Alessandra watched as the festivities started, she had greeted Suho’s parents earlier and had no choice but to return to their table.

Luckily, the guys were busy watching as the bride and groom took the stage to thank the guests for coming.

And all the WongShen lady wanted was just to go home. Her eyes went to her sibling, she started to contemplate.

I should just let him take the car.

“Lucas,” She spoke, which she realized was a big mistake, now all eyes were on her.

“Noona?”

“I—I need to go first, here.” She stretched her palm towards him, Baekhyun paused and gently took the car key from her and handed it to Lucas.

Lucas blinked at his sibling.

“I’m needed at work. Don’t stay out too late.” She said before standing up.

“How will you go then? A cab?” Lucas was scandalized, Alessa mentally winced.

Just let me go already!

“It’s getting a little dark outside.” Baekhyun commented, she could already feel Chanyeol and Jaehyun looking at her.

“Jie, can’t it wait? It’s a weekend and~”

“I really need to go.” She said as she stood up and grabbed her purse.

Lucas eyed her warily, Alessandra shrugged at him.

“I came with a driver,” Chanyeol suddenly spoke up. Alessandra balked and shook her head.

What a nice stranger. Not.

“I can ask him to~”

“It’s fine, I’m going.” She muttered with finality before brisk walking towards the doors.

Lucas set the paper down as soon as he heard his sister step in the dining room. Alessa made her way across him and sat down.

She asked for her coffee and took her copy of the day’s paper.

“What happened to you last night? Were you feeling sick?” Lucas asked in Mandarin, she looked up.

“A little, maybe…jetlag?” She replied coolly, Lucas didn’t buy it. He eyed his sister with curiosity, then his eyes lit up.

His sister was so red last night, and she wasn’t drinking.

The great Alessandra Wong has no known allergies.

She was blushing.

“Ha!” Lucas blurted out, Alessa looked at him oddly.

“Noona, you were blushing last night.” He hummed as he lifted his plate of pancakes and sat down beside her.

“I wasn’t. It was just~”

“Hot. Right.” Lucas rolled his eyes, Alessa winced and shook her head at him.

“Lucas, drop it~”

“I wont, hmm, judging from last night,” Lucas drummed his fingers on the table, Alessa sighed.

“Baekhyun hyung isn’t your type, Chen hyung too. You’re not exactly the type to~”

“Drop it.” She said as the butler came back with her coffee. Lucas started to grin.

“It must be Chanyeol hyung.” Lucas laughed, she glared at him.

“Noona, you rarely crush on someone, we should celebrate.” He said teasingly, which earned him a slap on the arm.

“Shut that~”

“Too bad, it will probably just last for a week, knowing you.” Lucas nodded to himself, totally set on ignoring his sister.

“Good thing you know.” Alessa said.

“So, you do admit it!” Lucas laughed, she groaned and stood up.

“If you don’t want to be late for school, finish your breakfast.” She muttered before heading back to the study, Lucas grinned to himself.

Chanyeol got off his motorbike and glanced at his secretary who was already waiting for him.

“It’s today, sir. I already have the car prepared.” He said to the executive politely, Chanyeol’s brows rose.

“The cultural center, with WongShen Group.”

“Right,” He set his helmet down and walked towards the waiting Bentley, he got in the backseat and immediately picked up the leather envelope across him.

“It has been said that they have a new managing boss, they explained that it might be a little difficult to keep on meeting her because of the sudden changes in the company, but rest assured, they are seriously focused on the project.”

Chanyeol nodded and took out the documents, his eyes zeroed on one particular name on the paper.

“The vice president, she~”

“Ah, yes, Alessandra Wong.” His secretary nodded, Chanyeol grew amused and he let out a chuckle.

“Sir? Do you know her?”

“Well, a little.”

“I called their office, we wont be needing a translator, VP Wong can speak~”

“I know that, I met her a Suho hyung’s wedding.”

“Ah, really? Then how is she? There’s a lot of rumors about her.”

Chanyeol smiled to himself and leaned back on his seat.

“I don’t know…She’s a little…odd.”

“Did you see this?” Jaehyun asked as he placed his phone on the desk, Lucas was reading his textbook, trying to catch up on some class work.

“What?”

“A project together.” He said, Lucas’s girlfriend, Ahee took a peek on Jaehyun’s phone.

“Oh, it’s your jie.” She spoke, Lucas nodded while taking down notes. Jaehyun took out a bag of chips and started to eat.

“Right, jie asked me to invite you over for dinner.” Lucas spoke again.

“Me? Why?” Ahee was terrified, seeing her reaction, the two males laughed.

“I want to introduce you to the family.” Lucas peeled his eyes away from his notes and smiled at her. Ahee grimaced, remembering the day she first met his sister.

“She was just in a rush that day, that’s how she is when it comes to work.” Lucas said and playfully tugged on the sleeve of her shirt.

“Well, I gues…I can..make time for that.” She murmured, unsure. Lucas thanked her and kissed the side of her head before picking up Jaehyun’s phone.

“You were saying, hyung?” He spoke as he looked at the screen and then he started to laugh.

“What’s so funny?” Ahee asked him, Lucas was trying to catch his breath.

“Lotte and WongShen are working together!” He spoke, Jaehyun scratched the back of his head.

“Yeah, I don’t see why…you’re laughing though.” He replied, Ahee just blinked at him.

Lucas shook his head and took a long sip from his soda.

“I can’t wait to see the great Alessandra Wong later.” He murmured in Mandarin before going back to his notes.

Alessa got inside her office, she set her purse down on the desk and flexed her neck slowly.

“Vice president, your meeting will be in twenty minutes. The people from Lotte Holdings are already downstairs.”

“Good, is the conference room prepared?”

“Yes, did you see the email I sent you? It took me quite a while to get data on their directors, but I got records regarding the vice chairman that will be working with you.”

“I’ll read it later, what about the update I asked from marketing?” She said as she took her phone from her purse and proceeded to exit the office.

“They..asked if you could extend the deadline to tomorrow, vice president, it’s been~”

“This afternoon. If they can’t do it, they can clear their offices by tomorrow.” Her answer was simple, the male nodded.

“What about finance? I requested them to investigate the books.” She said as she started to refresh her Gmail app. They reached the conference room and the girl walked in, she walked to her side. The other two WongShen Korea stood up to greet her politely.

“They will be sending it this morning, along with the other materials you asked for.”

“Good.” She nodded as she took her seat, her emails had loaded. She opened the one from her secretary and waited for the attachment to open.

Then she heard the doors open, she stood up without looking up. A flurry of voices and greetings surrounded her, and then the attachment finally popped open.

Her eyes widened as the name underneath a still loading photo appeared.

It can’t be.

There are a lot of Park Chanyeols in Seoul.

I’m not being played like this, right?

And then she heard it, that voice. 

She unwillingly looked up, and her tummy did that thing again.

“It’s nice to see you again, vice president Wong.” He said with a pleasant smile and stretched his hand towards her.
