Joy loved to listen to Wendy’s voice.  It truly was one of a kind, so when she heard Wendy singing outside Red Velvet’s dorm, Joy stopped to listen.

It was late and Joy had been on her way home from the local convenience store.  She figured everyone was asleep, but Wendy was known to go out on the balcony and sing at night.  Some nights Joy would open the window in her room and just lean against it, listening to Wendy’s amazing voice.

Joy leaned against the side of the building, opting to listen from outside.  The lyrics were in English, but from what she understood, it was a beautiful song.

I got lucky, finding you

I won big the day that I came across you

Joy felt that the lyrics perfectly described her feelings for Wendy.  While she had been rejected, she found that her feelings were even more stubborn than she was.  Despite how horrible Joy felt after the rejection, nothing changed.  Wendy was still the same charming woman she was before, her kindness left Joy’s heart warm and even gave her a little hope.

Joy giggled a bit as she began to imagine Wendy singing those lyrics to her.  Her honey-like eyes full of love, just looking at Joy... it made her feel extremely giddish.  She twirled a bit, smiling up at the sky like a fool.
