It has been 2 years since Seulgi left the country. She still keep-in-touch with her friends but she doesn’t tell them where she is. She never contacts Bae's sister to make it fair for both sides. She only keep-in-touch with Yerim.

It was a typical evening at Bae mansion. Bae sisters together with Joy, Solar, Krystal, Moonbyul, Lisa and Rose sat at the garden, spend their evening together

“Where is the 4D human?” Moonbyul nagging because Jisoo still not arrive

“Maybe she is still sleeping” Wendy said

“I think you’re right. She have movie marathon last night” Lisa said

“Hey everyone!” Jisoo skipped to their place

“Aigoo Jisoo-ssi, what are you doing that you took so long to come?” Krystal ask

Jisoo flashed the widest smile she ever had. “I have a phone call with Seulgi unnie!” she wave her phone happily and sit on the empty chair

“What?! Seulgi?” Solar and Krystal face glowing

“Yep, she called me earlier. We’ll make video call in 15 minutes” Jisoo said happily

“Yah, why is she never video calls with me?!” Joy punch Jisoo arm

“Maybe you make her annoying” Jisoo gain a hard smack on her head

“Where is she now?” Lisa curious

“At Manchester” say Jisoo

“What? Manchester?” everyone eyes widened except Yerim

“Yeah, she’s in Manchester. She was in Canada before. After that, she move to Manchester” Jisoo explain

“How do you know?” Lisa ask curiously

“Well, I always update about her. I visited her more than 5 times in 2 year at Manchester. We watched Manchester United play at the stadium. She’s grown up now even still slow loading” Jisoo giggle

“Why did you never tell us that you visited her?” Moonbyul glare at Jisoo

“You all never listen. I said I would go to Manchester but no one got my hint. You all laughed at me and said that I go there to flirt with foreign guys. I want to bring you all along but no one want to go” Jisoo rolled her eyes

“Daddy knows about this?” Irene ask

“Of course, he sponsored my ticket whenever I visited Seulgi unnie. He’s happy when I said unnie is doing well and healthy. I asked him if I can bring these girls along and he said ok but he did not let me bring both of you. Unfortunately, these fool people don’t want to go” the girls glare murderously at Jisoo but she ignore it

“Yerm, do you know about Seulgi too?” Irene asking her younger sister

“Yup, I know everything about her. I also know that Jisoo unnie visited her. She sends a lot of gifts to me whenever Jisoo unnie visits her. We never lost connection” Yerim and Jisoo high five

“Shall we have a trip to Manchester at the end of this month?” Solar said

“That good idea” supports Joy

“What for?” Jisoo ask

“To visit unnie” Rose said

“No need, she said she wants to tell me good news. I was wondering what the good news was. There are 2 probabilities for her good news. First, she buys a new PlayStation and second, she moves to another country again. That 2 is good news that she tell me even I don’t think it as good news”

“She still not change” Moonbyul giggle

Jisoo's phone rang on the table and she quickly grabbed it. She smile happily and the other girls got her hint

“That must be Seulgi unnie!” Joy exclaimed

“Yes”

“We want to talk to Seulgi too” Krystal said

“Catch me if you can!” Jisoo ran to the other side of the mansion. The girls chasing her quickly except Joy, Yerim, Wendy and Irene

“They must be missed her so much” Joy chuckle and shook her head

“Why you not join them?” Wendy ask

“There will be no space for me to talk and Seulgi unnie will annoy by their noisiness”

“Unnie, are you all childhood friends?” Yerim ask

“Byul unnie and Seulgi unnie are childhood friends together with Jisoo unnie since they live in the same town. Solar unnie and Krystal unnie have also been friends since back then because they lived close to each other. Lisa and I met at our high school. Both of us met with Rose because we took the same course at university and it happens that we all study at the same university. We met during a festival at university. We ended up together until now. People are afraid of us back then since we look like female gangster at university” Joy said

“No wonder everyone glue to each other” Irene commented

“You’re right, unnie”

Few moments later, the girls come back with their childish smile

“Sooyoung, why do you join us? Seulgi is looking for you” Solar pats Joy shoulder

“Yah Joy, Seulgi said she’ll buy gift for us when she come back” Krystal grins

“Seulgi also said she’ll not buy for you because you not greet her” Moonbyul added

“Seulgi unnie knows me well. I know she’ll buy something for me” Joy said arrogantly “Wait, you said she’ll come back. When?”

“Next Saturday she said” Lisa answer

“She returns for good or for a few days?”

“She don’t tell more about that”

Jisoo appears behind Joy then gives her phone to the taller girl “Joy, listen to this voice note. Seulgi send special for you”

‘Hey Sooyoungie, how are you doing? I missed you, you know. How dare you not greet me just now? I’M UPSET! Last time you said you miss me. Today I want to talk to everyone but you don’t come. As punishment, I want you to clean my house before I come back next weekend. If you do not do it, I’ll sleep at your house. Take note, bye!’ – Seulgi voice note

Everyone laughing heartily at what Seulgi said while Joy glare at the phone as if she can saw Seulgi face there laughing at her

“Joy unnie, remember your task” Rose joking

“How dare that polar bear order me around!” Joy balled her fist

Next Saturday

Jisoo, Moonbyul, Solar and Krystal go to the airport while Joy, Rose and Lisa go to the mansion. Mr. Bae ask them to bring Seulgi to mansion before go to her house

“Aigoo, I’m so excited to meet Seulgi” Solar giggle

“Me too” Krystal added

The flight they’re waiting for landed as scheduled. They walk closer to the arrival hall. Few minutes later, a tall woman with blonde hair, wearing white polo shirt, black jeans and shades coolly exit the arrival hall while pushing her luggage cart

“Seulgi!” Krystal and Solar scream then they run to Seulgi. The blonde girl open her arms widely, waiting for her friend to her embrace

“Aigoo, I missed my people” Seulgi pats Solar and Krystal back soon as they jump to her embrace

“We miss you badly, Seul” Krystal said then they pull back

“Seulgi!” Moonbyul come and hugging Seulgi follow by Jisoo

“How are you, buddy?” Moonbyul ask

“I’m fine as you can see” Seulgi shrugged her shoulder

“You gain weight” Jisoo pats Seulgi tummy

“Just increase 2 kilos” they laughing

“Shall we go now?” Jisoo said

“Sure”

Moonbyul helped Seulgi to push her luggage cart “We’ll go to the mansion first. Uncle and aunty want to see you”

“Alright then”

“Seulgi, are you nervous?” Krystal wrapped her arm around Seulgi shoulder while they walk to the car

“Nervous for what?” Seulgi confuse

“You know, you’ll going to face your former girlfriends” Moonbyul wiggle her eyebrows

“I’m cool”

“Glad to hear it”

“Are they okay now?”

“Yeah, everything is okay. Their relationship broke badly for a few months. Yerim is in the middle of her sisters. Wendy is fine but her sister is…I don’t know how to tell you” Moonbyul recalls the fuss that happened after Seulgi's departure. Irene and Wendy's relationship is broken badly and shows no sign of getting better until Irene lowers her ego. Bae mansion is the scariest place in their area during that period. The temperature also negative all the time, not to mention the dark aura

“Joohyun has been a little monster since you left. Wendy tries hard to confront her. Joohyun is really broken after you leave. She cried non-stop for a few days then her hypertension got bad due to lack of sleep, stress and thinking so much but now she’s okay. Wendy doesn't have any problem. She try to accept the fact that both of you break up” Solar added to Moonbyul statement

“Are they reconciled now?”

“They do reconcile but yeah…there is still an obvious gap between them. Yerim said Irene unnie only talks to Wendy when necessary. She is still upset. At the office, they look like they don't have a problem with each other but at home, they are still close yet so far. Their parents are sad seeing their daughters are not on good terms but Yerim assure them that everything will be fine. She doesn't want their parents to interfere because it will only make the situation worse knowing Irene unnie emotion is sometimes uncontrollable. Only Yerim can have decent talk with unnie and unnie also only listen to Yerim advice” say Krystal

“Hard-headed” Seulgi say quietly

Solar smile “She became hard-headed with reason. She is nice to us because we have nothing to do with your relationship. She still jokes around with us and sometimes we’re out. We’re happy because at least she smiles sincerely with us. I don’t know what will happen after your return but I hope your presence will make everything better, especially with Irene. She has gone through a lot since you left. I can see how much she in love with you even she never voice it out to us”

Jisoo drives them back to the mansion. They leave the topic about Bae sisters and talk about Seulgi new life along the way to the mansion

Everyone was waiting for Seulgi excitedly, especially Yerim and her parents. Wendy and Irene are also excited to see Seulgi but they don’t show it directly. They gather at the living room while watching TV and having snacks

“Solar unnie texted me, she said Seulgi landed safely. They’re on their way here” Lisa said

“Aigoo, I can’t wait to see that bear” Joy said cheerfully

“Solar unnie said she look so healthy than before and really cool” Lisa giggle

“Could it be she gain so much weight” Rose laughed

1 hour later, Krystal show up at the living room with glowing face

“Hi everyone”

“You all arrived already?” Lisa chirped

“Yup”

“Wait, where is Joy?” Rose look at her left side and there is no Joy

Suddenly… “SEULGI!!!!!!!!!!” that loud voice heard from the hallway

“Did she teleport?” Rose ask confusedly since they don’t notice when Joy go to Seulgi

Rose, Lisa and Krystal walk to the hallway where Joy reunites with Seulgi and their eyes widened when they saw Joy cling to Seulgi like a koala. Her arms circle around Seulgi neck while her legs on Seulgi waist

“Unnie, you look so cute now” Joy cupped Seulgi face after she jump down

“Don’t I always look cute?” Seulgi giggles

“But cuter now”

“Yea, I know it”

“Seulgi unnie, welcome home” Rose and Lisa take turn to hug Seulgi

“Thanks girls” she flash cheerful smile

“You’re so cool with that hair, buddy” Lisa Seulgi’s blonde hair

“Thanks buddy”

“Let go to living room” Joy dragged Seulgi to living room follow by the other girls

The elder welcomed Seulgi with a warm hug. Both of them missed her so much. Seulgi inhale deeply before she hugging Wendy as Bae sisters stand up as they saw Seulgi coming with Joy

“Welcome home” Wendy said while still embracing Seulgi

“Thanks, how are you?”

“I’m fine”

“That’s good then” Seulgi smile and pull away

She moved to Irene and hugged the older girl “How are you?” Seulgi ask softly

“I’m fine”

“Do you miss me? I miss you so much” Seulgi whisper

“I do, I still do” Irene whispers enough for Seulgi to hear

Then she hugged the maknae who was flashing her evil smile “What do you buy for me?” Yerim welcome Seulgi with question about gift that Seulgi promised her

“Your gift still in my luggage”

“Alright. By the way, I miss you so much”

“I miss you too, sweetie” Seulgi kiss Yerim head before broke their hug

After that, Seulgi sit at the couch beside Moonbyul “Seulgi, you must treat us dinner tonight” Jisoo stated shamelessly

“I thought you’re the one who’ll treat me. I gave you lot of foods when you visit me back then”

“She must be troubling you” Moonbyul said and Jisoo throw cushion to her

“You must treat me dinner no matter what Seul”

“If I want” Seulgi stuck her tongue out

“Okay, just walk back home later and drag your luggage with you”

“I’ll ride with Joy” Seulgi change seat to Joy side then Joy pats her head

“Joy ride my car earlier” Rose smirk

“Then we can walk together” say Joy

“Joy unnie, remember that she made you clean her house” Rose provoke the girls

Joy turns to Seulgi and breathes hard. She almost yells when Solar stops her “Kids, please behave. This is not our house” Solar massage her temple

“We’ll talk later” Joy rolled her eyes annoyingly

“Seul, how’s life now?” Mr. Bae ask after laughing at the chaotic kids

“Everything is fine dad”

“Glad to hear that. I’ll talk about other things later; you must be tired after long flight” say Mr. Bae

“Okay dad. We have to go now”

“Get enough rest, Seul. Don’t go anywhere yet” say Mrs. Bae

“Okay mom. Come on, let go” Seulgi stands up but the girls groaning “Yah, why did you all sulking?” Seulgi puzzled

“Because no free dinner” Moonbyul answer nonchalantly

“Okay” Seulgi fish out her phone and give to Rose “Just order whatever you want”

“Yes!” everyone pump fist

“Let go my best friend” Rose happily dragged Seulgi to her car while the blonde whining

“Aunty, uncle we have to go now” Joy said

“Drive safely” Bae family walk Joy out since the other girls already walk out

“Yah, why did Rose leave me?!” Joy yell when she saw Rose car is not there

“You know, she is so happy because of the dinner treat so you’ll ride with us” Jisoo said as she leaned at her car door. Her car is full right now since Moonbyul, Lisa, Solar and Krystal are inside. Lisa and Solar supposed to ride with Rose but before they reach outside, Rose already speed up her car

“What?! It is so full inside” Joy pointed at the car while the people inside waving like a kid

“Come one Park Sooyoung-ssi or you walk back” Jisoo crossed her arms over her chest

“It is so full there” Joy whine

“Joy-ah, Seungwan can drive you back” Mrs. Bae pats Joy back

“No need aunty, she can ride with us” Jisoo said “Yah, hurry up or Rose will finish the foods” Jisoo nagging and dragged Joy to her car than she shove Joy inside

“Bye!” Jisoo bid goodbye to Bae family after that they leave the mansion

Solar, Jisoo, Joy and Krystal having lunch together “Girls, let's hold a welcoming dinner for Seulgi unnie. We haven’t do anything to celebrate her return” Jisoo lean at the chair

“Em, that's a good idea. I think everyone will agree” Joy said

“When will we organize it?” ask Krystal

“Maybe tomorrow night. Tomorrow is Friday” Jisoo said

“It’s not bad because today I have meeting on 4 PM and maybe I’ll back late” say Solar

“Shall we bring Wendy unnie and Irene unnie along? I know Yerim will agree if I invite her. I just hesitate to invite her sisters” Joy ask

“I don’t know” Lisa shrugged her shoulder

“It felt bad if we don’t tag them along since they are our friends too” Krystal said

“Just try to ask our boss if they want to join us. I will talk with them later” Joy said

“Okay”

Joy sits at Wendy office after their meeting ended

“Tomorrow night we plan to hold dinner for Seulgi unnie. Do you want to join?” Joy ask carefully

Wendy smiles then nods her head “Why not, I’m free tomorrow, isn’t it?”

“Alright, I’ll tell you the place tomorrow because we haven’t decide which restaurant we want to go” Joy flash her eye smile

“Okay” Wendy smile shortly

“If there is nothing else, I’ll go outside. I want to meet Yerim to invite her for dinner tomorrow

Irene and Solar back on their way back after visiting their new café at Hongdae. Solar decide to talk about tomorrow dinner because the girls authorize her to invite Irene since she have schedule with the CEO today

“Joohyun” Solar broke the silence

“Yes”

“Tomorrow we have dinner with Seulgi, will you come?” Solar curiously waiting for Irene response

“Sure, I’ll come” Irene answer without hesitation

“Alright, Joy said Wendy also come”

“Oh” Irene response dryly

“Are you ok? You don’t talk too much lately” Solar ask concern

“I’m okay, I just thinking too much” Irene rubbed her forehead

“Don’t over think. It’s not good for your health”

“I know but my mind, gosh” Irene groan frustrated

“Share with me” Solar say

“She ask me either I missed her or not” Irene don’t know how to start so she just straight to the point

“Who asked you? Seulgi?”

“Yes, she ask me when she hugging me last week”

“What is your answer?”

Irene fidgeting her fingers “I said I still miss her”

“What did she say then?”

“She said she missed me before I answer her question”

“Oh” Solar nods her head slowly “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure”

“You still have feelings for Seulgi unnie?”

“Honestly, I am still in love with her. I learn to forget her but I fail. Every day, every night I always think about her and longed for her” Irene confess “Do you think she still loves me?” Irene ask

“I don’t know, she’s hard to read. I can’t predict the answer and will give you false hope”

“I’m so pathetic, right?” Irene sighs

“What makes you think like that?”

“Because of my one-sided love, I’m so fools back then. If I know this happens, I’ll not help them this way. I don’t want to see both of them hurt but I hurt myself instead”

“You do your best to help Seulgi and you’re there with her when Wendy cornered her continuously. We indirectly thanked you for always being there for her and understanding her even though you just know her for a few months. Back then, we also see Seulgi slowly fall for you but unfortunately things turn upside down and you both break up. Mr. Bae calls Seulgi to their mansion because he wants to talk about important things. All of them gather at his office room include Bae sisters

“Seulgi-ah, how is your training?” Mr. Bae initiated their talk

“It’s going well, dad. I finish my training 2 week before I return here. They will email my reports to you by next week. If you need it quickly, I’ll tell them to send it soon”

“It’s okay, I can wait”

“Okay dad”

“Seungwan, Joohyun, Yerim…starting from next week Seulgi will join our company again and she will handle our hotels & resorts. These 2 years I sent her to go training at my friend's company about hotel management so I hope you all help her in her work. What past is passed, take it professionally” Mr. Bae said in serious tone

“Good” Mr. Bae smile “Joohyun, next Monday arrange a meeting to introduce her as one of the directors at Four Seasons Group”

“Alright dad” Irene say

“I hope you do well Seulgi-ah. This is the start of your new journey. I believe in you”

Seulgi started working at Four Seasons Group as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. Irene helping her since morning to make sure everything goes well

“Seulgi, what else do you need?” Both of them are inside Seulgi's new office at HQ. Her office located at the same floor with Mr. Bae and his daughters

“Everything is enough for now”

“If you need something, just call me or inform Jennie. I’ll arrange it for you”

Irene sighs “I go back to my office now”

Seulgi notice something wrong and she grab Irene hand before she turn her back “Wait”

“What?” Irene stares at her blankly

“Are you okay? You look drained. Are you tired?” Seulgi unconsciously cupped Irene face

“I’m okay” Irene force smile

“No, you’re not fine” Seulgi shake her head

“I'm just tired, trust me. I don’t have proper rest since last week” Irene said with hoarse voice

“You can rest here” Seulgi pointed at the couch

“I still have few works to do then I’ll take rest”

“Promise?”

“Yes, I promise” Irene smile when she know Seulgi still care about her like before but she don’t want to have false hope

“Okay, you may go” Seulgi release Irene hand

Wendy visited Seulgi’s office a few days later. She haven’t come to see Seulgi since the girl start working because of her hectic schedule

“Hi, how’s work?” Wendy ask

“Everything goes smoothly” Seulgi invite Wendy to seat at the couch and she join her

“Glad to hear that. The H & R team is also happy since their new boss came. I hear they praising you a lot”

“Oh, really?” Seulgi blush

“Yup” both of them giggle “I thought you’ll return to Manchester again”

“Well, I’m returning here for good. My training is finish so if I go again, maybe for vacation”

“So you leave not because of our problem?” Wendy confused

“It was the main reason I left and that time I went to Canada. 3 months later, dad and mom visited me and he said he wanted to send me for training in England so I just followed his order. He keeps monitoring me and sends Jisoo to visit me to make sure I’m fine”

“I’m really sorry for what happened before. If I’m not careless maybe we’re at the next stage now. I learn more from what happened to us. I take it as a good lesson so that I’ll think rationally in future. Seriously, I accept the fact that you’re not my girlfriend anymore and the feeling when I hug you a few weeks before is not the same as before you left. It feels like I'm hugging our friends. Suddenly door open and someone gasp “Oh gosh”

Both of them broke the hug and looked at the door “Joy?”

“Joy, what are you doing here?” Seulgi ask

“Am I disturbing something?” Joy ask worriedly

“No, don’t worry”

“Do you learn to knock on the door before entering?” Wendy glare at her assistant

“I knocked a few times already and I think my knuckle cracked. They said you’re here but no one responds so I just enter to make sure” Joy said

“Whatever” Wendy rolled her eyes “Why do you come?”

“Mrs. Yoon wants to see you 30 minutes from now. She’ll come over so you need to prepare. You know she’s annoying sometimes”

“Aigoo, what that old woman want” Wendy stands from her seat “See you around Seulgi”

“Okay” Wendy leaved the room and Joy gives evil smirk to Seulgi before she follow Wendy

The drunken girl keeps kissing Joy and she tries her best to fight “Hey, why are you doing this? You’re rapping me!!” Joy shouted but Wendy didn't listen. Wendy is so strong for her to fight.

“Unnie…don’t do this to me!” Joy cried but it was useless and too late. Unconsciously her body responds to Wendy touch

Joy opens her eyes slowly. She moved her body then she felt her lower half sore as hell. She turned to her right side and saw Wendy sleeping soundly while wrapping her arm around her waist. What makes her shocked to death is both of them !

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” Joy her megaphone capability. It’s loud enough for whole neighborhood to hear

“Yah, why so noisy?!” Wendy groaned unconsciously and covered her ear

“Yah, what have you done to me?!” Joy punch Wendy shoulder repeatedly

“Joy, what are you doing here?” Wendy finally wake up

“YOU!!” Joy pointed at Wendy eyes scarily “YOU ME, YOU JERK!!” hard slap reach Wendy left cheek

“You wasted last night and you insanely did this to me! Bastard!” Joy bawling

Joy neighbors came out from their house after they heard a high pitched voice scream loudly “Yah, what happened?” Seulgi ask her neighbor

“I don’t know, she must be in danger” Moonbyul said “Let go check” both of them run to Joy house. Since the gate is not lock, it easy for them to enter

“Girls, what happened? I heard scream from here” Solar and Krystal come join them

“We don’t know yet, unnie” say Seulgi

“Joy!” Moonbyul knocked the door while Solar pressed the bell

“Joy, open the door!” Krystal bang the door hardly

“Did someone have her spare key?” Seulgi ask

“I have, I’ll get it” Krystal said and ran to her house. Lisa, Rose and Jisoo also come with panic face

“Unnie, what happened?” Rose ask

“We don’t know. She hasn’t opened the door yet” Moonbyul said.

Krystal comes with the spare key and Moonbyul unlocks the door. They scatter around the house to look for Joy. Lisa stopped in front of the guest room when she heard someone sobbing. She signaled her friends to come quietly. They gasp when they heard conversation between Wendy and Joy

“Wendy Joy?” Solar whispers in disbelief

“That was what they talk about” Lisa said

Seulgi sigh and knock the door after got permission from her friends

“Sooyoung, open the door. This is Seulgi” Seulgi said softly then she heard running footsteps come to the door and open it. Joy appeared with messy hair and a crying face. Hickeys can be seen at her chest. She body just wrapped with the blanket

“Unnie” Joy hugged Seulgi tightly and cried in her embrace. Seulgi at the same time looking at Wendy with blank expression

“You bastard! You think we don’t hear what you say!” Moonbyul go to Wendy and almost punch her face, luckily Rose grabbed her arms

“Don’t punch her, unnie” Rose said while exchange glare with Wendy

Seulgi asks Jisoo, Solar and Krystal to bring Joy to her room to clean and dress up “You dress up. I want to see you at living room in 2 minutes” Seulgi command and leave

“You better don’t run away or I’ll hunt you till the end of the world” Moonbyul said and all of them leave

Everyone sat in the living room. Joy also there after she finishes cleaning herself but she is still in a broken state. Jisoo and Solar comforting her

“What actually happened to you, Wendy? Why do you two end up like this? Tell me honestly” Seulgi started the interrogation. They know if Seulgi addressed their full name, she’s deadly serious

Wendy told everything that she know and everyone still puzzle

“Okay…” Joy spill out the chronology of the incident start from yesterday until this morning

“What do you expect me to do? Nothing will happen so just take it easy. Why did everyone see it as a big problem? She’s not going to pregnant” Wendy fuming

“But you hurt her pride!” Moonbyul gritted her teeth

“You want me to marry her, is it?” Wendy narrowed her eyes

“Definitely” Lisa answer

“I’m not going to do it” Wendy said

“Are you sure?” Seulgi ask

“Yes”

“Okay” Seulgi pull out her phone from her pocket and dialed someone number

“Joohyun, come to Joy house now and bring your parents along. It is urgent matter that we need to settle here…ok…bye” Seulgi put her phone on the table

“Hey, why do you involve my parents here?” Wendy shot icy glare to her ex-girlfriend

“Let them make decision” Seulgi said and everyone silent

10 minutes later, Irene and her parents arrive. They shocked when they saw everyone face look tense while Joy crying and Wendy look angry

“Unnie, what happened?” Yerim ask anxiously

“Mom, dad, I’m sorry if I’m overreacting but this daughter of yours doing something unforgivable” Seulgi said

“What is it, Seulgi?” Mr. Bae curious

“She Joy” Seulgi stated and the Bae gasp

“Is it true? Seungwan!” Irene unconsciously shouted

“Yes” Moonbyul said after Wendy not giving a response. She’ll not forgive Bae family if they don’t ask Wendy to take responsible to Joy

“BAE SEUNGWAN!!” Mrs. Bae roared and slapped Wendy face. She also almost hit Wendy with her purse but Mr. Bae manage to stop her

“Seungwan, daddy don’t expect you do this embarrassing thing” Mr. Bae disappoint after Seulgi told everything happen between Joy and Wendy

“Dad, it's really not a big deal. We’re girls so nothing going to happen” Wendy snort

“Hey! You took her ity without her consent and you still said it was not a big deal! Are you a human?” Lisa lost her patience

“Seriously dad, if these things do not settle well, sorry to say but we’re not forgive her. We can’t tolerate this. It is too much. It’s true that nothing going to happen since they’re same gender but Joy have pride” Seulgi stated bluntly

“Okay Seul, don’t worry. Dad will settle it well but I need to talk to your mom first”

“Okay” Mr. and Mrs. Bae go to the kitchen to talk

Few hours later, they came back and Mrs. Bae glared murderously at her daughter. She sits next to Joy “Joy-ah, don't be sad, ok sweetie? Aunty and uncle will make her take responsibility on what she did to you” Mrs. Bae talk softly and caressed Joy back

“Okay” Joy answer weakly

“After talk with your mom, we decide that you’ll marry her” Mr. Bae said and Wendy jolt up from her seat

“Dad!” Wendy retort

“No objection Wendy, this is your choice. You should responsible on what you had done”

The other girls sighs relief after they heard Mr. Bae decision

“Your wedding will be held 3 week from now. Don’t think of running away or you’ll not come back again. Stop embarrassing our family. Don’t be a troublemaker and bring shame to our family. I’m so enough with your antics” Mrs. Bae said while still soothing Joy

Without uttering any words, Wendy leaves with her car. Irene and Yerim zoned out and speechless after they heard the news. They are also upset at their sister and she really deserves the punishment. It was literally her fault even she unconsciously do it

After everything is settled, Mr. and Mrs. Bae go back to their house. Krystal and Lisa take care of Joy while Jisoo and Solar cook for them. Yerim, Rose and Moonbyul clean the mess in the room. Moonbyul keeps nagging as she is still angry.

Seulgi sits in the living room while staring at Joy. She’s sympathetic to her and she never expects that Joy will end up like this. She remembers that Joy told her about her dream wedding and she wants a green theme but in this state, it is impossible for it to happen. Without her notice, her tears rolled down as she kept staring at lifeless Joy. She wipes her tears and goes out of the house. Everyone startled and Lisa decide to follow Seulgi but Irene stop her

“I’ll go after her” Irene said

Irene goes outside and she sees Seulgi at her house yard sitting there and sobbing. She goes to Seulgi place and joined her

“Seul, are you okay?” Irene ask softly

“I’m okay” Seulgi wipe her tears

“Tell me your problem. Don’t bottle it up”

“I…I just feel sorry for Joy. She ends up in this situation and it is not going as she’s dreamed of. She told me that she wants to marry someone who loves her and she love so much. She wanted everything green for her wedding since it was her big day. She plans this and that for the wedding. She wants the wedding simple and meaningful but what happens to her now is totally opposite with her dream. It’s not going to happen”

“I’m sorry on Wendy behalf” Irene said

“Don’t need to apologize. It is not your fault” Seulgi massage her nose bridge

“Okay” both of them silent “Hey, let make Joy dream comes true”

“How?”

“Let’s plan their wedding as Joy wanted. You know all her preferences, right?”

“Let's be their wedding planner. I’ll ask mom to help us” Irene said excitedly

Lisa shows up at Joy house yard, calling them for lunch “Unnie! Food is ready, let's eat. Rose is hungry now so you two better come quickly”

“Okay!” Seulgi yell back “Let go or the food will finish by Rose” both of them go back to Joy house

Mr. Bae released a statement about his daughter's wedding at their company online bulletin. Everyone is shocked by the news but they’re happy for their CEO and her assistant. However, they don’t know the reason why the wedding happens. They thought both girls are in love with each other since they are working together every day

“Joohyun, where is your sister? I haven't seen her around since morning” Seulgi asked as she plop herself on the chair across to the CEO. Both of them are at Irene office

“She’s still angry and doesn't want to go to work. Mom forces her to eat and stuff but she never leaves her room. You know how stubborn she is. Your ex-girlfriend is a rebel” Irene complaints make Seulgi laugh. She noticed jealousy in Irene answer

“I hope she’ll give cooperation on their wedding day”

“I hope so. How is Sooyoung? Is she okay now?”

“She’s better than yesterday and she has eaten even just a bit. I called her just now and she sounded better. Byul unnie will check her later on lunch time to make sure she not skip her lunch”

“Her family knows about their wedding?”

“She will tell her family about it when she fully recover from her messy state”

“Did you talk to mom about your plan for their wedding?” Seulgi ask

Irene nods before answering the question “I told mom yesterday. Today she will meet with the wedding planner. It’ll be a simple wedding. Only family, our staff and close friends will be invited. No VVIP and not broadcast on any media”

“That’s what Seungwan requested, so I think it matches with Joy's preference. Seungwan lets mom handle everything and it’ll be easy for mom to plan this and that. The CEO rolling her eyes annoyingly “I don’t like it”

“Suit yourself but sometimes what people said opposite with what they think” Seulgi smirk and Irene blushed

“See, you’re blushing” Seulgi giggles

“What is the problem if I’m blushing?” Irene groan

“That’s mean you like my funny side” Seulgi wiggle her eyebrows

“Whatever, I’ll go to my office now. See you later”

“Where will we have lunch?”

“I want to eat street food” Seulgi grin ear to ear

“The last one arrive at the lobby will pay for the food” Seulgi said and leave

At lunch time, Irene rushed to the lobby but she found Seulgi already lazing on the couch with her leg crossed like a boss. She groan as she walk to the couch

15 minutes later, Lisa comes with her girlfriend and they’re holding hand as they walk to her friends

Seulgi bring Yerim to her embrace and pats her back softly “Don’t worry, everything will be fine”

Irene come back from toilet then sit back on her previous chair between Yerim and Seulgi “I reserve table for us so we’ll stay until dinner time” she stated

“No,” Seulgi grinned like an idiot. Moonbyul fake coughs then Rose kicks her shin under the table.

Irene walks forward then helps Seulgi to fold her shirt sleeve properly. She also fixing the other side since it not folded properly “I want to go with you”

“No, I’m free now. Wait for me down at the lobby”

Irene go to her office to get her bag and inform Jennie that she go back early

She doesn't want to see Seulgi's tears. She hurt it because she is the reason of that tears

Seulgi continued after a few minutes “Don’t hurt yourself. Don’t hurt her, mom and dad. Please be happy. I don’t want to see any of you sad after the wedding. If you have a problem, share it with me. We’re cousins after all” Seulgi pats Wendy back softly. She knows Wendy is fragile behind her cold expression and hard-headed. After calm herself from crying, Wendy grabbed her handbag “I’m leaving” she run out of the boutique

“Am I doing the right things?”

“What does it mean?” Irene confused

“Asking Wendy to take responsible on Joy”

“Why? Do you want to back off when the preparation went smoothly?”

“No, I just worry they will be more hurt after this”

“Don’t imagine bad things happening. Just pray so that everything goes well for them. We can’t back off now. Everything is going perfectly. Invitation card was delivered yesterday so just carry on. Hope Wendy don’t turn the ceremony upside down”

“She’ll not embarrassing us, I know” Seulgi said confidently

“I hope so”

“I will not go to HQ tomorrow,” Seulgi stated. She take a glance at Irene who already turning her face to look at her

“Why?”

“I’ll go to Sejong to visit the hotels there and maybe stay for few days”

Irene pouted but Seulgi didn't notice it “But we have a meeting for a new hotel project with the contractors this Thursday. You must come” Irene hope Seulgi cancel her plan to stay at Sejong for few days because she want to see Seulgi everyday

“Oh, I’ll return in the evening”

Irene dances in her mind “I’ll go with you tomorrow. It not safe to drive alone at night”

“Okay” Seulgi smile but Irene doesn’t notice it

“We arrived” Seulgi announce as they arrive at mansion

“Want to stop for a while?”

“No, I’m tired and I want to sleep early. I will come next time”

Irene nods understand “Don’t skip dinner”

“Okay mom” Seulgi joking then Irene pinch her arm

“I’ll go now, good night” Irene want to open the door but Seulgi quickly stop her

“Wait!”

“What?” Irene stares at Seulgi

“You forget something”

“What is it?” Irene check her belonging and everything is at her hands

“Hey, what is it?” Irene lifts up her head to see Seulgi. Suddenly Seulgi lean in and peck her cheek

“You forget that kiss” Seulgi smile amusingly when Irene cheeks turn pink

“Aishh” Irene mumbled and hide her face from Seulgi

“Ayy, why did you blush? Haven't you used to kiss me before?” Seulgi giggles

“It was long time ago”

“You don’t want to kiss me now?” Irene blink her eyes innocently “If you don’t want, I’ll kiss you” Seulgi laughing evilly

“Seulgi~” Irene whined

“What honey?” Seulgi smile teasingly

“Don’t hurt my feeling” Irene voice trembling stopping Seulgi laugh

“I come back to heal the wound in your heart” Irene stares blankly at the girl in front of her “I come back with hope to embrace you again in my arms. I still love you and always miss you. Will you be my girlfriend again?” Seulgi hold Irene hands and the older girl crying

Few minutes of silence and only Irene's sob can be heard. “You’re silent again so shall I take it as rejection again?”

“Are you leaving me again this time?” Irene wiped her tears

“I’ll never leave unless you leaving with me” Seulgi squeeze Irene hand to assure her

“I'm afraid that you will leave again because of a small mistake and I’ll lose myself again. I’m tired, Seul. I’m tired of crying because of the failed relationship” Irene rubbed her face roughly “If you really want me back, please wait until I am ready to open my heart again but if you can’t wait, you may move on. I’m not forcing you. You have rights to decide your own life”

“You reject me this time, huh?” Seulgi sounds upset while Irene just silent “It's okay if you reject me. I just try my luck this time because my hope is to come back to your arms and start a new life with you. You can enter now. I’ll pick you up on 7 tomorrow” with that Irene leave and Seulgi leans her forehead on the steering

Irene lay on her bed while thinking about Seulgi's confession. She did not reject Seulgi. She still loves Seulgi and it never changes. She is still in trauma because of their short relationship. Even though she knows Seulgi means her words, Seulgi is also the reason her heart is broken badly. She trusts her heart to Seulgi but that girl chooses to leave instead of going through hard times together. Seulgi chose to hear others' decisions instead of making her own decision and staying. Besides that, Seulgi also doesn't understand her statement. It is obvious that she is not rejecting her but Seulgi misinterprets her message and makes her own conclusion.

Seulgi comes back with the excuse she is leaving because of her training but she doesn't believe it. She knows everything about the training. If she recalls the day Seulgi leaves, she will scold everyone, especially her parents, because it’s them who want both of them to break up. They only think about Wendy's feelings but they abandon Irene. The problem can settle properly, Seulgi doesn't need to leave but they choose to make it hard. Irene overheard her mom stating her regret when she was admitted at hospital for a month. Mrs. Bae suggests Seulgi to break up with Irene because she wants Wendy to be happy but she does the wrong move and Irene is badly affected instead. That is the reason Irene doesn't listen to her parents and still makes a gap with Wendy. Her parents prioritize Wendy even though the second Bae is a troublemaker. Irene only trusts Yerim who is always holding her back and giving the best advice to her. Yerim is where Irene will go whenever she have problem

Next morning Seulgi fetch Irene at mansion for their visit to Sejong

“Good morning” Seulgi smiling while lean at her car

“Morning” Irene smiles back and Seulgi opens the door. She expect Seulgi treat her coldly after what happen last night but Seulgi look fine so Irene also play along
