Yerim run to living room after her grandfather calling her. She climbs on up the couch and sit beside him

“Your daddy” Mr. Bae give his phone to Yerim

The little girl face brighten as she accept the phone and saw her dad face on screen. It has been 2 days since Seulgi is abroad and she missed her dad so much

“Hello daddy”

“Hi baby, how are you?”

“I’m fine. Daddy, when you will come back?” Yerim pouting

“Daddy will be home this Friday. Do you miss daddy?”

“Yes, I miss you so much”

Seulgi smile “Aww, daddy miss you too honey. Where is mommy?”

“Mommy is upstairs” Yerim said nonchalantly

“Why you don’t call daddy with mommy phone and she not answer her phone when daddy called her just now?”

Yerim sigh “Maybe mommy still upset”

“What’s wrong?”

“Mommy scolded me yesterday” Yerim said quietly

“Really?”

“Yes, she doesn’t talk to me since yesterday” Yerim looked sad make Seulgi worry. They never fight this bad before and Joohyun will never ignore Yerim

“Do you apologize?”

Yerim nods “Yes but she still upset”

Seulgi getting worry “Can you bring this phone to mommy? Daddy wanted to talk to her”

“Daddy…she don’t want to talk to me”

“Just tell her daddy want to talk to her, okay?”

“What if she scolds me again?”

“Daddy is here for you, honey. Don’t scare”

“Okay” Yerim give in and walk upstairs

Yerim go to Joohyun’s study and knock the door softly. After a minute, Joohyun open the door

“What?” she asked coldly

“D…daddy want to talk…to you” Yerim stutter as she still afraid of her mother

“Okay” Joohyun took the phone from Yerim then she close the door again

She settle on the chair and stare at Seulgi that watching her with dejected look. He is not pleased with what he just heard and saw

“What?” Joohyun asked

“What’s wrong with both of you? You not answered my calls and texts. You are cold to Yerim just now” Seulgi interrogate

Joohyun rolled her eyes “I’m very busy that’s why I not respond to you”

“Then what’s wrong with you and Yerim? She said you scold her”

“Did she tell you why I’m upset at her?”

“No, I want you to tell me”

“She broke my laptop screen yesterday that’s why I’m upset”

“Aigooo, you can just fix it. Don’t need to be so strict to her. She don’t mean it” said Seulgi

“Of course I am angry, my urgent documents are all inside that laptop and I need them for current project”

“Don’t tell me you don’t have backup”

“I don’t have”

Seulgi scratch his head “It just broke the screen, right?”

“Yes”

“I will ask my friend to fix it for you”

“I don’t know if it is fixable. It broken badly” Joohyun turn the camera to the broken screen of her laptop

“Then I will get a new one for you”

“Hmm, just ask your friend to fix it. I need my documents inside”

“I will send it to his shop this weekend”

“How long will it take?”

“Depend on the problem”

Joohyun sigh again “Tell him to make it quick”

“I will try” Seulgi nods

“Okay”

“Joohyun”

“Emm”

“Don’t mad at her anymore, okay? She is still kid. She didn’t mean it. I’m sorry on her behalf. Please make it up with her. I want both of you in good term when I come back”

“You spoiled her a lot”

“She is my other half” Seulgi grin “Cool down, okay? Talk softly to her”

“Alright, will do later” Joohyun said

“Good, I have to go now. See you soon”

“Seulgi”

“Yup?”

“Thank you” Joohyun smile

“No problem” Seulgi smile back

“Bye”

“Alright, bye”

Joohyun return the phone to her father then she goes to Yerim room. The kid lay her stomach on her bed while hugging her tiger printed pillow, cover her face with it. Even Joohyun still not agree with the tiger stuff but she not gets rid of it as it is a gift from Seulgi to Yerim. She sits on the bed edge then prop her arm on the bed, checking Yerim

“Honey, are you sleeping?” she asked tenderly

Yerim turn around with red and puffy eyes “Mommy~” she is crying

“Baby, why are you crying?” Joohyun scooped Yerim to her arms and hugging her. Yerim return the hug and rest her head on Joohyun shoulder. She still sobbing softly while grip on her mother shirt

“Mommy, I’m sorry…I don’t mean to break your laptop”

Joohyun tapping Yerim back softly “Mommy forgives you already. I’m sorry too because I ignore you. Don’t cry again, okay? Mommy is here now”

“Thank you mommy”

“I love you, my baby” Joohyun kissed Yerim temple

“I love you too mommy”

“No more crying, your eyes are puffy now” Joohyun wipe Yerim tears

“I missed you and daddy” Yerim rest her forehead on Joohyun shoulder

“Daddy will be back soon. We will pick him up at the airport. Don’t sad anymore”

“Okay mommy” Yerim mumble

“Do you want to sleep at mommy’s room tonight?”

“Yes, can you hug me to sleep?”

“Of course, let’s go” Joohyun pick her daughter up and carry her to her bedroom next door. Yerim is so clingy since she missed her mother badly. She not letting go of her mom entire night

“Daddy!” Yerim chirped from backseat. Currently both of them are heading somewhere

“Yes sweetie” Seulgi looking at his daughter through rear view mirror

“Are we going to pick mommy?”

“Yes, we will make surprise visit to her office then we have lunch together”

“Yay!”

“Don’t be naughty at her office later, okay?”

“Okay daddy!” Yerim continued “Are we meeting grandpa too?”

“No, your grandpa is out of town today. We will just meet with mommy”

Yerim pouting “I miss grandpa already”

Seulgi chuckle “You can meet him when he comes back”

They arrived at the office building. The staff not surprise seeing them since they used to come few times and Yerim also often come with Joohyun when she need to get something from her office. Everyone still excited to meet the little girl like it is her first time coming. They know Yerim is daughter of Joohyun’s brother.

Joohyun decide to return to work when Yerim is 3 years old but she prefer to work from home since she want to take care of Yerim. She will just go to office for urgent business only. Up till now, everything goes smoothly for her and her staff. Yerim also behave when she know her mom is working. She will just do her own thing or watching TV after her mom feed her. When Joohyun needed at office, Seulgi will take a day off for Yerim unless he also busy then Yerim will sent to her grandparents house

Seulgi and Yerim walk hand in hand inside the building. They greeted by the staff that passing by them. Yerim also greet them back politely as Seulgi and Joohyun taught her about manner. She smile to everyone and bow her head when necessary

When they exit the elevator, Yerim drag her daddy out because she excited to meet her mommy. She keep scolding her daddy for walking slowly according to her

“Daddy, walk faster” Yerim whine every now and then

“Baby relax, mommy will not going anywhere” said Seulgi as he let his daughter dragging her

Suddenly they hear a familiar voice. They look at the voice direction and there is Joohyun just come out from her office while talking to someone. Yerim quickly let go of Seulgi hand and strode to her mother

“Mommy!” she hollered all the way to Joohyun

“Kang Yerim?” Joohyun creased her brow as she hear Yerim voice but still don’t see the owner because she is hidden by the cubicle due to her shortness

Finally Yerim appear and sprint to her mother. She circle her arms around Joohyun waist “Mommy~” she whimper

“Baby, what are you doing here?” Joohyun caressed Yerim cheek

“I come to take you out to eat”

“Where is daddy?”

“Daddy walk too slow” Yerim complained “Mommy, who is this?” she glare at the guy beside her mom

“He is mommy’s friend, Park Sooyoung. Say hi to him”

Sooyoung bend down and smile to the little girl “Hi” he hold out his hand for handshake. Instead of accept Sooyoung hand, Yerim shift a little bit and bite his hand. Sooyoung unconsciously yell because of the pain “OUCHHH” he’s looking at bite mark on his hand

“Kang Yerim!” Joohyun pull her girl away from Sooyoung. She picked Yerim up before she getting aggressive

Seulgi who just arrived, look at them curiously “I heard some noise, what happen?”

“Yerim just bite Sooyoung hand” Joohyun answer Seulgi question but glare at Yerim who also glare at Sooyoung

Seulgi gasped “Baby, why are you doing that to uncle? You’re hurting him”

“He is flirting with mommy”

The adults jump in shock “Yah, where did you learn that?” Joohyun asked in shocked “Kang Seulgi?” she looking at the father

“I don’t know anything, trust me” Seulgi defend himself

“He’s holding your hand earlier mommy” Yerim still unsatisfied. She determine to attack him again if her mom not pick her up

“He just shakes my hand” said Joohyun

“They do that on TV. Daddy will angry if he saw him hold hand with you” Yerim stated innocently

Seulgi jaw dropped because of his child “Yerimie, what had you learn, honey? You watched drama a lot these days” he rubbing his chest

“Yah, you shouldn’t watch TV a lot after this. It gives negative effect to you” said the mother

“Stop generating rumor Yerim. Why would daddy angry?” Seulgi massage his temple “Sooyoung-ssi, I’m very sorry for what my daughter had done” he bow his head. He is really embarrassed right now

“It’s okay Seulgi-ssi. I don’t take it to my heart. She just a kid” Sooyoung said sincerely “You really hand protective daughter here and beautiful wife”

Hearing that, Joohyun and Seulgi froze. Seulgi clean the misunderstanding quickly “Sooyoung-ssi, Yerim is our daughter but Joohyun is not my wife”

“Really? I thought you two married”

“No…not yet…” both of them suddenly chuckle

Sooyoung wink to Seulgi jokingly “Alright, it’s good to see you here Mr. Kang. Joohyun talk a lot about you and your daughter except the part that you two not married. See you guys again”

Seulgi smiling like idiot “Sure thing, good to see you too” they shake hands

“Joohyun, got to go now. See you around”

“Okay, say hi to Yerin” Joohyun said then Sooyoung answer with okay sign

They watching Sooyoung walk to elevator. Yerim is calm down in her mommy arms

“What a scene” Seulgi sighs

“Yerim is really something” said Joohyun “Let’s get inside. I want to fix my stuff and get my bag”

“Yeah”

“Yerim, what do you want to eat?” Joohyun asking Yerim who busied herself reading the menu even she don’t know anything that written there

She saw a picture of burger and fries “Mommy, I want burger!”

“Nope”

Yerim looking at her daddy, asking for support “Daddy, I want to eat burger”

Seulgi clear his throat “Hmm, burger look delicious too”

“Junk food again, seriously both of you” Joohyun groan

“Mommy please” Yerim shake her mom arm

“We just ate pizza few days ago. You should stop eating that kind of food for a while”

“Just this time, please” Seulgi also begging. Both of them showing puppy eyes with hope Joohyun will green light

“Please mommy~”

Joohyun sighs while looking at them “With few conditions”

“What is it?”

“No junk food until end of this month. Must eat veggies in daily meal, ice cream just once a week and no coca-cola, deal?”

Seulgi scrunch his nose “Aigooo, just a serving of burger need to have few conditions”

“No burger if you two don’t want to deal with that” Joohyun said sternly

“Daddy, what to do?” Yerim asked

“Okay, we agree” Seulgi said
