Dylan flinched as the seatbelt saved him from slamming his forehead against the car’s interior, Alessa was driving full speed and had given zero s for the other vehicles on the road.

“Hurry.” She said as she slid down from the car and padded towards the entrance, the bouncers didn’t even try to block her as soon as they saw the girl.

Dylan sighed and took her purse from the backseat before following the girl.

Alessa made her way towards the entrance and noticed that the other customers weren’t drinking or enjoying, instead they were all watching the crowd by the bar.

“You rich brats think you run everything.” A tall bulky male was standing over someone, Alessa scanned the bar hastily, she halted when she saw her brother, Jaehyun and Ahee watching the scene with interest.

Lucas was even sipping on a chocolate milkshake.

What the hell?

“We don’t think we do. We do run it.” A familiar voice replied, Alessa turned back to the scene, it was Kai, he had a busted lip and it was obvious that he already had a little too much to drink.

“Alessa-ssi!” Baekhyun was stunned to see her, she sighed before blocking the bulky male’s view of Kai.

“Stop this. He’s drunk.” She said to him, the male’s eyes went to her and he smirked.

“Do you even know what your rude friend did? He couldn’t even say a simple apology!” He yelled at her face, Alessa remained calm, unaffected.

“Y—Ya, Alessa~” Ahee choked on her drink, Lucas slid down from his seat and made his way towards his sibling.

“Honestly, I don’t want to hear it, but please stop hitting him. It might backfire on you too.” Alessa noticed that the male was holding onto an empty beer bottle.

Okay, I did not think this through.

She turned her head slightly, Kai was wobbling on his feet.

“Are you threatening me right now?” The male cackled, and then his eyes roamed around her body. Alessa swallowed, she was about to step back when the man yanked her forward.

“Hmm, but I find it kind of y, you standing up for your friend~” Alessa was about to react when the man was ripped away from her.

Alessa watched as a bunch of tables and chairs toppled over as he skidded across the floor. And then she saw a familiar face, but he looked different.

She was used to a smiling version of him, now he looked a tad intimidating as he glared at the male.

Lucas and Jaehyun stared at each other stunned, Chanyeol exhaled and loosened his tie as he looked at the male. His nose was obviously broken and his cheek was turning into a shade of purple, and also, he was lying passed out on the floor.

“Well, that looks better.” He said flatly before facing her, she noticed how his jaw twitched before speaking to her.

“Are you okay?” He asked her, Alessa blinked but she nodded, she spun around to help Kai to an empty chair.

“Alessa!” He beamed at her, Alessandra puffed her cheeks and looked at her sibling, Lucas blew her a kiss before she could give him the finger.

“We should probably bring him outside.” Chanyeol spoke, Alessa froze when she felt something being draped over her shoulders.

“We’ll do it. Go ahead. People are staring.” He said softly as he waved for Jaehyun and Lucas to help him with Kai. Alessa looked at his coat on her shoulders, she could smell his cologne again.

She felt her cheeks heat up, she looked up and found Dylan grinning at her swinging her purse around his shoulder.

She sighed before stepping away from the group.

“Are you sure Kai sunbae’s okay?” Ahee asked out of concern and Jaehyun strapped the seatbelt on the older male. Lucas chuckled and bumped fists with Dylan, which Alessa’s eyes didn’t miss. She glared at the two.

“He’ll be fine,” Chanyeol spoke before turning to his cousin.

“Take him home, will you?”

“I will, hyung. See you this weekend.” Jaehyun bid them goodbye before speeding away from the place.

“Please tell me no one took photos of that.” Alessa said under her breath, Lucas smiled before wrapping one arm around his sister.

“Jie, relax. It’s~”

“What happened? What did Kai do?”

Chanyeol leaned back against his Mercedes and looked at the siblings. Baekhyun had stayed behind, he was negotiating with the bar owner for the damages and also, trying to mend the damage Kai caused.

“Well, Kai came back from the restroom, he was already a little drunk so, he accidentally bumped shoulders with that man and things went bad from there.” Chanyeol said.

“So bad that you had to toss him like a rag doll across the floor?” Alessa’s tone was sharper than she had intended, which made Lucas and Dylan halt. Even Ahee was taken aback, but the older male grinned at her and raised his eyebrows at the girl challengingly.

“Why? Were you impressed?” He replied, Alessa exhaled and looked at the three.

“I’ll take Ahee home, jie.” Lucas kissed his sister’s cheek (as if that would console her), Ahee gave her a small wave.

“Good night, unnie. You look really pretty even without make up.” She smiled at her, Alessa nodded back and watched as the two walk towards Lucas’s Rover.

“Wang Hedi, I know what you’re thinking~”

“Good night, love you. I’m taking the car. Bye!” Dylan tossed her bag to Chanyeol, the latter blinked in surprise.

“You~” Alessa exhaled as Dylan got in her Wraith and sped away from them.

“You have matching cars.” Chanyeol spoke to her, Alessa slowly took her purse from him.

“Best friend privilege, or disadvantage, whatever.” She grumbled, he chuckled.

“And, thank you for that. It was…yeah, intense.” She was already babbling.

“Come on, I’ll drive you home, Alessa.”

“You don’t really have to, I can~”

“Your laogong already left you, so give it up.” He was teasing her, Alessa’s eyes narrowed at him.

“Should I ask how it went with Seolah?” She shot back as he opened the car’s door for her.

“Okay, fine. Would you please get inside the car, vice president Wong?” He rolled her eyes at her, Alessa laughed. Chanyeol paused, his eyes went to her face, she was flushed, probably because of what happened earlier, and she was smiling at him.

“If I get in, does this mean I get to choose which restaurant we eat at next time?” She asked him, Chanyeol nodded and he impulsively leaned closer to tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear.

“We’ll eat whatever you want, get in.” He said as he gestured towards the seat, Alessa nodded along and slid inside the car. As soon as Chanyeol closed the door, he turned his back to the girl and exhaled.

“Whoa, that was close.” He murmured to himself before jogging toward the driver’s side.

Ahee sat up on her seat as she heard the soft tick tacking from the staircase, Dylan grinned before digging in on his waffles.

“Hi, jie.” Lucas greeted her, she sighed at him but flashed Ahee a smile.

“I hope you slept well, Ahee. I’m surprised you didn’t leave my brother yet.” She said, Lucas chuckled and poured her a cup of coffee.

“Right, jie, we have to leave earlier today because we have~”

“I know, you already told my yesterday, that school trip. Will you make it to the groundbreaking?”

“Yes, I’ll be there.”

“The groundbreaking? Press will be there, you hate that.” Dylan spoke up.

“Ahee-ah, excuse us, some things are easier to discuss in Chinese.” She spoke to the girl.

“It’s okay, unnie. Go ahead.”

“The press?” Lucas echoed.

“This isn’t China, we can’t control this. I asked for Lotte’s help, but there will be media since the government is working with us on this.”

“Have you spoken to pa?” Lucas asked, Dylan leaned back on his seat.

“I will be calling him today.”

“Do you need me there?” Dylan raised his ring finger.

“I should~” Alessa’s phone started to ring, it was her mother’s office. She blinked before looking at the three.

“I have to take this. Continue eating.” She said before excusing herself and making her way towards the study.

Ahee puffed her cheeks and checked her emails, Lucas glanced her phone’s screen and they both gasped.

“Ge, you have to see this!”

Ahee checked the photo again, and she couldn’t help but smile.

Someone had taken a photo of Chanyeol and Alessandra last night, he was seen touching her hair in this cute and somewhat intimate manner as they stood beside his car.

Meanwhile, inside the privacy of her study, Alessa was staring at her laptop’s screen in shock.

“Did you see it?” Her mother spoke, she read the headline again.

Alessa could feel a headache coming as she slid down from her car, she walked towards the entrance of the WongShen building quickly.

“Ya.”

She stopped and turned to her left, her brows rose up when she saw Seolah slowly approaching her.

“Isn’t this too early?” Alessa spoke.

“You’re doing it again.” Seolah said, her tone soft but the look in her eyes didn’t show any emotion.

Alessa halted, she felt her stomach tighten. This was news to her, what the hell was this girl talking about?

She stared at Seolah, trying to read the expression on the girl’s face, she didn’t notice the familiar G-Class pull over right behind her car.

Alessa’s jaw grew taut, and then her eyes went past the girl, Chanyeol was staring at them.

“Your fiance’s here. Get lost.” She spat, she was about to turn back but Seolah spoke again.

“You dare say that to me? Admit it, you always want something that isnt yours!” She yelled at the girl, Chanyeol approached them quickly.

Alessa’s cold gaze remained as she calmly raised one palm, in a matter of seconds, men in dark suits rushed to her.

“Yes, vice president?”

“ miss Gong off the property.” She said simply before turning away from them.

“Ya, Alessandra~”

Alessa faced her again, the look on her eyes made the other girl stop.

“I gave you a free pass once, don’t think I’d do it twice. Because, if you touch me again, I will really make you fall.”
