"Okay, kids. Ready, aim, shoot!" Mr. Park announced before blowing his whistle.

Instantly, everyone started to shoot at lightning speed except Taehyung. Taehyung saw how Kris aim and shoot with no hesitation nor a single flinch. He was like Jungkook, but better. And Taehyung felt intimidated, not just by his skills, but by his looks.

He heard Jimin, not far from him, yelling at him to shoot, "Come on, Tae! What are you doing? You won't have much time!"

Taehyung took in a shaky breath as he remebered how his dad taught him.

~flashback~

"Hey, dad? Is it possible to shoot three arrows at once? I've see you did it before, is it really possible?" A five year old Taehyung asked his dad, his eyes filled with curiousity.

"Why, son. Of course, it's possible! But it isn't easy. You need practice and the right accuracy", Taehyung's dad said, as he is now bending on one knee to have the same height as his son and ruffled his hair.

Taehyung pouted but his pout soon broke into a smile, "Can you teach me? Can you? Can you? Can you?" He asked, bouncing up and down.

"Are you really sure you wanna learn, son? It's really hard", the older reply, one of his eyebrows raised.

"Of course, I do! I wanna be just like you dad! You're my idol!"

His dad soon broke into a smile at his son's words and stood up, "Okay then, son! I'll teach you".

Taehyung squealed as he latches himself onto his dad's waist and the older carried him properly, causing Taehyung to get lifted up and wrap his small arms around his dad's neck as he giggled.

~flashback end~

Taehyung shedded an unknown tear as he recalled the memory, already wasting 30 seconds on the clock. He couldn't help but let a tear fall, because, his idol was gone.

"Kim Taehyung, what are you doing? Hurry up and shoot!" Mr. Park ushered with confusion. Jimin and the others just stood there, telling Taehyung to shoot.

Taehyung just ignored their words and let out a shaky breath. 40 seconds had passed and he didn't shoot a single arrow yet. He grip onto his bow tighter and used his right hand to take three bow out. Call him crazy, but he is gonna shoot all three arrows at once.

Taehyung loaded the three arrows into his bow and pulled the string. The arena quiet down a little at his actions and whispered among each other.

"Is he crazy?"

"He is never gonna make it".

"Is he trying to fail".

But all of their whispers fall on deaf ears as he releases the string of the bow and the arrows cut through the air and impaled the archery board.

A perfect bullseye.

Three arrows.

Three bullseyes.

In one shot.

Taehyung smiled softly and took another three out. He heard gasps and whispers but again, everything fell on deaf ears as he loaded his bow again, pulled the string and release it.

One bullseye and 2 (9 pts.)

Call him a show off and he wouldn't care. He's in his own world now. He imagines his dad, behind him, guiding him. His soft voice ringing through his ears.

He loaded his bow with thre arrows again and repeated the process.

Two bullseyes and 1 (9 pts.)

He took his last arrow and reminded in his head.

53 seconds on the clock.

Everyone was done shooting and he was left with one arrow. He loaded his bow and pulled the string. He closed his eyes and imagined his dad's voice through his head.

"Tae, when the time comes, I might not be able to teach you how to shoot while the arrow is spinning in midair. I really want to teach you... But I can't. But, even if I can't, I want you to learn it. Because that is my dream, son".

57 seconds on the clock, he thought.

3...

He closed his eyes releases the string while rotating the bow 90 degrees and the arrow flew.

2...

The arrow turned to the right side and everyone taught he did a mistake.

1...

The arrow did a smooth turn, a swing, and hit a bullseye.

Mr. Park blew the whistle while looking at Taehyung with wide eyes. It was silent for awhile before everyone started cheering, Mr. Park still staring at his wide-eyed and Kris with his mouth open agaped.

"TAE, TAE, TAETAE, THAT WAS SO COOL!" Jimin yelled as he ran towards Taehyung. Taehyung blushed at his compliment and rubbed his neck.

"T-thanks..."

"Don't be embarrased, Tae! You were amazing, HOE MAH GAWD!" Jimin exclaimed, or, more like fanboying.

Mr. Park headed towards the board and everyone got quiet. Taehyung looked at Kris's board and be got quite a lot of bullseyes as well.

I'm just glad I can make my dad proud..., Taehyung thought.

After he was done inspecting, Mr. Park marched towards the scoreboard and started writing.

Taehyung's eyes widen at his points. He didn't expect to get that high and beating Kris at the same time. Everyone whispered among each other about how the newcomer could beat Kris and even Jimin and other's went speechless. Even Jungkook.

Jimin suddenly, shook the life out of Taehyung. 

"Oh my god, Tae. You know what this means?"

Taehyung just shook his head in comfusion.

"YOU JUST DEFEATED KRIS WU AND THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED SINCE THE DAY HE ENTERED HERE!" Jimin squealed and hugged him, suffocating, the know blushing male.

The others headed towards the two and congratulated Taehyung, even Jungkook, though Jungkook grew even more suspicious of Taehyung.

What are you hiding, Kim Taehyung?

Jungkook knows he shouldn't be acting this way but he just couldn't help it. He does want to get closer to Taehyung, he really does. Even though his stomache does all those weird flippy-acrobats thingy whenever he sees Taehyung, he couldn't help but to think that the older is hiding something.
