’t wait to play with him” Jeno really wants to touch baby Jimin's cheek but he is scared. The baby look so fragile to him so he hesitate to even touch the cheek

“You only look after him, not playing yet” say Seulgi

“Why?” Jeno dramatically pouting

“He was just born a few hours ago yet you already plan to play with him. All you can do is helping mom to look after him while I take care of Joohyun”

“You just taking advantage” Jeno rolled his eyes

Later that evening, the other family members paid a visit after work. They adore the handsome baby boy who is cradled by his grandmother. The most excited are Soojung, Sooyoung and Yerim.

“Seul, Rene…Seohyun said she will come here this weekend with Wendy, Yongsun and Moonbyul. She really excited to meet your baby” said Yoong

“I thought she’s not coming because Wendy don’t mention her name earlier” said Seulgi

“Maybe she make last minute decision”

“Yoong, you should marry Seohyun quickly. I think she want to have baby already” Mr. Kang teasing his son

“Maybe next year, dad” Yoong grin

“Joohyun-ah, I already purchased a small gift for baby Jimin. I will bring it to you when you all go home” Junmyeon said to his twin

“Sure thing, I look forward to see the not-so-call small gift” said Irene

“You and oppa will surely faint when you see the small gift that he said” Yerim nudging her brother then Junmyeon glare at her

Suddenly, Sooyoung complained “Guys, I’m hungry. Let’s buy some snacks and eat together here”

“Good idea!” Soojung and Yerim squeal

“Junmyeon oppa, let’s go” Yerim linked her arm with her brother then drag him out of the room

Sooyoung, Soojung and Yoong follow behind. At first, Yoong don’t want to go but his sisters forcing him so he just obey to them

Mr. Bae said after the kids went out to buy snacks “We also already prepared a gift for both of you for giving us our first grandchild. We bought house for your little family at Seoul so that you don’t need to stay at apartment anymore”

Seulgi and Irene looking at each other then Seulgi want to protest “Appa…”

“No Seulgi, we’re not accepting rejection. When you go back to Seoul, you must stay there”

Then Mr. Kang added “It’s enough that you reject a lot of things that we give you. This time whether you want it or not, you must accept it. At least do it for Irene and your kid. I don’t know the reason behind your rejection of the facilities that I and your mom offer to you but you should lower your ego. Think about your family. How long do you want to stay in a small apartment? Your child needs a cozy place as he grows up. You are a parent now so you must prioritize your child needs instead of yourself. I know you want to be independent but still you are not even thinking of having your own shelter even after you know Irene is pregnant with your child. Learn from your past marriage. Grow up, son” he speak softly but the reason behind his word is deep and meaningful

“I’m sorry, dad” Seulgi felt guilty. His dad rarely gives long advice but when he steps in that means he doesn't like what he sees or hears. Mr. Kang is calm but when he is in serious mode, no one dare to look into his eyes

“It’s okay, don’t repeat the same mistake. Whatever we give you is for us to show how much we love and appreciate you. Receive our gift doesn’t mean you depend on us or you can’t afford to buy the same stuff”

“Okay,” Seulgi said. Irene caressed Seulgi back softly to support him. She know her husband feel guilty right now

It has been a week since Irene and her baby discharge. They stayed at Kang’s house since they came from Korea. She is watching TV while feeding baby Jimin when Seulgi comes to their bedroom. He climbed up the bed and sat beside her. Seeing Irene focus on the TV, he also take a look to see what program that attract her attention

“Yah” Seulgi was shocked when he saw Jisoo on TV. She appear on one of the shows where celebrities will eat at the restaurant that recommended by public

“Why do you watching her?” he asking his wife

“Listen to what she said” Irene signal Seulgi to silent

Seulgi gets puzzled when Jisoo talks about the food and she reminisces about her old time with her ex-husband which is no other than Seulgi. She said it is Seulgi's favorite food. Eating that food reminds her of Seulgi. She also mentioned that she has a good relationship with him and they are sorting things out, trying to fix their relationship. Seulgi can’t tolerate her acting anymore. He grab the remote and turn off the TV

Irene sighs softly as she fixes her shirt since Jimin is already sleeping. She put him in his crib beside her then she lean against the headboard

“I do not regret my decision to stay here to avoid her. If only we are still in Seoul and our family is watching this broadcast, we will get into a disaster. Now we’re in safe zone because our parents know what she said is all lie” said Irene

“What do you think we should do to stop her? Knowing that woman, she will not stop until she get what she want” Seulgi looking at his wife

“Sit back and relax. Let's see how long she can play her game. We will start when the time is right and I will make sure, she not dare to even look at camera like she did now” Irene smirk

Seulgi just silent while staring at his wife's side profile. He doesn't know what is inside Irene’s mind but he’s sure that Irene does not take this matter lightly. She must be planning something that is unexpected by the others

During dinner, Mr. Kang asks Seulgi and Irene about the same topic. He know about the broadcast from his wife who also watching the same program

“Seulgi, what are you going to do regarding this matter? We shouldn’t stay silent. If you don’t say anything, people will think that her statement is true” said Mr. Kang

“Joohyun already have plan, dad”

Irene nods her head “That’s right, dad. I will let her play as much as she wants. We will drop the bomb when time is right”

“But don’t take too long. She’s going too far, I see” said Mrs. Kang

“Mom is right. She never missed talking about oppa whenever she had a chance. It looks like she is using her past marriage to steal the spotlight. If only people know that you’re my brother, I already deny her statement” Sooyoung said angrily

“If possible, we can help to stop her but hyung identity must be reveal to public” Jeno added while looking at his brother

“Everything will be fine. Trust me. Wendy is doing her work right now” Irene assuring Kang family members that situation is under control

“Hm, her contract with our agency will end next year and I swear, I will not offer another contract with her. Let her find another overseas agency. I don’t want to have any kind of relationship with that loser” Sooyoung grunt then she continued eating her food. Jeno is busy adding food to Sooyoung's plate because he knows his sister will eat a lot if she is angry. He doesn't mind spending his money to feed Sooyoung instead of listening to her complaint and nagging for hours. Money is not a matter to him

“When will you two go back to Korea?” Mr. Kang asking again

The couple looked at each other “We decided to go back when Jimin is three months old. Right now is too early for him to travel”

“Alright”

Seulgi and Irene return to South Korea after spending a year in New York. Now they come back with their baby boy. Irene feels relieved because Jimin doesn't have trouble on his first flight. He is calm and not throwing tantrum unless he want milk or diapers is full

The little family walked out of the arrival hall with Seulgi pushing their cart and Irene carrying their baby. They walk towards Wendy who waving her hands excitedly as soon as she saw them

“Welcome home!” Wendy hugging Irene and Jimin

“Thank you~ Jimin-ah, say hi to Aunty Wendy” Irene baby talk with her baby then she giggle

“Do you come alone?” Seulgi asking Wendy

“Of course, I don’t have partner” Wendy answer playfully

“Well, Junmyeon is still available” Irene and Seulgi still trying to match-making Wendy and Junmyeon

“Let’s not talk about my partner. We should go now. Jimin seem like excited to explore his new place” Wendy caressing Jimin cheek before lead them to the car that she parked right in front of the entrance at VIP parking lot

One hour later, they arrived at Seulgi and Irene’s new house. The couple can’t help but be surprised to see the big house that their parents gift to them. The most surprised is Seulgi because he did not expect the house to be this big and luxurious.

“So this is the house?” Seulgi asking Wendy as soon as they get out of the car

“Yep, this is your wedding gift from your parents”

“What about our stuff?”

“Tomorrow house moving stuff will go to your apartment to move your stuff so you need to go there and pack. Just inform me when you’re ready so I will bring them to your place”

“Okay” Seulgi nods his head

“As for some stuff at unnie’s penthouse, I already moved it as you ordered and arranged it already. If you need to change the place, I will ask the staff to do it tomorrow. Cars are also here already. Your car porch is down there fit for two cars and another one up here also enough for two cars. About safety, this neighborhood is very safe because the security guards patrol every one hour during the day and every thirty minutes at night. CCTV is also available everywhere. Strangers also not easily enter like we saw earlier at the gateway. There are lot of community amenities provided in this neighborhood like supermarket, playground, café, park, mini workshop and many more” Wendy give briefing to the couple and they listen attentively

“You know a lot about this place” said Irene

“I read the pamphlet when your mom told me that you two will move to this place then I take a drive around the neighborhood. You will like this place, unnie. It’s really your type. You can even watch sunset at the park” Wendy say excitedly

“Can’t wait to explore our new place” Irene chirped as she looking at Seulgi

“We can stroll around when we’re free” say Seulgi

“Shall we enter now?”

“Sure”

They enter the house following Wendy. Irene's eyes sparkled as she saw the interior design. The design suit her preference

“This must be mom’s idea. She know my style” Irene smile widely

“Yeah, it is your mom and mother-in-law idea”

“They have a good taste” said Seulgi as he look around

“Let’s go upstairs. I will show you your bedroom”

Everyone walks to the upper floor where the master bedroom is located. The house has five bedrooms in total.

“This is the master bedroom. Crib for baby Jimin also there” Wendy pointed at the crib beside the king size bed

“Wow, he will like it so much” Irene giggled as she kissed her son “Jimin-ah, this is our new house and that is your bed. You will sleep soundly, won't you?”

Wendy suddenly laughs while staring at Irene and her son “Unnie, can I say that you change a lot after giving birth?”

“Change like what?” Irene curious

“You…gain weight” Wendy said hesitantly while holding her laugh. Seulgi also turn his face away as he suppress his laugh

“Yah, Son Seungwan” Irene glare at Wendy

“Sorry unnie but that’s the truth” Wendy can’t hold her laugh anymore

“Calm down, Hyun. You’re still beautiful though” Seulgi caressed Irene back

“Whatever” Irene rolled her eyes
