Four pairs of eyes turned wide as soon as they saw the figure that appeared at the door. Irene, Taeyeon and Yerim looking in disbelief while Mr. Bae looked really surprise because this is first time he meet the CEO of Hexagon International

“Kang Seulgi?”

“You’re Kang Seulgi, right?”

Mr. Bae turned his face to his daughters “Do you guys know her?”

“Yes”

Seulgi clearing makes the Bae family pay attention back to her “Can I sit?”

“Yes, sure. Have a sit”

Seulgi leisurely sit on the couch beside Wendy “Oh right, that one is Vice CEO of Hexagon, Tiffany Hwang”

“Wow, so pretty,” Taeyeon says quietly. She slightly slap her cheek to gain back her focus “Have a sit, Ms. Hwang”

“Let me introduce myself to you all. I am Kang Seulgi, CEO and Chairwoman of Hexagon International”

“This is for real, right?” Mr. Bae still can’t believe the fact because of the way Seulgi dress up not showing that she is a CEO

“Yes, Mr. Bae. You must be hesitant to believe it because of my outfit, don’t you?” Seulgi chuckled, “Mr. Mark is not wearing fancy clothes but he is a billionaire now. Wendy. Continue”

“Okay boss” Wendy took her Ipad and showed a picture to Bae family “She is the sole heiress of Hexagon. Daughter to Kang Woojin and Jung Jiyeon. This is her official portrait and another one is her family picture”

“So hot” Yerim commented in low voice

“Why do you never show yourself to the public, Chairwoman? Everyone curious to see the leader of Hexagon” Mr. Bae questioning

“I don’t think it necessary to show it. I’m comfortable working behind my trusted staff”

“Oh I see. Chairwoman Kang, Attorney Son and Ms. Hwang, may I know what you want to drink? I’ll ask our secretary to make it”

“Coffee for me” said Tiffany

“Me too” Wendy added

“What about you, chairwoman?”

“She has her own coffee. Ask the secretary to enter”

“Okay” Taeyeon quickly call her secretary

Wendy gives a sachet of coffee powder to Secretary Seo “This is coffee for Chairwoman Kang. Add half hot water and half warm water because she can’t drink too hot. Don’t put sugar or creamer because the coffee itself already has creamer. Make sure you remember the measurement that I said. Chairwoman will reject it if the taste not suit her tongue”

“Noted ma’am”

“She is so bossy and demand” Irene whisper to Taeyeon and received small nods from her older sister

“Shall we begin our discussion?” Tiffany speak

“Sure Ms. Hwang,” Taeyeon quickly answered before her father. She really excited to interact with the Vice CEO since the woman enter earlier

“First of all, can you explain the details of the problem that happened to your skincare product?”

As the President of Bae Corporation, Taeyeon steps forward to explain the problem to their guests. She did not leave any details including Mr. Kim was appointed as a production manager even though he still has little experience and doesn't meet the requirement to be the manager. Tiffany and Wendy have two way communication with Mr. Bae and his daughters but Seulgi just focus on her phone, playing mobile game

“Do you punish him as he deserves?” Seulgi's question makes everyone turn to her. She still focuses on her game. Wendy signaling the Bae to answer the question even though Seulgi not looking at them

“Yes, chairwoman. We already give him punishment he deserved and make him paid generous amount of money”

“You should go harder on him but it's okay, maybe you are not used to cruelty. If it’s me who he play with, he already become a history”

Seulgi’s reaction gave goosebumps to the Bae family. Tiffany and Wendy nods their head as sign that Seulgi mean her words

“What about your company, especially your financial situation now?” Seulgi gives her phone to Wendy. Now she looked up with serious expression

Mr. Bae looked sad “Investors and shareholders leave one by one. Our funds are also running low. We have to pause the production of our product. Our staff are already asking about their salary this month just in case we’ll cut their salary to save cost. We still don’t have answer for that”

Seulgi, Tiffany and Wendy looking at their Ipad as if they communicate through that device. The Bae family patiently waited for their next response. After few minutes, Seulgi give confident and firm nods to Tiffany and Wendy then they put down their Ipad

“After make final decision just now, I would like to acquire shares of Bae Corporations” Seulgi stated

Mr. Bae, Taeyeon and Irene were shocked by Seulgi’s statement “Do you mean you want to acquire the entire share?”

“Yes, entirely”

“We’ll lost everything if you take this company” Mr. Bae protest

“I do this for your business. I want to save this business. My initial plan was to invest but seeing your company's situation getting critical, I changed to plan B. I can invest a large amount of money but it can’t help to gain society's trust immediately. You guys know what people's perspective is about your product and your company following the big accident. The growth will be slow. I decided to use the acquire method to make it easy for you to grow again. Public has faith in us. Hexagon never fails them. If Bae Corporation belongs to Hexagon, your product will be accepted by the public in no time. Hexagon can easily shut down negative thoughts about your product. You don’t have to know how we do it. Just follow what my team does, I guarantee the curve will go up sharper. Hexagon have large connection and strong influence in society” Seulgi explain firmly while look deep into Mr. Bae eyes

After a few minutes of silence, Seulgi spoke again “I give you all three days to think and discuss about the acquisition of Bae Corporations shares by Hexagon. I’ll come again in three days after my trip to Switzerland. Discuss among four of you and with the board of directors. Think about the pro and con if you decline my offer and what you could get if Bae Corporations join Hexagon. Remember last year's share acquisition happened in Chinhwa Property by Hexagon International. Look what happened to Chinhwa Property now. What is their position amongst property companies and the stock market in Korea? How much do they make throughout the year? How do they recover the loss after a large money embezzlement case in their company? If you don’t know about it, go find out what make them a great property company”

Seulgi stood up after finishing speaking “I want to go now since there is nothing else to talk about. Think carefully before making a final decision. There is no coercion here because all decisions are in your hands, especially you, Chairman Bae and President Bae. My staff won’t contact you in these three days to give you space to make a decision. We will come back in exactly three days”

“Thank you for the offer, Chairwoman Kang. We’ll consider it. Let me walk you guys to the lobby”

“I’m sorry, chairman. You don’t need to send us away for the sake of our chairwoman's privacy. We don’t want to gain attention that could make her uncomfortable” Wendy apology

“Okay then, thanks again for coming” Mr. Bae and his daughter bow politely

After the door closes, Bae sisters plop their bodies onto the couch “I still can’t believe Seulgi unnie sits in front of us as a Chairwoman of Hexagon. I almost thought she is different person earlier” said Yerim

“I also feel like dreaming” Irene added

“Did you guys meet her before this?” Mr. Bae asked curiously

“Yes appa, we met her by accident. She is totally a different person unlike what we saw just now. No one expect she is a chairwoman of big company when they meet her outside”

“She really keeps her identity from her public. We’re lucky that we are able to meet great people. A lot of people out there wish to see her but she come to us without we invite”

“You’re right, appa”

“Appa, what do you think about her offer? Will you accept it?” Irene asking

“Her offer seems promising. As she said about Chinhwa, that company gained back their track in no time after Hexagon acquired their shares last year. They have become a great property company now. However, we can’t make a decision without discussing it with the board of directors. We will have meeting with the board tomorrow to discuss about this matter”

“Okay appa”

“I’ll go back to my office. See you guys during lunch”

“Alright” Mr. Bae leaving his daughters

Taeyeon sits straight after her father leaves “Yerm, go find out about Seulgi. I’m so curious about her”

“You still don’t believe she is the chairwoman?”

“No, I believe her. I am only curious about her personal life. We should know a bit about her in order to prepare ourselves to work with her. You see how she behaved earlier and how she interacted with her staff. She is so different from any other CEO I ever met. She plays games during important meetings but her ear listens carefully. What an amazing person” Taeyeon reasoning

“Okay unnie, I’ll search for her SNS at least. Maybe it could help us to know about her”

“Good idea”

“We should go to the café where she works. Maybe we could find some info there” said Irene

“Don’t you say you don’t want to go there anymore?” Yerim nudging her unnie

“Aish, I said that when I’m mad. No matter what, we must go back to that café. I believe the café manager is one of the closest people with Seulgi”

“True, let’s go there as soon as possible” said Taeyeon

Usually if her Instagram post is her own picture, it must be posted by Wendy unnie or Karina. Seulgi unnie only active in Whatsapp story because that place is private since only her contact can see it”

“Karina is her foster sister. Seulgi unnie met Karina when she was 15 years old. Rina is six years younger than her. She found Karina in a pitiful state at the roadside.
