Irene sighs as she stares at her sleeping son in his crib. Her son slept for 20 minutes and she was still standing there staring at him with sad eyes.

"Baby, mommy gives up now. I'm sorry, okay?" Irene sobbed lightly

(Flashback 2 days ago)

Irene opens their bedroom door slowly because her baby is already sleeping. She thought that her husband was also sleeping so she didn't want to disturb them. However, she overheard her husband talk with someone on the phone so she listened to the conversation through the door gap

"Jisoo, did you found her already? ...really! ...Wow, thanks Jisoo. Thank you very much. I owe you...I'll meet her as soon as possible. I missed her so much. Well, you know she leaved without telling me...I'll tell Joohyun that I will be on business trip for few days...Don't worry, she don't know unless you tell her...just avoid yourself from meeting her then everything will be okay...aish, I don't want to talk about her. What is important now is I finally know where Sunmi is. I can't wait to see her...Okay, thanks again. Bye"

After the conversation ended, Seulgi tugged the comforter and lay on the bed with a wide smile plastered on his face. He don’t noticed his wife presence due to happiness

Irene covered with her hand as she burst out her tears. She knew her husband still love his ex-girlfriend even both of them are married for a years now. When Seulgi propose her to be his wife, she thought Seulgi really love her. She also know about Seulgi’s past relationship with Lee Sunmi, his senior in university. Even though Seulgi treat her well but small piece of Seulgi’s heart still beating for Sunmi. She used to witness Seulgi kissing Sunmi in front of their house. She clearly see Sunmi resist but Seulgi is stubborn. They fight few times because of the same issue. When she pregnant, she think Seulgi will change but not even after their child born. Seulgi still in love with that woman.

Seulgi packs his clothes happily because he's excited to see Sunmi. He's happy when his best friend said he successfully tracked Sunmi’s location. As he finished putting his clothes inside his suitcase, his wife steps inside their room with their son in her arms. Irene sits on the bed edge while looking at her husband

"Where are you going this time?" Irene asked without any emotion showed in her face

"I'll go to Beijing" Seulgi sit beside his wife and pick his son to his arms

"How long?"

"Few days or a week, depends on the program"

"Okay"

"I'll miss you and Jaehyun badly" he said while peppered his little son with kisses

"Hm" Irene fake her smile. She don’t have mood to talk with Seulgi knowing the reason behind his big smile

Irene sits on the living room while staring at the wall. She think either she made a right decision or not. She wanted to leave Seulgi to give him the happiness and freedom that he deserved. His happiness is with Sunmi and freedom to live his life with the person that he loves the most. She thought, if she leave her husband, she'll feel guilty to her son because he will grow up without his father but if she still stay with Seulgi, it'll suffocating her seeing Seulgi keep thinking about other woman instead of his own family. Everything is complicated

"Haish, why is this life so hard for me?" Irene pulled her hair and groaned. She smiled when she saw her son giggling while watching cartoons on TV.

"Jeffrey Kang" Irene mumbled her son's English name that she gave to him "Mommy loves you so much. Please forgive mommy if one day you grow up without daddy. Mommy does this for your happiness. Mommy is not happy, really but what is important now you have good life even daddy is not with us anymore"

Then she looked at the wall clock, the time almost 4 PM. Seulgi said he's on the way home. She made up her mind; she'll leave with her son.

She heard the front door click open and she knew her husband had arrived. Seulgi walk towards them and his expression is unreadable

"Welcome home" Irene smile shortly

"How are you and baby Jaehyun?" Seulgi brings his son to his laps and makes him stand. Jeffrey giggling as he saw his father and it break Irene heart because after this the little boy will separate with his father

"We're fine. How about you?"

"Not really, a bit tired but now tiredness is gone after seeing you and Jaehyun" Seulgi smiled

"That's good then" Irene rolled her eyes. She want to whack Seulgi head for be a good liar in front of their son

Few while later "Go wash up first. I want to cook our dinner" Irene said

"Who'll look after Jaehyun?" Seulgi kissing his son again and again

"He can stay in his crib. Don't worry, he'll play alone here. I feed him already"

"Okay then" Seulgi put his son inside the crib and go upstairs to take shower while Irene go to kitchen to prepare dinner

"Seulgi, why are you so clingy tonight?" Irene is curious because Seulgi's hand is wrapped around her waist and hugging her like he's so in love with her. It feels so awkward because Seulgi rarely do it to her

“I miss you so that's the only reason" Seulgi kissed Irene temple

"I guess you have something behind your sleeve that make you're so clingy like this"

Seulgi turn Irene body to face him "I want you" he wink and smirk

"What do you want?"

"I want you. It has been while since we made love so I want you badly tonight, baby" Seulgi said and carry Irene on bridal style to their bed

“Hm, we just did it the night before you went abroad. Don’t forget that you not stop until I totally lost energy” Irene rolled her eyes

Seulgi chuckle "It is a portion from last week. Now I want to claim the time when I’m away. Don't make loud noises or you'll wake Jaehyun. I don’t want him to disturb mommy and daddy making his sibling" Seulgi proceed to make love with his wife. Irene willingly give herself to her husband and she consider it as goodbye

Irene wake up at 5 in the morning and she slowly hop down the bed so that Seulgi not disturbed. She take quick shower and dress up quickly without making any noise. Seulgi still sleep soundly on the bed. 30 minutes later, she finished prepare herself and then pick up her son who also still sleeping. She carefully hugged him and left the room. Then she fished out her phone and make phone call to her friend

"Yul oppa, are you here already?"

"Yes, I'm in front of your house already"

"Okay"

Irene hung up the phone and went out. Seeing Irene open the front door, Yuri comes to assist her

"Where is your stuff?" Yuri asked

"Still inside the house. Oppa, hold Jeffrey for me. I'll go get our bags" Irene said and passed her son to Yuri. After that she ran to her house and got her suitcases. She quickly left and put everything inside the car trunk. Before enter the car, she looked at her house for last time and sighs sadly

"I love you, daddy. Trust me, I always do but I'm sorry. This is for our happiness…your happiness to be exact. Goodbye husband" Irene wipes her tears and enters the car.

"Joohyunie, are you okay?" Yuri asked

"I'm okay, oppa" Irene answer with hoarse voice

"You don't regret your decision?"

"I hope I'm not, oppa. I have been patient with him since we're married but now I give up. I don't want my son grow up seeing his father go after other woman"

"I felt sorry for you and Jeffrey. If Taeng not stopping me, I already punch his face so that he learn some lesson”

"It’s okay, oppa. I'm sorry for troubling you this early in the morning”

"Don't be sorry, I just help as much as I can. I’m upset when I saw your husband keep chasing Sunmi even when you're pregnant with his son and also after Jeffrey was born. Sunmi rejects him but he doesn't care. I don't know why he would marry you if he really loves that woman. Frankly speaking, this is not yours or Sunmi’s fault but it was Seulgi fault for making your life miserable"

"I also don't know why he chose me. If just both of us and no Jeffrey, maybe I still can stay and hope he'll see me as his wife but he never changes. I'm very sorry to my son so this all I can do"

"I know Jeffrey will understand when he grow up one day seeing his daddy is not around"

"I hope so" Irene kissed her son cheek

"Yoona waiting for you at the airport. She'll accompany you"

"Doesn't she say she's busy?"

"She has a meeting in San Francisco so I suggest that she go with you today. We can't let you go alone with Jeffrey"

"Thanks so much, oppa"

"No problem. I hope I'll see you again with your cheerful smile also Jeffrey grow healthily and cute"

"Tell me when you go to the US. We'll see you there"

"Alright"

After 40 minutes of driving, they finally arrive at the airport. Yoona is already waiting for their arrival at the entrance. She quickly helps Irene with her suitcases since she just brought a backpack.

"Be healthy, okay? Don't think too much. Take care of yourself and Jeffrey. I'll visit if I'm free. Say hi to Taeng and Tiffany" Yuri caressed Irene's hair and pecked Jeffrey's forehead. The little boy already wake up and he's really happy seeing something new around him

"Okay oppa. See you again" Irene hugged Yuri

"Take care and be happy”

"Let's go, our flight announced already" Yoona said

"Take care of them, Yoong"

"Okay boss!" Yoona saluted playfully and they laughed. Little Jeffrey also giggled when he saw his mom laughing. Yoona pinched his chubby cheek, made him laughed more and showing his little dimples on his cheeks

Seulgi wake up on 8 in the morning. He turned his to his side and find out the other side is empty. He opened his eyes and stretched his body then sit down. His son crib also empty. He think both of them are at living room. He put on his short pant and walked to living room but he confused when he don’t see anyone at living room. After that, he go to the kitchen but also don’t see his wife and son

"Where is Joohyun going?" Seulgi scratch his head then walk back to bedroom

He took his phone from the bedside table and dialed Irene’s number but the call entered the mailbox. Suddenly he felt uneasy because Irene never turn off her phone

He walked to dressing table and saw a letter with Irene handwriting on it

Good morning,

As you read this letter, Jaehyun and I already left our house and your life to be exact. Sorry for leaving you without saying goodbye but I can't say it directly you. This letter is my goodbye for you. Since we're married, I know your heart is not completely for me or can I say it never belong to me? I know Seul, even you're at home, your mind always flying somewhere. I don't know why you marry me when you're in love with someone else. I'm not regret marrying you but I regret giving my love and myself to you. Thanks because if not because of you, I'll not having Kang Jaehyun, the greatest gift in my life. He's the precious gift from you. Don't worry, I'll not tell him that his father toying his mommy feeling and his father rarely spend time with him ever since he born to this world. Seulgi cried his heart out as he finished reading the letter. Right now he realized how much he abandoned his wife and his son just to chase after the person who never loved him back. He truly ungrateful person in this world

He stayed in the bedroom for the rest of the morning. He missed his wife and his son so much but everything was too late. Both of them disappear from his life like dust. He feels like he's useless person right now for hurting his wife

After calming himself down, he washed up and sat in the living room while staring at his son and his wife's picture that hung on the wall. He hopes a miracle happens and both of them come back to him. Suddenly, doorbell ring and he quickly run to open it with hope that will be the person that he waiting for but it turn out other people who come to visit them

"What with that face?" Joy asked as she saw her brother face looked gloomy and puffy

"Is there something wrong? Where are Joohyun unnie and baby Jeff?" asked Jennie. She is Jisoo fiancé while Joy engaged to Kim Yerim

"Both of them leaving me" Seulgi slump his body on the couch

"Ayy, we're serious" Jennie said

"I'm serious, Jen. They left this morning. When I woke up, this house was already empty. Joohyun just left a letter on the table saying that she is leaving with Jaehyun. They will not come back" Seulgi massage his temple

"Hyung, is it true?" Yerim pop out from nowhere follow by Jisoo then they sit on the couch

"Yes, it's true" Seulgi give the letter to Joy so they can read what she wrote

"She knew about you and Sunmi noona?" Jisoo said after read the letter

"Yes"

"How did she know?"

"I also don't know"

Joy sighed "Oppa, I told you already. Don't think about Sunmi anymore but you're stubborn. It's clear that Sunmi don't want you but you make yourself blind. You force her to love you back. We thought you change after marry Joohyun unnie but you still go after other woman. I'm not really shock if unnie know about all of this. She have rights to take any action. She's not a dead tree. She is enough with your antics. Anyone in her position will do the same too”

"I know it's my fault" Seulgi said weakly. He's on verge of crying after his sister state matter-of-fact

"When will you look for them?" Jennie asked

"I don't know"

"Let her have space for herself. She's hurt enough. It is not easy for her to forget. One day, you'll meet both of them again" Jisoo pats Seulgi shoulder softly

"Okay"

"Hyung, have you eaten anything since morning?" Yerim asked

"No"

Yerim looked at his fiancé "Dear, can you make food for us? Jisoo hyung and me also haven't eat anything" Jisoo and Yerim showed their puppy eyes

"These two are taking advantage" Jennie pinch Jisoo waist

"Honey, its hurt" Jisoo whimper

"We're really hungry" the younger guy said again

"Okay, we’ll cook" Joy and Jennie go to the kitchen to cook for lunch

Later, Yerim goes to the kitchen to drink water. He sits on the stool at kitchen counter

"What can we do, Seulgi oppa himself made his family broken. If he listen to me, this thing will never happen" Joy said while chopping onion

"Honey" Yerim poked Joy shoulder playfully

"What if I do the same as Seul hyung, will you run away too?" he asked

"If you have plan to do it, you can try then I call off our engagement or if you do the same after we're married, I'll chop your private part then give you to eat"

Yerim's eyes widened while Jennie laughed heartily "Honey, you don't want to have a child?" Yerim pouted

"Of course I want"

"But you want to chop my private part" Yerim cover his crotch

"If you behave like jerk to me, I don't care if we don't have one because what point of having playboy father that leaving family behind just to please himself with other woman" Joy stated seriously

"You better be careful Yerim" Jennie laughed

"Noona, you also need to do the same with Jisoo hyung" Yerim said

"Of course I'll do the same. I heard both of you went to a nightclub last weekend. I haven't punished him yet because he behaved well this week. I told him don’t go to that place anymore but he's deaf"

"Oh, you go to the club again?" Joy glare at Yerim while poking the sharp knife on the chopping board

"Sorry honey, it'll be the last time" Yerim trembling in fear

"If you go again, I'll not tolerate" Joy took the carrot then harshly chop it making Yerim have cold sweat

"Noted honey" Yerim heaves relief sighs

"Go now before I change my mind"

"Okay" Yerim run leaving the kitchen

"Aigoo, you're so scary" Jennie giggle

"I don't want him to be influenced by Seulgi oppa virus, that's why I never go easy with him in certain cases. Yerim is very curious and easily influence so I have to be strict on him"

"I hope everyone will change and learn from Seulgi family failure" said Jennie

"Of course he still has not moved on. You see he has lost weight since unnie left him. He also still going around looking for them even though he know the chance for him to found them is small" said Joy

"Hm, it's been over a year since unnie and Jeff leave. We haven't heard any news about them. They hide well" Jennie sighs softly

"Jaehyun also two years old already, right?" said Jisoo

"Yes, his second birthday is six months ago" Joy answer

"Hm, he must be grown up now" Yerim smiled

Seulgi arrived and joined them "Sorry guys, I'm late"

"It's okay, bro" Yerim pats Seulgi shoulder

"Seul oppa, we receive invitation to wedding ceremony next weekend" Jennie said
