Moonbyul, Seulgi and Yerim have lunch at the café near their office. They are working at SM Property Developer

“Dude, why you’re not introduce your wife to us yet?” Moonbyul tapped his fingers on the table

“Byul hyung is right. We want to meet our sister-in-law” said Yerim, supporting Moonbyul

Seulgi sipped his drink “I’ll introduce her to all of you when the time is right”

“Hyung, every day is the right time. Our wives badly want to meet your wife”

“It has been two months since you got married but you still live like a lonely single man. The worst part is you married secretly at your hometown, aigoo” Seulgi chuckled hearing his best friend complaint about he married secretly to his wife

“It’s good enough that I got married before I turned 30. You all always said I’m too late to get married so I ask eomma to find a good woman for me. Eomma was so happy when I told her to find a wife for me. When she found one, we settled down immediately. Look how old Taeyeon hyung is now? He is poor than me”

Moonbyul and Yerim rolled their eyes annoyingly “At least invite us so that we can help anything we could”

“Irene and I have the same thoughts about marriage so it is easy for me to arrange the ceremony. We only invite family members to the church then next day register our marriage” Seulgi grin innocently

Moonbyul massaged his temple “Why haven't you brought your wife to Seoul yet?”

“She still settled her work before resigning. She has already submitted her resignation letter. Now only waiting for approval” said Seulgi

“Hyung, how long did you know noona? Have you two gone out for a date?” Yerim asked

Seulgi tapped his chin “We met a month before we got married and only went out like one or two time. The process is quick and smooth”

“It’s terrible to be your wife, dude. I don’t know what your wife feel inside” Moonbyul sighs

“She don’t have problem with that so far”

“Solar will turn crazy if I do the same thing as your wedding. I think wedding day will be my death day” Moonbyul said

“That's why I have a hard time finding a woman. I worry if we do not get along well. You guys know how bad I am when come to meet new people”

“This can be include as stingy person don’t want to spend money for big day” said Yerim

“He’s really stingy” Moonbyul said

“I can’t help. It’s for good future” Seulgi laughed

“You’re so rich already. You have big house, expensive cars and good career so nothing to worry anymore”

“You’re best architect in SM Property, hyung and get high paid too”

“Both of you are also the best engineers. Your salary also same as mine” Seulgi glare at the duo

“Yeah, right” Moonbyul and Yerim giggle

“Let's go back to the office, I have a meeting after this. Taeyeon hyung is not around today so I have to attend the meeting” Seulgi pull out his wallet to pay for their food

“Where is that single man go?” asked Moonbyul as he almost forgot that their best friend absence

“He said he go back to Jeonju to visit his family”

“Don’t tell me that he secretly married too” Yerim state as he still remember what Seulgi do before

“He don’t have girlfriend, how can he get married” said Seulgi

“Say the one who hide his wedding from us” Moonbyul scoffed and Yerim laughing heartily

“Aishh, let’s go” Seulgi walk to the counter to pay and his friend follow behind

“I’ll visit the site with Seungwan hyung at 3 PM. Weather must be really hot” Yerim scratch his head then he follow Moonbyul and Seulgi to the counter

Kang Seulgi married his wife two months ago but he has not brought her to stay in Seoul yet. His friends always complain because they want to meet his wife. Before this, they keep asking Seulgi to find girlfriend and get married but now they nagging when Seulgi return from his hometown and tell them that he marry a woman that his mother choose for him but his wife still stay in hometown

Mrs. Kang and her husband having tea in the evening while waiting for their daughter-in-law to return home “I wonder why Seulgi not bring his wife to his house at Seoul” Mrs. Kang said

“Maybe he want Joohyun to stay here to take care of us” Mr. Kang answer

“Aigoo, I found a wife for him to take care of him, not to take care of us. That kid really make me headache”

“Relax, sooner or later he’ll bring his wife to stay with him too. Maybe they are in the process of getting to know each other now. Besides, Irene can’t leave her job here”

“How on earth he know about his wife is they stay far away from each other”

“Technology helping a lot these days” Mr. Jung shrugged his shoulder

Red cars pull off at the car porch and their daughter-in-law gets out of that car. Irene shopping grocery at nearby supermarket after leaving her workplace

“Hi appa, eomma”

“Welcome home, Joohyunie” Mrs. Kang quickly helping her daughter-in-law to carry plastic bags

“Aigoo Joohyunie, you must be tired since you just finish working then shopping grocery”

“It’s okay, eomma. I’m not busy today so I have time to shop grocery” Irene said to her mother-in-law. After get all bags from car trunk, they go to the kitchen to cook for dinner

After dinner, Irene watches TV in the living room with her in-law. The elder talks about random topics while she focuses on her favorite drama. Suddenly her phone vibrate on the couch beside her and it was text from her husband

‘Hi wife, how was your day?’ – Seulgi

‘I have a good day today, oppa. What about yours?’ – Irene

‘Mine is good too’ – Seulgi

‘Oppa, my resignation is approved by my boss. My last day duty is next Friday’ – Irene

“Wow, that’s good then. Since you’ll stop working, that’s mean you’ll move to Seoul with me’ – Seulgi

‘Of course, oppa. I’ll start packing my stuff sooner’ – Irene

‘I’ll go home next Friday after working hours and we have to leave on Saturday because my schedule is packed this month. I can’t take a day leave’ – Seulgi

‘It’s okay, oppa. I understand. I’ll tell appa and eomma that you’ll come home next week’ – Irene

‘Sure thing. I got to go now, Hyun. Tomorrow I go to work early so I need to sleep now. See you soon’ – Seulgi

‘See you soon, oppa. I’ll wake you up early tomorrow’ – Irene

‘Okay Hyun. Say hi to appa and eomma. Goodnight my wife’ – Seulgi

Irene smiled when she read the last text from Seulgi. He has been so sweet to her since the first day they became husband and wife. Their meeting process is too short but both of them adapt to each other quickly. They immediately find chemistry as a husband and wife. Even though both of them stay far away from each other, they never miss exchanging texts every day. No matter how hectic his schedule is, Seulgi always has time to text his wife. Same goes to Irene, she’ll call Seulgi every morning to wake him up and remind him to eat his meal. When both of them are free, they will call or facetime to talk about their day. At first it was a little bit awkward but now they get used to it. Their routine video call is on weekends. Their relationship has improved from day to day. Irene calls her husband with endearment ‘oppa’ even though he is younger than her. She feel comfortable calling him ‘oppa’ because it make her feel close to him

“Appa, Eomma”

“Yes Joohyun” Mrs. Kang turn to Irene

“Seulgi oppa say hi to both of you”

“Say hi to him too”

“I’ll move with him to Seoul next weekend since my resignation already approved by my boss”

“Is Seulgi coming or are you going to Seoul alone?”

“Seulgi oppa will come next Friday. He can’t take a day leave because of hectic schedule”

Mrs. Kang groan “Aigoo, that workaholic son”

“That’s good that you stay with him so that you can take care of him. Knowing how busy he can be, I’m worry if you often stay alone at home” Mr. Kang said

“We looked forward to have grandchild soon” Mrs. Kang smiling to Irene

Irene blushing with the mention of grandchild “Eomma~” she whines because the elder teases her. She hasn't thought about having a child yet. She also never talks about that topic with her husband since Seulgi hasn't returned to their hometown after leaving three days after their simple wedding. According to her, they need to talk about that topic during proper conversation

Next Friday, Seulgi goes back to his hometown to fetch his wife and then back to Seoul on Saturday. Mrs. Kang is really happy when Seulgi finally decides to bring his wife to stay with him. She feels sorry at Irene when she need to stay apart from her husband for job sake

After a long journey, they finally arrive at their house in Seoul. Irene lips formed big smile when she see the house as they enter the gate

“Welcome to our house” Seulgi said happily as he pull off at the car porch

“Your house is really beautiful, oppa” Irene examines the place. It looked really cozy and beautiful

“This is our house, not only mine” said Seulgi as he stood beside his wife “You like it?”

Irene turned her face to her husband and smiled widely “I like it so much”

“It’s good that you like it. You said you love gardening, you can plant many flowers here”

“Sure thing, we can make a mini garden” Irene sounds cheerful “By the way, whose car is that? Do you have a housemate?” she pointed at the other car in the car porch

“I don’t have a roommate. I purchased that car for you so that you can go anywhere without riding public transport when I’m not around”

“Oh I see, I thought you have housemate” Irene chuckle

“No way will I bring someone else to stay here with my wife. Let’s go inside, baby” Irene was shocked when Seulgi called her ‘baby’. She quickly calm herself then follow Seulgi entering the house

“Let’s bring your bags to our bedroom” Seulgi leads them to the master bedroom while carrying the luggage and Irene helps with other bags “Here is our bedroom” Seulgi opens the door. Irene jaw drop when she saw the perfect designed bedroom

“Do you design this room, oppa?”

Seulgi chuckle “No, I use interior design service”

“Oh I see” Irene nods her head

Both of them go to walk-in closet at the other side of the room “You change your clothes first then we sit at living room”

“Okay oppa”

“Do you want to eat at the restaurant for dinner or we call a delivery service?” Seulgi noticed it almost dinner time

“You don’t have anything in the fridge?”

“I not shopping for grocery yet”

Irene checks her phone “It's still early. We can shop for groceries now. I’m not in mood to eat at restaurant”

“Sure, let’s go”

Seulgi drove them to a nearby supermarket. For first time in his life, he enjoy grocery shopping

‘I think this is why they asked me to settle down quickly. It feel wonderful even just shopping grocery’ Seulgi dreaming while pushing the cart following his wife

“Oppa, stop dreaming. You almost crash the cart with me” Irene shook her head when she saw her husband smiling like idiot

“Sorry” Seulgi just chuckle

“What do you think about?” Irene asked while choosing vegetables and fruits

“I think about fun grocery shopping with my wife. Usually I’ll complain if eomma ask me to go shopping with her”
